Fredbear and Friends Easter
Fredbear and Spring Bonnie where relaxing back stage when the manager walked into the room with a smile "hey guys" he said "I've got big news for you!"
The two looked over to him, interested.
"Bonnet is coming back to play as the Easter Bunny!"
Spring Bonnie dropped the basket he was carrying he stuttered "W-b-but I wanted to play the Easter bunny, I always do!"
The manager, while looking away now, replied "Well, it would seem that some kids became convinced that you _are _ the Easter bunny"
"Bonnie" Fredbear said, turning to face him, trying to tell if he's mad, theirs a few subtle differences between his happy, built in smile and his mad, improvised... Face. "Calm down"
Spring Bonnie kicked the basket, the light, wicker construction flying across the room with a loud crack and he stormed out the room.
"Fredbear, could you talk to him?" The manager asked.
Fredbear nodded "Yeah, in a few minutes"
The manager left. Fredbear walked over and sat down "Spring Bonnie... Why do you have to be so... Difficult..."
Fredbear looked at Spring Bonnie's little Dresser and mirror, Fredbear didn't get one of these, just a box with spare hats and ties, even a few spare mismatched eyes, but Spring Bonnie got a lot, he must really care about how he looks. A brightly colored pamphlet caught Fredbear's attention and he gave it a quick look over, reading the title _"Our Top 10 Broadway P_lays" before skimming a few. "No wonder you want to be in the lead when you can" he said to himself "
...
After rushing out of the room, Spring Bonnie didn't know where to go, he just rushed down the halls, eventually going through a door labeled "Safe Room. EMPLOYEES ONLY"
The room was dimly lit, not very well kept up and had a pile of half a dozen or so cassette tapes. Spring Bonnie found the room oddly calming, he's been here many times before, he doesn't like coming here when her doesn't have to, but right now, it's the only place he can relax.
After a few minutes, Spring Bonnie heard a soft giggle. He stood up "Hello?" he asked "who's there?"
There was another giggle, so soft and high, it's the exact opposite of Fredbear's deep, slow laugh. "This room is for employees only" he said "Are you lost, do you need help finding your way out?"
There was suddenly a knock at the door "Hey, Bonnie, are you in there?"
"Yes" Spring Bonnie replied.
Fredbear opened the door, taking a step in "Would you come out, I don't like this room"
Spring Bonnie nodded and started for the door "Hey, did I hear you laugh?" he asked.
Fredbear shook his head "What did it sound like?"
"High and soft, like bonnet, but more of a laugh like yours than like her giggle" he explained.
Fredbear thought to himself "I don't know who that could be" he replied "should we ask the manager?"
Spring Bonnie shook his head "No, he never takes us seriously"
While walking past the managers office, he opened the door "Funny running into you two here" he said "I wanted to tell you something else"
Fredbear and Spring Bonnie turned to pay attention
"We are also getting two totally new friends coming here full time!" The manager said, sounding actually excited.
The two also became excited, both asking "Who are they?"
"One is a brown bear named Freddy" the manager replied "The other is a puppet designed to help keep the kids safe"
The pair smiled and nodded "Okay, so when will they be here?"
"Freddy, the puppet and Bonnet will all be here early Friday" he replied "We will be closed Sunday and will only be open for an hour or so on Saturday"
The pair nodded and continued to the show stage, than back to the backstage room.
After a few days, the manager came with three crates being pushed behind him "You've met Bonnet" he said, opening her crate, she hoped out and hugged Spring Bonnie, who was reluctant to hug back.
The manager continued to the next crate, opening the side to reveal a white box with a red stripe "This was stupid, why would they put a box in a box?" he started pulling on the box, it slowly slipped out, he opened the lid. A slender, dark figure with a white face slowly stood up and out of he box, the hollow black eyes and smile connected with purple tears, making it difficult to tell a single, real emotion.
"You guys, help me push this box into place in a minute, okay?" he said, going over to the finial box "Now, I'm really excited for this one!" he quickly opened the crate, a tall, brown bear opened his eyes and stepped out with a wave.
After pushing the puppets box near the door, Freddy stopped and started walking for the kitchen.
"Hey, Freddy" Said Fredbear "want to come over so I can introduce you"
Freddy stopped, hearing his voice, but shook his head "I have to start my cake" before continuing to the kitchen.
"Whats with him?" Fredbear asked the manager.
"His programming is to make and serve cake" The manager said.
Fredbear interrupted, questioning "Cake as a dessert after pizza?"
The manager nodded "Yeah, the kids don't seem to mind though"
While Fredbear and the manager debated weather or not cake should follow up on pizza, Spring Bonnie tried to strike up a conversation with the puppet.
The puppet shyly waved, before hiding in his box.
"I just want to say hi is all, no need to be afraid" Spring Bonnie said.
The puppet peeked from it's box, waving again.
"Listed Fredbear, this is my diner, if I want cake in it, it's getting cake" said the manager "And if I want pineapple as an option on the pizza, guess whats gonna be an option!?"
Fredbear really had no say in the matter, he may be the mascot, but he cant just quit either.
"Okay, now everyone take your places, we are about to open!"
After a few minutes, kids where rushing into the building, everyone excited to meet their new friends. Fredbear, despite being in a bad mood, was cheered up to see the children still coming to say good morning to him, however, he couldn't help but notice a lot kids taking interest in Freddy.
The kids took their seats and the pizza was served, Fredbear and Spring Bonnie started their song and Freddy got back to making cake.
When Freddy's first cakes came from the oven, half a dozen of the kids jumped up in the middle of a show and rushed over to ask for some.
Freddy carefully carried out the Easter themed cakes, he smiled seeing the kids rush over. "Hey there kids" he said "who wants cake!" They all cheered, Freddy happily cut and served cake.
After their first show, Fredbear went backstage to talk to Bonnet. "Hey, tomorrows your big day, feeling ready?" he asked.
Bonnet, nervously turned to face him "i-I think so" she said "I've never had such a big part"
Fredbear laughed a little "Don't worry, I'm sure you'll do fine" he replied before asking "Are you into things like saying break a leg before a play instead of good luck because thats bad luck?"
Bonnet nodded "Yeah... I kinda want Spring Bonnie to give me a good luck kiss"
Fredbear perked up, surprised and interested "Want me to ask him to or something?"
Bonnet shook her head "I'll talk to him later today"
"Thats okay" Fredbear replied, hearing a kid ask Spring Bonnie for him "looks like I gotta get going, goo.... Break a leg!" he jogged out onto stage.
Spring Bonnie looked to Fredbear than back to the kid "Here he is!" before hopping off stage and walking towards Freddy to see he'll talk yet. "Hey Freddy" he said with a wave.
"Hey there" he nodded back, his hands full with a plate of cake, more kids rushing over to enjoy.
"looks like you got your hands full" Spring Bonnie replied "need any help?"
Freddy shook his head "no, I'm not making any more cake until our 5:30 pm rush"
Spring Bonnie was surprised he knew about the exact time that they can expect kids. "How did you know the exact time of our rushes?" he asked.
Freddy put the empty plate down and put his hands on his hips, sounding proud "I was made and programmed with only the most state-of-the-art technology"
Spring Bonnie nodded "Ours is a little more out of date, but we are built to last!" he replied, giving himself a confident little punch, making one of his locks recoil, sending a sharp twitch through his body.
"What was that!?" Freddy exclaimed, nearly jumping back.
"you don't know?" Spring Bonnie questioned "I can't say in front of the kids, so come ask me after closing, ok?"
Freddy nodded, still a little on edge.
Spring Bonnie hopped back to the stage, to see Fredbear sitting down, looking very upset, and not a single kid listening to or watching him. "Whats wrong Fredbear?" he asked, taking a seat.
Fredbear sighed "Freddy is getting all of the attention" he replied "I don't like him"
Spring Bonnie chuckled "I think he's cool... The kids are just excited to see a new friend, don't worry"
Fredbear nodded "Maybe your right..."
A few hours passed, Spring Bonnie and Fredbear played about half as many songs and plays as normal because Freddy is getting the attention.
It was time to send the kids along home, Spring Bonnie and Fredbear didn't even get to be by the doors, the puppet handled them, now they where both in a bad mood.
The manager locked the doors "Excellent first day guys" he said "Now, tomorrow is a big day!"
Freddy started making his way to the stage, Fredbear whispered to Spring Bonnie "tell him I had to go backstage to fix something and I can't talk" before rushing back stage.
"Where did he go in such a hurry?" Freddy asked, a little surprised.
Spring Bonnie glanced to the door leading backstage "Oh, he had to fix something and can't talk"
Freddy nodded "Fair enough... So, care to show me around your little establishment?"
Spring Bonnie jumped up "I'd be happy to!"
They started their walk, Freddy had a question "Hey, what year where you made?"
Spring Bonnie thought for a moment before replying "1975... And you?"
"This year" Freddy said "1984" before asking another question "I've heard about the bite that happened here last year, the summer of '83, how did you guys stay open?"
Spring Bonnie looked to make sure Fredbear wouldn't hear them "Don't mention the bite to Fredbear" he said "We had to shut down for a month, change our logo and pizzeria name" He made a sound that mimics someone clearing their throat before continuing his explanation "We where Fredbear's Family Diner, but now we are called Fredbear and Friends, but we still, by habit, sometimes call it our original name"
Freddy nodded again, with no more questions for now, he let Spring Bonnie finish showing him around.
The rest of the night was pretty uneventful until early in the morning.
Bonnet, with basket and plastic Easter eggs in hand, set out to hide them, she didn't want to distract Spring Bonnie right now, besides, she isn't due to do any talking yet for a few hours.
She counted the eggs as she hid them, the last one was number 50 She headed back to the door and set out the two dozen baskets for the kids to grab as they opened.
She headed back to the show stage, where Spring Bonnie was just coming out from backstage. "Good morning, Bonnet" he said.
"Good morning" she shyly replied.
"Have you hidden the eggs?" he asked. She nodded. "Do you know your lines?" he asked.
She nodded before saying "um, could you maybe give me a good luck kiss?"
Spring Bonnie's eyes shot open from their resting position "y-you want a kiss... From me?" he questioned "am I hearing this right?"
Bonnet nodded "yeah, you had no trouble kissing me for Valentines day"
Spring Bonnie sighed "That was for a play"
"Are you saying you don't like me?" Bonnet asked.
A plan came to Spring Bonnie's head. "why, yes I like you!" he replied, about to step down, he set off a spring lock. He jumped back "Ouch!" he shouted.
"Oh my, are you okay!?" Bonnet questioned quickly.
Spring Bonnie nodded "Yeah, I'll be fine, I've just been having bad luck all day"
Bonnet took a step back "m-maybe you shouldn't" she said "you might give me bad luck"
While fake limping to go backstage, Spring Bonnie said "If you think thats whats best, than good luck, Bonnet" he shut the door behind him so she wouldn't protest him saying the wrong thing.
Bonnet waited for the doors to open and the kids to rush in, she counted 23 of them. "Good morning kids!" she cheered "My name is Bonnet and the Easter bunny asked me to help him hide some eggs here, so how about we make a bit of a competition over it!?" she handed out the baskets, continuing "we have an hour to find as many eggs as you can, whoever has the most gets a prize... A massive 15% off your next party and Freddy's special Easter cake to take home with you!"
The kids cheered, about to run around for eggs.
"There are a few rules though... First, the normal rules for safety, number 4 is very important, but I must add, no fighting over eggs and no taking eggs from someones basket!" she looked the eager kids over "Now, go find those eggs!"
The kids collectively cheered, running in different directions.
Bonnet smiled and headed to the kitchen "Hey Freddy, hows the cake coming?"
Freddy nodded "great, it'll be ready after you count the eggs!"
"Fantastic!" Bonnet replied, walking over to the puppets box, giving a little knock on it.
The puppet looked out.
"Have you handed out the bracelets?" she asked.
The puppet nodded, taking the extra bracelet and basket, placing the bracelet into the basket with a note reading For you to enjoy ;)
"Very good, all is going according to plan"
It didn't feel very long with everyone having so much fun, but the hour was up. "Alright kids" bonnet shouted "Times UP!"
Bonnet counted the kids rushed it, they where all accounted for "Okay kids, leave your baskets here on the table and I'll count the eggs while you watch Fredbear and Spring Bonnie preform their Easter play!"
It took a while to count the eggs, but Bonnet came to a definite winner, with 20 plastic eggs, was a young girl named Susie.
The kids all rushed back to the table, taking their baskets. "before I announce the winner" Bonnet said "I want to tell you that your eggs are filled with chocolate, so even if you didn't win, you still get a prize"
The kids that didn't do so well cheered up a bit hearing that.
"So the winner, with an outstanding 20 eggs is..." Bonnet paused for dramatic effect "Susie!"
The young girl excitedly cheered, jumping on the spot as Freddy came out of the kitchen with the cake "So wheres our winner!?" he asked.
Susie waved at Freddy "Over here!"
Freddy happily headed over, shaking her little hand "Congratulations!" he said, handing over the cake as her mom approached to help her.
Bonnet walked up to Freddy, Susie and her mother to take a picture of the three.
Fredbear looked over to Spring Bonnie "Why isn't that me getting in that picture!?" he questioned.
Spring Bonnie shook his head "goodness... It's always been us in the pictures... But I guess it's only fair that the newbie gets in one"
With a sigh, Fredbear replied "I guess... But he better not get used to it..."
After that, Fredbear and Spring Bonnie got to congratulate her and say good bye as it was time to close.
After all of the kids where out of the building, Fredbear went to talk to Freddy "Hey, great job with the cake there"
"Oh, thank you, Fredbear" Freddy replied.
Fredbear, with a stern voice, questioned "you where pretty eager to get in that picture there, whats up with that?"
Freddy, walking past him, motioning for Fredbear to join him "I don't like handing around the full cake too much... Theres too big of a chance that it will be dropped"
Fredbear, a little skeptical still, nodded "yeah, alright"
After that, Fredbear decided to try and avoid Freddy.
Easter came and went, it's now late in the day after Easter, Bonnet is getting ready to leave.
She approaches Spring Bonnie, asking "Could I maybe get a kiss for a safe trip?"
Spring Bonnie sighs "I'll give you a hug... Deal or no deal?"
Bonnet excitedly nods and gives him a tight hug, Spring Bonnie carelessly hugs back. "Hopefully I'll see you later" Bonnet says, letting him go.
He nods "Yeah, hopefully so" while thinking to himself how great it would be if he never saw her again.
After that, Bonnet was put in crate and sent back to the warehouse.
