Whispering Twins (Part 19)

Fashionably late, but I've been really struggling with writers block, and confused as hell as to where I am going but with your guys support I've slowly been getting back into it. I really wanna wrap up their school year and I keep getting all confused (I think it's May in the story?) But I think there's something I can do to help make the last of the school year at least interesting!
Anyway, as per usual, fill free to comment below (I love comments!!!) Fill free to like, fave, or watch
I'm sorry this took soooooo damn long to finish I do hope to get better at keeping up and working on this so you guys don't have to wait so ghastly long for the next part.
Edit:
Also, this part marks 200 pages! That's right 200 pages on a google document AND a 1 year anniversary of working on this story (Belated anniversary, was actually back in May)
This makes Whispering Twins
1) my longest story
2) the story I've worked on the longest!
Zay waited until both vixens left his room, and sat on his bed. With his brows knit, ears back, and chest heavy. With his arms on his knees he leaned over, slumping with a sigh. 'Last night was hell, practice was lovely... Come home and my rooms trashed...' He rose his hands, rubbing over his face with a groan, 'Fuck... The only good thing that's happened lately is finally getting to date Zayra... I even got to coat her in cum. I jizzed on my sister and it was hot as fuck!'
He rose his right hand over his head to stroke his tuft and mane on the back of his neck, left paw falling to hang between his knees, 'Moms right though, dad has seemed stressed lately.' Slowly he stood, looking down the hall from his room, seeing Henry's leg still over the arm of the couch. His ears flattened, 'But I really don't want to talk to him...'
Henry's leg shifted, a snort and groan coming from down the hall.
A shudder raced up his spine and he backed up, 'I don't wanna start another argument. Not with Zayra around, it'll scare her... God, listen to me. I'm afraid of leaving my room!'
"Mary? Zayra..." Henry asked gently. "Mary, can we talk? I don't remember much but I know we argued. I-"
"You need to talk to your son first," Mary said coldly. "And pick his things up off the front lawn."
"His... things on the lawn," Henry questioned.
"Yes, including his tuxedo we gave him. Go clean up the mess you made while drunk, then talk to Zay. Then you can come apologize to Zayra," Mary sure didn't seem happy, but she refrained from raising her voice.
There was a pause, only the sounds of breathing and cooking in the kitchen.
Then a floorboard creaked, and Zay backed up from his door, 'Uh, quick, act natural!' He glanced around his room, the smell of Henry's sweat, and alcohol reaching his nose. He stepped over to his bed, picking up his dirty clothes and tossing them in his hamper, picking through his jeans for his wallet and phone.
His fur prickled as he felt eyes on him, ears flipping back as he felt the burning stare on his shirtless form.
"Zay," Henry said, somewhat softly.
'Don't sound too pissy, don't sound super pissed off just say...' He took a breath, "What.." He flinched a little internally, 'Came out rougher than I meant.' He turned a little, glancing over his shoulder as Henry stepped into his room. His whiskers suddenly twitching, remembering Henrys small blue cock on Zayras tail.
"Well.. um... Your mother said to talk to you... I'm assuming about the alcohol I found on your nightstand..." He sounded less confident to start, but quickly became so. Even crossing his arms over his saggy chest.
His tail twitched, tossing his jeans in his hamper and turning, "You mean the alcohol you spilt all over Zayras floor while naked? The same alcohol I took from you to keep you from continuing to drink and set on my nightstand because I was too damn tired to bother putting it away? Since it was like two thirty in the morning and I had practice at six."
Henry's confidence seemed to pass, "Oh... I wondered why I woke up naked..."
Heat vibrated across his shoulders, "'Oh'? That's it? 'Oh'?!" He felt the fur of his shoulders rise, a growl tearing through his throat. 'Who the fuck does he think he is?! How dare he just say 'oh' to all that like it'll make it all better!'
"You were drunk, dancing naked in front of Zayra! I tried to lock you in your room and you started grinding on me! Then you had to put your little dick all over Zayras tail! You're lucky I held back at all cuz it sure as hell was tempting to do more than knock you out!" His voice rose, yelling and snarling between growls. Eyes closed as he pictured Henry pulling her close again. Tears welling in his eyes as Henry, suddenly turned into Gerald. Sparking memories of the dreams.
With a whine he turned his head, flinching as Gerald forced his knot into Zayra. Shaking his head as he opened his eyes again.
Henry's mouth fell open, blinking and suddenly searching for his tongue, "I.. I did what?"
"Get out of my room!"
"Zay quit yelling," Mary hollered from the kitchen. "Henry, go pick up the lawn!"
Henry backed up, ears back and stepping out.
Zay slammed his door, sitting in front of it with a sigh. 'That could have gone a hell of a lot better.' He pulled up his knees, sighing heavily as his arms wrapped around his legs, 'Why did Gerald show up...? I thought I was done with him, why do I have to be haunted by him?' He felt a pang in his forehead, lifting a paw to rub his temples, "Ehh... Great.." He crawled across his floor under his bed, sighing as he nestledown in the darkness. With a yawn his eyes started to close, 'God I'm tired... Maybe after a short nap me and Dad can talk better. Even though I don't care, it's not like we can just forget what he did.'
With his head on the floor his eyes drifted close, sighing through his nose as he purred, 'I came on her... I coated her in cum... Not just any cum, mine.' A smile crossed his lips, tongue licking over his whiskers. 'Can't remember when I last licked cum off anyone. At least a year.' His eyes closed with a sigh in the darkness, 'She was amazing.'
As he laid there he imagined Zayra under him, her paws around his length while he thrusted into her. He remembered her moans, her sweet aroused gasps. He laid his cheek against his carpet, 'God I could never ask for a better sister.'
"Zay dinner," Mary called from the kitchen.
He groaned and crawled out from under the bed, he made sure to pull on a clean shirt before he trotted down to the kitchen and sat at the table. Seated by his sister he glanced over at her.
She stirred her bowl together, macaroni and cheese, with baked beans and cut up chunks of hot dog. Clearly Zayra had picked out dinner, and it was her favorite meal, had been since they were little. Her cheeks were fit to burst with food, noisily gumming on her mouthful, some of the cheese and bean juices on her lips.
His tail shifted and wrapped around hers as he began to stir his own together. He did not raise his eyes from his food, knowing without a glance that Henrys eyes were on him. He turned his head to glance at Mary who sat across from Zayra. Careful to note how she did not look happy.
Outwardly Mary was calm, her red eyes on her food as she used her fork to gather some bright macaroni and a bite of hot dog. Her other paw was not on the table, likely in her lap instead. She bore no smile, a perfectly straight face, not even her small smile when she was at rest. She was not happy, but was also not allowing it to show how mad she really was.
No one said anything, just the wet sound of the macaroni and cheese, with the occasional clink of silverware on the bowls. The fan above the stove had been forgotten about so it filled the room with a constant whirring. The occasional rush of a car outside on the street.
Though she seemed okay at the start of dinner, two bowls down Zayra grew depressed. She poked at her food, ears back and tail still. She just stirred and watched it all move around, her cherry red eyes dark, with tears welled up at the corners.
'I have to do something,' Zay thought, his teeth grazing his inner lip as he stared deep into his mac and cheese mess. 'Okay... I'm just going to apologize... Maybe it'll help.' He took a breath and let go of his spoon. His paws in his lap as he felt his head feel heavy. He didn't want to look up, to meet Henry's glare. His paws shook and he rose his nose a bit, enough that be could look up and stare at Henrys blue nose without meeting his eyes. "Um... D-Dad... I..."
The air felt like it was heavy, the clink-ing of silverware had stopped. All eyes on him.
He took another breath, his eyes lowered and closed as he let it out, "I'm sorry... F-for knocking you out... While you were drunk..." His heart raced in his chest, beating against his ribs as heat crossed his face and made his ears burn.
There was a thump under the far side of the table and Henry grumbled, then let out a breath, "I'm sorry too. I shouldn't be so hard on you about... stuff..."
He rose his head and turned to Mary who let out a breath, 'Well she looks better already...' He turned to Zayra who turned to him, 'So does she... Thats all that really matters to me.' His tail wiggled between them as he tightened the curl and rose a paw to continue dinner.
Zayra woke up to her alarm, a paw padded around in search of it. The beeps rose in pitch to screech at her until she found the phone and tapped the red button. She rolled a bit and groaned, her paw on the bed as she faced the wall. She pouted, lips twisted down as she imagined Zay asleep beside her, or perhaps just beginning to awaken. Her paw rose just to touch the face of her imaginary brother.
Her chest filled with cotton, the soft, overstuffed cavity began to ache. 'Wow... Never thought I'd feel this way thinking of Zay.' She rolled over and put her feet on the floor, blanket tossed away. Her left paw rose from her lap and touched over her stomach, memories in her head began to play.
His hot musky body over her, his paw on hers to teach her. His deep moans by her ear, the thrusts of his hips into her paws. The sound of her name, half whimpered as the hard fleshy length throbbed in her paws. Then the feel of his hot cum as it dumped over her fur that soaked it up. Her tongue on her fingers as they slurped up the mess like greedy animals.
A shudder raced through her and she rubbed her eyes, 'That's the weirdest thing I've ever done. That's the most sexual thing I've ever done, and I did it with my own brother!' Her eyes fell to her claws and she picked at them, the paint cracked and peeled a bit. 'I'll have to repaint my claws after my shower...'
Her door opened and she turned to face it, smiling as Zay hung in.
"Morning sis," he stated, "Hurry up and get ready for church, Moms got breakfast waiting, and dad said something about going to grandmas after church."
She nodded, "O-okay." She saw him pull back from the door and she popped to her feet, "Zay wait!"
He stepped through her door, ears up and head tilted, still half in the hallway, "What's up?" He had a brow raised, eyes on her.
She felt her mind blank, 'I really don't know why I stopped him...' She lowered her head, paws up as she fidgeted, "Erm... I don't remember..."
He smiled and started across the room, his tail brushed the door shut behind him. With both paws he rose her face to his, nuzzling their noses together, "Yah sure?"
Her heart raced in her chest, heat on her face, burning her ears with blush. Her crotch ached and burned with desire, causing her legs to squirm in need. "Z-Zay... I uh..." Her eyes widened as his lips pressed to hers, then she smiled and gripped his shirt with her paws. Pulling herself closer she stood on her toes. With her head tilted she pressed further into the kiss, though her body felt like she was liquefying under his touch.
His paws pet up her hips to her back, his right paw lowered to her butt to grope a cheek, while the other rose to about her shoulder blades to keep her close. His mouth was hot, his broad tongue slipped against hers then shifted into a soft curl as it began to retreat only to fill her mouth again. He sighed through his nose, tickling her whiskers.
Their fangs clacked a bit, teeth grazed over lips, sweet hushed moans into the others mouth.
Zayra felt him pull away and she purred, paws clasped on his shirt, "I think I remember now."
He smiled down at her, pulling her close to press their groins together, "And what were you gonna say?"
She blushed, the lavender of her ears dark, "W-will you give me my pill?" She gazed up at him, eyes wide and sad, her bottom lip trembling, "Please?"
The bulge of his jeans throbbed, "Of course sis." He pet her cheek with a thumb, "Now put those weapons away."
She giggled and closed her eyes as she smiled, "Dankies Zay."
He stepped back and started out of her room, "Hey, this is what big brothers are for." He snickered a bit as he stepped into the hall.
She cocked her head a bit, 'Pretty sure big brothers aren't supposed to have steamy kisses with their sisters. Not that I'm complaining.' She gathered up some decent clothes for church and padded down the hall toward the bathroom. She closed the door and wiggled out of her sleep clothes. She turned on the water, bent over to test the temperature, then remembered Zay was suppose to bring her her pill. She stood and yanked a towel around herself, 'Crap! I just asked for it too!'
Almost as if he'd known, the door opened and he stepped through quickly. Hesitating as his eyes caught her panties on the floor. He smirked as he shut the door behind him, purring lightly. He was eyeing her hungrily, a paw grasping the small of her back to pull her close. With his nose by her ear he whispered in a hushed tone, "Did you wanna show me something? Or did you forget I was coming?"
Zayra blushed, ears scorching hot as she stammered, "I er... F-forgot..." She clung to her grey towel, knees pressed together as the heat between her legs boiled. She was naked, he was close and clearly aroused.
He rose his other paw and brushed a finger over her jaw to lift her nose, "Such a forgetful little sister... Maybe I should make sure you take your meds, hate to have you making every guy around horny with your scent." He tossed the pill in his mouth, "Since your mine now anyway."
She felt her heart quiver, his tone had darkened, a gleam in his eyes that made her want to cower in fear, but made the heat between her legs ache. She could feel her folds twitch, the warmth of her arousal fluids soaking the fur between her thighs. "Z-Zay..." Her eyes widened as his head tilted and his whiskers brushed over hers, the warmth of his tongue in her mouth.
The pill was bitter on her tongue, but his saliva was sweet and made her tongue tingle in pleasure. Her body shifted closer to him, pressing her chest to his and stand on her toes. 'I feel so weak, but I just want more! I hate being in heat...' She felt him pull away, and she took advantage of the build up of saliva to swallow the little pill. Her mouth gaped as she panted quietly, "Z-Zay... M-more."
He hushed her, "Mom and dad are downstairs..." He lead her back into his mouth, purring over her tongue as he lowered his paws to her toweled butt. His claws on the fabric, massaging the flesh underneath, gently lifting it up.
She gripped his shirt tighter, her tongue past her teeth, a string of saliva connecting them. A whimper escaped her as she felt his large paws grope the fur of her rump. 'Oh god... H-he's touching me! His hands are so big.' Her paws danced on the floor as he pressed his bulging crotch against her, her mouth welcomed him back in.
Her skin crawled, a bursting heat in her chest that made every end of her tickle. Her paws rose and her claws raked at the fur of the back of his neck. With her eyes closed she could ignore all that existed, except her and him. The rush of the water faded, drowned by the sound of her beating heart and the hushed moans. His breath filled her lungs and made her quiver, an itch in her hips that willed her to push her hips into his.
He rose a paw and the towel fell away down her body, gaining him a surprised gasp from her lips. Slowly his paw returned, claws raking through the fur of her back up to her shoulders, the other squeezed her flesh. His body shifted down and he turned, pushing her against the wall, lifting her left leg up against his thigh. He broke the kiss again, panting into her mouth, "Zayra..."
She looked up at him, unable to focus on anything accept his red eyes that made her ache. Her body felt cold against the heat that seemed to roll off him. Trembling as he slipped his paw from behind her and up her side. Powerless she was pulled into another kiss, her paws on his back and neck. She could feel him, his paw as it climbed her side and his upper body shift to her left. Heat burned her face as his fingers pet up her ribs.
His large paw cupped the underside of her breast first, then he rose it to brush a thumb over her dark nipple that was hard as a pebble. He broke the kiss, and murred against her cheek. His body hard on hers against the wall.
She leaned and pressed her head against his, purring into his neck. Her paws pulled at him, her leg rubbing against his as their tails wrapped around each other, "Z-zay..."
He let out a long breath, pulling his head back and his ears darkened in an instant, "Ohh shit..." His eyes fell down her front, paw groping her breast.
Her eyes followed his and she squeaked. Her paws flying to cover her breasts, one dropping down to cup over her mound, "Z-Zay...!"
He rolled his eyes and gently shoved her arms away, "Relax would yah?" His paws stroked her sides and up to her breasts. Musing to himself as his thumbs brushed over her nipples, "They're even softer than I thought."
Zayra whimpered and turned her head away, "Z-Zay we're gonna be late for church."
He grumbled, "Yeah I guess..." He rose his paws, lifted her face and pressed into another kiss, "Love you sis. Better take a quick shower before the water gets cold."
She stuck her tongue out at him, "Jerk." She heard him chuckle as he stepped through the bathroom door into the hall. She stepped into the shower and began to lather herself in shampoo, even though the water was already beginning to get cold.
Zay threw open the van door and bounced right out onto the gravel driveway. His arms up in the air as he stretched, "Man that van gets stuffy!" He put his hands on the back of his head, inhaling through his nose. He closed his eyes as he took in the chirps of birds, the rustles of leaves in the trees that swayed in the wind.
Henry stepped from the van and pushed the door shut, "Just remember to say 'Hi' to your grandmother."
Mary stepped around the van and gripped her purse straps to pull it back up to her shoulder, "Oh, looks like Xander is here too."
Zayra burst from the seat and bound toward the door, "Uncle Xander! Uncle Xander!"
Zay could already hear the booming laughter of their uncle from inside the house. That's right, he's her favorite uncle. He's always gotten us special gifts, expensive ones at that. Wonder what he'll have for us for our birthday this year. He lowered his arms and shut the side door.
The gravel beneath his paws was large river stones, packed down from years of being drove over. The driveway had an entrance on each side of the house, creating a round drive through. The house was on the side closest to the road, built of red and brown bricks a purplish sleet metal roof. The porch had windows all the way around, a pair of couches and a few chairs with enough room to set up a small card table.
Zay wiped his feet on the rugs between the front door and the main door into the house. His first step into the house was greeted by the small landing, and the darkness of the stairwell into the basement. Already he could feel his ears tickle as if cobwebs were stuck to him. He lowered them and turned to the right, up two steps into the warm kitchen.
Zayra was on the far side of the room by the large table, arms wrapped around a black colored fox. She hugged on him tightly, face pressed against his as he smiled and hugged back. "I missed you Uncle Xander!"
The fox bore purple stripes on his arms, strikingly similar to Mary but larger, and bulky. His hair was also lavender striped as Marys but trimmed shorter. His eyes were a darker more purpled red like dark cherries. His shirt was an orange and cream plaid, with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows. "It's good to see you too Zayra. You've gotten big since christmas."
Zayra giggled and pulled away, "Maybe an inch or two." She then padded around to hug their grandfather, a lavender striped male. Then their grandmother, she was more of an indigo blue color.
Zay felt eyes on him and a smile crossed his face. He lowered himself to hug their grandmother who gave him a peck on the cheek.
"Hows that girlfriend of yours doing Zay," She asked. The grey fur around her whiskers shifted as she smiled at him.
His ears drooped, "Kathy? I uh... Broke up with her. Pretty sure she was cheating on me."
"Awe, I'm sorry honey, you'll find a girl for you eventually," she stated.
"Probably after high school," their grandfather included.
Zayra sat in a chair at the table, tail wiggling under the table.
He turned tail and walked into the living room, half collapsing to the couch with a huff and head laid back on the arm. Welp, we came, we'll be here for a few hours... I just want a nap.
"Xander would you be a dear and make sure the riding lawn mower works? Greg tried it a couple days ago but it wouldn't start," Their grandmother said.
"Sure, probably just the battery from sitting all winter," the chair scooted across the floor as he stood. "Hey Zay, wanna give me a hand?"
His ears flipped back but he stood, "Yeah I'm comin'." He filed through the kitchen past the island in the middle. He was about to take a step down the stairs when he looked back at Zayra. For a moment their eyes met and he saw her smile gently. Just siblings... Until the doors close. Can't wait to bury my tongue in her mouth again.
They stepped out onto the gravel driveway, Xander leading the way toward the small pasture of tall grass and an old worn barn built into the hillside. Xander turned and looked at him, "So, hows your mom?"
"She's okay, her and dad have gotten into a few arguments lately. Dads stressing out about work and keeps taking it out on me," Zay replied.
"You're keeping Zayra out of it right? She's a little sensitive for arguing," He commented.
"Yeah, she normally hides in her room. To be honest... She's the only one who's been able to make dads bitching tolerable..."
"Don't let Henry hear you cussing, you're only fifteen."
His red eyes rolled toward the sky, "He yells at me for less."
"He's trying to be a parent," Xander said, continuing up the hill. "Even if he's maybe trying too hard..."
"Yeah well... At least you get it," Zay scoffed, hands in his pockets. "Overbearing, aggressive... Then he gets mad at me for protecting Zayra."
"At least he's trying to be a parent, he could not and be completely neglectful. One day you'll be a parent too Zay."
He rose his eyes from the grass before him, eyes on his nearly fourty years older uncle. For a moment he imagined himself trying to scold a boy for similar reasons, but the thoughts still seemed stupid for the argument. "Doubt it..."
Xander elbowed him playfully, "Awe come on, you can't tell me there isn't some chick at your school you'd wanna marry. Some cute cheerleader maybe?"
His tongue fell from his mouth, "Bunch of bratty toothpick size queens." His eyes turned away as they approached the side of the barn. His shoulders rose as he let out a quiet and frustrated groan, "So tired of being cheated on by 'em. Seems like every girl I've dated starts off cute and loyal and the moment I turn my back they're banging everyone."
"Maybe you're just going after the wrong girls?"
"Yeah maybe, tried the quieter types but they're either not able to find their tongue, or they're changing into preppy girls within a week." He turned his head down as his shoulders slumped, I just hope I can train Zayra to be different... The very thought of her throwing herself around makes my queasy.
"So you've had a run of bad luck with girls. Don't turn into me, where you're too afraid to even date. Surely there's at least one girl in your school that's not half bad." Xander put his paws on the heavy sliding door of the barn.
It made an awful noise that made Zay flinch. "Well... Maybe..."
He dusted his paws as he stepped onto the creaky floorboards of the barn, "Well? What's she like?"
"Bookworm, dorky," he said as he followed into the musty and dusty barn. The present smell of bat droppings more than apparent.
"Sounds like your sister," Xander joked. He put his hands on the riding mower, one on the fender the other on the wheel. "Gimme a hand with this thing, would yah?"
Zay rounded to the back and pushed.
Once it was out in the grass, in the sun where they could see, Xander opened the hood and poked around in it. "So, is she pretty?"
He sat on the tractor seat and put an elbow on his knee, paw in his hand, "Understatement... She's gorgeous."
"Really. Species?"
"Fox," he replied.
Xander mused a bit, "She got a name?"
Zay tapped his fingers on his chin and sigh, "Zayra..."
There was a thunk under the tractor hood, "Ow!" He leaned around, a paw on his head, "What?"
Zay smirked, and sighed, "What? You said half decent, considering how the girls are at school, Zayras pretty half decent. Even if she is my sister."
Xander grumbled, "I doubt the girls are that bad... Besides, it's only highschool, and you'll be a sophomore next year. Maybe one of the freshmen will have your interest?"
He shrugged, a yawn passing his lips as his eyes gazed into the pine woods that ran along the side of the barn to the back of the property on the other side of a field. "Maybe... Still, the girls at my school are so bad, I'd be better off with my sister. At least then I know she'll never get hurt right?"
"Zay, that's enough," Xander said. His usually polite voice had become sturn. "She's your sister... You shouldn't talk about her like that."
Zays head rose from his paw, ears splayed with a quarter head tilt. That was... Oddly defensive. I've never heard him use that tone, it's not his normal frustrated tone he uses with Henry when they disagree on something either. He dropped his hand and his ears flipped back, "Jeez it was just a joke. Chill out. Who in their right mind would date their sister. This isn't the stone age."
Xander continued to stare at him for a few moments before he returned to working on the mower.
For a long while all Zay could hear was birds, and the wind in the trees. The occasional click of Xander as he worked. His eyes wandered into the pine woods, the brown floor of old needles and a few small weeds that dared to try. The wind blew over his body, it was almost April, and it still boor a chill even through his thick fur. The sun however kept him plenty warm enough.
Xander closed the mower hood with a sigh, paws still on the old dusty green metal.
Zay perked an ear and glanced over at him as he spoke.
"Look Zay, I didn't mean to sound so cross with you. You're a good kid.... Just don't go around tellin' jokes like that to the rest of the family okay?"
"Why? It's ju-"
"Zay," his dark eyes rose and narrowed as the tone returned.
Oh... What's got him boiling so bad? Even if I mean it, it should be a light hearted joke to others. No one would assume I'd actually bang my sister, why is he so... Worried? Is that the right word for it? He lowered his head, eyes turning away with a huff, "Fine, damn..." He hopped down and they pushed the tractor back into the barn.
As they started back toward the house, Zay tucked his paws in his pants, eyes down to the grass. Am I missing something? Did it come across like I was serious? I didn't think it did... Maybe it's not me and it's him, maybe he's just touchy about jokes like that. But why?
"Zay, you alright," Xander asked with a sideways glance.
"Yeah, I'm fine. I just want to get inside and take a nap," he replied.
Their ears perked at an audible gurgle growl and Zay put a hand on his stomach, feeling it twist and rumble.
Xander laughed, "Maybe grandma's got some lunch around."
"Oh god I hope so, I'm starving," he trotted a little faster and into the house. As he padded in he could smell something cooking. He perked his ears high as he approached the old vixen at the stove, "Is that what I think it is?" He peeked over her shoulder at the soup.
The pot had mashed and cut up Zucchini, tomatoes, and she was adding in some summer squash from a bag covered in droplets of water. Zayra was at the island cutting up celery stalks with a big knife, though not an expert she was pretty quick.
Zays stomach growled again.
Grandma perked her old ears and turned to him, eyes wide, "Good lord boy was that you?"
His ears dropped back, "I'm starvin over here..."
She turned to Mary who was at the table with a handful of cards in hand, "Mary don't you feed this boy?"
She put her paws up in playful defence, "He's a bottomless pit. You should see the food he packs away at home. He had like three bowls of cereal before church."
Again Zays stomach gurgled and Grandma laughed, "I can't tell by the sound of that tummy grumbling."
He round the island and looked over Zayras shoulder as he watched her cut. Though he felt the eyes of Xander as he stood at the sink and washed his hands. He reached down and took a few pieces of cut up celery, putting them in his mouth. He squeezed between Zayra and the fridge, for a moment pressing his jeans to her tail and then he started for the living room. "I'm takin a nap, call me when foods ready."
"Zayra honey are you almost done with that celery," Grandma asked.
"Almost," she replied.
Zay plopped on the couch and leaned back, sprawled over the length of it with his head on the arm closest to the dining room. His eyes were open, staring up at the ceiling as he felt his ears splay. His hands behind his head as he let the family in the other room continue on without him.
The laughter, the cards as they slapped the table. Xanders voice as he talked to Zayra about school, asking her questions about boys and if she was dating. He rolled on the couch, glancing up to look into the room, at her face as she scooped celery trash into a pile on the little cutting board, and Xanders back.
"There's not a lot of guys at school that interest me. A lot of the decent ones are taken, and... After my ex..."
"What happened with your ex?"
"He.. He cheated on me... The whole relationship. It was only a week or so, but... Zay was right about him. I should have listened when he first said something."
"Zays not gonna be around to take care of you forever," Xander said gently.
"I know, but... When he's right, he's right. Gerald wasn't any good to start with and I should have listened to Zay when he first said Gerald was bad." She stepped away from the island, the sound of the cutting board as it was banged on the side of the trash.
"What about any other guys? Surely there's at least one in school thats half decent..." He perked his ears and turned to glance at Zay.
He tucked his head and turned away, ears back as he bit his lip. He saw me, but why do I feel so nervous. He could feel his heart thunder on the inside of his ribs, stomach in knots as it growled in hunger, but twisted unnaturally.
"I dunno, I don't know a lot of people in school like Zay does. Maybe there is, but if there is... I doubt I know him."
Well she didn't make it sound like I was in the possibilities... Then again she's not a jokester like I am. He huffed lightly and rolled to face the back of the couch, tail tossed over his feet.
"So if you could have any kind of guy, what would you look for," Xander asked.
A chair scooted, "Why so interested in her preferences Xander." Mary sounded light hearted, but there was a weird undertone.
"What? I can't ask," Xander replied.
"Zayras still a little young for dating, and... she could use a break from it after the whole Gerald fiasco."
"I'm just curious," he laughed gently, "Maybe her bar's set to high. So, Zayra, what kind of guy are you looking for?"
Oh god... What if I don't fit those preferences... Will she lie and change her preferences? If they're true, and I don't fit, will we end up breaking up!? The hunger of his stomach faded completely and he was left with a pressure that twisted in his torso.
"I dunno," she stepped through the kitchen, the sound of claws on the linolium floor. "Just someone who loves me for me."
They were quiet a moment and got back to their card game, the laughter and sound of cards on the table. Xander joined in the conversation about some family at church.
His left paw clenched as he stared at the woven fabric of the back of the couch. Love her for her... Thats what I'm doing. I don't want to make Zayra someone else, I just want to make her mine. I want to keep her safe so she always smiles, I want to do things with her that we can both enjoy. Like lovers... His ear twisted as he heard footsteps behind him, and dainty paws on his arm as she crawled over him. He smiled and scooted back, arms wrapping around her as she crawled between him and the couch.
She nuzzled into his neck and pulled up her legs. Her arms tucked against her chest as she smiled with a breath. Her tail was tossed over his legs, half curled back against his. She grasped at his hand, fingers lacing together.
He smiled and curled around her, his free hand stroking her shoulder. My sister... My twin... My girlfriend... They didn't lay their long before there was the clatter of bowls, and the wet slop of soup.
Before Grandma could speak Zayra was awake, squirming and wiggling to get over Zay. "Zay lemme up!"
"I'm not holding you, hang on-ack!" The two thumped to the floor, Zay on the bottom. "Now yer in trouble," his paws grabbed her sides, claws digging at her ribs as she squirmed and cackled.
She curled up and jerked her arms to try and block his hands as they shifted from her upper ribs and collar bones. With a pig like snorttle she keeled over beside him, "Uncle! Uncle!"
He rolled over to an elbow with a snicker, thento his feet and bound into the kitchen. Pausing mid step, "Break check!" He felt Zayra run into his back, her arms around his waist to keep from falling.
"Oof! Zay," she cried in annoyance.
Mary giggled from the table, "Alright kids, quit horsing around."
Zay stepped over to the island and grabbed a bowl, quick to fill it and snatch up a spoon before sitting at the table. His tail wiggled as Zayra sat beside him with her own very full bowl.
Most of the family was already served Grandma being the last to sit down.
Zay hesitated and put his spoon in the bowl with a huff, ears back. Dumb prayers...
Zayra stuck her paws in her lap and lowered her head as the family echoed a soft and rather quick prayer.
In the name of the father, son and holy spirit. Bless us oh lord and these our gifts, which we are about to receive, from thy bounty, through christ our lord, amen. Father, son and holy spirit, amen.
Zay picked up his spoon again and shoveled, each warm gulp hit the pit of his stomach. Coupled with the feel of Zayras tail coiled with his that made his chest feel full of cotton stuffing.
After a few bowls for each Zay washed his dish and set it in the strainer with Zayras, "I'm goin for a walk."
She perked her ears and padded from the table, "I wanna come too."
He couldn't hide the smile as he followed her out of the house and across the gravel driveway. They were still in sight of the house when he felt her fingers lace with his, tail curled up over his. He kept his voice low, "I think Uncle Xander might be curious of us..."
"What gives you that idea," she asked just as softly as her eyes turned toward him. "Was it something I said?"
"No, I think it's what I said. He asked about any half decent girl in school and I joked that it was you. He snapped at me... I've never heard him use that tone before, it was weird..."
She swayed their locked hands, "That is weird... He knew you were joking right?"
"I figured, I mean... It's not like it's natural for siblings to... Well..." His hand tightened on hers. "Not that it bothers me."
Her ears dipped and she sighed, "It... kinda bothers me, but at the same time it doesn't. Like... It's weird that we have to hide it, I don't know if anything I say could lead to it and..."
He shouldered her behind the garage and into a gravel pit. He pinned her to the back of the garage, pressing himself against her front. "Zayra... I don't want to make you feel like you have to date me... You're my sister first, and nothing will change that."
Her hands rose to his chest as she grasped his shirt, eyes staring into his, "B-but... It's only the hiding that bothers me... I don't wanna..." Her red eyes gleamed as tears welled in them, "I don't wanna mess up. I don't know what to do..."
Zay felt a breath leave his chest, one he hadn't realized he'd been holding. He pressed his nose into her neck, "I don't either... I want this to work."
Her hands tightened on his shirt, face pressed against it with a whimper. She sniffled and rubbed her tears on the fabric, "You have a boner..."
His ears perked and then flattened as the lavender darkened, "Er... S-sorry..." His jeans were uncomfortably tight, pressed against her body. "It's probably because I was in your neck... On top of what we did before church."
She sniffed and smiled as she wiped her eyes, "Maybe."
He rose his paws and brushed her face with his thumbs, holding her cheeks. With a smile he put his scarred nose to hers, "I love you sis."
Her lips pursed and she kissed his lips, "I love you too."
Zay smirked and his mouth fell open, his tongue licking up her chin, lips, whiskers, and nose.
She squeaked and pushed at his chest, "Zaaay!" She twisted her head in his grasp fruitlessly, a shudder raced through her as he licked up her snout and between her eyes. She pressed her back to the garage wall.
He could feel the texture of her fur under his tongue, but it didn't bother him in the slightest. He licked the front of her tuft and away, dropping to all fours as he darted toward the barn. "Tag yer it!" He bound over the grass, glancing over his shoulder as she bound after.
She was on all fours, several paces behind him, a large smile on her face.
He lead her into the barn and leaped up on a pile of lumber, standing as he looked around. "Man, Grandma really needs to clear out this barn..."
Zayra jumped up beside him, "I would be nice to be able to at least play in here. Doesn't help it's so old. Remember when Grandpa fell through last year?"
"Yeah, that was scary..." he replied. Then he started over toward a rickety wooden ladder. He stepped up on the second bar, the first had been broken long ago. He climbed up, tail wiggling as he did.
There was the barn was very large with an inner old tack room that was pretty well empty. The top flat for extra storage. However, there was a rug that had been laid down over about half of it, a few old glass bottles in a corner.
Zayra followed him up, far slower and was careful as she stepped onto the old boards, "So what are we gonna do?"
Zay put his back to the barn wall and crossed his arms, "I dunno." His eyes averted away as he grinned, "Could make out like two hormone fueled teens."
Her eyes narrowed, and she stuck out her tongue, "Yer such a horn ball."
He scoffed, "Hornball? Me? Please, if I was half the hornball as other guys in school, we'd have already had sex... A few times."
She stuck her tongue out, "You're still a horn ball."
Zay smirked, gazing up at down his sisters frame, "It's not like I'm pinning you to the wall and stuffing you full of dick." He softened his voice as he continued, "Granted that does sound like fun..."
"What," she asked as she perked her ears.
"Hmm? Nothing, just muttering about the weather," he replied with a smile. For a moment they fell quiet and then he sighed, stepping over and sitting on the edge of the tack room, feet out to dangle over the cluttered barn floor. "Still worried about Uncle Xander..."
She carefully sat beside him, paws in her lap, "What about him?"
"I dunno... I just can't help but think he has an inkling of us, or maybe a fear? His reaction was just..." He took a breath and laid back, looking up at the ceiling, "Weird..."
She scooted back and laid down on her side, her head on his shoulder, "But... We're okay right?"
His arm rose to caress her side while he nuzzled her head, "Far as I'm concerned, never better. Nothing and no one is going to stop me from loving you."
Zayra was silent for some time while she nuzzled into his neck. Her breath soft and gentle on his fur, her paw that grasped his shirt weakened until finally it fell limp.
He pulled away a little and looked down at her, peacefully asleep in his arms. He nuzzled into her neck and smiled, My sweet sister... The best girlfriend I could ask for.
