As she watched the sun begin to peak over the horizon, she couldn't help look around her room. Within easy reach is her great scimitar, Godslayer. She grins as she remembers the day she truly began her journey in life and the events that lead her to getting the sword during a moment in time when her mind wasn't right that turned into a monumental change in her life. But that was years after the day she truly started to live....
Her eyes shifted back and forth as she surveyed the land from her perch halfway up a tree, hunting. The smell of a fresh rain and mud, the feeling of the light wind through her tangled matted hair. Her mind wandered over the past five years of her banishment. There, movement, a bush shook as a small animal crawled out from its burrow. "You're mine," she thought as she settled down to swoop in and grab it for a quick meal. As she prepares to launch herself at the unsuspecting prey, a movement out of the corner of her eye stopped her. It was a young black dragoness wielding a bow. She growled softly at the intruder and prepared to attack the new dragoness, but stop when the dragoness turned to her right and saw a particular scar running along the other female's neck. It was three horizontal stripes, scars Sara herself had given to the other female many years ago.
"Rachel?" she said in disbelief, the word carried by the wind to the other dragoness' ears. "Who's there?" Rachel asked as she looked around for the speaker. "Show yourself." Sara drew her stone knife, not knowing what to do now that the trespasser now that someone else knew she was here. Sara silently sat in her tree until she had an idea of what do. She jumped down onto the back of the black dragoness and placed her knife against the trespassers neck. "What are you doing way out here, chwaer?" she growled into the others ear. "Who are you?" Rachel asked in surprise at the knife to her throat. "I am the Banished One," she growled back, "Now answer the question, anfonwr." Sara presses the knife harder into the black dragoness' neck, drawing a bead of blood. "I was hunting, please don't kill me," she whimpered back, terrified. "You don't recognize me, chwaer ffrind?" Sara whispered into Rachel's ear. "Sara?" she muttered in disbelief as she tried to roll over but was stopped by the knife to her throat, "Is it really you?" Sara growled back, "Yes, chwaer ffrind, it's me the Banished One; Sara." Rachel again tried to roll over but was denied by a quick elbow from Sara to her shoulders. "We all thought you had died," she said after the elbow. "I did die. I was raped, humiliated, and cast out. A death sentence for one as young as I. Yet here I am, alive and well." A sob escaped Sara as she gets off her and walks a little ways away, tears streaming down her cheeks. She stood hugging herself as she cried and remembered how she had gotten to this point. Rachel got off the ground and approached the emotional dragoness. "What's wrong Sara?" she asked as she got closer. "Everything, everything's wrong, Rachel. Nothing has gone right since I accepted that dare. First I'm marked as unclean than raped and humiliated than left miles from home to fend for myself, me, barely old enough to hunt, let alone support myself. Why did this happen to me?" She shouted the last part to the sky and collapsed to her knees, crying uncontrollably.
Rachel walked over and knelt next to the distraught dragoness and wrapped her arm around her shoulders and rubbed Sara's back trying to sooth her as she had done all those years they had been friends. "Please don't leave me, I'm all alone in the world," Sara managed to choke out. "I'll never leave you. Remember our pact we made when we first met?" Rachel asked gently. "Yes, I remember," she said, nodding. "Then you know I can't leave you," she said, smiling down at Sara. She smiled back and rested her head on Rachel's shoulder, still crying, but softly now. "There there little one, it's alright, shush now I'm here," Rachel said soothingly. Sara's sobbing slowed then stopped as she slowly drifted off to sleep in the arms of her friend. "Good girl, now let's go start a new life somewhere else," Rachel whispered as she picked up the sleeping dragoness and headed out of the woods to their, hopefully, bright and happy future.
Ten years later....
Sara opened her eyes to stare at the wooden ceiling of her and Rachel's room. She rolled over to look at her friend's face as she continued to sleep. She grinned and lightly brushed a finger over Rachel's nostril. Rachel snorted and rubbed her nose but remained asleep, much to Sara's disappointment. She scowled and pokes Rachel's nose. The sleeping dragoness' eyes snapped open at the poke and glared at the mischievous dragoness. "You do that every morning little one," she grumbled and rolled over to get out of the bed. She shivers as her bare feet touch the cold wooden floor and got up to get dressed for her job at the tavern. Sara followed suit and dressed for her apprenticeship at the blacksmiths. "Gods I hate working at the tavern, but it pays the rent," Rachel said. "True," Sara replied. "How do I tell her how I feel or even find out if she feels the same for me," Sara thought to herself as she got dressed in a ratty green tunic, trousers, and over that a leather apron. Rachel's clothes were in better shape due to her occupation. She wore a tight fitting black top and a short skirt.
Sara turned around to look at Rachel as she got dressed, admiring her supple form and curves. She wished she had the courage to tell the other dragoness how she felt, desperate to know if she felt the same. "Rachel ... I ...." she began. "Hmm, what's that Sara?" Rachel asked over her shoulder. "I just wanted to say, have good day at work." She replied. "Awww , thank you. I hope you have fun learning your trade." Sara nodded and headed out the door to her apprenticeship at the blacksmiths, muttering to herself the whole way. "Why can't I tell her how I feel, why am I such a coward?" she mumbled. "Whatever, tonight I tell her how I feel. I'm gunna need to get her something nice to show her how much I care for her." She took a short cut through the market and found a jewelry stall. She looked at all the beautiful pieces of jewelry til she found a plain platinum necklace with a small emerald on it. "How much for that necklace?" she asked the stall owner. "Five gold pieces." He replied. She dug into her money pouch and pulled out all her money; four gold and seventy-seven silver. "This all I got sir," she said holding out the coins. He stared at the coins then at her and, seeing the desperation in her eyes, sighed saying, "Fine, take it." He took her coins and handed her the necklace. Her eyes widened in surprise at the kind offer and grinned hugely. "Thank you, sir, thank you." She bowed repeatedly as she backed away and dashed away, tucking the necklace into her money pouch as she did. She ran all the way to the blacksmith and through the door. "You're late Sara," the burly dragon blacksmith rumbled. "I know, I'm sorry, it won't happen again." She apologized as she pulled on her smithing gloves. "Don't let it happen again. Now today, we're going to learn how to make a breastplate." He said as he grabbed a large bar of metal and placed it into the forge as she went about her duties and thought of what was to come later tonight.
Later that night...
She walked through the door bone weary, but happy, she was going to finally tell Rachel how she felt. She looked around the small apartment and found that Rachel wasn't home yet, so she set about cleaning and getting everything ready. She dressed in her best clothes, a blue form fitting dress, and cooked as best as she could while she waited for Rachel to get home. She had just finished the stew when she heard the door open and close. She walked out to the entranceway to greet Rachel and smiled as she saw her rubbing her feet and cursing to herself. "Hey Rachel, rough day?" Sara asked. "The worst, first off some pig of a dragon decided to grab my ass and not give me a tip, Bruce threw him out and I got a decent tip. And then someone spilled a drink on me and ugh. I just need to sit down and relax." She said then sniffed the air. "You cooking?" Sara smiled, nodded and motioned for Rachel to follow her. She followed the younger dragoness into the kitchen where she found the table all set out for a quiet evening dinner. "You did all this?" she asked as she sat down and begin eating. "Yes, I wanted tonight to be special." Sara said as she sat down across from Rachel and began eating. They sat, eating, in silence for a while, the only sounds being heard was the occasional slurping of the stew and the crackle of the fire.
When they were done, Sara got up and cleared the table of their bowls and placed them in the wash bin, then picked up a small metal box and , holding it behind her back, walked up to Rachel. "Um, Rachel, I uh wanna say um .... here." She said as she handed Rachel the small box. "What is it?" Rachel asked. "It's a ... present." Sara replied as she blushed and looked down, her face turning an odd purple color. The older dragoness opened the box to find a plain platinum chain with a small emerald pendent on it. She gasped and held it up admiring it. "It's beautiful. How did you pay for it?" she asked still in shock at the beauty of the simple necklace. "I used my last month of money to pay for it because ... I .. I ... I love you Rachel." Her face turned a deeper shade of purple as she admitted how she felt to the dragon she loved. Rachel looked at the blushing dragoness and smiled. "I love you too, little one." Sara looked up and stared at Rachel before stepping forward and kissing Rachel on the lips. Rachel blinked and pulled back from the kiss. "Sara, what are you doing?" Sara looked up and looked Rachel with all her love. "I'm trying to show you how I feel but you don't seem to feel the same way towards me," she says lowering her head in shame and blushing deeply. "I'm sorry if I made you feel awkward Rachel." The older dragoness sat there for a few minutes trying to process what had just happened. "Why did you kiss me little one?" She asked. "Cause I love you, I always have." Sara replied blushing deeply. "But why, little one. We're both female, the others would look down at us a scoff." Sara looked at Rachel with a defiant look on her face and said, "I don't care what others will think, as long as I'm with you and love you." Sara looked at the ground, blushing. Rachel looked at Sara and realized that that awkward young dragoness she had found wandering in the woods had grown up into a beautiful, mature dragoness. She then sighed deeply and lifted Sara's chin til their face where level and whispered, "I love you too, Sara," before kissing the young dragon softly.
Sara meeped softly at the sudden kiss then relaxed and began kissing back. Rachel smiled and deepened the kiss as she slipped her tongue out of her maw and rubbed it against Sara's lips. Sara opened her own maw and ran her tongue against the other dragoness'. The older dragoness reached out and ran her hands along the younger's side causing her to murr in happiness. Sara in turn reached up to run her hands along Rachel's sides, eliciting the same response. The kissing continued until they had to both take a breath making them reluctantly pull apart and gasp for air. Both were blushing from a combination of excitement and arousal. "Shall we continue in the bedroom?" Rachel asked with a grin. "I think we shall," Sara responded and took Rachel's hand in her own and led her to their bedroom and resumed the passionate kiss.
The black dragoness pushed the smaller blue dragoness over and onto their bed to kiss more comfortably. As her hand roamed across Sara's side, they begin to drift higher until one brushed the side of Sara's breast, eliciting a small gasp from her. Rachel pulled back from the kiss and looked down at the blue dragoness with love as she asked, "Are you ready?" Sara nodded and smiled happily as Rachel began pulling of her shirt exposing her bare breasts to the cool air, causing her nipples to harden and her to moan softly. Rachel leaned down and cupped one breast then began to softly knead the small orb of flesh causing Sara to moan louder. Sara closed her eyes and smiled happily as she knew, finally, that she could share her love with the one person she wanted to share it with. Rachel lowered her head and began to softly lick across Sara's scaled belly, occasionally planting small, affectionate kisses as she moved higher until was kissing her other beast and licked softly across the nipple, eliciting a shiver and moan from Sara.
Sara was in heaven at the amount of love and pleasure she was feeling. Rachel seeing this licked across the nipple a few more times before sucking on it softly. Sara's eyes snapped open as she moaned loudly and arched her back at the sudden pleasure. The older dragoness lifted her head and kissed Sara softly. "I take it you liked that," she said after pulling away from the kiss and smiling down at Sara. The younger dragoness simple nodded her head and smiled. "Then you're gunna love this," She grinned as she undid Sara's pants and pulled them off before lowering her head down and nuzzling softly at the blue dragoness' panty covered crotch, causing her to moan softly in pleasure. Rachel continued nuzzling softly for a few seconds before licking softy across Sara's covered sex, eliciting a gasp of surprise and pleasure from the younger and less experienced dragoness. Rachel grinned and continued nuzzling and licking until the crotch of Sara's panties were soaked in a mixture of saliva and fem juices. Sara moaned and wiggled her hips in pleasure as she began feeling light-headed as her peak approached ever so slowly. Rachel, seeing Sara was ready for the next step, slowly slipped Sara's panties off and licked across her now exposed sex, making her moan louder and buck her hips at the sudden pleasure. Rachel murred softly at the flavor and scent assaulting her senses as she licked across the wet slit in front of her nose. She continued licking across Sara's sex several more times causing the younger dragoness' breaths to become shorter and more panted. She slowly slid her tongue into Sara's wet passage causing her to moan louder and buck her hips. Rachel grinned and began to wiggle her tongue around in Sara, tasting her juices and bumping her nose against Sara's clit eliciting another loud moan and buck of her hips. Seeing this, Rachel reached a hand up to pinch and tease her clit while her tongue wiggled around and tasted all she could reach. Sara's breathing increased from all the pleasure, quickly clouding her mind as her peak approached rapidly. Realizing how close Sara was, Rachel increased her tongue's wiggling and thrusting as well as pinching her clit harder. After a few more wiggles and pinches, Sara's body tensed up as her first orgasm rippled through her body and she clenched the sheets of the bed and screeched loudly while her sex gripped Rachel's tongue and coated her lover's face in her juices. Rachel smiled and waited for Sara's sex to release her tongue so she could lick her face clean. As Sara came down from her high and looked down at Rachel with a stupid smile, she muttered, "That was incredible." Rachel smiled as she pulled her tongue free and licked her face as she crawled on top of Sara and kisses her passionately. Pulling away she whispered to Sara, "Will you be my mate?" Sara smiled happily whispered back, "I would love to be your mate, Rachel." They kissed deeply and lay in each other's arms until they slipped off to sleep, both dreaming of their mate and the feeling of being loved.
Several weeks later.......
"Hey toots, how bout another round for me and my friends?" a fat red dragon called to the barmaid, Rachel. "Sure, in a sec," she replied as she carried her full tray over to a table with a family seated at it. As she served them their meals, she felt someone grab her rump, causing her to eep and spin around making her spill the family's drinks all over them and their food. "Oh, I'm so sorry, let me clean this up and get your meals again," she said as she began cleaning the mess up while someone laughed behind her. After she had cleaned up the mess and got her tray filled with the ruined meal, she carried it back into the cooking area the cooked looked up and asked what happened. She explained and the cook growled softly, "That damn Rignock, always groping the barmaids. I hope one day he gets what's coming to him some day." Rachel chuckled softly and shook her head. "I know it'll never be you Bruce, you're too much of a softy." He hung his head, smiling. "Yeah, I may look mean but I'm too much of a lover to do something about him." Rachel patted his back and kissed his cheek causing him to blush. "And that's why you have the best tavern in town." He looked up and grinned. "True. By the way, how's everything with you and Sara?" Rachel smiled happily. "Everything's goin great. We've never been happier." Bruce nodded. "Good, I wish you both the best of luck." Rachel smiled more. "Thanks, we'll need all the luck we can get. Now quit stalling and get that order done." She said in mock anger and bapped him in the back of the head softly then left the room to take more orders. As she passed, Ragnock reached out and groped her again. She whirled around and smacked him as hard as she could as she yelled, "Do it again and you're out of here." He took the slap and growled deeply, "Hit me again and you'll regret it." His hand strayed to the hilt of his sword. Before he could draw, the tavern door opened and in walked Sara who walked up to Rachel and hugged her tightly. "Ello, Rach." She says as she kisses her on the cheek. "How are you little one?" Rachel asked. "Pretty good. Glarpin let me off early so I decided to come to see you before heading home." She replied with a smile. "Good, I'll be home soon." Ragnock watched with increasing interest as a sick and twist smile crossed his snout. His eyes acquired an evil glint as his smile became more twisted and evil as dark thought crossed his mind. He thought to himself. "Ma'am?" he said aloud to Rachel causing her to turn to him. "Yes?" she asked. "I am truly sorry for any disturbance I caused." He said with a small bow of his head and fake smile. "Now, if I may take my leave, I will leave you now to clean up. Good day to you." He said as he got up and left the tavern. Rachel looked at his back as he left with a disbelieving look on her face then shrugged and returned to her work, not knowing what was in store for her later.
As Sara puttered around the house, cleaning what needed to be clean and general wasting time until Rachel got home so they could spend more time together. A soft knocking came from the front door. She made her to answer the door, opening it a crack and asking, "Ello?" The door exploded inward at the force of the kick to it, sending Sara flying backwards. "Honey, I'm home," Ragnock called out as he stepped across the threshold. The massive overweight red dragon stood grinning and staring down at the smaller blue dragoness. He wore a dirty, stained leather tunic with a pair of, if possible, even more dirty, stained trousers. On his belt was a knife sheath, the knife being held in his grubby right hand. "I've come to play, banished one," he said with a sneer. Sara screeched loudly as she scrambled backwards into the kitchen and under the table, trying to get away from him. He grabbed her tail and yanked her out from under the table then grabbed a wing and pulled her to him. He spun her around and punched her in the gut, doubling her over then grabbed a fistful of her hair and yanked her head back up, placing the knife against her throat and whispering in her ear, "We're gunna have some fun now, aren't we?" She shook her head slightly to which he pulled the knife away without harming her and smashed her snout into the table, bloodying her nose and knocking out a few teeth. He growl loudly as he yanked her back up to face him. She spat a large glob of blood and saliva into his face causing him to punch her in the gut again and dropping her to the floor as her released her hair. "Come on, get up. Get up 'little one.'" Kicking her hard in the ribs with every sentence, cracking a few and knocking the wind from her. He knelt beside her as she lay gasping for air and grabbed her by the hair then pulled her up to face him. "I'm gunna kill you, and leave you where that bitch Rachel will find you," he said with a sickening grin on his face as he traced the knife across her snout. He pulled her to her feet by her hair and seated her in a chair then tied her arms and legs to it as well as her tail. "But first, I'm gunna have some fun first," he said as he punched her in the face. "Oh, I'm gunna enjoy this."
Rachel hung up her apron on the peg in the back as her shift was over and it was time to go home, finally. As she walked out from the back Bruce stopped her. "Hey, Rachel, I got something I want you to give Sara," he said as he pulled a massive sheathed scimitar from under the bar. The sheath was eight feet long and a foot wide and covered in runes and deep scratches, a testament to years of conflict. The guard of the blade was made of shining platinum with a half hand guard and an emerald set in the middle. The handle was wrapped in grooved dark leather. The pommel was shaped like a feral dragon's claw and clutched a large emerald. "It's been in my family for generations and I have no need for it. I really think Sara will get more use out of it then me." Rachel stared at the weapon in amazement. "There's no way I can accept this," she said. "Just take it. It's only gathering dust and I really think she'll appreciate it. Consider it a late mateship present." He replied with a grin. "Oh thanks, I'm sure she'll love it." She picked up the massive blade, staggering slightly under the weight and headed for the back door and the way home. As she walked home lugging the heavy blade, she couldn't help but smile at the thought of being able to spend time with Sara. She reached their home and set the blade down so she could open the door, calling out as she entered, "Sara, I'm home." Hearing muffled thuds coming from the kitchen she picked the scimitar and walked down the hallway to the kitchen. "Hello?" she called.
Ragnock turned his head to the call and growled softly to himself and turned from the badly beaten dragoness. "Good, another I can play with." He said with a sneer. "N-no......d-don't....." Sara choked out. He slapped her hard, causing the chair to fall over with a loud crash. Rachel came around the corner and dropped the great scimitar to the ground at the sight before her. Ragnock launched himself across the room and slammed the hilt of his dagger into the side of Rachel's face, knocking her to the ground. "Stupid butain, mating another female over a male who could give you hatchlings," he spit out as he knelt beside her and dragging his knife along her chest, parting the fabric with ease. "I'll teach you not to pick a male for a mate." He growled as he set his dagger against Rachel's left wing joint and began sawing through the flesh and cartilage of the joint. Rachel screech in pain as she tried to crawl away but received another punch to the face, dazing her. He finished sawing of her wing and tossed it aside with a snarl. Growling loudly he began repeatedly punching Rachel in the face with the hilt of his dagger, until her was a mess of slashes and broken teeth. Rolling her onto her back he raised his knife high and stabbed Rachel in the gut and twisted the blade.
Sara, throughout the ordeal, struggled with her bonds as she watched on in horror. Finally working her tail free she flicked the tip causing twin bone blades to spring out with which she began sawing at the rope holding her to the chair. The last one parted just as the knife descended a third time. Roaring loudly she launches herself at the much larger dragon with a crazed look in her eye. Burying one of her tail blades deep into his shoulder causing him to spin around with a roar of pain. He stopped roaring when he saw the look in Sara's eyes, a look of anger, rage and most of all, no remorse. She grabbed his jaws and yanked them apart, snapping his lower jaw. He landed a punch to Sara's side causing her to wince but not relinquish her hold. Roaring loudly she grabbed his lower jaw with both hands and, after planting a foot on his chest, pulled with all her strength, ripping his jaw off with a sickening tearing sound. Grabbing the dagger he had left in Rachel, Sara yanked it free and buried it deep into Ragnock's chest as she darted her head forward and bit into his throat and began tearing it out. With a disbelieving look on what was left of his face, he watched as world grew darker Sara pull her head back, chewing on something he realized was his own throat. With a disgusting gurgle he fell backward and stared at the ceiling and his world went black, his last thought was, "I messed up."
After he fell over Sara swallowed the lump of flesh and crawled over where Rachel lay. Cradling her head in her lap, Sara looked down at the broken face of her mate. "Rachel, please say something," she whimpered softly as she stroked a few stray hairs out Rachel's face. "Sara?" Rachel asked she moved her head slightly and opened her eyes to look up at her love. "I'm here," Sara replied with tears in her eyes. Flopping her arm over to were the scimitar lay, Rachel's contorted into a passable smile." Bruce gave that to you. Use it to protect those weaker then you. Please Sara....." Sara nodded as the tears rolled down her cheeks and smiled. "I will Rach, I will. I love you, I always will." Rachel's eyes drifted close as she whispered softly, "I love you to little one, I love you.......too." With that Rachel's body went limp and Sara pulled Rachel up to rest her head on her chest while she rocked back and forth, crying and sobbing as she held onto the limp body of her mate. "I will always love you fy enaid ffrind.....always........"
