In the silent darkness of the murky sea water I floated. The deep rumbling of waves constantly throwing themselves at the rocks was more of a feeling than a sound. Apart from some lonely bubbles that escaped to the surface now and then, the ocean was imposing its muting silence upon everything that it covered. Two universes expand from our existence. One is the cold and distant aether of the skies above us and the other one is the dense and powerful vastness of the oceans. Both spheres contain mysteries uncounted and wonders yet undiscovered and a million lifetimes would not suffice to unveil them all.
Suddenly, movement. A green twinkle, faint and far away. I pulled myself through the water with my paws and gained speed by whipping my tail once or twice. My body was sliding through millions of tiny dots, glittering like stars. There it was again, a green glow ahead, and it called me. My paws moved on their own, my eyes stared at the blurry light and then my vision was clear all of a sudden. The green light pushed away the darkness and in its center a green stone floated. Slowly I was sliding through the water and with the last momentum I was close enough. My paw reached out, my eyes saw nothing but green light and I felt the stone touch my palm - it was warm. Heat. Immense heat and fire everywhere. The heart of the sun. Everything is glowing, flying, passing by. White, to yellow, to orange. Turbulences and whirls. Breaking through the surface. Leaving forever. Through nothing. Through pale blue, getting thicker. Touching green. Growing, expanding, reaching for the skies. Hurt, flows like honey. Not moving anymore. Trapped and confined. Covered under sand and water and resting. Waiting. Forever and then, rising slowly. Touched. Found. Came home.
