Pinkie Pie/Apple Jack wrestle
A water fall of puffy pink tail drooped behind her as Pinkie's haunches twitched, preparing to spring out of the bushes. Pinkie hoped she was hidden enough from Apple Jack that she might have a chance to catch the farmer off guard. The party pony could hear the clop clop hoof falls of a farmer getting nearer, and sprang from the bush, realizing a bit too late she was leaping toward a bright red backside.
Pinkie twisted slightly in mid leap so as not to unintentionally end up with a hoof in the chest, grabbing on to Big Mac's rump as best she could as soon as she was in grabbing range. "Tackle...?" She tried to shout, but the uncertainty broke through.
Big Mac jumped at the sudden grabbing, swinging his head to one side to double check and make sure he hadn't imagined Pinkie Pie's voice, verified she was currently attached to his croup, and shook his head slightly. "I'm guessing you're not going to explain what you had planned there, are you?"
"Well, I was looking to catch AJ off guard... And then... I don't really know what I was going to do beyond that... just thought a little spook and maybe some rough housing might get her energy going...?"
Mac rolled the response over in his head a bit before chuckling deep in his barrel chest, a flash of Pinkie's mischief running through his thoughts, "She's two groves over, try again, and make sure to yell 'Let's Wrestle!' when you're in mid pounce. That'll get her blood pumping."
The pink pony slid down off of Big Mac to let him return to his work, "Thanks, Mac," as she trotted off in her skipping gait.
Two groves over, Apple Jack was right on the edge of falling asleep mid buck, not having gotten a whole lot of sleep the night before. That particular grove always seemed to make her more drowsy, and she had at some point pulled her hat forward to cover her eyes in case she did end up falling asleep. The thought of sleep got torn right out of its nesting spot at the sudden shriek of "Let's wrestle!", adrenaline pumping through her suddenly to give her just enough presence of mind to twist to one side, resisting the immediate urge to just buck Pinkie Pie as a response.
The unintentional side effect of turning to expose her flank made it so the full weight of a pastry eating pink pony slammed hard, and also squishy, right into Apple Jack's side, sending both of them rolling across the grove, legs and body parts all tangled together. Unfortunately for Pinkie Pie, Apple Jack was well used to getting suddenly wrestling tackled, though it was usually Apple Bloom instigating, so the farmer was at least half prepared to lock her forelegs around Pinkie and used the momentum to right herself.
Apple Jack realized quickly that her friend hadn't expected to hit her headlong like she had, and was clearly dazed. Two ideas flicked through her adrenaline boosted mind, and she had to resist the first, instead maneuvering Pinkie onto her back, before re-positioning herself to stand triumphantly over her attacker, making sure Pinkie couldn't just slip away when she regained herself.
