Prologue
Battling.......all great stories start with the main character in an epic battle. Clad in a sky blue tunic and tan pants, a lone swordsman on his scarlet haired gargantuan horse. Standing before the duo was a monstrosity with a weird redddish-black substance swirling around it. This swordsman was called by many as Link, as he heard a feminine voice clarify what he was looking at. "Ganon......he was born out of a dark past......the embodiment of an evil that's been revived time and time again.......this form before you was born out of a refusal to give up on revival." A bow of golden light appeared between the both of them. " Consider this a tool to banish him, use it Link!" The voice belonged to none other than Princess Zelda of Hyrule. Something about her voice seemed off, but she was holding Ganon in place for a century; who could blame her?
All that mattered now was stopping Ganon for good. Racing towards the dark beast, Link retrieved the bow as it descended from the sky, his horse taking a sharp right to avoid a beam of destructive energy that had expelled from it's mouth. The substance that had coated Ganon was known as Malice, an evil that has possibly existed since the dawn of time. Malice was indestructible and with Ganon covered entirely in it, he was effectively invincible. "I can open weak points for you." Zelda declared as circles of a holy light appeared on Ganon's body. He raised the bow, and prepared a shot only for a multitude of red lasers to point at him. He knew where they were coming from, as he saw the six legged automatons marching to help their new master. Guardian Stalkers as they were called, they were created millennia ago as a means to combat Ganon, now they were possessed by his power and reprogramed to attack anyone they see.
"Aw come on!" Link exclaimed, now forced to turn his attention towards the Guardians that were coming his way. Ready to fire a light arrow, he saw a bluish white laser come from the northwest, obliterating the Guardians that were coming his way. Surprised by what he saw, Link noticed the quartet of machinations, the Divine Beasts, redirecting their attention from Hyrule Castle to the field where Link and Ganon were fighting, attacking the Guardians that were ready to kill Link. "We'll keep the Guardians off your back, little guy!" A gruff voice declared from the northeast. "Get ready to roll and pummel Ganon!" Smiling, Link and his horse turned around back towards the dark beast. He could hear a clammer from the east, cheering him on as he charged forward. He didn't have to turn to see he knew. To the east lies the fish like Zoras of Zora's Domain. Link couldn't hear them clearly, but he knew what they were declaring. Stop Ganon, bring peace to Hyrule, avenge their princess, blah blah blah. To think they could've had a future together, but no matter.
The future was what now mattered, as Link saw a ring of light and Ganon roared.........with a surprisingly feminine voice, "Link, get up!"
"What?"
"Oh, don't tell me you're dreaming again.....here, let me help you get out of bed, sleepy." Before Link could react, he was suddenly frozen in place, as Ganon's mouth opened and another laser beam was expelled, turning Link into nothing.....
