It was a nice day in the Tavern. People were rowdy, but not rude. Everyone was having a good time...except Neche. He was a bit frustrated that he couldn't get as much work as other adventurers because he is an incubus. Demons are looked down upon, even after the treaty that was signed. A bell rung, causing the Tavern to go quiet. The bell in the Tavern was the sign that a new set of bounties were arriving. The owner of the Tavern, a retired war veteran, came down from one of the rooms above with a stack of twenty bounties. He did not say a word and placed every bounty upon a billboard. Once every bounty was placed, he retreated back upstairs and everybody looked at the board. The board had jobs ranging from casual to insane.

The Tavern door opened once more before chaos set in. People scrambled to get bounties. Neche didn't even bother this time. It was weird for the other patrons that he didn't try to attempt to get any work this time. The issue was not giving up on finding work or bettering himself, it was fear. What entered the Tavern wreaked of such demonic influence? He slowly looked around, trying to locate the source of such influence, making sure not to bring attention to his self. The patron's eventually cleared the board except for one bounty. An Insane bounty. It was a task to slay a dragon, a notoriously hard feat to begin with. The figure's presence shifted more and more towards the board. It took the insane bounty and gave it a long look.

Neche finally got to look at the figure. It stood eight feet tall, feminine, but not overly feminine. She wore leather armor and carried a sword that was as big as her. She looked like a hyena, but obviously tainted with demon influences as Neche could tell there was off things about her.

"Ah. So they finally want your head Kali..." She said as she was walking out of the tavern. She was stopped when Neche pulled on her tail, making her nearly unsheathe her sword and swing on reaction.

"Hold it." Neche said being both brave and stupid. He didn't know what he was getting into messing with her, but he had questions. She calmed down and faced him.

"An Incubus? A rather curvy incubus. What brings you so far from home?" She asked eying his frame.

"I'm an adventurer." He retorted. He felt uneasy around her. She seemed very dangerous.

"Ah. So there are more demon adventurers? Quite a find. Want to tag along? I noticed you weren't able to find work." Neche thought about this. Dragons are insane tier. It's a death wish for people like him.

"I'd rather -"He was cut off as the woman picked him up and carried him like a lumberjack carries wood. No one tried to stop her as they figured it would be an easy way to get rid of Neche. Despite him being respectful of people and not causing fights, the mere presence of a demon irked people. She carried him until they were outside of town. Ziggs carried him just a little further out to a campsite she had. She finally put him down and sighed.

Neche nearly drew out his sword at the woman for being dragged around.

"Holy fuck how do you keep up that nice attitude in there?"

"Why did you drag me so far away from the city? I could strike you down!' He was pissed. Adrenaline was fueling his thoughts, but she laughed.

"What's your name cute stuff?"

"Yours first."

"Ziggs Az'Ari."

"Neche."

"Neche? A cute name for a cute boy."

"Can you cut to the chase? Why did you drag me out here?" He said calming down.

"Listen Neche. I want to ask a favor from you. It's kinda personal. Remember the bounty on the dragon?" Ziggs said taking it out to show him.

"A death wish."

"Listen. I want you to help me stop Kali. I don't want those savages to lay a finger on him."

"S-savages? You mean the adventurers?" Neche said questioning Ziggs's sanity. He could see her get visibly shaken.

"If they so much as even touch him-"

"Calm down. You're giving off too much aura." Something was off about Ziggs that much he could tell. Eventually she calmed down, but decided to strike a deal with Neche.

"Neche, if you help me deal with this you can have all of Kali's riches. You could buy a kingdom with the amount of stuff he has. All I want from this is to deal with Kali." Neche's eyes lit up. Riches? Gold?

"He has a lot of gold?"

"Tons! Fucking dragon is the richest in the land! It's not riches im after however. That dragon stole something of mines, and if any piss-ant dares uses it, it could spell doom for country after country."

"Doom-"

"Shh lemme finish. It's a relic of the old war. You young demons are lucky. I have to get that relic from him even if I have to tear his fucking guts out of his overloaded belly!" Ziggs was flaring up again. Neche didn't know what he had gotten himself into...
