United for Ukraine - Story Donation giveaway
As the headline says, I would like to help the situation in the Ukraine as much as I can.
When the Covid Pandemic struck, I was directly involved, taking samples and working as much as I could to try and keep the pandemic contained, discovered fast etc. I spent considerable hours each day, partially in front of companies in full blown hazard gear, testing people as fast and as much as possible, as long as I worked in my old company. I worked until I collapsed from exhaustion and had some time to recover a little after I had to quit my job for those reasons.
However, I must confess, that people out there, in need of help and with no way out, still stirs me into wanting to help.
Since at the moment, I am not immediately involved in any actual hands-on work, I would like to donate some money to the Red Cross (Germany, since I am German) so that professionals will be able to provide the people people in immediate danger and need with the help they most urgently need.
In that regard, I would like to combine a giveaway story and combine it with a donation from myself that I will add on top of the highest bid.

This weekend (26.-27th of February), I would like to auction off a story of your choosing.

Highest bidder wins. The money will go straight to the Red Cross.
Starting bid will be 50€, Euro further bids may vary.
On Sunday the 27th at 23:59 GMT+1 the bidding phase will end and I will check for winners and contact them. Should the payment not commence the next day (before I start working on the story), The second bidder will win and so on.

Now, this is the first time, that I am doing something like this, I hope it goes as planned and that there will be people interested in helping me helping Ukraine. I know, that I am not the most popular or successful author here, so I will already be grateful if anyone is interested or reads this on time. But it would be great to actually make it.

You know, I know, that shit happens out there all the time. I have been in enough shit myself to know exactly how some situations feel. And I know, that sometimes it is impossible to get out of that shit hole that you yourself or someone else has dug for you, simply because sometimes it seems like you are sitting at the bottom of a Mount Everest sized hole.
But I also know, that, even though there is shit out there, there is also good people out there. And when these good people reach out, amazing things can happen. If you feel it in your heart, please share it wherever you like, so maybe some people that are interested, can see it.
