Stuck...
A small fox lay unconscious on a beach, with a large cut on his lower left leg. All around him, large chunks of wood occasionally washed up on the shore. He slowly sat up and rubbed the lime green fur atop his head. He then got up. With a large headache, he made his way over to a small stone. He sat down and tried to assess the situation. In his head he thought," Ok Ben... Keep calm... And carry on...". He sat on the same stone for 20 minutes. Then he stood up, then padded backdown to the beach, then started picking up the pieces of wood from a broken life boat. Luckily, he found a large sheet of metal-a large, golden star, with a banner behind-with a design on it. He was dragging it up the beach, when he slipped on some seaweed, and went tumbling down the sand. He landed in the water, jumping out in pain, with a paw over the cut on his leg, which was now fractured. He limped up the beach, and back to the stone. He lay done next to it. He-fighting back tears-put some soft leaves around his leg, then got some paracord that he found, and wrapped a stick to the back of his leg with it. He got up, wincing, and limped over to a palm tree that bent over like an extremely large bench. He sat down under it, then passed out because he had just been hit in the head with a coconut.
Chapter two: The end of the beginning.
A few hours later, he woke up. Again. But his leg felt a bit better. What baffled poor Ben was why the coconut fell. It was still a pretty, bright green fruit.
He used his claws and scratched a bit into the coconut, then he finally got through! Delicious, ripe, coconut! Once he ate up all the coconut, he gave the palm tree a big hug for being so nice. After, he went back to the beach to finish his job. By the end of the day, he had a basic shelter going. The sheet of metal was leaning against the palm he loved so much, and a few palmetto branches lay around it. He was kind of sad though. He went down to the beach and looked at the stars. A tear rolled down the white fur on his cheek. After about an hour of grieving, he went back up to his small shelter, and curled up to sleep.
The next morning, he stood up and stretched hungrily. He went down to the beach again and cautiously dipped a paw into the salty water. His cut didn't hurt too much, thankfully. He swam out a bit and caught a medium size fish. He brought it back to his shelter. He devoured the small creature with such hunger. Once he finished, he left his shelter to go get some more resources. He moved a log over and shrieked. Under the ten foot log rest THOUSANDS OF INSECTS. He ran all the way back to his shelter, despite his fractured leg. Once he got back, he shook off, disgusted. He didn't like bugs. He cooled off for a second, and went back to the log. Some of the insects had retreated, due to being discovered and also the fact they don't like light. He pulled the log back over, sadly crushing some beetles. He reached down to pick up the previously collected resources, then walked back to what he called home now. He lay the resources down, then walked outside, towards the beach. He looked up at the scorching sun and felt the black fur on his back was really hot. He walked back to his home and looked around. An old cotton t-shirt lay in the corner. He slid it on. "Gee, this thing is huge. Maybe I will fit it when I'm a little older..." He walked back outside, feeling a lot cooler. He stretched out, and ran around the island a bit. He found that it wasn't so small after all. He also discovered a few smaller islands in the distance. He explored for hours. Exhausted, he went home, and his head was hurting and he was dizzy. He was dehydrated. He knew this at once, and quickly, but carefully, gathered some fire wood, then, he used a coconut shell to get water. He put two paws together, and then thought of ways to start a fire. He had a bit of sulfur, that he found, or what he thought was sulfur. He tied it up to a stick, then scraped it on a rock, then... Fwoosh... A small fire. He brought it to the pile and set it in there. It caught fire, and the coconut shell of water, soon started to boil. He had a leaf above it to collect steam, then, it dropped down into another coconut shell. He immediately drank up the purified water. Feeling better, he looked towards the sky, and then curled up in his shelter, to sleep. When he woke up, He decided to chill on the sands of the beach for a while, when suddenly... VRRRRRRRRRRRRRRrrrrrrr... A very large fighter jet-like craft, flew over the island, at extreme speed. He jumped with excitement,"WHOA! COOL!".
Then, it turned back around.(to the island.)
"Uh-oooohhh..." He ducked... But it flew past, and then out of sight."uh..." He went back to his shelter, confused. When he returned, some of the palm leaves had blew off. So he replaced them. Then he new he needed better tools. So he made a small, wooden shovel. He went over in front of the jungle, then started digging. Poor Ben dug for hours. Then, 6ft down, he finally finds... A layer of rock. Poor lil' Ben found a layer of rock. He said to himself,"That's it. I quit.". And with that, he went back to his now minuscule fire, and put some coconut husks on it. Then he put some old dry wood on it. He had a good fire going. He was happy he made inside his house. He pushed some sand around, lay the t-shirt down, and curled up on the shirt, then fell asleep.(As Icy becomes envious of Ben for being able to sleep so much, he passes out due to improper sleep habits. Lololololol)
