#1 of Personal stories

Okay time for a little backstory for this one, this story originally came out of a role-play I did. Nothing is directly lifted from the RP want more inspired by it. Right now you are reading a story set in an alternate timeline to the Lion King said in a tribal/slightly medieval universe. All the characters that you know and love are on two legs. Unless otherwise stated.

I honestly don't know if I'm going to continue this as the role-play ended abruptly, so I have maybe two maybe three more chapters of material to pull from. But who knows if you guys like this. I may post more

It was early in the morning, The sun had only risen moments ago in the sky, bathing the pride lands in its light. Nala had not yet awoken from her slumber, Nala shifted softly slightly mumbling in her sleep. Simba, however, was starting to wake up, he looked to his left and saw the sun go straight into his window, slightly blinding him a bit. He let out a loud groan said. "Okay... Okay, that's too much." He then grabbed his covers and quickly and powerfully flung them off of himself exposing his nude body to the air. He let out a sigh of relief as he could feel the steam he and Nala's body had generated over the night leave him.

He stayed still for several seconds just looking at the ceiling. He wanted to get up and start his day as King. However, the idea of moving seemed a little more than the Lion King could bear. After a few seconds of staring at the slightly off-color Brown ceiling, Simba finally mustered up the courage to get up, with a loud grunt he quickly swung his feet over the side of the bed. Feeling the cold embrace of the rock beneath touch his bare feet.

He then pushed himself up and stood up, stretching his arms over his head, making his fingertips reach for the sky. He then let out a loud yawn and began to gently rub his eyes with the back of his hands. He let out a loud groan and then pushed himself all the way up. He stood up and looked at Nala who was still sleeping, he gently brought his hand to her shoulder and just gently prodded it with his finger. Moving it through her lovely soft golden fur. His wife looked so peaceful sleeping that he didn't disturb her, truthfully Simba would happily go back, he honestly would prefer to join his wife in the bed.

As the idea of getting out and attending to his royal duties did seem like a bit much today, for some reason that Simba couldn't explain he felt lethargic, his body did not hurt but, it did not seem to have the same strength and energy as it usually had. Something felt off, something did not feel the same however what that was he wasn't sure why.

Simba shifted awkwardly on his heel a little bit still deciding whether or not he actually wanted to embrace duties for the morning, however after a second or two of doing that he finally mustered up the courage the courage to walk over to his large wooden dresser and open the two giant wooden doors. He started turning the black handle just a bit before pulling the doors open. He then took a few minutes to dress himself in his what he called casual royalty garb, a nice light blue shirt and some pants that were a mixture of green and black. He then closed the giant wooden doors, turning the handle, so they locked once again before he walked over to his door.

It was just then when Simba heard a slight knocking on the door, not too forceful but yet enough where Simba could tell by the way the knocker was tapping that there was something that needed his attention. "Sire, sire come quickly. Sire something has happened." The familiar voice of Zazu said from behind the door with just a little bit of panic in his voice though not enough panic that Simba would feel the need to grab his sword before leaving. Simba responded in a slightly formal manner. "What is happening Zazu, is the pride under attack?" He said sounding very much like the king he was. He very rarely used that voice, only for people like Zazu and the other lionesses who expected to hear the king when he talked rather than Simba.

"Well sire I will explain more on the way, it is not that we are being attacked per se but." Zazu stammered a bit not exactly sure how to describe the situation. "Well, sire it's just that... a cub has been found on the border of the pride lands." He said with his voice slightly trailing off as he didn't know exactly how to explain to Simba how the cub had been found, or even what state the poor boy was in.

Simba looked at Zazu and arched a brow before he said with a slight bit of power behind his voice."A cub? Where is this girl, how did you find her and has she said anything?" Simba said thinking it was a girl as most lions did not have very much success when birthing males, they were much rarer than females though not impossible.

"well, your Majesty see... That's something... he was found, passed out somewhere between our border and Zira's land. One of the hunting party found him and brought him here for healing." The Hornbill explained trying to just explain the situation to Simba was also slightly fearing his Majesty's wrath.

Simba looked at his advisor with an angry expression as he pulled open the door. "What is the meaning of this, bring this Cub to the Pridelands, don't the lionesses know how much danger they put us all in?!" Simba said his voice almost be getting loud enough to a roar though luckily he didn't wake his queen.

Zazu stammered and just merely backed away from the door bowing a little bit before he said. "I did not make the decision sire, he was brought here... I was only trying to inform you of what." That he was cut off by Simba growling Simba then looked to the bird with an angry scowl before he said. "Take me to him, we need to get down to business and see what has happened to him," Simba said feeling very protective of his homeland and his palace, he knew the boy was a cub but that was of no matter, he came from the outlands. He was one of her soldiers even if he was young. He could not be immediately trusted, it didn't even occur to Simba that he said that Zazu said he was passed out between the borders, and the idea of Zira ever turning on one of her own soldiers like that not even crossing his mind.

Zazu moved a little bit allowing Simba room to leave. Simba just looked at him and then started marching down the hallway with intent. Some of his lioness needs were opening up the windows to allow some light in as they saw the king marching down the hall with the look in his eyes as if he was going into battle.

Simba walked silently with purpose, Zazu walked behind him, keeping his head down. He knew Simba was not usually violent, though the presence of an outsider honestly must be taken seriously. As if the boy was a spy for Zira he could cause devastation for the Pridelands, though honestly with how bad the boy looked Zazu didn't think the Queen of the outlands trusted him with anything.

Simba walked into his main throne room, his stone throne sitting at the front of the room in all its majestic glory. But also just a few inches from the main throne there was a little lion boy in tattered rags on his knees with chains wrapped around his wrists and his feet. Simba saw three of his lioness guards holding sticks that were attached to the chains they were the ones holding the boy down. Even Simba felt this was a little bit overkill, but nevertheless, he figured if the lionesses felt even a young cub needed to be restrained in such a fashion. There was a danger.

Simba walked up to the cub, his hand hovering uncomfortably above his sword. As he got closer. Simba could definitely smell blood. He looked around and saw that one of his lioness guards had a significant gash on her cheek, which had been at least slapdashed repaired. This caused to Simba to growl, he reached his hand out and grabbed the boy by the chin. Forcing him to look at him.

The little lion boy had short, what Simba guessed was blonde hair and bright blue eyes very much like his mate. Simba scanned over his face. The boy too had cuts and bruises visible on his face. One definitely had some sort of healing salve rubbed into it. So at least his lionesses were trying to heal the boy like Zazu claimed though it made him very angry to even look at this wild boy. Viewing him as one of Zira's little soldiers.

The boy looked at Simba with his bright blue eyes and started growling. This, however, only made one of the lionesses pull on his chains a little bit and forced him into an even more compromising position instead of being straight on his knees. He was kind of now doing a version of the splits with Simba still holding onto his face.

Simba looked at the boy. His Deep brown eyes staring at him before he said. "What are you doing in the Pridelands?"
