Olly paused mid-stride. His bright white sneaker trembled in midair as he took a long, deep breath, then blinked and looked around again. His foot stomped against the ground and he crossed his arms, upset with himself.
"Aw, what's wrong, little guy, are you lo- oh! Sorr... sorry!"
Olly's ears went flat to his head, burying themselves in the deep and fluffy dark brown pelt smoothly coating his head. The olinguito's rounded, wide ears nearly disappeared as he watched the backside of the scientist awkwardly turn the corner.
If there was one thing that annoyed Olly about being short, it was being mistaken for a kid. Which the olinguito, viewed from the right angles, could resemble despite his efforts. After all, it wasn't his fault that his fur was so thick and soft that wearing long pants was nearly impossible, especially considering his proportions - he was about as tall from his feet to his hips as he was from his hips to his shoulders, a few inches shy of five feet even when he stood on tip-toes.
Never mind that Olly was, indeed, lost. He sighed and relaxed his shoulders. It was just like Sanmer to disappear at a time like this, no doubt distracted by some tantalizing piece of tech or other. The tour started out with promise an hour ago. Olly loved the impressive lobby of the SynTech building and gazed with wonder at the amazing custom artworks and statues throughout the three-story space, complete with a breathtaking chandelier that he could have stared at for the rest of the tour and been content.
But not so Sanmer, who bustled him down the elevator before he could even snap a selfie with the towering indoor fountain. Down, down, down, somewhere into the depths spiderwebbing out from the bottom of the tower like a living root system, each branch containing labs and research spaces and testing facilities for hundreds, maybe thousands, of ongoing projects, of which Olly wasn't sure just how many Sanmer meant to show him. From one bland white room filled with wires and gears to another bland white room filled with vats of bubbling green fluids, Olly felt like he was on some sort of carnival horror ride for Luddites.
"This project is developing real nice. I'm staying hands on with this one," Sanmer said before disappearing, modeling a pair of black gloves with wires so thick Olly hadn't been able to tell where the glove started and stopped. That was when the lights went out and the gloves sparked, and once everything settled down, Sanmer was nowhere to be seen. Given vague directions to Sanmer's most likely location by a tech still using an extinguisher on the smoldering mess of metal and plastic, Olly made his way through the endless hallways completely without a plan. The numbers on the doors turned to letters, then symbols, then numbers and letters.
The olinguito stopped walking again, studying the door in front of him. The plate to the left of the door said, "Chemical Testing Facility." Olly wondered if Sanmer said anything about chemicals before. Was he checking in on another project after his last blew up in his face?
Olly wrinkled his beige snout as he opened the door to a cascade of sharp odors. Though not particularly unpleasant, the fumes were strong enough to make his eyes water. He held his arms up in front of his face and squinted around at the long shelves and tables occupying most of the room. Huge silos sat in the center, into which various pipes transported chemicals in various forms to the different stations. A purplish haze hung in the air as Olly looked upwards, where he could see the windows of an observation deck and the yellow light of a hallway running along behind it.
A pair of figures ran past the windows moving from the right to the left - one was a bear in a black suit and red shirt, and the other was-
"Sanmer! Hey, Sanmer!"
Olly shouted as loud as he could and waved his arms, but his voice couldn't reach through the no-doubt unbreakable glass panels and metalwork. The fox and bear dashed across the windows, disappearing down the hall to the left. As soon as they were out of view, all the lights in the room went out before red alarms lit up instead. A dull, throbbing klaxon alarm sounded, over which an announcement played:
"All SynTech personnel are to evacuate the immediate area due to a level 2 containment breach in the Chemical Testing Facilities. Again, all SynTech personnel are to evacuate. Message repeats. All SynTech..."
Olly's ears disappeared completely this time as he ran through the room back to the door, which wouldn't open. He tried the door on the other side of the room, but it was also locked up. Turning around, the short olinguito looked up and realized he could see Sanmer waving down at him from the observation window. The fox snatched a small radio controller from the wall and held it to his mouth.
"Oh, hey, Olly! I was wondering where you went!"
The olinguito stared upwards, shocked at the fox's nonchalance. Crossing his arms angrily again, the stocky, fuzzy Olly glared upwards.
"Hey, Olly, I can't hear anything you're saying right now. Apparently that mishap with the gloves shorted out a few control systems for that lab you're in... uh, anyways, try not to breathe for a few minutes."
The fox and the bunch of technicians and scientists and researchers and security personnel clustered around him disappeared from view as large metal plates closed over the windows, plunging the lab into further darkness.
"Oh, and I won't be able to ta-"
Sanmer's echoing voice cut out, along with the noise of the sirens, leaving Olly alone in the hazy room bathed in the swirling red beams of the safety lights flashing from every corner.
"Whaddya mean not to breathe, you... you... you... hooo, boy."
Olly's chest rose and fell rapidly after his shouting and he looked down at his chest, wondering just how much of the gasses he'd breathed in over the last few moments of angry yelling. The yelling did feel good, though.
"Saaaaaanmer!"
Olly's muzzle twitched and crinkled again, though this not from a sudden jolt he felt in the tip of his nose rather than the heavy odors in the room. The olinguito's short legs shifted as he pressed his palms against his belly, leaning over slightly as the tingling sensation swiftly encompassed his head, neck, shoulders, and proceeded to shoot through his spine into his long, thick tube-like tail, forcing it to stand straight out from his wide backside.
Olly closed his eyes tight as he felt his shorts grow tight around his hips. Cracking his eyelids apart, he turned and peered over his shoulder in the flashing red lights, watching with disbelief on his short muzzle as the fabric of his dark blue shorts stretched at the seams, filling to past bursting with... with...
The olinguito fell forward onto his hands and knees as his backside exploded out of his shorts. The tattered fragments drifted down, brushing past the engorged and thick rump swinging and jiggling off the olinguito's hips. Despite the uniquely deep and soft coat of smooth brown fur running around the immense hams, the transfer of energy into the olinguito's newly-embiggened rump caused a twerking effect all of its own accord.
Olly didn't have time to worry about how he was going to shop for shorts now, because he felt the tingles spread and intensify on a different region of his body. His nostrils flared as he felt his belly expend, only to contract back down as though he were being blown up like a balloon and the air was now passing through to other parts of him. He clenched his fingers into his paws, careful not to pierce his palms with his long claws, as the tingling sensation ran from his shoulders down to his paws.
The olinguito panted as his tail whipped around behind him in tight, anxious circles. He grunted and bowed his head between his shoulders at the same moment that his biceps suddenly split right through the seams of his short, splitting it into so many rent pieces of cotton. The deep pelt splayed outwards as, starting at his shoulders, both of Olly's arms double in size, right down to the claws at the tips of his fingers.
"What the... how... this is crazy!" Olly shouted as he fell forward, unable to pull his own arms up off the floor - his backside was still small and soft, without the strength to make his arms push him back upright.
Olly's muzzle clamped shut when he felt the tingling sensation transfer yet again. His eyes went wide, pupils dilating despite the near darkness of the strobe lights flashing from the corners of the rooms. Eventually, after a long hissing intake of a gasp, Olly's muzzle dropped open with a deep and guttural groan. His tongue flopped over his lower lip as his head relaxed against his oversized right arm, nestling into the deep fur with a satisfied expression on his face.
The source of his sudden happiness with the world lay between his massive thighs. The olinguito was packing quite a tool for his size before, but now he possessed something else entirely. It was plump, smooth, uniformly thick from base to head, and stretched out and away from the onlinguito's hips right past his knees and ankles. A tremendous pair of testicles, each orb larger by far than the olinguito's round head, draped around the massive stalk, completely coated in the lighter brown fuzz that stretched between his inside thighs and over his chest and belly.
His contentment didn't last for more than a moment before the dull throb of the sirens brought Olly back to his senses. The tingling refocused yet again, growing in strength and speed as it moved throughout his system.
"-hear me or not, it doesn't hurt to try."
Olly's ears perked. That was Sanmer's voice.
"Uh, Olly, turns out the shortage tripped a few other safeties in the lab, so you might be dealing with some unique nanomachines right now too. We can't get a video feed, but, uh... I guess don't move around a lot? Don't worry! We'll have you out just as soon as-"
There was a loud buzz and sparks flew from a speaker in the ceiling before Sanmer's voice cut out. Olly shuddered as the tingling grew in power, and before he'd realized it, his head smacked into a cable hanging down from the chemical transport tubes above him. The olinguito looked around, as though seeing the darkened room for the first time, before looking down at himself.
He'd just doubled in height. His body was long and stretched, weirdly so, and he felt a little sick to his stomach as he wobbled forward on his narrow feet. With each step, though, his body re-bulked, starting from around his ankles and feet. The energy pulsed deep inside him, filling out his legs and restoring the plump, round plushness of his build from before - just larger. And somehow, even fuzzier than before. Olly's maleness twinged and he gasped, wrapping his paws around the trunk of the enormous length as far as he could reach, which was less than halfway to the tip of the magnificently thick shaft, though it appeared somehow shorter and stubbier than it was thanks to Olly's wide hips, thick belly, and soft, deep fur.
The filling out continued higher, until the olinguito let out a huge sigh of relief that he was somewhat back to normal. He flexed his tail, grinning as he realized it was also larger now, and stronger than before. He swung it around and curled the tip into a crook underneath the tip of his enormous maleness. The soft plush fuzz splayed across the smooth skin, teasing and stroking as the undulating tail shivered up and down along the underside of the growing, hardening shaft.
Olly grinned as he felt the tingles return. He estimated he was at least seven feet tall right now. Just what kind of mishap had he happened into? Maybe he'd have the chance to turn the tables on Sanmer for once if he played his cards right.
A sudden surge of tingling made Olly's muzzle drop open again, and this time a trickle of drool appeared as the maleness shivering between his oversized arms expanded in girth, thickening from base to tip all over again.
"Round... two!" the olinguito gasped, lips pulled back in a smile as he breathed the heady fumes drifting higher towards the ceiling.
"Alright, but seriously, get the doors open," Sanmer said, hovering over the shoulders of the trio of techs wiggling around inside one of the columns. Wires and splices and tools lay everywhere as the otters dug deeper towards the control panel's mechanisms to override the protocol lockdown. "This is like an episode of Star Trek or something. Is this how you normally operate?"
The white-furred fox directed the last to the otter standing next to him in a smart black suit.
"No, Mr. Sanmer, sir. Again, SynTech offers its sincerest-"
"Got it!"
One of the otters half-buried in the column wiggled and fell backwards with a small, burnt-out fuse in his fingers. The other two wriggled over to replace him, and a moment later the red light above the door flashed green, then blinked off, leaving the smooth ceiling blank and white again. The doors slid open as air filters drained and replaced the air inside.
"Hey, Olly!" Sanmer shouted. He strolled up to the door, both paws in his pockets. "Sorry about the wait. You held your breath and didn't move around too much, right? Hey, Olly? Can we get the lights on?"
"Working on it, sir!"
Sanmer peered into the pitch-black room, no longer illuminated by the strobing red emergency lights, when a massive brown paw stretched through the doorway. Fingers larger than Sanmer was wrapped around the surprised scientist, before the enormous hand swept him away back into the darkness of the lab.
"Lights will be on in just a moment, sir. Sir? Hey, where'd he go?"
Sanmer's long braided hair streamed behind him as he realized the huge paw wasn't crushing him, just giving him a good squeeze as it brought him into the main room. Chairs, tables, and equipment was haphazardly knocked or flung aside, clearing space for what Sanmer realized, as his vision adjusted to the darkness, was the outline of Olly's body.
Only gigantic.
The olinguito's stocky frame had to curl over to avoid breaking through the ceiling above. The windows of the viewing stage, now opened, showed only a brown pelt splayed up against the glass when viewed from outside. From inside, Sanmer could see little as the huge paw dropped him onto the olinguito's fuzzy chest. The fox sunk in up to his hips as the bushy fur surrounded him.
"Heeeeyyyyy, Saaaannnmmeerrr."
Olly's voice, unmistakably, but so vast and deep it sounded like slow motion. Sanmer's ears flattened back, then rose straight up as he scampered to his feet and ran up the olinguito's chest.
"Olly! Olly, are you okay?"
"Juuuuusssst fiiiiine."
The lights came on, revealing fully how much of the room the olinguito occupied. It was difficult to tell how tall he really was because his legs were bent to the sides and his tail wrapped over itself and shifted into the corners to try to fit him all without breaking the walls. Laying on his back, his head was propped up so that he could stare down at his now tiny partner.
"Soooo thiiiisss issss whaaaaat itttt'ss liiiike," the enormous olinguito said, grinning.
"What's what like?" Sanmer asked, his brain barely functioning as he stared at the enormous, soft, fuzzy giant.
"Tooo beee theeee biiiiig onnnneee. Muuuuussssst beeee myyyy luuuckkyyyy dayyy!"
The wind nearly blew Sanmer forward off the olinguito's chest. He had to cling to the fur around the enormous male's nipple as something massive thudded down across the other side of his chest. Sanmer's eyes widened as he realized it was the olinguito's arousal stretching from one corner of the room across at a diagonal, with the tip squeezed awkwardly now into the corner. A few small warning pulses of clear pre-cum dripped from the tip as Olly's loud grunt caused the floor to tremble.
"Iiii thiiiiinnnk Iiii'mmmm goooonnnnaaaa caaaauuusssse a meeeeesssss nooooow," he said.
Sanmer's shocked expression turned to one of glee as he stared at the huge hand wrapping around the oversized erection. The scientist already had one-hundred and fourteen ideas on how to restore his olinguito partner back to his original size, but why rush things? One-hundred and thirteen - nitrous wasn't going to be a good catalyst in this situation.
As the fox and olinguito enjoyed a very unusual moment, they ignored the new, updated warning broadcast across the intercoms:
"All SynTech employees, please evacuate the area. There is a level 6 containment breach in the Chemical Testing Facilities. Remember, no peeking. Message repeats."
