The Care Bears Regression Fair

"Com'on, Thankful Heart," Brave Heart lifted his adopted son's out of his stroller, "Your getting heavy." He prodded the Thankful's belly which made the sea-green wolf giggle and wiggle in his arms as Brave Heart carried him into the Hall of Hearts.

"Hey everyone, how's the plan going?" Brave Heart stepped into the control room where about a third of the Care Bear Family were gathered around a large table.

"It's going well, Brave Heart," Noble Heart walked over and tickled Thankful under the chin, which made him giggle.

"Stop, grampa Noble."

"Grampa? You make me feel old," Noble Heart chuckled, "What did Take Care say?"

Brave Heart set Thankful down to let him explore, "she said he's perfectly healthy after a year. He's growing slower than we though but that's probably for the best."

They watched Thankful wander around the room, asking what everyone was doing and getting simple answers.

"Good, so everything's ready to go ahead." Noble Heart nodded, "Tenderheart and Grumpy are overseeing the setup of the big rides and games while Bright Heart and Grams are getting the kiddy corner set up in the old castle."

"Hope there's enough for room for all the new cubs." Brave Heart watched as Thankful sat down to watch the older bear.

"Be more worried about the workload, we might have to put Caring Missions on hold if this works out too well." Noble Heart said. "Swift Heart's sending out the invitations to the children as we speak. I just hope their parents don't..."

"I know, but their parents are why we're doing this. I can't bear to think about what Thankful's life was like before I rescued him. He needed a new start." Brave Heart's gaze became sorrowful.

"It's thanks to you we're even doing this, don't worry about that." Noble Heart clapped Brave Heart on his back. "The Care Bears Regression Fair is good to go."

OoOoO

The day of the fair arrived with Tenderheart taking attendance. The children with abusive and neglectful parents had been given invitations and told to keep it a secret as their parents would likely try to stop them. Most of the Care Bear Family had gone to pick them up in cloud cars while Grumpy, Bright Heart, Grams and Wish Bear did last-minute safety checks on everything.

Take Care Bear stood near the landing site, counting and naming each child and teenager that disembarked and telling them to wait until everyone arrived so they could open.

Brave Heart had Thankful Heart in his arms as he looked at Take Care's tablet over her shoulder. "How many so far?"

"37 so far," Take Care looked up, "No stroller?"

"It's folded up over there if I need it," Brave Heart nodded to the folded stroller nearby, "But I think Thankful and I are going to have fun too."

"That's fine," Take Care nodded then looked up as Cozy Heart landed a car with a young girl in the passenger seat and Swift Heart with two teenagers. "That makes 40."

Tenderheart was taking the names of the children and the few teenagers who had arrived, "Jack, Brian, Amber, Joaquin, Terrence, Mikey..." He looked at the two oldest, the teenagers who had just arrived with Swift Heart. "And you two are?"

"Samantha," the rather short scrawny girl said. She looked about four years younger than she actually was.

"Daniel," the boy idly scratched his chest.

Tenderheart repeated their names, "I think that's the last of them." As he spoke Take Care was handing out name tags for everyone to stick on their shirts.

"How many invitations did we send out?" Brave Heart had walked over to Tenderheart.

"One-hundred and twenty, only a third showed up. They were probably too scared or their parents found out and stopped them." Tenderheart sighed.

"I had to sneak away last night," Samantha spoke up, "I slept in the park where Swift Heart picked us up."

"I'm surprised you don't stink," Daniel muttered.

"It was hard to get away, but Cozy Heart helped," Amber, a ten-year-old girl, spoke.

"What if my dad finds me here?" Brian, a nine-year-old boy, asked.

True Heart had been checking the children as Brian spoke and stood in front of him, both about the same height. "Don't worry, Brian, your father will never know you were here."

Brian blushed at seeing his favorite Care Bear up close, "You mean it?"

"I promise," True Heart gave Brian a hug, "Now just wait and listen to Noble Heart." She left Brian smiling and blushing as Noble Heart stepped onto a small crate to address everyone.

"Welcome, everyone, to the Care Fair." Noble Heart gestured back to the collection of rides games and concession stands behind him. "I know all of you have problems at home with your parents but don't worry. Have fun, play games, enjoy the rides and eat whatever you want and don't worry. I promise your parents won't know you were here and they won't hurt you."

"ever again," Brave Heart whispered as he set Thankful down. There was a middling cheer of excitement from the children as they headed into the fair grounds.

"Daddy, can I play?" Thankful tugged on Brave Heart's arm.

Brave Heart smiled, "Of course, let's go."

Treat Heart was in charge of the snack pavilion in the middle of the whole setup and she waved to the approaching kids. "Get snacks here, I have popcorn, cotton candy, caramel apples, mini doughnuts and drinks: lemonade..." She went on listing everything as she started serving the kids, some of whom had never been allowed to eat candy or drink anything their parents would consider unhealthy. Their moods brightened up considerably as they munched on the food and guzzled juice and pop in large cups, feeling a pleasant warmth spread through them the more they ate and started to disperse to the rides and games.

Daniel only grabbed a medium sized peach drink while Amber half-heartedly licked a chocolate ice cream cone, starting to feel a bit calmer. Samantha devoured a candy apple and wiped the goo off her fingers on a wet napkin Treat Heart was all too happy to provide.

She grinned, her voice dropping slightly for a moment, "I never got to go to the exhibition before!" Her voice pitched up as she spoke. She grinned then darted off to the Ferris wheel.

Daniel finished his drink and tossed the empty cup in a nearby garbage can before heading to the carnival games. He stopped next to another boy who was tossing darts at balloons, only managing to hit one after throwing six darts.

Swift Heart darted in front of the boy with a huge grin, "Go ahead, try again Andrew. And you, Daniel?"

Daniel stared at Swift Heart for a moment then nodded, "Sure, let me try." Swift Heart dropped three darts in front of him then disappeared to run another game booth. "I guess if you need someone to run every game booth..." Daniel mused before he tossed a dart, popping one of the balloons.

Amber was feeling better as she finished eating her ice cream, stuffing the last of the cone into her mouth as she reached the bumper cars, seven of the other children lined up, including a young boy named Joaquin, while Champ Bear stood at the entrance.

"Alright, sports fans," Champ opened the gate, "Find a car and wait for me to start the ride. Don't worry you can't hurt anyone." He moved to the controls as the kids each ran to sit in a car.

Amber started to feel eager as she darted to the first unoccupied car and sat impatiently waiting for Champ to start the ride. It came with a sudden jolt as the car sprang to life. Amber turned and immediately slammed into a boy's car near her only to get hit from the side by a girl who had started near her. Amber's apprehension evaporated as she got absorbed in the ride, the bumps not bothering her at all.

Champ watched with satisfaction, keeping an eye on the children as he spotted tufts of colored fur begin to sprout on their arms and faces.

A 15-year-old boy named Jack wandered around, munching on what he could and taking any ride available. He ended up at the miniature roller coaster (one small enough to break down and transport) in line with Brave Heart and Thankful Heart while Tenderheart was at the controls.

"Hi!" Thankful Heart beamed at Jack, "Wanna ride with us?"

"Yes!" Jack finished off the cotton candy, his fifth one so far, and smiled back. "Who are you."

"My son, Thankful Heart Wolf." Brave Heart smiled, noticing yellow fur starting to sprout on Jack's exposed forearms and how his t-shirt and sweats were looking noticeably baggier. "I'll ride with you."

"Yay!" Thankful was boosted into and barred into his seat by his father while Jack got in the seat behind them. Tenderheart took notice then started up the coaster. It was a short loop but it still made them throw up their arms even on the short drops.

Brian and Mikey were insatiable. Every time they finished whatever snack they had picked up and played a game or taken a short ride they ran back to Treat Heart for more snacks. Treat Heart took notice of them and two more children who were indulging to the same excess; all four had lost several inches of height and once she had a moment she added to their tallies to show how much each child had eaten, noticing the fur sprouting up on their faces they hadn't noticed.

Despite how much they had eaten and drank, Brian and Mikey didn't need to use the bathroom even as they approached the water gun game. Swift Heart appeared in a gust of wind. "Are you ready?"

"Yes!" Mikey said.

"I am!" Brian raised a hand that had held an ice cream cone until a moment ago.

"Great, take your places and shoot the targets, you too?" Swift Heart said to another boy, named Paul, who had just joined them.

"Yes please," Paul nodded. Swift Heart noted that all three boys' ears had started moving up their heads, fur sprouting on their ears and arms and Paul's ears looking slightly longer.

"Alright. Ready... Go!" the bell rang as all three boys shot their water guns at the targets as Swift Heart disappeared to another booth.

A girl named Violet was at a ring toss, throwing rings over the targets, she had to really try to hit the target as it seemed father away than before. Swift Heart appeared in front of her and grinned. Violet's ears had turned blue and had moved to the top of her head right as she hooked the target.

"Great job. Want to go again?" Swift Heart offered.

Violet shook her head, "Going on the swings." She walked away after picking up and finished her drink.

A boy named Terrence was in line for the swings that Cheer was attending. She smiled at him, seeing Terrence scratch at his arm where blue and purple scales had formed as his ears were shrinking. Violet joined the line with six other children, none of whom noticed their own height loss or fur growth.

"Alright everyone, on to the swings!" Cheer beamed at them as they all crowded in to grab a seat. Cheer waited until they were all safely strapped in before she started the ride. The kids shouted and let out screams of excitement as they spun around. Cheer smirked as she just barely caught the changes, more fur sprouting across their bodies, ears either moving up their heads (or vanishing into small holes for Terrence) and heart shaped stamps appearing on the tips of their noses, which were beginning to spread out.

Paul found one ride that wasn't currently active: the log flume. Gentle Heart perked up as the boy approached her, his ears still growing longer as white fur spread across his face and about a foot shorter than when he entered. "Hello, Paul. Want to ride?"

Paul looked uneasy at the ride, "Will I get splashed?"

Gentle Heart nodded, "Yes, but that's part of the fun. Don't be scared." She held out a hand. Paul smiled and accepted her hand as she led him to the log and helped him strap in. "Watch your feet," she couldn't help but giggle as she noticed his shoes were looking tight.

Paul smiled but held his breath as the log rode up to the top of the flume only to let out a cry of excitement as it plunged downwards. The shock of he cold water numbing him to his new large bunny feet bursting through his shoes and his ears finally reaching their maximum length, covered in white fur.

Gentle Heart let him come to a stop right as a heart shaped stamp appeared on his nose, his clothes now were but still hanging off him more than before. "Want to go again?" she double checked now that no one else was waiting to get on.

"Yes! Please! Again!" Paul was becoming giddy.

Gentle Heart secured him more tightly, "Alright, here you go." She threw the lever and sent him up again as the fur spread to his face and to his hands.

Samantha had stayed on the Ferris Wheel for an hour, just letting the wind blow by her as she rode up to the top, stopping at the apex as Grumpy let someone else off as she started to doze. She was feeling oddly tingly even as the wind rustled through her fur.

Wait... fur?

Samantha was jolted out of her trance and sat up as the wheel started to move again. She stared down at herself, underneath the now much tighter t-shirt and shorts she had been wearing she had sprouted bright green fur over her body and her feet (she had gone barefoot) now looked almost like... dog paws? She reached up and felt her now much larger triangular ears moving up the sides of her head as the wheel came to stop at the bottom.

"Let me off!" Samantha demanded as she staggered to her feet (paws?) in the swaying circular bench and managed to stumble on to stable ground.

Grumpy Bear moved to help her stand but stared as she had gained almost a foot in height. "That's... unexpected."

"What, you tricking us into being changed into Care Bears?!" Samantha and Grumpy turned to see Daniel stalking towards them. His clothes baggier on his smaller frame and holding his arms across his chest like he would drop something if he moved them. His face was covered in black and white striped fur that was rapidly moving down to his nose as he lost height until he was only half-a-head taller than Grumpy Bear and his jeans fell down around his feet.

"What's going on?!" the shout came from Amber who was trying to reach them, panic stamped on her face as her clothes became looser and looser and her steps started to get shorter as turquoise feathers were spreading across her body and her ears shrank down to nothing. She stepped out of her sandals and tried to take a long step but fell forwards and hit the clouds with a soft *whump*. "I can't feel my legs!" She shouted, not seeing as her feet changed into three-toed claws webs. She tried to push herself up but found her hands unresponsive, her fingers losing feeling and as she stared they fused together into one long flipper...wing... thing. Her mouth and nose started to feel numb and hard, fusing together into a single yellow beak with a red heart stamp on the end.

Amber was crying, trying and failing to stand until a purple wing took hold of her own.

"Don't worry, it'sssss going to be alright."

Amber looked up into the smiling face of Cozy Heart Penguin, who helped her to her new feet. "I didn't exxxpect any other penguinssss."

"I'm a penguin?" Amber only had her now very baggy shirt on, which Cozy helped her to remove so she could get a good look at herself. She did indeed look like a Care Bear Cousin Penguin, much like Cozy Heart only a bit shorter and with turquoise feathers instead of purple. "What did you do to us?!" panic was starting to rise in her voice.

"Yeah, tell us what's going on right now!" Daniel's changes seemed to have finished, turning him into a badger though with oddly wide hips. He seemed to want to reach for Grumpy Bear but instead kept his arms pressed to his own chest.

"We're just trying to help you," Grumpy took a deep breath, knowing what was coming.

"How is this helping, uggg," Samantha grunted. Unlike every other child she was actually gaining height and mass and her worn out clothing was threatening to split apart as the pressure increased.

Grumpy sighed, why did it have to come to him to explain this to the only ones to become lucid about their changes. "Look all of you came from abusive homes and we weren't able to help you through human means. Brave Heart came up with a solution to help abused children and us and after he tried this on another human child we decided to get as many of you together as we could and help you escape your families' abuse and give you new homes as Care Bear cubs but..." he looked them over, "You're not any younger. How little did you eat from the snack bar?"

"A candy apple, that's it," Samantha was starting to sweat as she felt her new tail poking the inside of her shorts and her muzzle start to push out.

"Just a chocolate ice cream cone," Amber was taking deep breaths to try and stay calm.

"Just a drink," Daniel scowled, "What does that have to do with this?"

Grumpy took a deep breath. "The thing that's changing you is an elixir Bright Heart created that causes the transformation when exposed to Care Bear Stare or Cousin Call energy. There's a drop of the elixir in all the food here and with us running the rides we were able to make all of them emit the same energy as the stare. One tiny dose is enough to change someone into a Care Bear or Cousin if they're exposed to Stare energy soon after they eat it and the more you drink the more you... get younger."

"Younger?!" All three shouted.

"But with just one dose you're going to stay the same age you are now, and once your transformation is finished it won't affect you anymore. Everyone else who pigged out is going to end up a cub or younger. It's also supposed to make you... not notice anything unusual, make you feel relaxed and comfortable but you three didn't take enough for that to happen so here you are."

"Why did you do this to us?! Why didn't you ask us?!" Amber was starting to freak out again.

Cozy took Amber's new wings in her own. "We're ssssorry we didn't tell you. But," Cozy turned to look at Daniel and the still changing Samantha, "Do you want to go back to your parentssss?"

Daniel huffed, "I don't think they'll even notice I'm gone."

"No!" Amber shook he head.

"No way I, urraaaaggh!" Samantha let out a grunt as the tightness of her old clothes became too much.

Daniel stared in amazement and pointed, "Samantha, what's happening to your chest."

"Miiine? What about youuuu?" Samantha panted as two bulges formed on her chest under the shirt.

"What? Oh crap!" Daniel had pulled his arms away from his chest and his baggy shirt vaguely showed the outlines of two breasts.

Grumpy blinked, "What the heck? Wait I thought you were a boy."

Before Daniel could retort Samantha let out a gasp and her hands shot to her crotch. "They're gone!" her shout was accompanied by her shorts and t-shirt tearing open and falling to scraps on the ground as her transformation finished. Samantha stood there, as a green coyote feeling her new breasts and wide hips, then grinned. "I'm a woman? I'm a woman!" She jumped in the air and let out a loud bark of joy.

Daniel stared at her, "I thought you were a woman!"

"I was! I mean," Samantha was too euphoric to be mad, "I was born a man and that's what my parents assigned to me. But I always felt like I was living in the wrong body so when they let me go to public school I decided to be a girl." She grinned, "I actually got everyone to see me that way and now it's real!" She did a spin, somehow staying balanced despite her new form.

"And your parents malnourished you so much, yeesh you got bigger as a Care Bear somehow," Daniel said.

Samantha stopped and looked at Daniel, "So I thought you were a man or... are you trans too?"

"No." Daniel tried to fold his arms over his breasts then sighed and let his arms drop to his sides, "I'm intersex, I was born with both so... yeah... that's it."

"Looksss like the elixxxer makesss you into your ideal sssself, assss a Care Bear," Cozy giggled.

"Yes!" Samantha hugged herself, "I feel like the real me. What about you?" she turned to Daniel.

"I guess... I don't know what I'm supposed to be. I'm a man but," Daniel held out his hands, "I never felt my female stuff was wrong... I just was afraid how everyone would react."

"Well don't worry about that," Grumpy said, "You'll have plenty of time to find out what that means up here. But I guess since you three are lucid you should pick new names for yourselves."

"Well I had to be sneaky for no one to know I was born male and to get here so..." the coyote grinned, "I'm Crafty Heart Coyote." As she spoke the words her tummy glowed and her symbol appeared, a heart shaped jigsaw puzzle with the top right piece missing.

Daniel had to think for a moment, "I guess... my whole existence defies what people consider normal." He pulled off his shirt and saw his now black and white fur, "and I'm not all colorful so call me Defiant Heart Badger." A bright glow and Defiant Heart's symbol appeared: a pirate flag with a heart over crossed swords.

Amber had calmed down, taking deep breaths with Cozy's assurance. "I just want to live here in peace for now, so call me Peaceful Heart Penguin." A bright flash and Peaceful Heart's symbol appeared: A heart shaped peace symbol. Peaceful Heart smiled, tried to take a step then fell on her face again. She sighed sadly as Cozy helped her up, "If I can figure out how to walk, and hold things."

"Don't worry, I'll sssshow you the ropesss of being a penguin." Cozy took Peaceful's wing in her own. "Firsssst lessssssson. Don't try to take long sssstrides, you need to just make sssshort sssstepssss." Cozy demonstrated as she swung her foot forwards, then the other, "You jussst need to learn to waddle. And if you ssssslip the cloudsss are ssso sssssoft."

"Alright." Peaceful wobbled but managed to take a step but didn't move her second leg fast enough and fell sideways and on to her back. "Am I going to start whistling every 's' I make?"

"No, that's just Cozy's speech impediment." Grumpy said.

"I think it'ssss cute." Cozy helped Peaceful up again, "I'll ssshow you everything. Now that you're all Care Bear Coousssin you can eat the food here without worrying. Once you can waddle with me to Treat Heart I'll sssshow you how to hold thingssss with your wing."

Defiant and Crafty watched the two penguins waddle off, Peaceful taking a couple more tumbles as they walked.

"I think I'm going to stick around here for a while, just eat and... process," Defiant said.

"So where are all the other kids going?" Crafty asked.

Grumpy pointed to the nearby Caring Castle, "They're going to be gathered in there, if you want to go and see."

Crafty grinned, "I think I will!" She skipped off towards the castle, relishing the feeling of her breasts bouncing just to remind her they were there now.

"She's adapted fast." Defiant smiled, "But I can see why. It's nice to be paid attention to and not have to hide what I am."

While this was going on, Jack had finished his transformation into a yellow jaguar with purple spots. As he stepped off the roller coaster, Jack felt his pants and underwear fall down around his ankles which made him trip and fall flat on his face.

"Are you alright?" Brave Heart helped Jack to stand, pulling off his far-to-baggy shirt in the process.

"Yeah I'm yow!" Jack finally got a look at himself, "What happened to me?!"

"You changed into a cat!" Thankful pointed at the new Care Bear Cousin.

"Yeah, sorry we didn't tell you," Brave Heart scooped Thankful up into his arms, "But we found a way to keep your family form coming after you. How do you feel?"

"Fuzzy, and warm and... My tail feels weird." Jack grabbed his tail and stroked the fur. "Do I get a new name?"

"Of course," Brave Heart nodded, "So what's your new name?"

Jack had to think for a moment, "Enthusiastic Heart Jaguar!" as he spoke his tummy symbol appeared: a heart shaped red firework explosion.

"Sounds great. You don't seem to be shrinking any more," Brave Heart looked him up and down. "Want to keep going on the rides. It's safe now that you're finished transforming."

"Yes!" Enthusiastic beamed before running off to find something.

Thankful yawned as Brave Heart retrieved his stroller and strapped him in, "Want to take a nap?"

"Yes, daddy," Thankful yawned again as he slumped in the stroller seat.

All over the Care Fair grounds, the children who had arrived as humans were being led towards the caring castle, leaving a trail of clothing that was now too baggy to fit.

Grams stood at the entrance of the castle and looked at the first one in line, Joaquin, who had changed into a young sandy furred bear cub with a baggy t-shirt still covering most of his body.

"Oh my, that doesn't seem right. Here," Grams carefully pulled the t-shirt of Shimmers and tossed to start a pile of clothes, "I think you need something else too." She picked up Joaquin and lifted him onto a changing table.

Joaquin saw Grams pulling a cloth diaper out and he tried to get away, "No! I'm not a baby!"

"But you are a cub," Grams tittered as she easily fastened the padded cloth diaper around his bottom. Nearby Wish, True Heart and Love-a-Lot were doing the same to every child that came in, all of them shorter than the rest of the Care Bears and Cousins present, before ushering them into the play area.

The castle's large ground floor room was full of children's toys and a small carousel merry-go-round small enough to fit inside. Despite the complaints of some about being diapered the new cubs were drawn to the entertainment as memories of their old lives dwindled in their heads.

Violet, now a dark and light blue panda immediately went to the art supplies, not bothering with the paintbrush she dipper her fingers in the paint and started drawing them on the canvas. Playful Heart Monkey came by to watch her for a moment then saw what looked like a purple paint splotch appear around her right eye.

"Be careful with that, don't want paint in your eye." Playful grabbed a paper towel and lifted the panda's face up to wipe away the splotch, only for it to stay stuck there. "Wow, that's part of your fur. Maybe we should call you Artistic Heart? Nah too plain." He watched her finger painting for a moment longer, "How about Muse Heart Panda?" as if in response, her symbol appeared in a flash: a heart-shaped paint pallet with a paintbrush across it. Playful watched and was startled to see Muse Heart was still shrinking.

Treat Heart took that moment to burst in, accidentally pushing past Crafty Heart before she could enter. "I have the list of how much they ate." She handed it to Grams Bear.

"How much they ate?" Playful Heart sounded confused.

"Yeah." Treat Heart panted slightly from having run all the way, "The more of the snacks they ate and drank before they finished changing the younger they're going to get."

"Good thing I only had the one." Crafty Heart crouched down to pick up Mikey, who had turned into a Yellow-Green coyote and was shrinking even smaller.

True Heart was watching Brian, who chose to play by her feet, only for his hands to lose grip on the toys he was trying to play with as he continued to regress.

"Four of them ate too much, they won't be able to survive the effects," Grams surveyed the room and pointed to the cubs who were shrinking the fastest, "Mikey, Brian, Joy and Jeffery."

"Don't worry, I accounted for this," Bright Heart emerged from the kitchen with a bag in his hand, letting Treat Heart take over kitchen duties. Bright Heart opened the bag and pulled four corked glass vials full of clear liquid out of the padded interior. "Hurry, drink this." He handed the first to Crafty Heart before hurriedly handing the last three to True Heart then Love-a-Lot and Cheer, who had picked up Joy and Jeffery.

Crafty pulled the cork out with her teeth and downed the contents, "Mmm, fizzy. Oh wow!" Crafty felt her body tingling all over until with a loud *POP!* Mikey vanished in a flash of light and Crafty found herself cradling a huge belly and larger breasts. "Haaa, what the?" She looked around at True Heart as she drank her own potion then started quivering in the same way and with another *POP!* Brian the bear cub disappeared in a flash of light and True Heart stood there, stroking her own taut belly and with now visibly swollen breasts and a contented look on her face.

Two more *POP!*s left Cheer and Love-a-lot in the same state with blissful looks on their faces. "What happened, oh!" Crafty felt her belly squirming as Take Care, who had arrived in the midst of this, came over to check her with an ophthalmoscope.

"I'll need to see you four for a check-up but it looks like it worked." She stood back, "Congratulations, you're pregnant."

"Pregnant?" Crafty ran her hands over her taut belly.

Bright Heart stepped in, "There was a risk if any of them consumed too much of my regression elixir they would have regressed to a state where they couldn't survive outside a womb, so I had to come up with this contingency." He gave Crafty a regretful look, "Sorry, I didn't have time to let you pass Mikey off to someone else... sorry, what's your name?"

"It's Crafty Heart Coyote," she unexpectedly beamed at Bright Heart, her hands resting on her stretched out tummy symbol, "You know what, I love this! I feel so... motherly and full of life! I feel like I'm glowing!"

"Well that's good," True Heart winced and rubbed her pregnant belly, "Brian was so happy to spent time with me I know he's going to love being my son. Welcome to the Care Bear Family, Crafty Heart."

Take Care's no-nonsense voice cut through the revelry, "Alright, let's get you four new mothers to the clinic. I need to make sure this is stable. Bright Heart how long are they going to be pregnant?"

Bright Heart had pulled up some notes on his table, "Well about nine months but they're going to be stuck at full term the whole time. They need time to stabilize the unborn cubs but they're bodies aren't going to revert to a smaller size in that meantime. There might be permanent... swelling as well."

Crafty reached up and cupped her heavy breasts, "I'm fine with that." Then she whispered, "I promise I'll be a better parent," She rubbed her tummy protectively.

"We'll look into that too, let's get going." Take Care all but ushered them out of the to door to a waiting cloud ambulance.

"As for the rest." Bright Heart pulled up the list of children Treat Heart had been keeping track of the snacks on and looked around the room, "Based on this, four of them remained lucid from not eating too much, twelve ate enough to be regressed down to cubs and the last 20 are going to be babies, in addition to the four that had to be unbirthed." He looked over Muse Heart Panda was continuing to shrink down, flailing her arms as Playful wiped paint from her fingers before letting the new baby suck her thumb, her diaper having tightened and become more padded as she shrunk, much like it was for the other 19 children shrinking down to infants.

Treat Heart emerged with a large trolley of food and blue baby bottles and the Care Bears still there started looking after their new family members. The 20 infant bears and cousins were bundled up into cribs and each given a bottle of formula to drink while those still old enough to walk were picked up and strapped into high-chairs at tables before being given food.

Gentle Heart cooed at Paul as she held him in her arms, he was now a white rabbit cousin named Vanity Heart Bunny with a heart shaped glass panel for a tummy symbol. She looked over at Noble Heart, "Noble Heart, do you mind if I adopt Vanity Heart." She looked down at the rabbit nuzzling up to her woolly chest, "We've grown rather attached to each other."

Noble Heart nodded, "If you think you can handle him alone. We'll all be looking after these new cubs."

"Of course," Gentle Heart stroked Vanity's ears gently, "Don't worry, Vanity, I'll take good care of you."

"Then I think I'll look after, I think I'll call you Shimmeringstar Bear," Wish Bear tickled the now sandy-furred bear cub under his chin which made him giggle and a bright flash of light revealed his tummy symbol, a three pointed star.

Shimmers giggled "Heehee! I love you Wish."

"And I love you, Shimmers," Wish scooped him up, carefully patting his padded bottom before she started tickling him new tummy symbol, which made him shriek with laughter.

Noble Heart watched Terrence, who had been renamed Soothing Heart Gecko, with purple and blue scales, and asked, "Soothing Heart, do you remember where you were this morning?"

Soothing paused for a moment, mouth half-full of food, "Uhhhh... at da park?" he asked.

"Nothing else?" Noble Heart inquired. Soothing just shook his head. Similar questions were going around with the other cubs still old enough to talk. The plan had worked! None of them remembered their abusive or neglectful families, ones that would beat, abuse or just ignore them. If they even remembered their lost children existed there would be no trace of them to follow and the children would be much happier up here as new members of the Care Bear Family.
