She walks over to the bed and scoops me up "Thank you," I say
"Yeah," she replies "I love you," I say snuggling my face into her chest fur, she carries me down the stairs
and into the living room where she lays me down on the couch. She puts a finger to my nose
"Stay," she says and I do a few minutes later she comes back with a coffee mug in paw
she pads over to the couch taking her place beside me.
I pull out my acoustic from its old black and battered case and sit it upon my lap
"Any requests,?" I ask cocking an eyebrow "Fleetwood Mac," she utters not skipping a beat "You know I can't
do Mac," I hesitate but begin strumming anyway "Here's a song about about an old Welsh bitch,"
I smile "Bell rings like a prayer through the night wouldn't you want to love her; Shingles arise like a bird in Flight
who will be her lover" I Chuckle, she scoots closer to me then turns on the T.V. and sips her coffee
gingerly while I continue playing.
I lay against her still strumming but not singing enjoying her company to the fullest
my name is Sarah Ann McCarthy I am 19 yrs. old. I live with my "Friend" Carroll Altman I say
friend because she doesn't like the word partner. Long story short we're lovers and have been since the eighth grade
going on five years now anyway where was I... Carroll gets up off of the couch "I'm Going to get ready for work,"
she says I follow close behind.
I creep slowly up the stairs being careful not to make a sound "What are you doing?..." Carroll asks
"Nothing..." I reply. "You know if you wanted to stalk me there are easier ways to do it"
"I Know, I just wanted to see my she wolf a bit more before she departs to a long day in the workforce,"
"Unless," I giggle "You want to skip work today," then walk up to her and place my hands around her waist
"And do something else," Carol takes my hands from around her waist " As much as I'd like to I'd rather not,"
Carroll sighs...
