Introducing another OC of mine to the Talaverse(aka the universe that I've centered around my fursona), Honey the bunny. :3

As many had before, I was one of the ones who sensed the place of power that Tala lived on, and had wandered into it.

I was looking for a place to grow a garden that could be much more vibrant than the usual places- but no, of course it was occupied, as most places of power were. This time, however, I was welcomed in with open arms, given a quaint cabin that streamed sunlight into my bedroom the moment it peeked over the trees. They'd told me I was welcome to do anything I liked with the area behind the cabins, as long as I didn't grow anything that smelled bad.

So, of course, I planted everything I could think of.

The greenery was lush, thick; one would think it wild if they didn't see me tending it every day. Truth was, I struggled to keep up with how fast and large everything was growing. Fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs, annual and perennial flowers(even some night blooming ones)- everything was in some kind of order that only seemed to make sense to me. It didn't matter. I was at home.

Tala utilized the food I grew to make meals for all of us once a week, and I gave away all the extras we didn't use. I was a favorite at the farmer's market, trading for soaps and other handmade goods for my produce that I was told tasted better than anything else in the area.

I was proud of myself, of my hobby, of my children. I grew them; I nurtured them, and so they were my babies.

At the heart of my garden was the biggest secret. I'd acquired a magical seed for a flower I'd been told would help me in my goals, provided she'd been planted in a place of power. It was what had sent me searching for one in earnest rather than casually, and she'd grown the fastest of all. She was a large, beautiful bush, with flowers I'd never seen before blooming in vivid blues and purples. Vines snaked off of her branches, and she reminded me of a weeping willow if it was only as tall as a person and had massive, hand shaped flowers.

I call her she because she asked me to, though she has no name. I grew her, but it was not my place to give her one.

I returned to her with a bit of sugar water, pouring it around her roots and humming quietly to her. As I did, her branches swayed in time with my music. This was our routine; I took care of her, and presumably, her influence was what caused my garden to seem so overgrown. I'd never been able to get such verdant growth before.

"Honey, what is it like outside of the garden?" She asked me. Her voice was a whisper on the wind, from all sides, impossible to tell where in her body it originated.

"It's so different! There's these metal and concrete buildings that touch the sky, and metal things people ride in to get to those buildings. More immediately, if you can't sense them, there are cabins and very nice people who let me live here for free and grow this garden in exchange for food." I responded, feeling the warm glow of joy. "There's a bunch of places like that. They're called cities. Between cities are green places like this, but not nearly so well kept."

"'Free'?" She questioned, and I realized I'd never explained money.

"Well, we have to exchange this thing called money for items we can't make or grow ourselves, or the stuff we need to make those items. It's just like... paper."

She was silent for a little bit, and I realized a lot of things I said she might not know, but didn't want to ask about everything. I smiled and sat down on the ground, gently running my fingertips over one of her flowers. She shuddered, and I took that to be a good sign. "You're so beautiful. I'm so lucky to have you in my garden," I complimented, moving on to stroking her branches.

"That feels very nice," she said, and I saw her branches move closer, most within touching difference. With both of my hands, I massaged over her in the way that I massaged leaves on plants I wanted to stimulate growth; from her shuddering and the rustling of the leaves, I imagined it must have felt indescribable.

I picked up my basket from the ground, filled with the day's harvest, and stood back up. "I'm gonna go make some lunch; I'll be back later this afternoon to check on you."

"I wish I could come with you," she said, as I started to walk away.

"I know. I wish you could, too," I told her. It would be nice to show her to my friends and introduce her, but she was rooted too deep, and they didn't like coming into my garden. Strea said it was because they were sure if they wandered too deep, they'd never be seen again.

When she didn't respond, I walked away, focused more on what kind of lunch I could make with what I'd harvested today.

When I sat down outside my cabin, munching on the salad I'd ended up making for myself, Tala came over and sat down with me, carrying their own lunch. They smiled at me, glancing back behind my home. "How's the garden coming? It looks like it's doing very well."

"It is!" I rambled for a few minutes about the vegetables in particular that were getting very plump, before deciding to talk about her. "And there's this plant that I was told was magical, and if I planted it she would grow and take care of my garden and make it even better, but only if I planted her in a place of power-"

"Did you plant a dryad?" Tala joked dryly.

"I'm not sure? Maybe." I admitted.

"Well, tell me more about her."

So I did. I talked about how beautiful her flowers were, how she seemed to like when I pet her. I talked about how fast she grew and how she seemed curious about the world around me. "She told me she wishes she could come with me to see all of this." I finished, breathless, excited.

"Sounds like y'all are crushing on one another," Tala joked again, taking another bite of their food. "Well. I'm grateful to the both of you for this incredible produce you keep bringing. If she ever gets a body, she's welcome to live with us, too. I'd like a name, though."

"I'll talk to her," I promised. Maybe I could convince Tala to come meet her someday. "How's Haypenny?"

Tala's eyes glazed over, and a smile immediately lit up their face. They loved talking about the kobold that had recently come to live with us, and I enjoyed seeing how in love they were with one another. They immediately launched into the most recent cute things that Haypenny had done, including 'made a blanket fort' and 'stretched while making an adorable noise', and I half paid attention, letting my mind drift back to my plant girl. I was happy to hear Tala be happy; the details were less important.

Tala's joke started to feel less like humor the more that I considered it. Did I have a crush on her? More importantly, was Tala right that she had a crush on me? I wondered if she even had a concept of what a crush was.

Once Tala was done talking about their recent life, we parted ways; they had to get ready to go into work, and I wanted to get back to my girl.

When I went back to her, I noticed she looked different. She didn't speak to me, but rather than looking like a small tree, she looked much closer to a person. Her legs were like twin trunks, nestled into the ground, her arms branches. Flowers sprouted off of her body in certain places- the chest, the shoulders, a few in her hair...which appeared to be made of those long, weeping willow-like tresses. She had no face, just an oval shape, similar to mine. In fact, I noticed some of the branches under her hair looked somewhat like rabbit ears.

"Are you there?" I asked quietly, but received no response.

I noticed her soil was incredibly dry, and quickly grabbed my watering can. I soaked it, surprised when only a few moments later it was dry, as if I'd never touched it. I refilled my can, soaking the soil again, and including nutrients. She must be building a body for herself, and it was taking everything she could. I was going to help her if this was what she wanted.

The fertilizer for the soil went in with more of the new water, and I watched as it got soaked up as much as the first...but I saw her hair get more green, the flowers look more like their normal vibrant colors. She had been doing all of this too rapidly, and had pushed herself beyond what was healthy. Now, I was here, and could help her transition.

I touched the dirt around her roots every few moments, making sure it didn't get too dry. Every time the nutrients were too sapped, I replaced them, going through an entire bag of them in the time I sat and watched. I didn't notice the hours slip by, but I noticed the differences in her. The legs became more pronounced, until only what I assumed the feet were rooted. The arms became more arm-like, and I saw hands forming at the ends. She was becoming more like...well, like me, with every passing moment.

She seemed to stop progressing after the sun went down. I checked the soil quickly, replaced some nutrients and water, and headed back to my house to go to bed. I expected to return to continue the process the next day, around sunrise. That was when I tended to wake up on my own.

When I returned the following morning, I found that I didn't need to do anything more. She was sitting there in her area, watching a bird peck the ground a few feet away. It flew off when I approached, and she smiled at me, startlingly convincing. She didn't look exactly like me, but very close; I was the only person she had to go off of, I suppose.

"What did you do this for?" I finally was able to ask, sitting down next to her.

"I wanted to spend time with you. It seemed like this was the best way to do so." She said cheerfully.

I let my eyes wander over her body, which was naked but well formed. I decided not to question how she could change her form at will. "You're going to need a name for people to call you. And clothes like what I wear, but you should be able to fit in mine."

"What about Eden?"

"Of course of all the stories you remember, it's that one... Okay. Eden it is." I joked, and leaned forward to give her a hug. She still felt like hugging a plant, but more solid; I wasn't worried about crushing her. "Let's go get you dressed and I'll talk to Tala about if you can stay with me in my cabin."

Eden nodded, and she followed me into the main area of the compound, staring around at the buildings as she did. She'd seen or sensed them up until now only from the back, and being surrounded by them- and with them being much bigger- it was a different experience. She remained wide-eyed and fascinated as we entered into my cabin, and I explained what everything was for and how it helped me to live. She was especially interested in my bed, which I promised her was exquisite and comfortable.

After the quick tour, I opened up my wardrobe and found a pastel green sundress for her that- of course- fit her perfectly. I noticed that the only difference between her body and mine was that the breasts and hips were slightly larger, and that filled out the dress in a way I could not. I took in her appearance, and then added a sunhat to it- and felt something in my heart stop. She was beautiful. Despite being similar to me, I did not see her as a clone, and it didn't feel vain to say I found her attractive.

"What are you staring at, Honey?" She asked me, and I blushed.

"You. You look incredible," I answered truthfully.

"Well, I am made in your image," She teased, which made me blush even further. Tala's joke about Honey having a crush on me earlier flashed across my mind again.

"Oh, you. Let's go introduce you to Tala."

It was a short walk over to the cabin, and I gave a courtesy knock before opening the door. Tala insisted to all of us that they wanted us to just walk in whenever, that they loved the company, but I felt like the knock was at least a nice thing to do first. As a result, Tala knew it was me- but when they turned around and saw Eden and I, they stopped for a moment.

"Who's your lovely friend?" They asked, gesturing at the table. "Please, make yourself at home. I'll make some coffee."

"Tea would be better. This is Eden; you told me if I got her a name she could come around," I said, and made Tala do a double take. I'm not sure they expected that was going to be possible.

"Ah. Well, of course Eden is welcome. She's like your child, yes?"

"No. If I was their child, I would not be so interested in their world. Finding Honey as beautiful as I do would be wrong." Eden answered matter-of-factly. The silence that followed while I blushed and a slow grin crept on Tala's face felt like it stretched on forever.

They looked at me, and I refused to meet their gaze. They snickered and moved towards a cabinet. "A good herbal tea, then."

"Thank you for your generosity and welcoming me into your home," Eden said graciously, and the conversation moved onward from there. It became more clear through how we interacted that Tala had been right; she had done this to be with me, to experience my world so she could share it. In the months it had taken me to grow her, she had fallen in love with me.

So, when I walked her back to my cabin with permission from Tala for Eden to live with us permanently, I knew where she'd be staying- in my bed, with me.

Of course I loved her back; I had taken so much time and energy to bring her into being. Romantically? Who knew, but I did love her, and wanted her to be happy. I think that's enough.

She stripped out of the dress and climbed into bed with me, and I was out of my usual shorts and tied shirt. When I laid down under the covers, she snuggled into my arms, and I got to fall asleep to the sound of leaves rustling in my ear in the steady beat of her heart. It was the best night's sleep I'd ever had, and my dreams were sweet, of a more luscious garden than I ever could have imagined- with both of us at the center of it, making love beneath the stars.

So, perhaps, I wasn't expecting the vines wrapped around my wrists and ankles when I awoke. I don't think she meant to harm me; she was still against my side, watching me sleep, though holding me down as I did. I groggily looked towards her, and she kissed me, soft and velvety like running the petals of a rose over my lips.

She didn't appear to have slept but didn't appear tired. I wondered if she even needed to sleep at all.

Still, in my half-asleep state, I kissed her back. She tasted of sunlight and the scent of my favorite flowers, mingling in the summer afternoon's haze. It was addictive, and I sank into it, closing my eyes again and letting myself be lost in that feeling.

I felt her vines travel over me, caressing over my breasts, my hips, my thighs. She stayed away from my pussy for now, though I wasn't sure why; did she not know there was something there to be felt? I realized she was following where my hands roamed over her, as she'd released me in our kiss. I hadn't known I was doing it, but she was so pleasant to touch, I couldn't help myself.

I let my hand drift between her legs, and found that her sex was just as warm and inviting as I suspected mine would be for her. I ran my thumb over her clit, and felt her body shudder in response. Immediately, a new vine found mine, mimicking my action and getting a cry of my own.

When I slipped a finger inside of her, she added another vine to the one already rubbing me, and followed every action of my fingers on her, fucking me with this appendage I was both jealous and envious of. It curled perfectly to rub at the sensitive nerves within me; my legs wrapped around her, holding her to me while I fucked myself against the vines that pleasured me more than I knew I could experience.

I was soaked, and the sounds of my fluids on her vines drove me wild. I was gasping, and she muffled my moans with her kisses. I wondered if she would follow everything I did with my fingers, and let another of mine drift farther back, wondering if I'd find another hole.

I did, and as I'd hoped, another vine- thinner than the rest, since I suspected she was getting the idea- coated itself in my fluids and then slid into my ass with little problem. I cried out again, arching up against her, unable to beg for more through the sweetness of her kisses.

She was merciless as she ravished me with her vines, and I shamelessly bucked against them, unable to move too much due to the ones wrapped around my hips in the same way my legs wrapped around her's. I couldn't quite see where they were coming from, but as my hand brushed over her clit again, I realized they were centered right above them, like half a dozen tentacles from some erotic film.

As I rubbed Eden's slit, alternating between that and massaging inside her pussy, I realized I was already getting close. She was so good that it was impossible to be immune to her skill, and I wanted to know what would happen when she came. If I came, would she?

I let her drive me to that edge and went over it, shattering like a thousand pieces of glass, and a rush of my fluids over her vines was sure to tip her off something was happening. As I did, she cried out as well, and I felt the tips of the vines open inside and around me, gushing forward some kind of viscous liquid. It filled me, leaking out even around the vines that stuffed every hole but my mouth, still covered by her hungry kisses.

They gave a few, final pumps, emptying fully into me- before, one by one, they pulled out and disappeared back into her body. We stayed clinging to one another, wrapped up tightly in just our arms and legs. I was panting, and she was too; trying to catch our breath was only broken now and again by intimate, slow brushes of our lips.

It was the most incredible sex I'd ever had in my life.

I fell back asleep, tangled up with her like that, bliss in every part of my body. I hadn't suspected that would happen when I'd taken her to bed; I hadn't even dared to hope for it. I was so happy that it had; she was the perfect lover for me in every conceivable way.

When we awoke the next morning to the sun shining in through the window, I realized that she had finally slept- only after the orgasms of her own. She had been restless, watching me sleep, I supposed.

"Good morning, Eden," I greeted, smiling softly at her and tucking a strand of hair behind her ears.

"It is a wonderful morning, waking up next to you."

I blushed, and she laughed at my reaction. "Shall we go see the garden? I daresay we neglected it yesterday in all this excitement. I'd like to make sure all the other plants are doing okay."

"Yes, let's." She said, and rose from bed.

We put on similar outfits like what we had before and went out to the garden, and spent the rest of the day there. In this form, she could touch a plant and influence it directly to grow, though it took energy from her. By the evening, she was spent, and I realized how she could recharge.

We made love beneath the evening stars, just as we had in my dream.
