Brother Fighting Brother part 1
After a few weeks in the medical wing Fang was back to full strenght and spent some of his days in the simulation room non-stop, each day he got stronger and stronger but he knew that even with all his strength he could not bring himself to kill his best friend, the others watched from the viewing room as he destroyed the last three targets making him beat the high score in close range combat.
"Fang you alright?"
"Yeah..."
As Fang walked out of the simulation room he failed to notice Fara was just outside the door waiting for him, she could see a look of contempt on his face and decided not to get involved as he went to the shower rooms to clean off as her head and ears slumped down feeling so helpless. She loved Fang dearly and was greatful that he was the father of their baby, as she stroked her belly she suddenly noticed Fang rushing back up to her looking embarassed.
"*huff* *huff*"
"Fang?"
"Sorry! I didn't mean to ignore you like that! *huff* I just *pant* got a lot on my mind is all."
"No it's alright really!"
Fara helped him to his feet ignoring his sweaty fur and brought his hand to her belly. The fact that Fang was going to be a father soon brought him great joy, then something amazing happend as they stared into each others eyes.
"Oh! it kicked!"
"Yeah....just hang on little one, you're almost there."
Fang gave a quick peck to his mates cheek before waving goodbye and heading off to the showers while Fara went back to the bridge to join Krystal while in the medical wing Ammy was looking at the picture of her and Tamati on their first date, it was awkard for him because on that day it was super hot and she didn't consider herself naked because of her fur but for Tamati he could barely control himself around her that day.
"*sniff* Tamati....*sobs!!*"
Fox walked by to hear her crying and soon joined the others on the bridge where they were getting reports of the aparoid infestation on the other planets, so far most of the swarms were pushed back while the others were wiped out completely leaving only the one real problem: Finding the aparoid homeworld.
"FOX!! *ZZZT* THIS IS GENERAL PEPPER!!! WE'RE UNDER ATTACK!! *ZZT* COME QUICKLY!!!"
"Falco! bring up the video footage!!"
As Falco activated the video screen images of aparoids killing soldiers and cornerians appeared on the screen and in the background they could see an black knight with glowing purple eyes leading the attack.
"Tamati....(Hold on brother...I'll bring you back) *grips sword tightly*"
"Fang?"
"Let's move out!!"
Fang only had his sights set on one goal: Bringing back Tamati. Ever since Fang welcomed him to the dragon knights Tamati actually felt like a big brother to him since he was the first to try and befriend him when he first joined the team and after he finally became a nice guy Fang and Tamati hung out with each other like two brothers would and they even fought like brothers, especially over the remote.
"We're entering the atmosphere. Fang get ready to drop!"
"Roger that."
The moment the ship cleared the atmosphere explosions rang out like thunder as the ship shook violently, the moment the hangar door opened Fang leaped out with Falco, Slippy and Fox behind him as he activated his cannons blasting away at the swarm below.
"FOR HONOOOOR!!!!"
While Fox and the others handled the skies Fang cleaved away at the aparoids surrounding him, it seemed like an easy battle until a giant mecha suit blasted at him from the side narrowly missing his body and destroying a large part of the swarm with its cannon fire.
"Who the hell?!?"
"No...."
"Forgive me Fox!!"
The general had become infected during the attack and was beyond curing as he lashed out at Fox and the others leaving Fang to the swarm, as the battle raged on Fang noticed that the swarm had stopped attacking and were clearing out and from the crowd he spotted Tamati who deactivated his helm to reveal a sinister smirk on his face that turned to a toothy grin as he unsheathed Thunder Edge.
"Hello brother...."
Fang didn't say a word as a small gust of wind blew across the battlefield and in the blink of an eye the two knights colided with monstrous force sending each other flying back and shattering their armor. Both their visors were broken and there weapons were completely disabled as they stood to face each other.
"This is it Tamati *removes armor* no guns, no armor....just you and me..."
"Fine by me *removes armor* I've always wondered how this would turn out."
