It had been Koda's turn, tonight. Kade was usually the one in charge of their relationship, the one deciding where the couple would go to on their dates, the one who made the plans and reservations. Tonight, though, it had been the little fusionelle's turn. It was her hatchday after all!
Regrettably, the dinner hadn't been as spectacular as Koda had hoped. She'd had the place recommended by many of her friends. The restaurant was beautiful. They got a center seat on the balcony, with a spectacular view of the Super Dome across the vast river. Then the food came and Kade seemed to enjoy her salad. The big female dread could eat anything planty and be happy with it. But Koda... She was a fusion! Was she 10 feet tall? Did she walk on four legs, and have wings? Not the last time she'd checked! So where in hell did the stupid waitress get the idea to serve her a salad as well? She'd have told the human girl that all she wanted was the 20 ounce steak with some delicious sauce. But did she get the 20 ounce? No! She got a 10 ounce with a stupid salad on the side! To make things worse, the waitress wouldn't take it back!
Koda was fuming right now as Kade flew them home, Koda riding on the dread's back, just behind her powerful wings. She was still rather hungry as she could feel her predatory instinct trying to rationalize that just a bite from Kade's back would be enough. She wouldn't miss one little chunk, would she?
Yes, actually. She would.
Koda had a condition called vampirism. Dread-big quadrupedal draconids that, despite their appearance, were herbivores-were a fusion's natural prey, and vampirism made it all the harder for a fusion to resist the delicious allure of a dreads scent. The sweet smell of her mate was driving her crazy right now. All Koda could to keep from drooling onto the tan-colored dread's back!
Koda, as said before, was a fusion. Unlike their evolutionary cousins, the dread, fusion walked upright on two legs. They didn't have wings like dread. They did, however, follow the same colorations rules. Koda had cream colored body scales, with turquoise stripes on her thighs. She was fairly small, only about 5-foot-4, with an equal length tail which had a tapered tip. Her eyes were naturally violet, though like all fuzic people, they changed based on different mood extremes. Kade, Koda's mate, was tan in color, with beautiful green eyes adorning her face, fabulous multicolored wings, and luxurious dark spots speckling her hips. Her tail was long-making up more than half of her 45-foot body-and elegant, ending in with a nice looking spade.
Right now, the couple was flying home from the relatively disappointing date. Koda could already see the lights of their neighborhood. They lived in a suburb outside of Magnus City. Their house was pretty decent in size. It fit Kade nicely. They had nice neighbors, though Koda suspected they were nice more from false fear of Kade than anything else.
"Hold on tight, Koda!" Kade's sweet voice boomed from the below. She was coming for a landing on their front lawn. Koda leaned forward, wrapping her arms around her mate's neck, clamping her knees onto the dread's side. In a practiced maneuver of frantically beating wings, Kade brought them safely to the ground. She rustled her wings, an action the Koda never understood, and folded them back up to her sides. She lied down, getting low enough for Koda to reach the ground easily, and the fusionelle slid from Kade's back. With a grunt, Koda stalked into the house. She really wasn't in a good mood.
"Honey, I'm sorry your night didn't turn out the way you had expected." Kade tried to comfort her mate as she closely followed the fusionelle inside. "I'm sure we have something in the store room for you to eat, Koda. Want me to look?"
"Kade," Koda said, plopping down on her arm chain in the living room. It was a large room, with tile floors, and some sparse, but fancy furniture. "The grocery stores banned us from shopping in them months ago! What makes you think we have anything left worth eating?" She sighs, her stomach grumbling a bit as she tried to keep from drooling at Kade's delicious smell. "We should have just gone to Casanova's..."
"Ah, that's right..." Kade said sadly, lying down on her pile of pillows, resting her head on her forepaws. Kade had been banned from the stores because she was too big, and had a tendency to sell out the produce section on beets, which she had a particular fancy for. Koda was banned for attacking a store manager because Kade was banned. The fusionelle had taken the poor human's hand off, and threatened to take the rest of him if he pressed charges. So now their meals came from restaurants and delivery.
"Well, what are we gonna do?" Kade asked after several minutes, in response to another grumble from Koda's stomach. "We can't just let you go hungry all night!" She whimpered, giving Koda a worried look. Koda said nothing. She just sat there, staring into space. Kade's mind wandered frantically, searching for a solution. She hated to see Koda go hungry, and not only because of the risk it put on herself. But... Kade couldn't think of anything! The stores weren't an option. They couldn't order take out, as that would be over budget. Koda hated vegetables, as all fusion did, so Kade's secret stash of beets was out. All that was left was the neighbors dog, which was also out, and Kade herself.

Kade shuddered at the thought. 'No! That's disgusting, why would I...' But then she thought about it. The more she considered it, the less disgusting it seemed. In fact, the idea started to seem... Kind of arousing. 'I'm a dread, right?' Kade reasoned, 'She can take a couple good bites, and I'll regenerate in a week or two!' The dreadess shifted on her pillow pile, her sudden arousal making it hard to stay still.
"K-Koda... Love?" Kade started, biting her lip as she tried to think of how to say what she wanted to. How does one tell another to eat them? Lead them on, like in bed?
"Yes, Kade? What is it?" Koda said, turning her head to glare at the big dreadess. Her stare was angry, full of a raging, animalistic hunger. It kind of scared Kade, made her reconsider what she was doing. The dreadess knew she had to persist, though.
"I... I know something you can eat, Koda." Kade said firmly, staring bravely back into those eyes, which boiled red with hunger. Her whole body was tense, but she wasn't afraid. She held her head high and dignified as she turned her body to expose her left haunch to her hungry mate. She gave the thigh a pat, grinning slightly at the fusionelle.
Koda's gaze travelled over the big dreadess's body. "What? Oh..." The hunger made it hard to think, and it took Koda a couple moments to get what Kade was implying. Her eyes settled on that big, juicy thigh. Koda couldn't deny it. It looked... Delicious. She started to drool, a low snarl ripping from her throat as she prepared to pounce; to sink her sharp teeth into the big, meaty, fresh dread haunch.
"No!" She had to stop herself. This was insane! She couldn't eat her own mate! Koda clamped a hand over her muzzle and quickly tore her hungry gaze away from Kade. "Kade... I can't. I-It wouldn't be right, honey! I love you, and I can't hurt you like that."
"But I want you to, Koda." Kade said, reaching over with her long, spade-tipped tail. She wrapped the appendage around her mate and pulled Koda over to hold her against her chest for a moment, purring loudly. "I love you too, Koda. That's why I'm doing this. Because I can't stand seeing you go hungry, even for one night!"
"B-but..." Koda stammered, trying to come up with a rebuttal. She weakly hugged Kade's chest, feeling from the dreadess's heart beat that she wasn't afraid. "What if I get out of control? What if I can't stop after the first couple of bites?"
"I know you can do it, Koda. I trust you." Kade bent her head down and nuzzled at the fusionelle, still purring warmly. Using her tail, she pulled Koda away from her chest, moving her mate to rest against her haunch. "Now. Eat me!" Kade commanded, looking down at Koda without a trace of fear. A loving smile spread across her face.
Koda's heart began to swell as she returned Kade's loving smile. What love the big dreadess must have had for her to be willing to do this for Koda. To sacrifice part of her body, no matter how small Koda was determined to make that part. Tears gathered in the corners of Koda's violet eyes. She couldn't help it, she wept.
"Kiss me, Kade. Before I start, I want you to kiss me." Koda pleaded, trying to lean up closer to her lover. Kade bent her head down as Koda grabbed her tenderly by the cheeks. Their kiss was one of deep passion and love. Both lovers closed there eyes as their forked tongues danced around the other's, tasting the inside of both their mouths. It lasted almost for eternity to both of them before finally their lips parted with a long, loving gaze.
"Eat me, love." Kade urged, looking into Koda's eyes, which had started to slowly return to a boiling, hungry red. The dreadess removed her tail from around Koda.
Koda turned her gaze away from Kade's green hues, letting her eyes fall on the juicy haunch that was now hers to enjoy. Her tail flicked back and forth through the air as the fusionelle decided how to go about this. She knew she had to savor every moment; savor all the flavors and sensations that were going to greet her as she feasted. Gingerly, Koda began to caress at Kade's haunch. The dreadess's pleas didn't get through to her mate, though, for Koda shifted her position to kneel in the puddle of Kade's blood that had formed on the floor, and began to descend once again, her mouth open wide, streams of drool dripping from it and mixing with the warm, red blood flowing from her mates wounds. Kade yelped as she saw where Koda's next intended bite lay.
