The fight between Life and Death
Gabriel Van Helsing: *Not one to deprive his prey from their last choice of words, Gabriel would indulge himself and the creature alike. Speaking with a respectful albeit accusing tone of voice thereafter.* "I speak for the one true Lord - The King of kings, the salvation to this world, breeding sinners and evildoers alike. His only son perished at the cross by the hands of those whom he had tried to save from His judgement - And so He has sent me, to cast you down. I am His wrathful hand, the tool for his righteous fury. I ask if you once more, and then not again; do you lay down before his word and kneel to accept thy fate in His grand design." *With that, Van Helsing's motions became a blur of actions. With a speed you had witnessed scarce few times before, surely, did he draw forth his revolvers - The sound of both firearms' hammers being cocked back, as they now became both armed and dangerous. A jet-black metal surface, silver and gold woven into its design.. These pieces of 'retribution' appeared ceremonial in appearance, but also lethal. Very Lethal. Regardless, Gabriel now commenced to iterate a few more lines of Biblical text.. But this time around the words were performed in the same fashion akin to the last time the entity felt a grasping hand, tight around its very core of existence. The Latin verse rolled from in between Van Helsing's lips, brimming with otherworldly essence and might alike.* "Exsurgat Deus et dissipentur inimici eius, et fugiant qui oderunt eum a facie eius." *Eyes narrowed, the Hunter would examine the Demon's response to these events.*
Akihiko Satsui: "But that's just a bedtime story humans tell one another to make sure they're good... and then they use that same story to make others seem bad... and hurt people with it." he reasoned, but before he could actually continue his words, the sudden movement made him perk his ears and he was glad that his habitual reaction to be self-sufficient and protected was in creating those elemental runes beneath him and as he had walked, got him out of the way with a short teleport backwards to the bottom of the stairs where he had come up to sit in the stands. "Woah! What's the matter with you!? Do you attack everyone you first meet?!" This only emphasized Aki's knowledge of the Human's story of "God" and faith, this religious zealot was coming at him without any kind of provocation and trying to assault a teenager whom had been walking to find a seat somewhere, the reaction to the words Gabriel spoke was the same as it had been before, he felt like he was suffering a head cold, it didn't stop him from moving, but it was annoying and made it a bit harder to breathe. "I haven't attacked you, Mortal Warrior! So why are you attacking me?!" he demanded, he had no weapons so he wasn't in a state he could defend himself, he had been often scolded that using his powers against mortals, even demi-gods, was strictly against the rules... but mom and dad had never prepared him for trying to defend himself.
Gabriel Van Helsing: "Thou shan't speak of His nature in vain, heathen. Prepare yourself - Holy judgment I now besiege onto thee." *With that, the reverberating and echoing sounds of gunfire cascaded from the Colosseum's stone structure all around. Powerful .45 cartridges were now aimed to impact squarely into the entity's chest area - Moreover, the bullets were transfixed to connect with the opponent's very heart region. Four exploding exclamations of assault in total - Then Van Helsing went for the pursuit, dashing at a tremendous velocity, attempting to catch up to his prey. As he did, his bootheels dug themselves in firmly in the aftermath, spinning upon the right one. Trench Coat billowing to the side for a split-second, both revolvers were beaming at the 'teenager' yet again, as another salvo was forced into his direction. A true barrage of blessed silver was now heading into the "abomination's" direction... It appears Gabriel had no intention of hauling his quarry back to the Vatican alive. Another verse was iterated, much more vividly now. An echoing stream of power-soaked Latin.* "Erubescant et conturbentur vehementer omnes inimici mei convertantur et erubescant valde velociter. Amen!" *His speech was nigh-on pulsating with the conviction the left hand of God felt deep within his heart.. A presence that should be rightfully feared by many.*
Seth Uchiha pops into the arena and sits on the top of the wall.
Akihiko Satsui: "I'm not a heathen! I'm a hanyou!" he stated in complaint and then saw the bullets coming his way, he yanked himself back behind a railing, a wall, anything of the stairwell that could protect him and crouched. "The hell!?" he stated with a yelp, nope, definitely not prepared. And Gabriel was making it more and more apparent that human 'Gods' were assholes! If this is what they taught their zealots to do, they were no better than the darkest pit of hell! As he tried to scramble to get out of reach, and rolled across the sandy earth scraping his fingers along the ground and trying frantically to create a set of runes he could use to shield himself with, he tensed, saw a bullet coming towards him at such a high capacity he yanked his arms up in an attempt to shelter against it, and a wall of sand shot from the marks he'd scraped into the ground, offering a slowing of the projectile's velocity, but not entirely sheltering him from taking a hit. He gave a small yelped cry, like any kid that had been shot, and silver spilled from his wounded shoulder, his fingers gripping it, and splattered upon the ground, sounding like the soft bells of an angel's tears hitting the ground. "STOP!" he stated towards Gabriel, and was trying to find a means of getting some distance between himself and the zealot. He had to think fast, he didn't want to hurt the man, but if he didn't do something, this insane Jesuit was going to kill him!
Seth Uchiha gave a glance down upon what he saw and frowned. "Gabriel... what in the name of the Seventh are you doing?"
Gabriel Van Helsing: *A solemn voice emanated from underneath Van Helsing's hat - It was the sound of a man whom did what he did out of servitude for a cause... Not because he, personally, supported its beliefs. Hell, you might even detect the vaguest hint of regret, vested deep within the Hunter's vocal cords. Nevertheless, the Holy Council had ordained for this creature to perish by the hand of God. And so it shall be.* "The work of God." *Those three simple words were all Seth had been granted in terms of response. With that said and done did Gabriel fixate both revolvers' barrels upon the now fallen frame of this 'dark' entity - Narrowed eyesight, faintly trembling digits that enveloped the cold metal surface of the trigger. "In nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritus Sancti. Amen..." *That last words was iterated with a sigh thereafter, for it followed after the sound of two sources of gunfire - Both barrels expended forth their silver alloy payload, aimed to pierce right through the teenager's heart. At least he could grant this creature a swift death, he thought to himself...*
Akihiko Satsui: "In nomine coeli Adiuro te!" Akihiko replied sharply, and held his arm, he saw the bullets coming at him and one arm was not in a proper state to protect him, that being said, the youth had used Enochian Latin back at Gabriel in hopes that the runes he'd tried to mark would help slow the hunter down, but his palm lifting to brace in the air, he then looked at the blood seeping from his shoulder and using the silvery stuff he got to his feet and as quickly as he could, drew in the air. The movements were not unlike something Seth would know, seals that were not like those he used for his ninjitsu, but similar in setup, he created a magic circle before him and drew the seal rune in its center, he braced himself and put his opposite shoulder against it and a transparent barrier formed before him... but Aki was still a teenager, he was still learning his skills, so when the bullets impacted, they practically exploded. He was sent tumbling heel-over-head backwards and slid across the sandy ground, he was now bloody, covered in abrasive sand, panting, sweat-drenched, and hurting... but he was alive, for the most part. He rasped and grit his teeth, he wasn't supposed to use his powers, he wasn't supposed to use anything against mortals, but as much as he wanted to obey the laws and rules his parents set in front of him, he was being given very little choice right now. He struggled for a moment and panted, his fingers sparking with tendrils of white lightning around each digit, he moved to shove his fist through the Magic Seal he had created to barricade himself from Gabriel, and it shattered outward. It was impossible to see his hand or what it was doing, but when he grasped what he felt within the pocket dimension he had forged, he pulled it from the circle, and what came forth was a gigantic and ornate scythe. He wielded it as if it way less than a feather, but it looked like it would weigh as much as Thor's Mjolnir would. "Now, I'm mad."
Seth Uchiha gave a soft snarl at what he saw and at the words, 'The work of God' he felt something inside him snap in two. Even this was reinforced when he saw Akihiko take the injuries he did and his tails bristled with energy as his left eye lit up. The Rinnegan. Without hesitation after the other stood up, Seth vanished and reappeared in front of the younger male; having drawn his blade in-between the teleportation of his left eye. His back was against Aki and he was facing towards Gabriel. He bristled with more energy, blue chakra outlining his body as he gave a soft growl. "Don't speak that word as if you understand it." He snarled, lifting his left hand to point out at Gabriel. He'd thankfully appeared after both had thrown their attacks, so he wouldn't have to really work around them. "I'll show you what a God can do." He said, lightning crackling around him as he shot a thousand small black lightning needles from his left hand; palm and fingers both. Each needle was aimed particularly for a vital point; shoulders, elbows, knees, all aimed to immediately try and render Gabriel completely unable to move. And if any managed to get into the body, he could use them again to shatter them inside the body if need be.
Gabriel Van Helsing: *The triangular ears atop his cranium now twitching as Van Helsing took in the response from this secondary creature, he'd witness how his initial prey had commenced to arm himself in an appropriate manner to what Gabriel saw within the teenager. Nevertheless, this was all for nought, as the second entity manifested itself before the Holy Hunter - In turn, Van Helsing fixed his pistols upon the newcomer, stating the following string of audible words in a non-hostile fashion; he meant it.* "You have not been ordained to perish by the Lord's hand, creature - Step aside. His wrath is not yours to suffer this day." *With that said, the fox's hazel eyes briefly opened themselves in shock. The same 'shock' that would most definately course through him if he did not react swiftly - Thus it was that the dexterous feline took to lowering himself onto a sullen knee, executing a deft barrel roll towards the right. Twin revolvers now transfixed upon the new threat, Gabriel sighed and deduced that this was not going to end with the third party laying down their proverbial 'arms'. Time to get to work once over then... Trigger finger's itching, Van Helsing expended the rest of his silver and mercury ammunition towards the opposition; namely the newly arrived threat. All bullet were aimed at the torso region, for they formed the most spacious target for now, he had to think on his feet here... His bullets were spent for now, so the warrior-monk got up from his knelt down position on the sands and backpedalled whilst rummaging around within a separate compartment, stitched into his trench coat. From it did he delve up a pair of preloaded drum barrel magazines - The flow of motions thereafter were well-timed, fluid and trained to perfection. Clicking both colt .45's drums open and to the side, he'd heighten the firearms so that the emptied drums of both guns fell to the surface, then he'd slam the fresh ones onto the pin - Cocking the revolvers to the opposite sides now in order to fasten them in place. Reloaded! Pacing back yet again, without panic in his motions, he'd pull the triggers endlessly, aiming to let his payload impact on both the scythe wielding prey and his 'protector'. To aid him in such regard dod he verse out another Latin quote.* "Eripe me de inimicis meis, Deus, et ab insurgentibus in me libera me."
Akihiko Satsui was panting, gasping really, his shoulder felt a tad on fire, but not the way a Demon would sense it, it was that dull burning ache of being slugged hard enough to bleed, and his blood, the color of white-gold, pooled down his arm and into the cup of his hand, it stained the scythe he was leaning on and seemed absorbed by it, he flinched because keeping that scythe out for longer than was intended was a drain on his stamina, mainly because he had taken his /mother's/ weapon of choice. He hadn't earned his own yet, and as a result the Scythe, a corporeal embodiment of death, sentient in some ways that were unbeknownst to him was letting him know it was unhappy with being trounced around out of its sleep, but he needed some kind of arms that he could use to defend himself with, when Seth landed in front of him seeming ready to fight, Aki uttered a reply of "He's out of his mind! I was going to sit in the stands to watch the fighters down here and he started claiming his God said to kill me!" Or at least that was the gist of what Aki understood in the current circumstances. He tried to grip harder onto the scythe, it was upside down, the blade resting against the ground, and he was keeping himself standing with the blade's staff.
Seth Uchiha did not waste precious time when he watched the other reach into his arms and draw out new weapons, nor did he waste a second when he saw he had to waste time reloading. In but an instant, Seth created two clones of himself that ran back towards Akihiko to create a barrier upon arrival. If he didn't get protection on him now, he'd become somewhat of a detriment later on. Now, that he had clones creating a solid sealing barrier by holding their hands out and forming a transparent barrier that could hold out nearly anything; especially whilst the clones were there, he didn't have to worry too much about it. Immediately after creating the clones, Seth moved with a blurred motion. Where the other wasted time, Seth took advantage of it. He dashed forwards as a kunai knife dropped into his left hand; which he caught. He moved faster than most eyes could even track, and if they were even able to; he'd still be slightly a blur. He paid literally no attention to the words of Gabriel nor Akihiko, because he simply didn't care. Either he would incapacitate Gabriel... or kill him. As he moved, he began to weave side to side, intending upon reaching Gabriel before he even got the chance to fire his weapons or fully reload them. As he did.. what may surprise everyone was he didn't even try to strike out. He hid the kunai by dropping it at Gabriel's feet silently, and distracting him by fluttering his cloak over the other. He did this as he removed it, and by swinging his left leg up and around, in a sort of round-house kick, sending himself right over Gabriel. He was going to drop his cloak right on the 'feline' if he could. After that, he was set to land behind him, or so that's what he aimed to do. He brought his blade up, pressing his left palm against the butt of the hilt and aiming the blade so that it pointed behind him, underneath his right arm, and right towards Gabriel's spinal cord, between two of the lower vertebrae; in a way that- if everything went as he had planned out and set into motion - would pressure against Gabriel as the fluttering cloak and a feinted kick would cause Gabriel to stumble backwards. The blade wouldn't pierce right away, but if it worked and he pressed that blade against the proper spot; which he was more than capable of doing with his sharingan active, he would utter the following words. "Surrender now, and I will spare you. Continue, and you die. This is your choice."
Gabriel Van Helsing: *Realising that the opponent's level of speed was akin, if not greater than any of the other unholy creatures he had faced beforehand, Van Helsing grunted out dispassionately. Letting his hazel eyes drift from blurred frame to blurred frame, he utilised every asset of his training and prior experience to at least attempt keeping up with the assailant's actions. Much to his own dismay did Gabriel find out that this was not the case. Least of all did he anticipate on the cloak being spun over his vision from up above, followed by the vicious, if slightly held back, kick. He did indeed stumble backwards in turn, yet the warrior-monk was not about to let the opposition get the better of him with such ease. Utilising the momentum gained by the enemy's very own kick, Gabriel spun around upon his leather bootheel and arced the stock of his left revolver towards the side, right in front of his own torso - It had been instinct more than anything else, but the firearms handle was most presumably successful in knocking the kunai blade to the right thereafter. If such was the case, Van Helsing did indeed come to the realisation that the velocity in which this creature maneuvered around left very little room for reloading - A testament to this statement would be the fact that only /one/ of his colt .45's had been successfully restocked with fresh silver bullets; the other still rested within his paw's grasp, drum barrel opened and useless for the time being. Wanting to turn the tide on this dire situation, gabriel granted the opponent the same 'courtesy' of not bothering with audible response and instead dropped his emptied revolver to the sandy soil, letting the now emptied digits bolt towards and underneath his trench coat once more - From its darkened depths did he reveal a peculiar contraption.. A saw blade mechanism that was attached to a trigger of sorts - Applying pressure with his fingers, the bladed weaponry commenced to whirr its song of deadly intent. Utilising such to carve through the fabric of said cloak, he'd regain his vision thereafter and started to execute a lethal dance of slashes, arcs and weaves with his entire frame. Each and every strike was followed by that saw blade's surface, mayhap successful in connecting with the person's own body in turn. Sidestepping and pacing around the assailant's own position, Van Helsing was now displaying a measurement of speed that transcended most mortals' capabilities.. This wasn't over yet - Not by a long shot.*
Akihiko Satsui felt like an infant in comparison to the pair and it showed with just how much he was trying to keep the pair in his vision, but he was feeling a touch light headed because the wound had not yet fully closed, he flinched a little and gazed towards his shoulder, a bit useless for anything but being a nice little trophy the pair seemed to be fighting over, he mentally cursed at that idea, but that's exactly what it was. Gabriel to break him, Seth to protect him... and while he was hoping a more peaceful means of subduing the zealous Hunter, it seemed such an idea was not in the cards, as he tried to stand up straight, he found that putting more of his weight on the scythe meant it became more like a seesaw than a crutch and he yipped before falling flat on his ass into the sand and grunted, the scythe telling him it had enough of his awkward manhandling as it seemed to shatter into shards of light and return to where he had pulled it from. "Wha-WAIT!" he yelped back at it, and felt the equivalent of being told 'nope! you're on your own!' he grit his teeth then and looked at his shoulder, trying to find where Gabriel had shot him in hopes of prying the irritating slug of metal from his bones. "NGH!"
Seth Uchiha almost smiled as he saw that the fight wasn't over with such ease. He'd have been so disappointed if it had been, he'd have probably just killed Gabriel because he enjoyed 'wetting his blade' so to speak, with blood. Upon hearing his kunai knife being knocked aside, new ideas; tactics, all popped into his head and were sorted by his battle-trained mind into proper orders. As he felt the other behind him begin to cut open his cloak he acted again. He brought his blade down, and went to bring it back up. As he did so he pushed off his agile feet once more initiating a flip of sorts, knowing that almost one hundred percent, he had full advantage at close ranged combat. He flipped into the air again, simply to do only one thing. Spot his knife. Once he had found its location, everything from there was like simple clock-work. He did not flip himself over Gabriel again, merely launched himself above the other to effectively avoid the cuts and slashes from that strange blade. In this, he also gained an extremely detailed look at the situation. One more so than anybody else may gather in what appeared to be a split second. He threw his blade straight down into the ground right where he had just been; purposely missing Gabriel by probably a long shot as he spun his body again to do this action. As he spun around, he weaved a few hand-seals and ended up with his palms facing outwards. At this point, he had spun up, caught vision of his surroundings, weaved hand-seals, and positioned his blade and himself exactly where they needed to be. "Chidori Connection." He uttered. This being said, the knife, and the blade were at positions to which Gabriel was right in-between. Both items were infused with his chakra prior to combat, as all his weapons were. This made it easier to perform techniques like this on the fly and in the midst of battle. This specific technique did one thing and one thing only. It connected a solid line of black lightning from the butt of the blade, to the knife. The butt of the blade was around Gabriel's waist, and with his sharingan he had been able to pinpoint the precise location as to which he needed the blade to land in order for this lightning to pass right through the lower vertebrae.. exactly as he had intended to do earlier. Seth, was almost with ease far faster than Gabriel, and it was one thing he intended to use to his advantage. All this happened in but a few seconds. The lightning shot forth between the blades, and if on target, it would pierce right through the spinal cord and sever it; effectively rendering Gabriel's lower half completely useless. After he finished the technique in the air, he used his left eye; the Rinnegan to keep himself afloat, drawing forth two more kunai (one in each hand) to prepare to defend himself if need be.
Gabriel Van Helsing: *His mechanical sawblade missing its intended mark due to the other individual becoming airborne, Gabriel witnessed, with gnashing teeth, how the velocity in which this opponent maneuvered around was commencing to be a rather tremendous nuisance. Nevertheless, the warrior-monk had envisioned the floating target and aimed forth his remaining colt .45, wanting to expend a salvo of three silver and mercury bullets towards the creature - From such a distance it was becoming exceedingly difficult to properly aim at a specific part of the opposition's frame; regardless, his bullets were on point still, bounding for Seth's torso and visage respectfully. Yet, when the almost arcane-based incantation took place did Van Helsing get caught off-guard. The onyx coloured lightning delved far and deep into his system, body now jolting frantically - Crackling waves of static were beaming in and around the Hunter's frame itself... And he felt that he had started to lose control of his lower portion of the body.. This was it, he thought - The final chapter in his accursed story of existence. He welcomed the embrace of Death, cherished and lusted for it even.. But things were not meant to be for this weary and old veteran of Holy retribution. Opening his hazel eyes with a burst, Gabriel felt the Latin verse escape his lips without realisation.. This was above and beyond himself; he was forced, rather than willing. The string of words came bounding from deep within his core, reverberating the very air around him so that ripples of unknown energy permeated the vicinity.* "Eripe me de inimicis meis, Deus, et ab insurgentibus in me libera me. AMEN!" *It was an incantation the Hunter had used before, but this time over it was accompanied by a physical and visual effect. For some unexplained reason, coming from an unknown source, a luminescent and radiant white and gold glow commenced to envelop Van Helsing's very frame - The onyx bolts of magical lightning were now firm-pressed against the sphere of protective energies that started to swirl around the fox's position. The formerly hazel-coloured eyes had taken on a different hue entirely; for they now sparked and pulsated with a newfound, almost divine, golden glow. The opponent's incantation had proven to be for nought and in vain, for it failed to penetrate through the barrier brought up by the unknowing left hand of God. With that, the barrier fell, only after Seth's own assault had ceased of course. Pacing forth with a new nature of tranquility and utmost control, Van Helsing brought up his revolver yet again and sent forth a torrent, a hail of silver and mercury projectiles towards the assailant - Yet, this time over the casings of his bullets shone bright with that same angelic white and gold glow, perpetually brimming with Holy infused power.*
Akihiko Satsui: "I think... you're just making him MAD!" Aki replied at Seth, or tried to given the wind that Seth kicked up was more likely taking over the sound of anything else but whistling breeze, and he wormed and tried to get at least to his feet well enough to get the hell out of the way, he wasn't sure if the clones were going to follow, and if they didn't, well that wasn't his fault. He was trying to get out of the way, the way these two were going at it, it was Armageddon on Ice.
Seth Uchiha gave a slight snarl as he saw what he did, and what he saw made him quiver with his own deity type of power, one he hadn't tapped into in a very, very long time. What his eyes saw, was even more than what one would hope they would see. Sometimes, he saw too much. He of course ceased his assault with his lightning ability and as the other began to unleash his torrent of bullets again he used the recharged power of his left eye. Short ranged teleportation by swapping places with an object or even a person. In this instance, he used the kunai knife that had been knocked aside earlier and swapped places with it, letting that item; inconsequential, take the assault. He was now exactly in position to where Gabriel was positioned in-between his blade and himself. Of course, at this teleportation, he hadn't managed to get it off before a bullet had cut across his cheek; causing him to bleed. His eyes flared somewhat at the scent and feel of his own blood. It didn't scare him... it made him excited. It made him want more fighting. At this point as well, the two clones protecting Akihiko had taken it upon themselves to make some more and create an even stronger, more solid barrier. "Very well.. you want to play?.. Then I will make you dance like a ballerina." He uttered. He reached down to his hands after standing up and removed the fingerless gloves that were there, the ones that covered up two symbols. A dark crescent moon in his left hand, and the bright symbol of a yellow sun on his right palm. With a slow exhale he extended his right hand towards his blade and essentially used his Rinnegan once more to 'call' it back towards him. Of course, he used it to pull it out of the dirt first. Then, the blade end spun towards him and came flying forwards again, intent on fully piercing and even going through Gabriel, once more.. aimed for the spine. He rather liked severing spines to be quite honest.. and if not for his life style, most may call him a straight up psychopath. He infused the blade with black lightning to give it that extra cutting edge, the ability to slide through nearly any material. The lightning itself was solid-like, enhancing the cutting ability beyond most normal capabilities. He would wait to see what this would do before acting again; but this didn't mean he wasn't ready to defend himself. He knew that teleportation had kept him safe for the most part, so he waited to see what would happen to his blade. Now of course, it couldn't be wielded by anybody other than himself. Precautions and safeguards long set in place to prevent this; and if knocked aside it would merely try to return to him.
Gabriel Van Helsing: *Now lowering the revolver that was present within his paw, Gabriel Van Helsing witnessed how the individual had teleported from one place to the other - Rather, he had translocated himself with the piece of weaponry that had been dug inside the soil beforehand. Yes, he did state this correctly.. he witnessed it - For all the hardship and difficulty that befell Van Helsing prior to this moment to try and keep a beat on the opponent's frame - Be it due to speed or his own lack of perception, he now saw clear as day. Still extremely difficult to keep up with, of course.. But now, at least, the tables were swept clean of any and all advantages. For both sides? Whom might tell. It was worthy of note that Gabriel now tossed his utilised mechanical sawblade to the soil thereafter. It served him no more, its purpose spent. Instead, the Hunter now whipped out this corresponding arm, the right one.. Appendage outstretched in this fashion, a blinding flash of white and golden light pierced through the arena in turn. From this light now became visible the frame of Van Helsing as a whole - Yet, there were very distinct changes to his exterior appearance. Where there was once an emptied right paw there now was present a blade of exquisite craftsmanship. Meticulously crafted from what appears to be the finest blessed silver, the longsword had been split into two, equally in length, blades. The hilt and crossguard perfected to a state no mortal could ever hope to achieve. Its metallic surface permeated and pulsated with a radiant glow of angelic energies and potency. Tho other noteworthy aspect of Van Helsing's change was that now, in full glory, there sprouted from his back a pair of Angelic wings; their feathered frame and surface spread out for a good 6 metres in wingspan in total. This, added up to the glow his eyes already bathed in, was enough to give the impression that there was more to this Holy Hunter than you had first given him credit for. With this now transpiring, the Holy Avenger examined how this blade was bounding for his position - A poultry attempt, he thought to himself.. But his thoughts were not of his own making, not anymore. Thus the 'ascended' Van Helsing turned the hilt of his blade towards the left and upwards, skillfully parrying the lightning-infused knife that had been destined to sever spinal cord from nervous system all in all. It would either be ricocheting towards the side... Or shattered into many a tiny pieces of metal altogether. That remained to be seen. In his own retaliation did Gabriel aim true and expended yet another twenty or so bullets forth from his revolver-.. How peculiar, it appears reloading was a thing from the past now. Light-infused cartridges were bounding for Seth's frame with deadly intent and velocity.*
Akihiko Satsui: "Yep. Officially fucked up." That's all Akihiko could say, his day of watching and observing other fighters had proved to be MORE than he had actually bargained for, he had wanted to /watch/ the fights, not become pulled into them, but Fate is an asshole and likes to throw a wrench into your plans every now and again and it was equally true for those who were the children of Deities... with watching Gabriel and Seth face off, Aki knew right off the bat he wasn't a match for either of them, at least, not yet. He was young, and if he survived to be as old as his father, or as wise as his great-grandfather, he might have a snowball's chance in hell to at least not break something if it came to trying to /spar/ with these two. But this didn't seem like a friendly competition of 'who can do what', this was a knock-down-drag-out-WWE-let'sgetreadytorumble! style brawl. When Aki had managed to get at least to a far wall, he slumped back against it and sank towards the ground, he was exhausted, trying to use what little abilities he had against Gabriel had worn him out, his stamina wasn't on par with the other's, so naturally he ended up slumped in a corner muttering. "Mom's gonna kill me." looking at his shoulder, the fact he likely alerted hir to his presence by taking hir weapon, and being in a location he got hurt in... yelp. He was grounded for the next fifty six lifetimes for sure.
Seth Uchiha 's blade, would be far from shattered or bounced aside. Yes, it would not hit its intended course and instead would return to its owner's hand via the formerly mentioned left eye. As he saw what he did, he gave a sigh. "You dare to hold such power.. simply because of one you worship?" He almost chuckled. "Very well then.. I shall let you witness a true deity." He stood slowly, having been down on one knee formerly and as he did... everything as it was seemed to simply stop. Not time itself, but time for Seth. His perceptive abilities and visual prowess powers multiplied as he released the very last hold placed on his powers. From his back, sprouted black wings to counter the whites of Gabriel's, his form otherwise did not change very much but one thing was clear. His very presence, his very aura and chakra changed. He became a deity in this moment, a deity of death; only able to be so because of the fact he remained in a different realm outside the normal deity of death. His own blade became infused with a solid black color, its metal changed to black of the purest kind and it gave off a presence of murder. "Allow me to send you to the proper God.." He said; his tone echoing as if it was of this world and wasn't. While Gabriel had been given his power by another, or so Seth assumed, Seth's power was innate. It was of his own. As those bullets shot forth, his body moved of its own will and with precision quite literally beyond mortal capability. The blade met those bullets and pushed them aside; and because his own powers were heightened beyond mortal ability, he saw things as if they moved at a snail's' pace, and moved to react properly; able to properly judge things on a new level. "Kirin.." He uttered, a storm forming overhead upon his will. The former two clones created a separate realm of existence around Aki, to keep him safe from the raging fight. As the storm formed in but an instant, materializing out of thin air, lightning began to strike as well. However, this was no normal lightning.. it was infused with his own power and was as black as his blade. With these black wings he walked forwards, eyes glowing a bright red as he bore into the other's own very essence. This lightning struck harder, and a lot faster than that of a normal bolt; and it shook the ground entirely at its core. Seth didn't care. This was not his world, and it being so he wouldn't hesitate to destroy it; which was why the clones had aimed to remove Aki from the area entirely. If they were able, they'd simply take him back to Seth's own residence. As he approached he swung his blade as fast as he could, their battle likely not even see by mortal eyes anymore. He was still normal height, but it was clear that his power was beyond comprehension; at least.. of mortals. His blade came flying down in an arc towards Gabriel's left shoulder, Seth's right. He was intent on just outright killing the other now; and he saw at this point.. it was essentially doing him a favor.
Gabriel Van Helsing: *More justified words had never been spoken - For indeed, bringing this 'mortal' to an end would be an act of kindness; a mercy. Van Helsing found himself trapped within a body and mind that was formerly his own. Now guided by unseen yet incomprehensibly powerful hands, the Hunter.. No.. This vessel of Holy Fury and Wrath now commenced to toss the revolver to the side as well. This bout was not the place for the weapons created by mortal devices. This exchange between the two god-like beings was something to be recorded; to be written down into the annals of history - Of there even was a future to have it be read in afterwards. Borrowing from what appeared to be an endless supply and source of energy, Gabriel whisked his now freed left paw overhead. A luminescent yet potent barrier formed itself above his frame, akin to a shielding roof that protected the weary poor from the downpour amidst a dreary day. The bolts of lightning impacted harshly upon this divine surface of white and gold, crackling apart and leaving visible indentations here they so struck ever so viciously; but it held, nevertheless. And then it came about.. The moment that all could have been waiting for ever since these two individuals crossed proverbial 'blades'.. The impact of Van Helsing's own weaponry upon Seth's. The clash of metal reverberated through the vicinity with the sound of a nuclear device being detonated - The kinetic energies created from this point of impact could have been akin to that same phenomena. The sands and even the stone structure of the Colosseum as a whole suffered the brunt of this single, sullen clash of blades between the two adversaries - Long forgotten was the pledge laid upon Gabriel's soul to try and bring down the creature known as Akihiko.. This was something else entirely. And so, the first strike of Seth's own sword was parried, blocked; only to then have Van Helsing retaliate in a swift and deft motion of his own. Arcing his blade overhead and towards the left, he'd aim to execute a diagonal assault towards the opposition. he was about to cleave the opposing deity in half, from left shoulder to right midriff. He did so with a speed and accuracy unmatched.. Surely not to be reputed as a strike from any mortal, by any means. If Gabriel's former power level had been a steady 4 or five, the knob had been turned to a proverbial and mind-boggling 12.*
Seth Uchiha was almost too hap-- no, okay, he was WAY too happy at this turn of events. He was smiling wickedly the entire time he moved. As his blade was blocked and parried, he chuckled and let himself move with the momentum of the stroke, swinging around to move in closer. He did not need to block the oncoming attack because he could *see* it coming and *feel* it coming; as if he was in tune with the other entity itself. He spun backwards again and around, dancing ironically like a ballerina of sorts, around Gabriel. He spun in a circle of sorts, with his blade level at the others' neck, and he was intent on doing one thing. Spinning behind him (going the way the blade is to keep away from it) and placing his sword around that neck and slicing it clean off. Whilst that speed and accuracy would be unmatched by most, the entire foundation the shinobi was built on was silent, accurate and swift deaths of his opponents. By nature alone, he was faster, quicker-thinking and faster on his feet than the other. Especially now he had taken up his own form of god-hood.
Akihiko Satsui wasn't sure if he should be grateful he'd been rescued, or completely flabbergasted that this fight happening before him was reminiscent of some old Japanese Monster movie, with Godzilla Versus Ghidorah. "They're going to tear this place apart..." he looked around at the area itself, and this Colosseum wasn't at all the type of place that would withstand an Ethereal bought of this magnitude without bearing a few scars, and while he was exhausted, he began to wonder if he shouldn't make sure to contain this fight where the world would still be standing once they were done, he was slower than they were but not any less skilled in being able to keep something contained... he'd likely get hell for it later, but using the solid wall behind him to brace himself, and holding his hand in front of him, he created the magic seal he had done before, but reversed it... as he pulled the direction and pulled it forward, the rotating sound of gears grinding was heard in manifest of the air, a strange crystalline look surrounding the four walls, creating prismatic structures and a reflection of the world around them, Aki used what strength he still held, and what skill he was best known for, to draw himself, and the two combatants into the Mirror Realm, he may not have been able to fight, but he could at least protect the waking world. ( ) (Because people will be pissed if their fighting grounds are gone.
Gabriel Van Helsing: *Letting his radiating sight fixate upon the blur of motions the opposition was executing, Gabriel attempted to calculate the trajectory of the incoming blade's arcing strike. Yet, it was due to the fact that Van Helsing was still 'resisting' this influence of god-like hands trying to guide and empower his own skills that it was all for nought. The blade of the other deity made physical contact with the angelic beings and was able to cut a portion of the way through. Where once one might have expected to witness a spray of crimson life essence coming from Gabriel's neck, they'd examine only the blinding light of the very stars themselves, pouring from the opened gash within the combatant's flesh. As soon as this display of injury had diminished itself, the only thing left in its wake was a small 'waterfall' of stardust that oozed from the wound itself. An injury sustained, but no less able to fight on, Gabriel turned about and performed the dance of Death himself. Arcing his blade alongside himself, footwork impeccable to a fault, he'd exchange yet another blow towards Seth's own frame. This one was aimed to go from the uppermost corner of the opponent's head, down to his left shoulder and then down again thereafter, wanting to cut through the being's torso altogether - Like writing a '7' with his angelic blade. Yet again it must be worthy of note that the speed was unmatched.. Perhaps not on par with Seth's own level of dexterity for now.. But such was Van Helsing's own fault, for he did not fully embrace the powers vested within himself - Contradicting Seth, whom had made them his own entirely. Regardless, with this, the bout continued.*
Seth Uchiha at this point was smiling, and he knew at this moment when his blade connected with the others' neck and sliced in, that the fight was over. No matter what, he had won this bout. As he saw the other's attack coming towards him, he had one option and he knew how to execute it flawlessly. His left hand shot up to catch the sword wielders' oncoming wrist and as he would grasp it, he'd twist and push to the left along with the rest of his body and the blade embedded in the others' neck. His black aura, his black lightning.. came forth once more into the blade as he intended upon ending this being right here and now, in a swift motion of death. "gomeifuku wo inorimasu." He uttered gently, knowing full well that one way or another he was going to finally end Gabriel's life. Give him the rest, and peace, he had wanted for oh so long. It was a sort of 'perfect' defense, by grasping the other's wrist he had prevented the oncoming onslaught, and had braced himself to shift the weight over.
Gabriel Van Helsing: *For all effects and purposes, Gabriel's existence, his story, should have ended right there and then. When Seth's blade thus embedded itself deeper within Van Helsing's neck did more and more of that familiar dust run freely about, oozing from the opened up gash ever so profoundly. A light shudder was felt, going through Gabriel's form, as Death's arms now firmly enveloped themselves around the spent and weary warrior's frame. Closing his eyes shut, firmly so, the warrior-monk would envision a field of the purest light.. Encased within the beaming rays of golden sunlight - The blissful and eternal 'reward' that awaited him after countless acts of sin and display of zealous conviction.. It was finally hi-.. "NO..." The sullen voice that rang through every fiber of his body and soul alike spoke only that one word - It was the first he had heard Him saying. Whatever, or whomever that Him was... Well, many people have their own beliefs and convictions. Others do not hail it entirely.. But Gabriel, he knew.. And he faced his forestalled judgement for the second time. For he himself did not know, but this moment in time was but an echo of a much more grand event, long past and forgotten... His soul, already adrift on a stream of non-existent air, was now cast down ever so viciously. It now felt trapped again, encased in an unwilling body that suffered the wrath of Seth still... For in that one moment, the moment of 'reaping', time stood still - Even for a mighty Deity such as Seth himself. It was a moment in time, most sacred to all and any. None had play in this.. Not even Death itself. Ascending was an act of something more.. But that moment had been broken. Gabriel felt the pain within his neck all the more now, and cried out. It was a roar, a scream of perpetual agony. But what might forego the opposing Deity's thought process was the fact that he did not exclaim his roar due to the fact he was being impacted upon by a blade, no... It was the solemn realisation that death had once more been snatched from his grasp - That sweet and freeing moment, cruelly swiped away from the board. It was in that moment, where all his hopes and doubts alike were answered in turn.. gabriel, gave in. Exhaling once thereafter, the sigh, the breath of air that forced itself up from his lungs - It reinvigorated him. A secondary burst of light. Yet, this time over it was one of the most pure gold in nature. Should Seth have been gazing into Gabriel's direction ( which he most presumably did ), even he'd be temporarily blinded by its radiant glow. Once this display of otherworldly power had subsided did he bare witness to a completely transformed opponent. Where there was once nothing to be seen on his person than the mortal attire of a Hunter.. Leather trenchcoat and hat.. Shirt and billowing trousers - There now was, in its place, a set of golden metallic armaments. A suit of plate that clasped around his features like silk around a maiden's bosom... It was /made/ for him. So too did the injury in his neck appear to be absolved from existence. he had been rejuvenated in this one moment of compliance - Of surrender. The left hand of God had given into his fate, his purpose. And so it was that he now stood, vibrant light encasing his form - Luminescent eyes of white and gold transfixed upon his opponent, Seth. Those orbs, if peered into, reflected the stars and galaxies of the universe all in all.. It was like peering into the night's sky on a clear day. Angelic blade in hand, he'd swerve the weaponry upwards and held it with the tip pointing skyward-bound.. A salute.. Followed by Gabriel swishing the blade down and to the right, arcing it an a 45 degree angle from his position... he was ready. Like a certain mortal game franchise once made famous, this line was most appropriate: ROUND TWO! FIGHT!*
Seth Uchiha 's smile had faded to a straight face as he simply watched the events unfold before him. Because while most times had frozen.. this form of his own essentially existed outside time and space. Of sorts. His own eyes... they were essentially darkness and solitude itself, pure essences of hatred and anger, of pain and sorrow, suffering and past consequences. These eyes.. they were piercing, haunting and utterly terrifying in the skull of a deity. His left eye, the Rinnegan eye bore the ability to see; capture and remove and even hold souls. It was one of the biggest things that pushed him towards that of a deity. "You just don't learn to admit defeat, do you? His time has come to die, and you cannot stop it from happening." He said and as the blade swung down towards him... it would pass right through his body. As if he were corporeal, or fake. Both eyes combined, he was able to enter a false world just in the moment the blade had passed through him. As this happened he reacted instantly, dropping his blade (which essentially just sheathed itself) and making his right hand a flat palm. "Divine Power: Chidori." He said, the black lightning once more and almost literally, screaming to life in a deafening tone. Of course, Seth was immune to this; by his own powers, using it to 'coat' his ears in a protective manner. As he threw his hand forwards in a piercing manner, his strike was aimed right towards the very essence of whatever was battling him now. Whether it be a soul, or an entity or whatever it was.. it was aimed right for the very core being. "Die." He uttered the word with finality, and shoved his hand forwards in a fast, strong manner that looked as if it could pierce bodies alone, without even the help of his divine power. He was going to end this here, and now. And stop this child's-play.
Akihiko Satsui was at the point that his energy was running low, the longer the pair were at one another's throat, the more that his time was being whittled down to nothing, it was hard to focus, his eyes were squinting and trying to keep the pair in sight, but his body was screaming at him 'let it go.' He felt himself falter for an instant, and his brain felt addled, it was like fighting against the effects of a sedative. He felt his legs give a bit under him and he took a knee, he was looking up at the heavens and understood why his grandfather didn't like this particular God... this was /cruelty/...not divine mercy... even zealotry had its limit.
Gabriel Van Helsing: *A time to have this child's-play cease to exist indeed. For Gabriel's true power had now been awakened... Or had it merely been rekindled? Nevertheless, the Angelic being maneuvered with a speed Seth could only call akin to his own. It would be not that much of a long shot to now state that Gabriel's prowess was matching Seth's own in terms of dexterity. It was not moving less or more than weaving the very fabric of this plane around his essence until it befitted his purposes. A blurr of motions, as Gabriel's own paw clasped shut around his opposition's and twisted it towards the opposing side. His grasp was iron, the digits around the Deity's own frame; a vice. With that, he'd yank the opponent towards the left and upwards, aiming to rid his near vicinity of this taint. Should this be successful, Seth would feel himself being 'thrown' away and upwards, further away than he had anticipated. What manner of strength was this...? It was beyond comprehension, to place it in a kind term. With that, Gabriel would once more shift in this plane rather than move entirely, wanting to level himself out in mid-air alongside the airbound Seth. The blade that was now omnipresent in his right paw had commenced to strike down in a blur of actions of its own, attempting to pierce its narrow shafts down and into the former threat's torso region. A secondary shift, as Gabriel forced both of their bodies back down, aiming to embed the blade and Seth's body alike to the soil of whatever this Realm's surface consists out of. The Angelic, feathery wings sprouting from those golden-clad shoulder blades extended proudly.. Majestically. This.. This was his true level of power. The true extent of his capabilities... And he loathed every portion of it. Nonetheless, he embraced it... For now.* "I shall deprive myself of You-... If it is the last thing I do before You cast my soul down to Hell itself.." *It hit you.. He wasn't addressing you, Seth.. But someone else.. Someone he HATED more than even you.. Than every Demonic entity in the known worlds.*
Seth Uchiha made eye contact with him more than once in this encounter.. and this was where his right eye shined, and the entire reason it was feared and when one saw it... they knew they were dead. The tomoe in the eye spun, but nothing actually seemed to change. Everything played out exactly as Gabriel wanted it to. Why? Had Seth just.. given up? No. It was a falsity. Things shimmered, and returned to normal after the play and Seth merely laughed, a maniacal, almost insane laugh. "Do you truly think you have any chance against someone with natural talent and hard trained power?!" He laughed even louder. "You are but a puppet in the strings of fate. And I'm playing you like a fiddle!" He burst out laughing. He lifted his left hand and a noise pulsed, as if the very air and fabric shook, and he would aim to yank Gabriel towards him right by the throat. The strength of this pull was almost double that of what Gabriel had done to "Seth" just a moment ago in the illusion he had set. It was, quite literally almost impossible to resist. He would pull him in with this power until he had him by the throat. Once he did, he would try to squeeze. He moved, in the very same way the other did. Bending everything around him to use it to his advantage. Because that's what his eyes were best at, finding exploits and weaknesses, points to attack and points others couldn't see. As he went to simply snuff the life out of Gabriel by squeezing his throat in his hand he cackled. "Death has called for ages you fool.. and nobody can deny Death's embrace... except Death itself." He was dark. His very presence was overwhelming with the feel of death and suffering. "You'll deprive yourself of whatever is holding you here.. and with my help. Just. Die." He growled.
Akihiko Satsui had watched this and what he saw, was suffering... not the kind of a person being beaten within their own life, but a spirit that was screaming. He could practically see the Soul that was Gabriel's mortal life hovering and bound in chains, it was making the motions it was commanded to do so, but there was no joy or majesty in them, they were the strained movements of a creature that was being made to dance this constant facade of a waltz but there was no music to match it, no sign of joy or history of satisfaction being provided. "You go too far." he muttered, seemingly to himself but it was the puppet strings he was watching, the timeline of an invisible clock that just continued to count down but the number that it was counting from was so infinitely long, Aki couldn't at all see with clarity what the man's lifeline was meant to be. What he did know however, was that he was outraged... this man was doing what he was bade to do not out of loyalty but because he wasn't allowed to decline... and it infuriated him. In some crevice in the back of his mind, Aki could feel the cold touch of his inheritance staring at this entire interaction and feeling...cheated. The cards had been put down, the bargain had been struck, but the terms were not being met... when confronted, this "Lord" Gabriel served continued to cop out on allowing what was promised... and Death... was not pleased. "You tread in /my/ territory." the youth's voice dipped a little deeper than intended, and he stood up slowly, the mirror realm was still in place, Aki was still worn out, but he reached and tried to dip his fingers through the embrace of the mirror realm and into the pocket dimension that held his mother's scythe once again, it was stubborn this time, not wanting to be dragged from its comfortable hole, and was given little choice this time. His fingers encircled around the staff under the curved sickle-like blade, he pulled it out slowly and it seemed four times larger than before, it definitely did not seem to be something he should have wielded, and yet he carried it as if it weighed little more than a pencil. He was watching right now... waiting... but Gabriel had become his focus, or rather, the threads of Fate that kept him tied to the Deity that seemed to enjoy tormenting this poor zealot like a loyal dog... one that no matter how much he was abused, continued to be forced to endure more. Aki was feeling in the back of his head that his brain was screaming, it was painful. It was a warning from Gabriel's deity that if Akihiko followed through with what he decided upon, there would be Hell to pay. Still, he waited.
Gabriel Van Helsing: *Perceiving that what had just transpired was nought but a falsehood, Gabriel turned about and found himself within the clasp of Seth's digits - Struggling for a short period of time, his Angelic wings would never cease to 'flap' every now and then. It appears that the kinetic force Seth applied to this entity's neck was somehow alleviated, lowered in capacity. Whatever source of power Gabriel was tapping from, it seemingly did not agree with the other Deity's exclamations. The embodiment of Holy Vengeance now extended a left paw of his own, mimicking his adversary's motions of grasping tight around the neck and applying pressure. If at all possible, Gabriel attempted to lift the manifestation of Death itself from the solid surface they found themselves on and kept a close 'eye' on the opposition. Yet, as Seth spectated, these features of the once mortal fox Hunter commenced to shift and shape themselves around; molding themselves to a blinding display of nought but the purest of golden-white light. Gone were his mortal features that made Gabriel Van Helsing what he was prior to this exchange of otherworldly powers and feats of legend. The strength in which he carried and squeezed shut Seth's throat was astronomical - The voice that now boomed from within that field of light that was formerly Gabriel's visage echoed and reverberated with an underlying tone of Divinity - Or the authority held only by being of the Heavens.* "And You Shall - But Not On This Day. Nor Will You Perish Yourself. I Have Seen This Now.. And I Made My Peace With Such." *With that said, the blade that was held within Gabriel's right paw evaporated in a cloud of stardust and divine white light... Only the very remnants of that source of power now remained within - He'd coil and harness that energy in his palm and extended such forth, letting a cylindrical-shaped beam of pure divine energies pierce through Seth's form. The result..? One will have to see for themselves, now won't they..?*
Seth Uchiha only smiled at the other form.. because unlike this one, when they both died in this instance.. Seth had a restoration awaiting. A sort of fail-safe for if he died under false circumstances. He could handle the pressure around his neck, without a problem. "Then today.. two of us die." He said, raising his right hand to the other being, that very source of power that simply kept this other person kicking for as long as he did. "Your fate has been sealed. This one is under Death's embrace now." He said, matter-of-fact. His right hand did that very same pulsing thing, and he this time was aimed for the soul that was suffering. The one he saw bound by chains and unwillingness. He would perform a soft of reverse seal, to shatter those chains. And this, was done, on the very level of playing that was of the God's themselves, this was done, by the very Fate's themselves. This power he'd drawn forth was the one that the god of Death itself bore, one he had recently gained and.. well maybe stolen. Maybe. It was the power to silence a soul and put it to rest permanently. As he did this, once he made sure that soul was snuffed and put to rest... he snapped Gabriel's neck; along with his own. In this moment, they both "died". But only one of them truly was put to rest for eternity and that was to be Gabriel. Seth had essentially played the deity holding onto that false soul and was going to trick him into letting go. This being said, Seth's own soul was wrapped in a sort of seals and chains of his own... but to prevent it from going anywhere but the one place he kept safe and secret. A place where his soul and body would be restored as it was; a temple hidden near his own homeland. Protected and guarded by barriers amass.
Gabriel Van Helsing: *It was in that moment, where both Titans held each other by the throat and commenced the life out of one another, that Seth played the one card that could make the difference - The legendary and proverbial ace up the sleeve, so to say. Now fixating his desires upon the chains that held Gabriel Van Helsing bound to his irreversible fate, he was met with nought but success. These 'chains' now snapped in half; shattered into a countless amount of Divine pieces.. It snapped, just like Gabriel's own physical neck snapped. With that done, the Vengeful and unwilling agent of God was finally put to the rest he so vividly yearned for. Falling to the surface of this region with a low 'thud', the golden armaments that once encased his frame slowly but surely evaporated in nothing but a cloud of stardust and Angelic light. What was left is the now still and unmoving body of Van Helsing himself-... The fox that became a hunter, the hunter that became a prisoner. The prisoner that had gained the upper hand.. An, at long last; the prisoner whom had been set free of his shackles. He lay there.. Oddly peaceful. And yes.. What you witnessed was the very faint remnants of this creature's final act in 'life'. A faint trace of a smile that played about his lips... He had died, a content man.*
Akihiko Satsui: It was with Seth's almost identical thought to Aki's own that the youth made his move, his head was throbbing by that time and he knew that the other God, Gabriel's God, was absolutely fuming because he was assisting in this, and despite that he felt like his head was going to split open between his ears, he still moved. He tried to pick up speed, leaping over the embraced arms of the clones and over the barrier wall and putting himself at great risk by doing so, but Seth had already started the action, Aki just needed to complete the move. "One... two... Three!" he counted the threads of Fate that bound him to the path that the God had set for Gabriel, and in doing so he yanked the scythe up, arced it out and over both Seth and Gabriel's forms, and attempted to snip the last remnants of the God's control. It was like cutting the cords on a marionette, it wasn't just Gabriel's physical form being set loose from this constant repeating cycle, but his soul as well. He'd regret it later on, but capturing that butterfly of an Angelic's essence and keeping it close to his heart, he gave a glance up to the heavens that thundered in outrage and gave a small meek grin. "No more cheating." he muttered, and 'pocketed' Gabriel's spirit, until he could make sure it wasn't entirely damaged after Gods know how long it had been chained.
And.. scene.
