Chapter 2: The Torturers

"But he hasn't answered his phone or replied to my texts," Confidence was staring at her phone again. "I'm worried, Love Heart. I need to go check on him."

Before he could activate it, Confidence charged, bowled Shimmers over and then turned to run towards the forest. Her sensitive ears easily able to pick up the caring guarding jumping to his feet and chasing after her.

She knew she had to shake him off or knock him out before she fled or he would just follow her back home and bring his other friends to an unprepared Magi. When she was in the trees she turned around to meet him in a small clearing, she didn't have to wait long.

Despite this, Confidence was barely able to keep ahead of Shimmers' attacks, watching for him to make a mistake she could take advantage of.

Confidence couldn't recognise the noises, but she knew it belonged to Champ. "Let me go!" Confidence Heart demanded as they slid her ice block through the door.

Aqua bear closed the door, and as they entered, they found that Champ bear had been blind folded, gagged, and ear plugged and repositioned with Lonesomeheart sitting on his back and his feet lifted up together tied up in front of her.
