the secret truth
the first part of my story of 3 chapters
Chapter 1: the discovery
I was walking down the hood with the boys, my best friend if the group is Silvio. We have known each other since elementary school.
Then there's Jonathan, a cool guy with a lot of survival skills and had many gadgets from gas masks to torches, even night vision goggles, but let's not get off topic.
We heard a howl deep down the forest, the forest was mentioned as a "park" but I never really thought it was a park it's been closed down for a few years because of all the disappearances but I didn't care and said "yo, y'all wanna explore the forest it's gonna be a few miles we won't get that far'' Silvio was going to disagree but then nodded as a signal that he changed his mind. It was almost midnight and we were inside the forest, we used our flashlights cause it was hella dark in the forest. John brought a night vision Camcorder, so he could see in the dark much better and could record anything that would happen. We kept walking until we heard a loud rustle.
It was like a creature was going 100 mph around us without us noticing anything but the sound of its movement. We froze for a second and John started recording. "uuh, guys I think it's time to get back!" Silvio murmured, and kept going. All of the sudden a creature jumped down a tree a caught John leaving the camcorder on the ground he was then dragged in the deep forest but this humanoid figure with Wolf appearances, My heart started racing and got his camcorder, "FUCKING RUUN!" I said in adrenaline but I realized Silvio was gone too.... "Jesus christ'' I murmed. I pulled out my compass with the map of the forest. I quickly knew where I was going. I turned to the south and started walking. It was very dark and being alone was different than staying with one or more people.
I felt my skin trembling from the cold and adrenaline. I could feel my heart pumping even though I never ran or did sudden moves.
I froze and heard breathing in my neck and I was a heavy breath and it was not a normal human breath. I turned around and saw this gigantic best behind me, It had silver fur with very dark fur on his abs and muzzle and grinned "Davide.... it's... me" it murmured, "w-who?" I responded "Silvio....." the way he responded made my legs feel like they were going to collapse, I backed away a bit and Silvio said in a normal but deep voice " don't worry, I won't bite or kill you." I responded with a sigh and said "how the hell did you become this creature and where is jack?" Silvio responded " Okay so I was a werewolf since I was 8, I never told you that because then you would not want to stay with me at that time people hunted werewolves, Jack is okay he's coming here any second now" I asked " Is he changed too?" Silvio responded "yes. He was bitten by one of the werewolves. My parents that are also werewolves have been chasing us to ensure any other werewolf didn't attack us but I guess they were not careful enough and john got caught" then I thought to myself looking at the camera "I have to get the fuck out of this place staying here will just make things worse" I got back in the present and said to Silvio " uh I gotta go take a piss I will be right back" Silvio nodded in agreement I walked to a tree and when it looked away I recorder him and ran. I ran like there isn't a tomorrow. I looked at my compass in a hurry and saw I was going in the right direction. I heard some rustling around and Saw two werewolves getting near me and they were obviously John and Silvio. I yelled "SHIT, SHIT,SHIT" I looked in front of me and saw the main exit of the park. John yelled in a super deep voice " DAVIDE! WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING" I didnt respond, my mind told me to run and so my body agreed and I was focused to get out of this place.
I saw an obstacle that was as tall as my waist and stylishly I vaulted over it.
I saw the lights of the streets with many people walking there. I ran again towards it, but then Jack jumped at me and time froze. I couldn't move. I saw Jack in mid air ready to jump at me then time started again slowly and I prone on the ground making jack miss me I dodged his claws and got back running until I reached the streets. The werewolves could not do anything about it and got back in the forest. I felt my legs like they were cut in half and used the last energy to get back home. I opened the door of my house and opened my laptop connecting it with my camera via cable. I opened the file and there was everything that happened in those 20 minutes the video footage was a bit damaged but it was a enough to show the werewolves and the chase "damn i'm good at recording footages" then a flashback came in of me recording Silvio doing a trick with his bike and when I saw the footage it was like I filmed a documentary. He exported all of his files in his hard drive and then another thought came in "wait, what is gonna happen when everyone is at their home sleeping?" His friends know the location of my home and will want to turn me into one of them "I'm not a furry or a furfag, and I don't want anymore trouble" with my mind full of thought I quickly got to sleep.
