Iron Stag (5/8)
#5 of Iron Stag
With Gambit assimilated it was time for the invigorated alien to set his sights on the next logical host, the malamute's roommate. But a twist of fate causes him to postpone his plans... but is his patience no longer a virtue?

The apartment was silent as the door opened; the alien disguised as Gambit slowly making his way through the blackness. Even though he could have gone right in and taken the malamute's roommate whenever he wanted he wanted to wait until he was asleep in order to pounce. With his newfound strength of having two hosts there was no more need to infiltrate, just having the disguise of the malamute and the element of surprise will be enough for this particular conversion. Plus, from what the parasite could decipher from Gambit's memories the german shepherd enjoyed the company of males as well and that meant far less mental conditioning to get where he wanted him to be.
The alien slowly opened the door to Askim's room and saw the sleeping male in the pale beam of light from the living room, the disguised malamute's eyes a pitch black as he used his enhanced vision to see what would be his newest host. As he looked at the outline of the canine laying there he could feel the need to have his true form come out, wanting to take the other male in all of his spectacular glory. But it still wasn't the time for that, there had to be some semblance of surprise or else all of the work he had done so far would be for nothing as he made his way closer.
But as the parasite moved forward he encountered something he hadn't expected, tripping over a power cord that had been strewn from a nearby outlet to Askim's phone. It caused the device to get pulled off the nightstand before it clattered to the ground and awakened the sleeping male, Gambit freezing in place as the german shepherd turned over and looked directly at him. "Gambit?" he said wearily. "What are you doing?"
"I uh..." the alien replied, not having a ready solution for that question since the malamute would normally never do this in the first place. "Didn't mean to wake you but I was wondering..." in a flash all of Gambit's memories and knowledge of his roommate was brought to the surface as every second that passed would make the other canine more suspicious of his presence. "...since I got home late from work if maybe you wanted to go and have a drink?"
Askim groggily sat up in his bed, then reached over for his phone only to find it wasn't there anymore. It took him a few seconds to figure out that it had dropped to the floor and when he finally found it he clicked it on to see what time it was. "Is it really that early?" he said to himself, Gambit nodding in reply. "I must have been exhausted from work... yeah, let's go tie one off. Even though we missed happy hour we can still get a few drinks in before last call."
This had not been what the alien wanted to hear as the german shepherd slowly got up and out of his bed, scratching the area covered by his boxers as he motioned to Gambit to go out and meet him in the living room. Gambit nodded and despite the alien desperately wanting to just move forward and pounce on him right now he found himself following the ques of the malamute and going over to the living room. When he got to the couch the parasite sat down and put his head against his palms in sheer frustration.
Why hadn't he taken advantage of the situation in order to get himself a new host, the alien thought to himself as he continued to sit there silently in contemplation. Even awake Askim was in no state to fight back, and with his ability to assimilate only growing he could have had him completely absorbed and assimilated in a matter of minutes. It was because he was trying to act like Gambit when he got caught, he realized as his frustration grew, and for some reason the host's personalities were affecting him way more than they were supposed to. Everything felt strange for the parasite and he had no idea what to do about it, especially as he heard the door open and saw the german shepherd completely dressed and ready to go.
The entire time they walked to the bar, which was only a few blocks away and was more of a small pub that catered to the neighborhood, the parasite had let Gambit take the lead and essentially put his body on autopilot while he tried to find the source of this strange malfunction. He began to worry that it was because he had spent so long in stasis trying to survive without a host that it had damaged him in some way, left him unable to spread and assimilate normally like he should be doing. Often his kind would land and find a host right away, then with their strength fully intact they could go about and continue to quickly assimilate others without having to disguise themselves sometimes. While some do enjoy the slow play they still often find and assimilate entire households to start, and often not in the... sensual manner that he had taken his first two hosts.
It wasn't long before the alien realized that they had gotten to the location that they had been walking towards, the pub packed with people since it was a weekend night. Gambit and Askim ordered their drinks and went to their usual table, chatting with one another while in the rather festive atmosphere. The entire time they spoke though the alien parasite was far more focused on the creatures that he could see, noting that such a place would be a good spot to assimilate all those involved with the establishment and then turn it into an ambush point. Unfortunately his method of assimilation had to be directly transferred to others and he couldn't spike the drinks or anything, though with how inebriated some of the males that had caught his eye were he could likely assimilate a number of them without even trying.
"You alright there?" Askim asked, bringing the alien Gambit back to the other canine's attention. "You've had a thousand-yard stare for the entire time we've been here and if I didn't know any better I'd say that you've been spending too much time with Timber."
"I have?" the alien asked, slightly fearful he had just given himself away. "Whatever do you mean by that?"
"Timber would constantly be checking out the stock," Askim replied with a chuckle. "Of course, all he had to do was flash his muscles and that smile and tell him that he was an athlete before they'd practically throw their boxers at him. Course he was usually so involved with his training he wouldn't take advantage of it usually, which is a shame."
"I see..." the alien replied in Gambit's usual response before boldly asking a question that the malamute had never dared to ask his friend before. "So did you and Timber ever... get together? You don't have to tell me if it's none of my business."
"Well I'm sure if I didn't tell you Timber would," Askim stated simply. "But no, never went into that realm, feel like that would get awkward. It would be like if I had slept with you... of course that would mean that you would have to be not straight and interested in me in the first place, and then the next morning we would still have to live together. Why, you suddenly thinking of trying out what the other team has to offer and trying to chase the deer?"
At this point the parasite realized he had gone into territory which the original Gambit was very unfamiliar with; though it wasn't the first time that the german shepherd had asked if he considered being with a male, a proposition that the malamute had shot down every time, but that would usually be the end of it. If the alien wanted to press the matter, he was going to have to go into unfamiliar waters of the canine with only Gambit's personality to guide him the rest of the way there. Part of him wanted to abort now, knowing that he was just going to assimilate him later and this conversation wasn't necessary, but for some reason he was genuinely interested in what Askim had to say. In the end the latter part won out and he took a second to muster what courage he could before responding.
"I don't think Timber would be a good first time," Gambit replied, watching the reaction of his friend as the german shepherd's eyes widened slightly at the response before he gave him a sheepish grin as though caught in something. "Plus I can imagine chasing after that deer would be exhausting, he is training to compete in the Iron Stag after all. But I can also see where you're coming from where it would be strange to sleep with one's friends, you never know how it's going to be in the morning and then you just ruined a relationship you already had."
Though Askim just nodded and took a drink of his beverage the alien could tell that the thought had gotten into the german shepherd's brain that his friend was considering switching teams, or at the very least willing to experiment with playing for both. It was rooted in some semblance of truth; when the parasite had started assimilating the malamute's brain it wasn't terribly hard to push him into the idea of wanting to be with another male. Though the alien made sure not to dwell on the subject too much, since Gambit hadn't been comfortable enough to before to talk about the subject, he wanted to see just how much he could corrupt the other male without assimilating him. Plus there was this nagging emotion in the back of the parasite's mind that he wanted to know how the german shepherd would react to such a revelation.
The two continued to talk for a while about more mundane things such as work and what their plans were for the weekend before deciding to call it a night after one more round. Once they were finished they made their way back to the apartment and decided to call it a night, the parasite nodding before heading back to Gambit's room. While it wasn't as nice as the place that Timber owned it was cozy in a way, and it kept him close to his next host. He knew that with a little more prodding and some assimilation of his mind he could get Askim underneath his body, though as he thought such a position it conjured more lewd images in the parasite's mind.
Though the alien knew he could relieve himself sexually once more if he wanted to it would likely cause him to revert back to his parasitic body, which if Askim somehow saw would end the rouse immediately. For a brief second he wondered why that would even matter since he could just go in and do the deed, but in the end he settled on just taking Gambit's covers and going to bed. Since he had the entire weekend and Gambit didn't have to work the alien could take the time to analyze what was going on with him before taking the german shepherd and assimilating him. But for the moment he was going to attempt the concept of sleep that these creatures partook off and then begin his work once more right away in the morning...
...perhaps after breakfast.
********************************************
When the alien parasite woke up again he found himself smelling something wonderful, and initially he thought that Askim had for some reason gotten up and made breakfast. But as he slowly got up and out of the bed he realized that the odors were familiar... it was pizza and Chinese food, something that he had already experienced consuming. After a quick search of Gambit's memories this was definitely an odd occurrence in both the type of food and Askim ordering it so early. It was enough of a difference in daily activity that the alien went to the door and took a peak outside to see what was happening.
Almost immediately the alien's eyes widened at the amount of food that he saw on the table; it was like what he had ordered on the previous two encounters times three. Everything that he had tried and a few things he hadn't were there and he found himself opening the door and walking over to the pile of fast food. It all looked like it had been recently delivered and though he couldn't complain something seemed very off in this whole scenario. Through all the scans that he did in both Timber's and Gambit's memories never had such a feast been produced for any reason, even when they had parties or celebrated special occasions it was never this much all laid out in one place before.
"Go ahead," a voice said behind him. "Help yourself."
The alien turned around expecting to see Askim standing there, only to have his jaw drop when he saw who it actually was. It was Timber, the deer standing there with a grin on his muzzle and completely naked. At this point the parasite's head was spinning, how on earth did one of his hosts manage to materialize his own body like this? After the assimilation he was supposed to have complete control of such things and even if Timber could manage such a feat he didn't have enough hosts yet to attempt to split off like that. Just as he was attempting to process that another head popped up from behind the couch that caused the alien to nearly trip over the table behind him.
"Yeah we already ate so that's all for you," Gambit said as the malamute stood up and walked towards him, causing the alien to back away until he bumped into the counter. "Or I suppose that should be that you've eaten us, so we really don't have a say in the matter."
"This is... impossible," the alien said as he looked down at himself and realized that he was back in his own shiny rubber form, his features completely undefined and blank. "You're not supposed to be able to have your own bodies under your own control, if anything I would create your bodies from my own mass and even then, I would still be controlling you! How did you creatures manage to do this?!"
"We're as clueless as you," Timber replied, the alien watching as the short fur on the cervine's body began to look wet before turning shiny. Unlike when the alien had assimilated him Timber's patterning remained relatively constant, even though it looked like he was wearing a rubber catsuit once most of his fur disappeared. "Perhaps you need to start asking yourself the important questions, like how you managed to become so damaged in the first place that such a thing is possible?"
The parasite shook his head as he tried to back away while the two continued to advance on him, scooting away to avoid being pinched in the middle. "Perhaps he doesn't even know either," Gambit replied, his body also starting to gain similar alien characteristics such as shiny skin that grew in patches over his body. "I mean, you continue to call yourself an alien and a parasite because you thought that is the definition that we gave you, but I think you learned about that term long before you met us. Do you even remember your name?"
"My name?" the alien replied, thinking about it before realizing that once more the two hosts he had assimilated were about to pinch him in the corner and ducked out of the way while their transformations continued. "I... I'm just an assimilator, a parasite, I don't need a name... or do I? What is going on here?!"
Suddenly just as the two were about to pounce him the door to the apartment opened and bathed the three of them in a white light. The alien creature had to cover his eyes with his arms as the blinding illumination washed over him, and in the next second he no longer had any feeling in them. Or his legs, or really anything of the anatomy he had gained as he suddenly found himself outside with the night sky above him. He was definitely no longer in Gambit's apartment, in fact he had no idea where he was as he strained his consciousness to try and figure it out.
It took the alien more than a few moments to realize that he was back in the forest preserve where Timber had found him in the first place, except that it was hard for him to recognize himself as male anymore. It also found hid mass to be far more reaching and spread out on the surface of a forest, feeling its goo form to be the size of a small swamp and continuing to assimilate the surrounding area. When it gathered that it was back in his non-host assimilated body the parasite utilized its ability to sense his surroundings while in that form and what it saw shocked it.
Though it was definitely back in the forest there was a large white dome that covered the entirety of the area, complete with walkways that were suspended several feet over where it felt its body residing. There were also a number of creatures here just like Timber and Gambit, all of them looking down and studying it, those closest in proximity to its alien form in full hazmat suits as they wrote down their observations. As it looked up at some of the screens that it could see what it looked like to them, a large pool of a tar-like substance that had already fallen several trees as the parasite began to remember.
It had been centuries since it had first landed on the planet, and though it could sense sentient life it had no means of attracting it and its ship had landed in a somewhat remote area accidently. It decided to take advantage of that time and produce something similar to the biome around it, assimilating all organic matter while appearing as a flooded swamp area where the curious or unprepared might wade in. With the additional mass it could create assimilate drones instead merely having hosts in order to collect information about the world wasn't while keeping its body a secret, imagining creatures like Timber stumbling in and being assimilated before once more rising out of the surface as mindless rubber thralls with alien goo dripping off their bodies...
The parasite shook its head as an artifact of Timber's assimilation appeared to have followed him to this... memory, though there was nothing it could really do about it. What caught its attention more was that it didn't seem like its mission was to assimilate the entire planet at all, instead it was to gather samples of these creatures and gather as much information from those that he converted to send back to his kind. That meant that he was just a scout, an information gatherer to monitor such planets like this and then if it proved worthwhile the others would bring their hosts here to assimilate and convert the planet once more. It even remembered it had a name, Krios, and wondered how it forgot all this in the first place.
As he continued to recollect what happened a creature he now identified as an army official came into the dome and everyone stopped to salute him. "At ease gentlemen," the lion male said as he looked down at the alien. "Have we gathered all the information that we can on this alien entity?"
"I believe we have sir," a fox male in a lab coat said as he handed the army man a clipboard. "This is definitely something extraterrestrial and from the looks of it has the capability of spreading through the assimilation of organic matter. It doesn't seem to matter what kind, every sample that we put in there so far has only added to the mass of this thing. We project that if this entity continues to go unchecked it could even reach the city that's developing here and we don't know what will happen if it does that."
"The higher ups agree with you," the lion replied. "They've deemed whatever this thing is to be not only a potential security threat but also a danger to the world at large. You are to remove any equipment from this area and evacuate now, we're going to activate the sterilization protocol and close off this area to the public for the foreseeable future."
The fox seemed a bit shocked at this and as he saw the lion move around to one of the control panels he quickly followed behind. "Don't you think that's a bit preemptive on our parts?" the scientist said as the officer pulled out a brass key and slid it into the corresponding slot, which caused a metal flap to slide open and reveal a button. "We don't even know if this thing is sentient or not, perhaps with a little time and understanding we can learn to communicate with it and see how it got here. We can't just destroy what might have been one of the greatest finds in history because we don't yet understand what it is."
"Perhaps you should have made such an impassioned plea to the council," the lion replied as he hit the button, causing all manner of alarms to being to sound. "Or maybe you shouldn't have mentioned the potential of this thing spreading, now unless you want to be sterilized with this thing I suggest that you take your crew and your research and get out of here before the napalm dispensers have sufficient time to warm up."
Though Krios hadn't known what all that was, or even understood what they were speaking, with the knowledge gained from the two hosts it became clear that they had found out about it's purpose before it could assimilate them for their knowledge. It also knew what the terms sterilization and napalm meant, and had it known before during this time it would have kicked itself out of its dormant state to try and get as many of the fleeing scientists as it could. Another thing that Krios noted was the technology they used was very different from the stuff that it had seen in the time he was currently in. Given what it could glean from the memories of his hosts he would have to guess that this had taken place fifty, maybe sixty years ago.
Once all the personnel had vacated the premises the lion man took one last look down at the alien and took a draw from the cigarette he had been smoking. "Bomb voyage," he said with a smirk as he flicked the cigarette into the ooze below. "Filthy parasite."
Before the butt of the cigarette had hit the goo the lion had left and the doors sealed shut behind him. All the alien could do was sit there since this was its past self and watch as flames began to erupt from all sides of the dome. A feeling of intense heat could be felt as everything burned, the walkways above it melted as his body was quickly destroyed by the searing fire that had formed a vortex inside. Krios was quickly dying but had one last trick up its sleeve and preserved part of itself in the ship that had been buried deep beneath it. The alien transferred as much of itself as it could in the safety of the heat-shielded metal pod before the flames reached it, and though it had managed to survive the napalm had also damaged critical components of his craft so that he could no longer escape or call for help...
Suddenly Krios found itself back in his old body, though the scene had changed from Gambit's apartment to Timber's bedroom. "So that's why everything is happening..." the alien said to himself as he saw the equally rubberized alien deer and canine standing there as well. "I was dying... they had managed to kill me almost completely. Had Timber not fallen into the crater they had left behind then I would have likely perished there completely."
"Glad to have helped," Timber replied with that smirk on his face.
"But that still doesn't explain you two," Krios replied as he pointed to the two of them accusingly. "You should be nothing more than a matrix of personalities and memories to draw information from. All you are is camouflage and a database."
"Yet here we stand," the rubber malamute said as he went over to the confused alien and began to rub his shoulders in a comforting way. "Perhaps your brush with death has led you to new insights, perhaps while in your weakened state you allowed yourself to see the wrong you were doing."
"The wrong I was doing?" Krios responded, quickly shrugging off the canine even though his latex fingers actually started to feel good against his rubber alien skin. "I am doing nothing wrong here!"
"We beg to differ," Timber replied, appearing behind him with his strong, muscular body pressed against Krios' back while the deer's arms reached around and rubbed his chest. "Your kind seem to have no concept of ethics or morals when it comes to intelligent creatures, but perhaps together we can show you that what you're doing should be stopped..."
Krios wasn't sure of what to do at this point, though it appeared Timber did as that hand began to drift lower. Their nearly frictionless bodies felt incredible rubbing against one another as Krios felt something else sliding against him, the deer's erection quickly pressing between his cheeks. Though the alien parasite knew that this wasn't what was supposed to be happening he was once more getting overwhelmed by the lust felt not only by himself bit Timber and Gambit as well. The malamute that he had turned on to the enjoyment of the male body was now being used against him as the canine knelt down in front of the alien and put his hands against his hips.
There were no more words between the three, they hadn't been needed in the first place but as the two assimilated creatures began to pleasure the one who did this to them Krios moaned loudly in response. He knew that he could stop this, but as he looked down to the hand that had started to stroke his rapidly stiffening member while an alien latex tongue licked against the tip he found it hard to think about anything but the pleasure he was receiving. At the same time Timber began to push his own latex cock into the hole of the alien, which was easily spread open in order to allow him to pop his head inside. As Krios felt his backside get stretched he realized that this was the first time that he was being penetrated, the only other experience before was that of the malamute that he got second hand from his memories when he had assimilated him.
The soft squeaks of their bodies rubbing together was the only noise they made as Timber leaned in and nuzzled against Krios' neck and cheek, the alien pausing his watching of Gambit as the canine begin to push his lips over his straining member to realize that this scene was somewhat familiar. He remembered back to when he had taken over Timber, bringing him to the place where he had felt safe to put the host at ease before finally fully assimilating his mind and taking over his host completely. Even with the cervine starting to thrust into him while massaging and stroking his chest while the canine beneath him started to suck he realized that his hosts had put him into a similar compromising position!
"Now just you wait," Timber said as his arms flexed and tightened their hold on the alien. "We told you that we were going to show you, and we agreed this was the best way to do it. Now just relax and allow yourself to become ours."
Never in the history of his race had Krios heard of hosts gaining enough awareness back to try and take over the one who had assimilated them, though it appeared that was exactly what was happening to him as the alien felt something push into his ear after Timber whispered into it. Just like his tailhole the parasite felt the alien tongue slither into him with mind-numbing pleasure and try to get to the core of his being while Gambit continued to bob his head up and down on his cock. When the deer began to feel a mental foothold that he could climb on the rubber canine just jammed his head forward and wrapped his hands around Krios' thighs to get that throbbing cock down deep into his throat while his tongue licked on the root.
"No..." Krios growled as Timber also thrusted into him, keeping the alien pinned between the cock inside him and the head that had completely enveloped his. "You can't do this to me... I won't allow myself to be taken by the likes of you!"
By the time Krios had reestablished his control he could already feel the chest of the deer beginning to sink into his back, their latex forms merging as the two sets of hands on his body began to sink beneath the surface of his rubbery alien flesh. But as the parasite concentrated two collars suddenly appeared around Timber's and Gambit's neck, the two converted males crying out in surprise as they suddenly backed off and grabbed against the smooth rubber that appeared there. A few seconds later their eyes became a solid black and their faces relaxed into a blank state as they sank down to their knees. Almost instantly the rubber alien reasserted his presence, and as he did he suddenly felt his eyes open again and found himself staring into darkness.
The sudden shock of the change of scenery caused the parasite to bolt upright, Krios looking around to find himself in Gambit's room once more. It had all been a dream... a concept that up until that point Krios was usually on the manipulating end of. Had he really just gotten close to having his personality assimilated by those that he had already taken? Even with his still slightly fragmented memory he had never heard of any of his kind needing to defend against such things... though he also remembered that he hadn't heard of any staying in stasis for as long as he had or returning from dormancy after being nearly killed off completely.
Still, Krios knew that he shouldn't have been bothered by such things as what his two hosts had said... he was there to gather data and soon all would be assimilated by his kind just as so many other races had beforehand. To them there was no such thing as right and wrong and he found himself likening what they did to the animals that they had on this planet and the concept of survival of the fittest. If they didn't have the means to defend themselves then another species should be able to come in and use their resources as they saw fit...
...just like a parasite would.
Krios frowned deeply at the thought, the idea of being called that now bothering him more deeply than it ever should. The alien realized that the personality bleeds had not been controlled, just contained for the time being. If he was going to actually get fully rid of Timber and Gambit he was going to have to assimilate more hosts to the point where he wouldn't need them anymore as camouflage. No more food, no more talking to those that the two knew, it was time for him to assert himself as the dominant species of this planet.
