Homecoming

Egad's Castle...

Fifteen Minutes Later...

Mick landed Foxtail-1 on the designated landing pad in the castle grounds, touching down gently with its Vertical Take Off and Landing system consisting of gravity diffusers and thrusters. Once the ship had landed, Mick cut the sub-light engines, and powered down the rest of the ship's propulsion systems. Then, he shut down the rest of the ship's systems and powered down the warp core after deploying the boarding ramp.

"There we go." Mick said, unbuckling from his seat, looking at Chaos while Symon treated his injuries with his medical kit. "How did I do?"

"To be honest, you have exceeded all of my expectations, Mick." Chaos said, unbuckling from his seat, smiling as his burns were numbed, disinfected, treated, and covered with ointment while Symon bandaged them up. "...How bad is it, Doctor?" Chaos said, looking at Symon.

"You were lucky, to be honest." Symon said. "The burns are barely second-degree, only superficial. You will fully heal, with no scarring or marks. Though due to how they were caused, I can see how they would be painful. Starship burns caused by exploding bulkheads, conduits, and instrument panels can have that effect due to the materials they are made of. No worries, though. Your demon blood will accelerate the healing process for sure, and the fur will grow back in those areas, also. Just make sure to keep checking in with me every night so I can check up on the burns and apply new ointment and bandages."

"Good to hear. I will do that, thanks Symon." Chaos said. He got up out of his seat, following Mick and Symon through the cabin to the boarding ramp. They stepped off the ship and walked through the grounds to the castle's side entrance with the rest of the group. Mick noticed that Eli was still unconscious, being carried by Xen, and Silva was walking without his hand or leg irons next to Galen, showing no hostility. One of the guards opened the door, welcoming Egad and the rest of the coven back.

"Welcome home, sir." The guard said.

"Thank you." Egad replied. "I trust that everything has been kept up in our absence?"

"Yes, sir." The guard said. "Things have been running as if you were never gone. We have been taking orders from Codec, as instructed by Galen after they departed to rescue you whenyou were kidnapped. He has also updated us on the additions of Tommy, Bishop, and Gareth Jaren. Codec also requested that once you and the Elite Gallery return that you all join him in the Citadel Room. He says he has a surprise to show you, sir."

Egad patted the guard on the shoulder. "Thank you, my good man. You may resume your previous activities."

With that, everyone walked into the castle. They went through a few corridors to the staircase that led up to Egad's quarters. After ascending the stairs and arriving at Egad's room, Egad turned the torch sconce near his vanity and opened the hidden door to the stairs that led to the Citadel Room. They all went down the stairs and were at the Citadel room a few moments later.

"I'm home, Codec!" Egad called out in a friendly tone.

"Welcome back, Master!" Codec replied, the main terminal in the room lighting up. "Jolly good to see you alive and well! I've taken the liberty of keeping things in order while you have been gone by connecting to the castle's main data center and broadcasting commands to the guards via their headsets."

"Thank you, Codec." Egad said. "That's good to hear. I also hear that you have a surprise you wanted to show me?"

"A surprise to show all of the coven, to be truthful." Codec said. "Master, remember that biomechanical cyborg body we have been working on? For me to transfer my AI personality program to, while still being able to manage the castle's supercomputers and data center?"

"Yes." Egad nodded. "We had just finished your body's main assembly and ran diagnostics. It passed testing with flying colors, all you needed to do was decide on what species you wanted it to be, along with personal looks. Those decisions I left up to you."

"Yeah." Codec said. "I've been giving those decisions a good amount of thought when I have had spare processing time. I came to a decision and had my species and look preferences applied last week, after some thorough research. I want to show you right now if it isn't too much trouble..."

Egad smiled. "It's no trouble at all, Codec. I'm looking forward to seeing what species you chose, and what look you came up with."

"Very good sir. To be honest, my circuits are now quivering with anticipation!" Codec said gleefully. "Now, without further ado, allow me to present myself..."

The terminal screen went blank. Then, a nearby wall slid open like a door with a pressurized hiss, some steam coming from the seals. After a few seconds, the steam cleared. Then, a figure walked out from the darkness, into the light.

Standing in the light, was a very handsome Egyptian jackal with shiny, midnight-black fur, standing at a height of seven feet and two inches. His body build was like Tommy's: Strong and chiseled, lean with a well-built chest and six-pack abs. His arms and legs also showed clear definition, with good-sized biceps, and strong forearms. His legs were solid as well, adorned with muscled thighs and calves that looked like they were sculpted out of clay. His physique was strong and defined, slightly bulkier than Tommy, but not as much as Galen, Uniko, or Zhal. His black-furred body bore bright, golden tattoos consisting of a combination of hieroglyphs and mana symbols on the left side of his chest, covering the entire left pectoral, as well as tattooed rings around his upper arms and thighs that went all the way around, the irises of his eyes colored a sapphire blue. His face also bore some similar features: His eyebrows and eyelids were copper-colored and were surrounded by gold Egyptian markings. As for the Jackal's clothing, it was also heavily influenced by ancient Egyptian design: he wore a beige and blue decorative loincloth with a dark, crimson thong underneath in the ancient style with a large bulge, the loincloth held up by a red waist tie. The loincloth was long in the front, going down to his knees, adorned with colorful beads. Unlike the traditional ancient Egyptian style, however, he did not wear any wrappings around his waist, leaving his rear completely bare and exposed. The Jackal also wore traditional ancient Egyptian accessories: He wore a headdress with a blue and silver pattern, as well as a silver neck piece. His neck was adorned with a gold coven inhibitor collar and three bronze chain necklaces, one of them bearing a silver-colored ankh. The Jackal also wore coven manacles on his wrists and ankles, colored gold as well.

"I hope I didn't go too extreme with the jewelry, sir..." Codec said, his voice coming from the jackal's body, sounding more organic than synthesized. "So, how do I look?" He stood with his hands behind his back, butler-style.

Egad grinned, letting out a slight erotic growl as he walked around Codec. "You look like an ancient Egyptian sex god, and I love it."

Codec blushed a little with a smile. "Well, my looks, fashion, and species choices were heavily influenced by Anubis. Anyway, I'm glad you approve and adore, Master. I have also been saving a live test of my, erm... Intercourse part additions for when you got back."

"Intercourse?! You mean you can have sex?!" Hatred blurted out in surprise.

"Yeah." Codec answered in a simple tone. "I am capable of sexual activity, both in male and female ways, since this body was designed and outfitted with Hermaphrodite characteristics."

Egad's grin widened, lust shining in his eyes. "Yes, I remember you mentioning that. Just one more thing to do..." Egad raised a hand and quietly uttered a small spell, a light going from his hand and around Codec's collar before combining with it as the collar shined with light for a few seconds. "There. Now your collar will function the same as everyone else's."

"Thank you, Master." Codec said with a polite bow. "I'm honored."

"The honor is mine, Codec." Egad replied. "Well, if you wish to test your intercourse capabilities, why not do it now? Come... Let us all go back up to my quarters, and help Codec discover what his new body can do, as well as how it feels."

"...If you don't mind, Uncle, me and Xen will tend to Eli and Silva." Mick said as Xen laid Eli down in a vacant chair. "Do you want us all to wait in here until you are done with Codec's trial run?"

Egad chuckled. "That is perfectly fine, Mick. Just don't try to start any fights with Silva, please."

"No worries, Uncle. I won't." Mick said. "After all, since he's now free of Cailus, I would like to sit down and talk, see if I could get to know him while he waits for some clothes."

"Uh... Sure, no problem. We could do that, Mick." Silva said, scratching the back of his head. "To be honest, I would prefer to wait here until I can get some clothing, as well as help tend to Eli. Even though Cailus partnered us up, I don't know a lot about him, since Cailus wouldn't tell me anything. That, and he hardly said a word, even after we were paired up."

"Very well." Egad said. "Just relax and wait here."

"...And please don't try to go rifling through the supercomputers, Xen." Codec said. "Don't say you weren't thinking about it, either. I saw that look in your eye when you saw the main terminal, as well as your expression. I assure you, when we come back down here, I will gladly show you everything."

Xen's face went blank at that statement. "...Okay. I guess I'm busted in that sense."
