#1 of The Map of Gilgama

Deloy, and Eileen were two regular humans meeting for the first time when they meet a mysterious old man who hands them an ancient looking book. Now they find themselves trapped in a world known as Gilgama and find themselves in a new set of bodies, would they be able to escape and return to their own world.

The convention center was filled with people from each end of the large building. People were barely moving as they explored the place. It seemed to stretch on nearly endlessly. The many people around. For some, it was just fun, but for others, it was indeed a Nerdvana. Nothing much could be said for the convention. People were sharing a love for something abnormal or animated. Even the few who got really into it dressing up.

Deloy sadly wasn't cosplaying. He couldn't afford it. But this convention far different. It was a chance that he was able to meet up with a friend. A friend he'd wanted to meet for the longest time. When he took a deep breath. The nervous sigh as he was hanging around the art gallery. Looking towards the beautiful drawings, as he imagined maybe he'd get a commission while he had a chance.

For Deloy, he didn't look that impressive. He was tall and slim, standing around 6'1., Pure lank, as he looked as though he was a walking skeleton. He had a big nose and big ears with feet that barely fit in size 12 shoes, and then there were his hands. It was clear about one thing. Deloy Thylin was a goofy looking guy. He looked like he didn't weigh much and would be heavier if he was wet. He had short hair with hangs on the side. A recent cut, since he felt it was getting too long.

Deloy didn't want to look creepy anymore, and long hair just never looked right on him. Even if they covered his big goofy ears. Deloy simply sat back with a simple smile as his legs bent more when he heard a voice.

"Thylin of Wenatch?" A feminine voice called out from behind him. Deloy suddenly turned around. That was when he saw her. She was short standing, maybe 4'9 long brownish hair that had some split ends tied back in a ponytail. Cute button nose, and bit plumper than most. She wore clothes that seemed to be slightly more prominent as she held a brown leather-bound notebook.

"Yeah, and are you, Navajo Demar?" Deloy asked, somewhat curious, his boney finger pointing towards her

"Yeap, that's me, though please call me Eileen." She gave a smile showing off her teeth, not as pearly white but still lovely. Deloy chuckled some as he got up. Standing all the way, it was clear he was towering over her, and then the two began to hug each other.

"It's so great to see you!" Eileen exclaimed as she hugged him tightly. Her grip was firm as Deloy grunted hard. He didn't use to such expression, but he hugged back a small laugh as he muttered,

"I know, I mean, who'd have thought we'd lived in the same city and met for the first time." There was an excitement between them.

"So, how's Jake doing?" Deloy asked curiously as Elieen looked around some, almost as if she was nervous, trying to think of something anything that could come to mind between them.

"Oh, he's fine. He couldn't make it cause he got sick." She stuttered some though Deloy didn't think much about it as he rolled his shoulders,

"Well, maybe next time. Come on, Let's check out the convention we've got all weekend. Onwards to adventure." His hands were sticking up, pointing towards the sky as if posing. Eileen rolled her eyes, giggling.

"Sure thing but you rolled a 1 in coolness there." A long snort coming from Deloy in response as they soon began exploring the convention floor, and the best part of it was heading towards the sales floor.

It was a chance to find something fun. But the matter was just the two friends hanging out was more than they might've expected. Little did they know that they were close to setting sail on an adventure of a lifetime.

They explored the dealer's table, looking for something anything that might catch their interest. Eileen looked over at some of the dice. The twenty-sided dice were multicolor custom made, with metal edges, priced around ten, maybe fifteen dollars, depending on what dice it was. Deloy smirked some and flipped one in each hand.

"Looks pretty cool,"

"I know right, I mean, it would make a couple of my games look even nicer." Eileen agreed with him as she took the dice.

"I think I'm gonna get it, besides what ten bucks, it's not going to hurt anyone."

She paid for the dice and bounced them in her hand. Deloy smirked some while looking about.

"So it's pretty weird meeting up, I mean online chattings one thing. But actually in person."

"I know, right, Thylin. I mean, I pictured you a bit shorter."

"Oh, haha, and please call me Deloy. I mean Thylin, my last name and all; it's kind of weird." A small snort as they passed somebody's pillows. Deloy eyed them from the corner of his eyes, not seeing much but finding them pretty nice. Though he never had the courage actually to get one of them. A small side of him would feel ashamed of even dealing with one, especially at his age.

He was moving onwards when suddenly he spotted it. It was off to the side of a small table that was stained with yellow spots. Random papers worldwide, and sitting behind the table in a broken chair looked like an older man. A long ragged beard and probably some of the worst wizard robes he ever has seen. He almost reminded him of a homeless Dumbledore.

"Hey- Hey you!" The older man called out. His fingers gripping over a stick while watching him, his voice was gruff. Deloy might've run off if he had a chance but found himself stopped in place. He looked around some, Eileen popping over next to him.

"Get over here. I think I've got something nice for you." Such a thing was strange. Deloy looked around for a half minute. But no one seemed even to notice the crazy older man. Though after a second, the young man walked over and muttered,

"Um, yes?" Deloy didn't know what to say. It was just one of those moments you found yourself without words. He motioned over to the old man. Who was popping his neck? There Deloy looked down at the table. He was getting a better look while noticing that there were bits of pamphlets and papers scrolled around. But one in the corner caught his eyes.

That one was a bit older, but it reminded him of one of those old DND booklets from the '60s. They stretched over from a time when they were considered nothing more than a satanic panic.

"I got all sorts of good things. Things that would knock your socks off." He reached over and picked the book up. Its pages were flipping, almost sounding like the flapping of crow's wings.

Deloy took the paper in his hand. Examining over it, Eileen looked over and saw the pages as Deloy passed through them,

"Dude, this looks awesome." Her fingers were flipping through them while Deloy chuckled. Though Deloy had a feeling, something about this wasn't right. It was creepy as he moved over and examined the book. It wasn't any Dnd manual he'd ever seen. There were symbols in them that he didn't recognize. If it was an actual DnD booklet, it was one that hadn't been released beforehand.

"So, how much for this book?" Deloy asked, the words escaping his lips before he realized it. He tried taking them back, but the old man chuckled.

"How about $30? This is very rare, and it'll be an adventure of a lifetime." His voice was gruff yet honest. It was beyond reason to intrigue the young man. He barely realized he was pulling his wallet out and handing him the money, A twenty and a ten. Respectively. The old man took it and smiled,

"Adventure awaits you, beware the Jabbers and reach the highest mountains, for that may be your salvation." His voice's heaviness was alluring more, but Deloy and Eileen headed off the booklet and dice in their hands as they began exploring the con a little more.

As for that old man, who was dirty and with a beard that was too long and smelled like a toadstool, he was gone, vanishing without a trace along with the table and other papers--leaving behind only a twenty and a ten-dollar bill. A small boy or another man might found that. But for that old man. His job was truly finished.

"So want to grab some food? It's on me." Deloy said as he turned back towards Eileen, who felt her stomach turn, almost growing in demand for something to eat. It was almost as if Deloy could read her stomach.

"Sure, I think I could, but how about we get some pizza."

"Sure, sounds good to me." Deloy blushed some though shook it off, reminding himself that she had a bf. He couldn't be acting that way as they headed towards the food court. They ended up getting a pepperoni Pizza with sausage, the other half having green peppers. Deloy was enjoying his side of the pizza picking off any green pepper that sneaked over on his side. At the same time, they looked at the paper.

It read

Storms of Gilgamal. The paper seemed even older than D&D. Deloy barely wanted to touch the thing, worried it might fall apart. His fingers were looking over as he examined each page. It was hard to read. The letters faded, but for Deloy, he could barely read it. With a simple moment,

"I mean, this would be interesting, but I don't think I remember hearing anything about Gilgamal though I wonder what it might contain." Eileen shrugged, not knowing ether as she was about to reach over, grabbing her phone, figuring that she might as well google it. Something that might come to them.

Though suddenly, something cause Deloy's attention. He looked towards it for a minute; that was when it suddenly got bright, really- bright. Deloy suddenly felt a powerful urge to cover his eyes as he moved his hand, covering his eyes. Hard breathing as he felt as though he was close to going blind.

He looked away for a minute, though it was there he noticed something- something quite odd, as everyone else around them seemed to ignore it. They were pretending as though nothing was happening. He took a hard grunt as he felt the light burning against him. He was hitting his body as though his body was burning from it. The rays of light were beyond any natural nature.

"What the hell's going on, Deloy!" Eileen screamed as she looked back over towards him. Her eyes squinting as she looked towards her friend,

"I don't know." He grunted harder as he suddenly felt as though he was being pulled into the table. A hard grunt when he felt as though the wind was being knocked out of him as he struggled for air. This strange and mysterious force had latched onto him- no, not just him. It got Eileen also. And it wouldn't let them go. As he let out a harsh scream hoping someone would notice them. Maybe even help them. But it was too late. There was nothing that they could do.

When people had looked back over at the table, there was nothing. No papers, no bags. Not even a pizza. It was as if no one had been there in the first place. Though that had thought they heard screamed just shrugged it off thinking maybe. Just maybe it had only been their imagination.

There was darkness, nothing around Deloy as he grunted hard. His body felt as though it was on fire. He was getting warmer as though his flesh was burning. His skin was flickering off, though he just couldn't see anything. His body is starting to compress. His bones felt as though they were cracking. It felt like he was dying. He wanted to scream, but he had no voice. All he could do was take this pain to take these feelings as he felt like his mind was twisting around in circles.

Eventually, Deloy would blackout. His body was feeling numb, as though he was no longer around. Living in the darkness, for how long he was like this. Well, even Deloy didn't know that. He just knew it was an eternity, and through the whole mess, he didn't dream.

Eventually, as time went on, everything passed, and Deloy found his body shaking. He felt as though he could finally move. His eyes were forcing themselves open. He looked up to the deep blue skies clear from the smog that the city would have. Barely a cloud in the sky. It was indeed a sight to believe. He pulled himself up, His body sliding as he got onto his feet.

"Yesh, did I drink or something?" Deloy was far more confused as he shook his head. He stumbled around as he tried to find the right balance. He looked to see he was standing in a large field. It was a sight he hadn't seen in a long time, and sure he visited the country. This reminded him of when he was a young boy, and his parents took him out to see more than the city. Off in the distance, he could see the mountains, see the forest just in front of it--such a magnificent sight.

Deloy walked back when suddenly, without warning, he tripped over.

"Fuck," he groaned, rubbing the back of his head. He fell over something, landing on something that was genuinely soft, as he looked down. There he saw fur, Snow-white fur. That spread over. Deloy's eyes widened as he heard the fur grunt and groan as it shook him off.

He looked over as the figure moved, and he realized he was looking at a cougar. Well, it was a cougar but not a cougar. It was long and seemed almost human. It had long brown hair atop its head like a mane. Though what caught his attention was her breast. Large breast and Deloy meant that they were big, more prominent than his head- with such a sight exposed Nipples sticking out, as though they were close to taking out someone's eyes.

Deloy wasn't sure what to say as he stepped back while finding himself slightly aroused. He shook his head,

No- stop that. Just cause she's got nice big tits means nothing. She could eat me! That was when he watched the cougar toss and turn. Though soon enough, the cougar's eyes opened pure amber as she looked towards Deloy.

"Gah, what happened? My head..." She reached over, rubbing her head for a minute when she looked towards him and suddenly began screaming. As she rolled back,

"Holy shit! What the hell are you!" her voice sounding familiar hell. If Deloy knew any better, he imagined it was Eileen.

"Who the Hell am I? Who the hell are you?" Deloy exclaimed. It was such a shocking moment looking at this behemoth of a woman- he was sure she was a woman. A furry woman. Who was towering over him? She looked as though she was standing over 7 feet tall. Her ears were a little big That you might've thought she was a bear. With how round they were, though. Looking at her more, you knew she was a cougar. Her tail right behind her swaying back and forth, almost cat-like.

"I'm Eileen!"

Deloy didn't know what to say, as he looked confused,

"No way you can't be Eileen, I mean, you sound like her, but that can't be! She's Short, almost like a tiny Panda. You're a damn cougar!" He muttered as he was about to jump at her.

"I'm not a..." Eileen looked down at her body, and suddenly, she saw her new form. She couldn't see her feet, thanks to her luscious breasts. Eileen's eyes widened almost like fine china plates as she screamed.

"Holy shit, what happened to me! Why do I have such big tits!" her screeching getting louder, though Deloy laughed a little as he did find it funny.

"Oh, don't you dare laugh, little kitty." She reached over, covering her breast with one hand as she poked his nose.

"What the hell are you talking about?" Deloy looked at him and gave himself a real look. It was then he noticed something. He was short. Much shorter than average. He stared at his hands- they were dark, almost fluffy. Compared to his more Caucasian skin. Then he realized his hands were small. He reached over, grabbing his ear's, his noise, and the rest of his body.

Suddenly there was a scream, as it was he realized one thing. Deloy Thylin was no longer human. He was now a cat, though the cat he was, it was none other than an ocelot.

Deloy felt his head spinning, his body moving around as he gave a long grunt as he fell over, and with it, everything went black.
