Chapter 10
When the first rays of the sun began filtering into the room with a soft light. Though as it reflected off the brass doorknob and shined in my face waking me. Yawning softly while giving my muscles a stretch then climbed gently out of bed. I took a minute to look over at the two lovely ladies still sleeping soundly nearby. As I watched them memories from the night before replayed vividly in my mind.
Not really wanting to wake them but, the school day will be starting in two hours. I jumped into the shower this way I'd be clean and ready for what today brings. Once washed, dried then finally dressed I walked over and woke Sophia first. The Newfoundland gave a loud yawn accidentally rousing Raven from her slumber. "Morning, ladies you might want to take a quick shower and leave here discretely." I began.
"You don't want anyone getting curious as to why you two spent the night here. Granted the last thing I'd want to do is throw either you out of here, Ms, Hunt and Velvet." I stated. The sly expression on Raven's face sent a very strong chill up along my spine. "You're lucky you're such a stud Leon but, in any case you happen to be right. Sophia we'd better bathe together this way it won't take as long." Raven remarked.
"It's too Bad you bathed already Leon you could've washed all of our curves." Sophia winked. Okay I should've waited but, she didn't have to tease me as they went inside. Chuckling to myself and went into the kitchen where I got the coffee pot running. Next I poked through the cabinets to see what was in them I could cook for everyone. Sadly I didn't have much to cook with merely bare essentials and that wasn't much.
Now I've put in a few job applications since arriving at the school but, no response. While I continued to figure out what to make everyone I turned on my smart phone. Once the device was finished starting up I checked for messages and found two. The first one was E-bill reminder that it was due to be paid by the end of the month. As for the second message was a voicemail from a phone number I didn't recognize.
Dialing my voicemail's number then punched in my password and listened. It said; "Hello Mr. Baldric, I'm calling in regards to the job application you E-mailed. After careful consideration I'd like to arrange an interview at your earliest convenience. Please call me back at, (***)-***-****, ask for Charlotte. Thank you, goodbye." I wrote the down number then set a reminder on my phone.
Sure enough by the time I decided on what to cook the bathroom door opened. "Mmm, Leon is that French Vanilla coffee you're certainly a man after my heart." Sophia murred. As she fetched a cup from the cupboard then poured some into the small cup. It kinda shocked me that Sophia actually liked her coffee black with no sugar. Raven was the total opposite she put in a lot of sugar and plenty of cream.
"I'm sorry ladies I don't have much in the way of food to cook a healthy meal." I replied. Both women looked up from their cups and told me not to worry too much about it. They would grab a bite to eat at the cafeteria before heading to their respected offices. "Oh, before I forget Leon please come by my office when you're done for the day. I'd like to know how your first day among your fellow classmates went." Raven said.
It was a simple request but, I wondered what else she had in mind for this mutt. Sophia could see my concern though for some reason she decided to stay silent. Figuring if she did it would open a whole new can of worms and at my expense. After finishing her first cup she poured another while Raven put her's in the sink. Kissing my cheek, grabbed her bag and coat then wished me the best of luck.
