She fanned out one of her paws and swished it hard from her side at two that came right at her from the front. A blade of force went out like lightning and gouged them both in the stomach, but it wasn't enough to stop them. Blood oozed from the wound but they still charged with demise lingering on their breath.

The vixen screamed in frustration and formed a spear with both paws before firing it for them like an arrow. The tip of the force rammed right through the hostile to the left while the other roared a laugh at its fallen comrade and then leaped for her. She gasped but brought both of her paws together, intertwining her fingers before she threw the balled mass for her assailant.

It got within just a few feet before a massive surge of power slammed into it, crushing every bone and organ it held inside.

Others came in all at once like before again. She threw out shields that knocked the closer ones away while she threw out blades and spears like before, doing sufficient damage to stop them. She was becoming overwhelmed way too fast--they both were.

There was no way they could go, to escape and get the upper hand of the situation, but like this everything was hopeless. She was panting hard as she looked to see how Blizzard was doing. Naturally, he was keeping them all a safe distance away.

It was in this single moment of distraction that a hostile managed to get through.

She faced the monster as it closed in and smashed it with a shield but it was too near and too weak. It screeched in triumph, its claws reaching out and gouging into her arm while its body crashed into hers and forced her to the ground.

She yelled in pain and fright as the black monster climbed over top of her. She fought back with as much strength as she could muster, but it wasn't enough, and it slowly overpowered her.

It took a hold of her arms and forced them to the ground while it opened its mouth. Blood oozed from her wounds, distracting her for a moment, unable to form any of her force together to properly defend herself.

The hostile took only half a second to stare down into her eyes that seemed like several minutes before it lunged down to crush her head like a melon. Her eyes closed, breath getting caught in her throat as she felt a fang graze across her cheek and draw blood, but then it stopped.

Something wet went across her face, making her realize that she was still alive.

Her eyes fluttered open and her vision stared up at a blue sky with no obstructions. Her paw swiped at her muzzle to find what it was that had dropped onto her. Her fingers pulled away, dabbed with blood, finally realizing what happened. The hostile was on its back just to her side, a hole in its head leaking crimson fluid profusely onto the grass.

She hastily picked herself up and quickly looked around. Hostiles continued to rise from the vegetation all around them; there seemed to be no end.

"Bree!" came a hard voice to her side. Blizzard crashed his foot solidly into a beast's chest while he dispatched another with a swift elbow right into its nose. He was bleeding everywhere; deep cuts and scratches were all over his chest and back, completely shredding his shirt.

Remembering her place she turned back around and got ready for others to come. Her Alpha relied on her defending his rear, just as she depended on him doing the same.

Her paws began to throw out spears and blades of force just as before, finding new vigor. Her newfound strength allowed her to decapitate and dismember a few of the hostiles while running others completely through, but she felt weakness set in again.
