#2 of Fathers of Milk

Barley and Dioge were having a calm night guarding the entrance to the facility, until they heard the sound of a window shattering.

Life on Lacteon's farm was nice for every bovine involved. Being milked was one of the most pleasurable thing they could do, especially in the good company of each others.

But that was only one of the things they needed to do to keep the business going strong. And with a process as unusual to the common folk as milking a bunch of "males", security was a huge priority.

Not only did they have many security cameras in and outside the underground facility (some even on the trees of the orchard), but also some extra muscle, to intimidate any trespasser without the need for violence or brute force. And that was were bulls like Barley fit in on the herd.

The large golden bull with white snout and hair was almost the definition of strength, with muscles popping up even through his clothes, and a size to dwarf most other bulls not named Lacteon.

He also had a pair of fangs in his lower jaw, protruding from his lips to make him look even more intimidating. Like a monster from one of those old myths.

And that's why you would find him most nights guarding a pair of large metal doors at the base of the highlands, and near a somewhat calm country road. That's were the trucks would come in and then out, to share their products with the world.

And the best part? He never had to do all of that alone, because there was another bull almost as large as him always by his side.

His name was Dioge. A wine-red bull with light green hair that was a bit chubbier than him, but also had tons of muscle and fangs protruding from his mouth. Those were all key characteristics for the guard bulls of the herd.

But despite all of that, Barley was glad that the other bull almost always managed to keep a warm, genuine smile in his face. It helped make their jobs easier, and the time spent waiting for something to happen feel worthwhile, as they kept their eyes on the road ahead, despite vehicles very rarely showing up, specially as midnight approached.

Dioge: Nice night, isn't it?

Barley: Yeah... At least it's not raining like yesterday. Glad We're not stuck in the watchtower again.

Dioge: Heh. I'd rather be there, honestly. It's still pretty cold here.

Barley: Only because you're used to the tropical weather.

Dioge: Fair. And I'm not fluffy like you.

That made Barley blush a bit. It was a fact that his coat of fur was a bit more dense than Dioge's, but the way the wine-red bull said that surely caught him off guard.

Barley: Well... At least you're wearing a jacket.

Dioge: Heh. Silver linings. I thaught you well.

Barley: Sure thing, Mr. Brightside.

Dioge: Heh. That's a banger.

But it was at that moment that their sensitive ears caught the sound of glass shattering in the distance.

Barley: Did you hear that?

Dioge: Yeah. By the storerooms, right?

Barley: Yep. Let's go check it.

They then started running towards one of the sides of the facility, where the noise came from. The large metal doors from the gate wouldn't budge easily anyway.

And indeed, there was a window broken at the top of the wall, near some old crates that had been piled up there for a while. It was a hard climb, but not something impossible for someone small and nimble.

Dioge: Oh shit. Someone did break in.

Barley: Stay here to see if whoever is there comes out. I'm getting in.

Dioge: Okay. Just... Be careful.

Barley: I will.

With that, he walked to the backdoor of the storerooms, and used the universal key that every security bull had to get inside.

There was just a dozen or so different lamps in the ceiling of that large room, with shelves so tall that even someone like him would need a ladder to pick the stuff from the top ones.

But those were only empty containers, waiting to be filled. The real goods were in the cold rooms behind it all, were things like cheese, flavored milk and ice cream were waiting to be distributed.

But before Barley could even start the search, he heard some heavy yet calculated steps approaching, from behind one of the shelves, and soon he was face-to-face with the bull in charge of that place at the moment.

He was just a tad bit shorter than Barley himself, with some light orange fur and and an even lighter snout. He was also a bit on the older side, with a bald head covered by a captain's hat, and a white beard that used to be blonde. Fangs were also visible poking through his lower lip, and his left eye was a glass one, making him look like a grumpy retired pirate.

Barley: Oh, hey Rumble.

Rumble: Hello Barley. Thought You'd come over too.

Barley: Yeah... That noise was pretty jarring.

Rumble: Whoever is here is a pretty good climber. I can hear they walking through the top shelves, but it always seems to be a bit too far from where I am.

Just as he finished that sentence, they heard some rumbling in the nearby containers, as a nimble figure tried to make its way through them.

Barley: Wait! What are you doing?

In their hustle, they accidentally knocked over one of the containers, but Barley caught it like it was nothing.

Figure: S-sorry!

He talked in a soft, yet somewhat weak voice. He sounded a bit tired.

Rumble: Come down, kid. We won't hurt you.

Figure: Really?

Rumble: Of course not. That's not how we solve things around here.

Figure: Well... I've got nothing to lose anyway.

Barley pulled one of the ladders to where he was standing, and the figure did not hesitate as much as the bull was expecting to come down. With each step, his appearance became more clear in the faint light. A skinny light yellow goat with some old, worn down clothes and messy dark hair, with long horns and a relatively full beard as well.

Barley: Alright. What do you need?

Goat: I was just... Trying to get some food. I've been on the road for God knows how long, and I'm kind of starving right now.

Rumble: Then it's impressive how you can still climb all of this. But couldn't you just take some fruit from the orchard?

Barley: Actually... We harvested everything this afternoon.

Rumble: Oh, right.

Goat: Yeah... Not my smartest choice, but here I am now.

Barley: Things happen.

Goat: True. But if you guys don't mind, I'm leaving.

Rumble: Wait. Do you have somewhere to go?

Goat: Not really. Why?

Rumble: We've got a lot of room to spare, and more help is always welcome.

Barley: Yeah. Been a few months since someone joined the herd.

A gleam of hope appeared in the surprised face of the goat, as if he couldn't really believe that was happening. It only made Barley feel more sure about the decision.

Goat: Heh. Guess I'm down for some honest work.

Rumble: Great. Now let me show you our little secret.

Goat: Really? What?

He took off his shirt quite quickly for someone his age, revealing his nice, juicy chest and picked up a small thermos from one of the shelves nearby. Soon, he was squeezing one of his nipples, until a translucent orange-ish liquid started pouring into the thermos.

Rumble: This is how we make stuff around here.

Barley was expecting the goat to be put off at first, but he really just looked a bit more surprised than anything. Maybe even intrigued.

Goat: Oh... That's unusual.

Barley: Yeah. That's why we have such an emphasis on security. Most people are put off by this.

He said that as a bulge started growing under Rumble's pants, which luckily were made of a very soft and flexible material.

Goat: I'm not like most people... I think. Can I drink this?

He was now pointing to the now half-full thermos that Rumble was holding.

Rumble: Oh, sure. But I have to warn ya. It's a bit strong.

Goat: I'll be the judge of that.

He got the thermos, smelled its content for second, then he drank from it in large gulps. Clearly, he was very thirsty.

Rumble: So?

The goat finished everything with a loud slurp, then lowered the thermos with a bit of foam still on his muzzle. The dizzy look in his eyes made it clear that the drink had it's supposed effect.

Goat: Heh. This shit is good. Can I have more?

Rumble: Of course. Mind drinking straight from the tap?

Goat: Not at all.

Rumble: Then come here.

He opened his arms to embrace the new member of the herd, and gently put the caprine's face closer to his nipples, until he naturally started sucking.

Barley secretly wished to be in the goat's place, but Rumble just gave him a "what are you waiting for?" look, and he just had to knell down and start sucking on the old bovine's free nipple, without a care in the world and also gently stroking the growing udder-balls in Rumble's pants, until he decided they should come off too.

The golden bull saw the goat's eyes drift towards what was happening down bellow, probably thinking he was pretty far gone into the intoxication by now. But Barley was starting to feel its effects as well.

Security bulls were build to be strong, and that included their milks, wich all had the effects that adult beverages had on most. It wasn't intentional, but they at least had a larger tolerance for things like that. But the effects only grew stronger the older the bull became.

So it didn't take long at all for Rumble to gently pull them away from his nipples, as even Barley was starting to feel lightheaded.

Rumble: Alright lads. That's enough.

Goat: Heh. I guess so.

He was barely managing to stand up, which was pretty impressive for someone his size after drinking that much from Rumble's milk. But Barley still kept a hand on his shoulder, just in case he suddenly falls down.

Rumble: Thanks for the help. I didn't have time to be milked yet today.

Barley: Well... Consider this courtesy.

Rumble: I will. Take the boy to the village, and maybe rest a little too. I'll call Champ to fill in for you in the main entrance.

Barley: Okay. But what about that udder of yours?

Rumble: I'll have some fun milking it by myself, so don't worry. I'll save us some bottles for the weekend.

Barley: Heh. Alright.

So he said goodbye to the older bull, and guided the goat to the outside of the storerooms, with a dumb yet warm smile on his face.

And as expected, Dioge was still there waiting.

Dioge: Oh my... What happened in there?

Barley: Some hands-on explanation.

Dioge: I see. Next time just call me over.

Goat: Duuude. Your hair looks like grass. Neat.

Dioge: Heh, thanks. Is this the culprit for the broken window?

Barley: Yeah, yeah. But long story short, he wants to be part of the herd.

Dioge: Oh. Then welcome to the family. But what's your name, sweetie?

Goat: Jean... Just Jean.

Dioge: Very well. You can call me Dioge.

Jean: Nice.

Barley: I'll take him to the village now.

Dioge: I have a feeling that maybe I should go with you guys. Just in case you get lost like last time.

Barley: Fine...

Dioge: Just help me move those crates first, so nobody climbs to this window again.

And after this brief delay, they finally started their way to the secret village in the center of that huge orchard, and Barley couldn't wait to show it all to his new goat friend.
