Moonlit Mistakes
Seth is returning from a long trip when he decides to take a break from the trail. He ends up at Moonlit Tavern, despite the warnings. Will he end up learning a lesson about going wherever he pleases?
I tried my hand at doing some fantasy, so let me know if you'd like me to revisit this world, or go back to my more straight-forward smut fests.

Moonlit Mistakes
Seth grunted as he got off his horse. He stretched a bit, taking a quick glance around the stable he had just entered. Three weeks of straight through riding had stiffened his muscles. He could feel the strain in his lower back from being hunched over for so long.
"It's eight pence to keep yer horse here per night," a voice bellowed from another stall, "fourteen if ye wan' me to keep it fed as well."
Seth walked over to where he heard the voice originate from. It was a burly Dwarf, no more than four feet tall. His beard nearly as tall reaching the ground. He was carrying a large canvas bag of feed on his shoulder.
While Seth had seen numerous Dwarves over the span of his life, this Dwarf was undoubtedly the most stereotypical looking one he had seen.
"I can give ye a better rate if yer staying longer."
Seth reached down and grabbed his coin purse, "A single night is enough. And please do feed her. She's had a rough journey."
"Very well," the Dwarf responded, "Ye need anythin' else?"
"Which inn has the nicest ale around here?"
The Dwarf ran his free hand through his beard as he contemplated the question, "Well, the Creek Willow is the only inn we got," he said, "But they only serve piss water."
Seth sighed, it would figure that a town in the middle of nowhere would lack in basic comforts.
"There's a tavern further along the north road, Moonlit it's called, and they serve some quality booze. It would be a bad idea for ye to go there now I thinks. Lotsa unsavory types at night."
"Trust me Dwarf," Seth laughed, "I can handle myself around some unsavory types."
The Dwarf flashed a quizzical look at the man standing before him, "Don' say ye weren't warned."
* * *
The Dwarf had failed to mention just how much further up that road the tavern was. The sun had just passed its peak when Seth had first started his walk. Now it was just barely peaking past the tree line. But, just as the Dwarf had said it would, there stood a moderately sized tavern.
He knew it was the place thanks to the small wooden sign in the shape of a crescent moon, the word Moonlit in faded white paint, hanging on a pole a few paces in front of it. Judging based on the weathered oak logs that made up its exterior, it was not a new addition to the town.
The door, despite its appearance, opened without any hesitation. Inside was a dimly lit main room. It was far from the dingiest place he had holed up in, but its first impression left much to be desired. A mixture of old spirits, sweat, and what smelled like wet dog, assaulted his nose.
There was a fairly young woman pouring a series of drinks for the only other current patrons that were there at the moment. It was a group of four men sitting at a corner table. The sound of the door closing had caused them away from the cards they were playing.
Seth gave a short nod to the table before walking to the bar. He placed his elbows onto the top of it, ignoring the chair that sat next to him.
Even after the short hike he had just taken to get here, his legs were not yet ready for a rest.
Now that Seth was closer, he could see the woman had a scar that stretched from her chin down to her neck. Before he could say a word the barkeep, she picked up the four full tankards and brought them over to the corner table. He watched her as she set them down, responding to something that one of them had said to her. Their voices too hushed for him to hear.
A moment later and she was back behind the bar, four old tankards from the table in her hands. He could hear the corner table resume their game.
"What can I get you," she asked.
"Just a drink for right now," Seth said, scratching his beard, "How good's the food here?"
The woman nodded, turning around to the barrel behind her, "We're at least a week's journey from the nearest farm, so everything we have is salted or jarred."
She turned back around and dropped a filled tankard onto the bar in front of him.
Seth shrugged before taking a sip, "Don't know why that'd be a problem."
The woman stared at him for a moment, "You're not exactly from here, and the fact that you're in this tavern makes me believe you either don't know where you are. You kinda look like the type that would complain about anything that's not freshly prepared just for you."
"Ma'am-"
"It's Kiera lad. Don't give me any of that Ma'am shit."
"Just like I don't know this town," Seth took a deeper swig of his drink, "You don't really know too much about me either."
"Lad-"
"It's Seth," he cut her off, "Don't need any of that lad shit."
Kiera chuckled, "I like you, so I'll give you a quick lesson about this town," She gestured towards the table in the corner, "The boys here work long days and aren't exactly cool headed. I serve them their drinks and in return, they give me their coin. They respect me and I respect them."
She slammed a knife into the wooden counter. Its tip deep in the wood.
"If I were to slice your neck they would ask me how they could help to clean up the mess. Alternatively, I could tell them you're irritating me, and they would escort you into the ditch just behind this place."
In a single smooth motion she pulled the blade out of the counter and pointed it at Seth.
"You understand what I'm saying?"
Seth raised his hands in a defusing manner.
"I never meant any disrespect."
"Good. Now, you want any food or just another drink."

As the sun set, the tavern quickly filled with patrons. It took no time for the once quiet establishment to become a wild chorus of voices all vying to be heard.
Seth stayed at his little stool, only speaking to Kiera when he needed his tankard refilled. The crowd that had come in was way too energetic for his liking. Making things worse, he had opted to fill up with ale instead of a more balanced meal. A decision he was coming to regret.
Just as he was preparing to head up to his room for the night a sudden spike in the amount of cheering captured his attention.
In the center of a large group was a giant of a man throwing punches at a woman nearly half his size. Each lunge eliciting a holler from the crowd after being dodged by the woman.
Seth continued to watch the spectacle from his little stool. He felt his head buzzing from the booze.
The circle of onlookers spread out and contracted as the two's fight went on. The man punching with enough force to take someone's head off, the woman cleaning evading each attack.
In a single second the fight came to an end. One poorly placed punch left enough clearance for the woman to throw her own punch. With a single well placed hit, the man's head flung to the side, his body following.
The thump of the man's body on the ground signaled for the crowd to cheer even louder.
Seth spun himself back around to the bar. He grabbed his drink and brought it up to his lips. The smell of the alcohol was giving him second thoughts, but he pushed them to the side and downed the last bit.
As he put his cup down he heard the stool beside him creak under the weight of the woman that had just won the fight.
The woman, much like Kiera, was also quite scarred in the face. Unlike Kierra, though, or any other woman he had seen if he was honest, her stature was impressively muscular.
"Put my drinks on Bruno's tab," she told Kiera.
Seth glanced back to the center of the room. Two men were helping who he assumed was Bruno to his feet.
"That a friendly brawl or did he do something foolish," Seth asked, his intoxicated mind acting on its own.
The woman eyed Seth up before responding, "The dumbass called me a bitch. I put him back into his place."
"I guess you showed him who the real bitch was," Seth could hear himself slurring the words. He really should have eaten.
"You have no idea where you are do you?"
"Why do you ask?"
"Because you have no idea how funny what you just said was."
Seth's brow furled, "How so?"
The woman laughed, "Just don't let Bruno hear you say that or you'll end up in a worse state than he is."
"I doubt he'd be able to do anything to me," Seth responded, the words coming out without any form of filter, "His stance and technique was so bad I'm surprised you didn't knock take him out quicker."
The woman's head cocked to the side, "You want to get knocked on your ass as well?"
"I don't fight women," Seth said bluntly.
"Kiera," the woman called, "Did you have a talk with this bastard yet?"
Kiera walked over, "I told him not to disrespect the tavern. If you feel like he is then take it outside. I don't need any more fights in here."
"Alright then," the woman said standing up, "On your feet stranger. Let's see if you got any bite to backup your bark."
Seth shook his head, "I already said I don't fight women."
"Sounds like you're even more of a bitch than Bruno is."
Seth was pretty sure he was acting purely on the alcohol in his system. He stood up from his chair. The wooziness in his legs telling him how bad of an idea this was.
"I guess I'll make an exception this time."

The woman led Seth to a dirt circle right behind the tavern. The trees were far enough away that the moonlight lit the dirt patch clearly. It had obviously been kept clean by someone, because there were no branches, rocks, or other obtrusions of any kind.
If he had seen it during the day, Seth might have thought that it looked similar to the sparring circles his one trained on.
"Whenever you're ready stranger," the woman said, standing at one side of the circle, "Your ass is going to be sore in the morning."
She had taken her top off, leaving only her beat up leather pants and a thin layer of cloth over her chest. Seth was surprised by the toned muscles that had hid beneath her other clothes. Scars covered much of her exposed body. What looked like claw and teeth marks peppered across her arms and abdomen.
Seth undid his own shirt before throwing it off to the side. His own toned body lit in the moonlight. He had fought many times in the past, many of which were unarmed, and even more were life and death. Between his past experience and the alcohol coursing through his system, he felt confident that this would be a quick fight.
Seth brought his fists up in a defensive stance, "Whenever you're ready."
There was an instant, where the woman's eyes lit up. Seth could not tell if it was a trick of the moonlight or if it was because of the number of drinks he had just consumed, but he could have sworn that for all of a moment the woman's eyes flashed yellow.
Before he could contemplate what he saw, the woman closed the distance between their starting positions. He remembered how she had been on the defensive for a majority of her previous fight. Dodging and ducking the attacks made against her.
Now, she was on the one being aggressive.
Seth dodged a punch from the woman, just barely in time. He felt the air from the throw against his face as he leapt out of the way.
Before he could find solid footing, the woman continued her attack. Jab, jab, kick. He could only move so much before he had to resort to blocking the blows.
The woman's speed, and his own sluggish mind, were making it tough to stay on his feet. Each of her attacks that landed caused Seth to stumble as he tried to maintain his balance.
Was it possible that she had been playing with the man from the previous fight? Dodging and staying out of the way because she knew he could not win?
He tried to follow the movements of his opponent, but only saw the blur as the attacks rained down. He was knocked to his knee as each hit forced him down more.
Whether it was a trick of the light or his own intoxication, he could have sworn the woman's eyes were glowing again. Her mouth was twisted into a wolfish smile as he yellow eyes stayed honed in on her target.
As the woman pulled her arm back for another attack, Seth took the opportunity to jump to the side. He slid across the dirt ground and twisted himself back around, getting to his feet before she could lunge at him again.
As she lunged to get in another set of attacks, Seth attempted to jump once again to her side. This time, he was not fast enough.
His breath was knocked out of him as a jab hit him in his gut. He tried to bring his hands back up, but the woman continued the barrage of attacks even quicker.
He was knocked backwards onto his back by the blows.
Seth coughed and spun over onto his stomach. His attempts to crawl away were in vain as he felt a boot press against his back.
"Not so fast," the woman said leaning down, "Tell me you lost."
Seth coughed again as the boot shoved him harder into the ground. He mumbled something as he let his face lay in the dirt.
The woman leaned further down, "What was that, I can't hear you."
Seth kicked his leg out, hitting the woman's rear foot and knocking her to the ground.
He sprung up onto his feet, bringing his fists back into their original position. He ignored the pain in his arms and chest. The alcohol was at least dulling the soreness he would have been feeling otherwise.
"You're stance is as bad as Bruno's," he said, wiping some of the dirt off of his face.
The woman got on to her hands and knees, her body suddenly convulsing. Seth saw her body trembling as her head lowered. He heard her groaning as the convulsions continued.
Seth stepped back as he heard a low growl.
Everything connected in his alcohol muddled mind. The scars, the glowing eyes, the warnings of coming to this bar. Hell, the name of the bar should have tipped him off. He was at a gathering of werewolves.
He reached down to grab his dagger when he realized his mistake. He had forgotten to take any of his stuff off of his horse. He was weaponless.
Seth stared at the woman as snow white fur began sprouting along her back.
He looked up towards the tavern. Entering there would be a death trap. He turned around and looked at the tree line. Maybe he could lose it in the woods and make it safely back to his horse.
The alcohol in his system had him running before he could analyze the choice he was making.
It was a multi-mile hike along the road. In the woods who knew how long it would take.
As fast as his feet would carry him, he ran. He never looked back, even as he heard the wolf behind him howl. Seth did not know how long he had until the she-wolf would be ready to chase him, all he knew was that he had to continue moving.
Once he entered the denser portion of the woods, his speed dropped. The moonlight that had helped guide him was gone, and the amount of obstacles he had to dodge had increased tenfold.
It had been only a few minutes before he heard another howl coming from behind. In his panicked state, he failed to see the limb that smacked him right in the face.
He slowly opened his eyes, pain searing along his head.
He was on his back, and he could hear something rushing its way towards him.
Seth got back up, and hid behind a tree.
If he was lucky, the wolf would run past him, giving him a bit of time to run in another direction.
It turned out, he was not a lucky man.
Seth could hear the werewolf stop right next to the tree he was hiding behind. The sound of the wolf's sniffing the only other thing he could hear.
He felt his heart trying to beat its way out of his chest.
Religion was not something Seth considered, but he was praying to all of the divines at this moment. Asking for forgiveness for all of the sins he had committed over the course of his life.
He stayed perfectly still as a clawed paw gripped the tree just above his head.
The werewolf's head slowly moved into view. Its nose continuing to sniff the air around him as the rest continued to come out from behind the tree.
When its eyes came into view, Seth knew he was doomed. Its pupils, surrounded by a glowing yellow, were staring directly at him.
He attempted to run once again, but this time he was forced to the ground instantly. The weight of the wolf pinning him.
He felt the nose of the werewolf come up to his ear. The warm air blowing into it with each breath.
"You want to know why Bruno was so mad at me," the deep voice growled into his ear, "I think I'll show you."
Burning pain ran through Seth's body as the wolf's fangs clamped onto his shoulder. It worsened as he felt the weight of his whole body get lifted up by it.
He yelled in pain as he was thrown into the tree. He attempted to push himself off of it with his unhurt arm, but was thwarted by the wolf shoving him onto his back.
It was only now that he got a full glimpse of the monster in front of him.
The wolf was massive. Easily seven or eight feet tall. Its white fur covered its entire body. The beast's legs bent in a primal fashion.
What worried Seth the most about the wolf standing before him was not the several inch long claws, or the now bloody fangs. No. It was the massive canine cock and balls that were hanging between its legs. The wolf's red rocket would have put even the most endowed men to shame.
"I thought," Seth said, trying to ignore the pain in his shoulder, "You were a woman."
The werewolf laughed, taking a step forward and putting a hand on the tree that Seth was leaning against. The canine cock now dangling in front of his face.
"I am a woman," the beast said, "But our wolf forms don't conform to the same rules."
There was a warmth that was beginning to form in Seth's shoulder where the wolf had bit him. And to his dismay, it seemed like it was beginning to spread.
"You become the opposite sex of whatever infects you," the wolf continued, "I learned that when a female werewolf bit me. Bruno learned it after I infected him. And, now, you're about to experience it first hand."
The wolf leaned its head down, taking a deep sniff of its prey.
"To be fair, he was the one that asked me to infect him. He just didn't know the rules."
Seth could not bear the feeling that was now coursing through his whole body. He looked at his shoulder, worried that it would reveal some horrifying amount of gore. Instead, he saw fur.
White fur, the same exact color as the werewolf that had him trapped, was beginning to spread along his shoulder.
Seth yelled in pain as he felt his legs shifting. The bones cracked and popped as he felt them change into the shape more similar to the wolf's than his own. The legs spasmed as the changes continued into his feet.
"Let's get these off you," the wolf said, gently sliding a single claw against his pants.
Without any fight the leather was cut by the wolf's claw. Revealing Seth's now digitigrade legs.
His toe nails began growing and changing shape as the bones in his feet cracked and shifted just as his legs did. His legs twitched as muscle began building up on his limbs. The once human legs and feet now looked exactly like the werewolf's own, minus the fur. But, that too began changing rapidly. More tufts of white fur sprang up over his body. His skin burned and itched. The clumps of hair was not just covering his new canine legs, it was now spreading over his chest like wildfire.
Seth's head suddenly felt like it would split in two. His skull breaking and reforming. He felt his mouth shifting forward, his nose crunching inward as a new muzzle formed. A thin layer of fur sprouting just like the rest of his body.
His hands painfully cramped as they too began their metamorphosis. The bones in his fingers elongated as black claws grew to adorn them. Muscles in his arms formed as they too were covered in a healthy amount of white fur.
The werewolf standing over him gave a short growl, then lowered itself onto its haunches. Its eyes were focused on Seth's crotch.
He had been too distracted by the pain in his limbs to notice what was going on down there.
Before Seth's eyes, his cock withered. What could once be considered a length to be proud of was reduced to nothing as it retracted into his flesh. His balls followed suit, quickly retracting into his skin. He could feel his organs move and shift. Something new forming to take the place of his manhood.
Seth whimpered, his vocal chords having shifted into sounding more feminine.
An opening formed below where his old manly bits once sat. A canine looking slit that grew deeper within him. A warmth, the feeling of need, followed soon after. Deep within his nethers he felt the feral urge to be filled rise up and spread throughout his body. The insatiable need to be bred more overwhelming to him than any of the other changes his body had gone through.
The heat was too intense for Seth. He was panting at the idea of the werewolf standing over him claiming him like the beast it was.
Pain in his spine caused Seth to groan and roll to his side. It felt like the bones were stretching themselves straight out of his body. He looked behind himself to find a long, and particularly fluffy, tail growing above his asshole.
The wolf that had been intently watching Seth's changes figured that it had waited long enough. It picked the newly made werewolf up and forcibly threw him onto a fallen log, ass straight up in the air.
Seth's protests were made without any energy. His body was still twitching and occasionally spasming, his changes coming to an end. His mind was stuck in the cloud of hormones and explicit thoughts that seemed to only strengthen as the other werewolf positioned itself over him.
The werewolf stood over Seth, taking in a deep breath. In its mind, all it could smell was the flavorful musk of a bitch deep in heat, and much like Seth, primal urges overpowered any other thoughts that it may have had. It grinned knowing what it was about to do.
Seth yelped. His new slit being claimed mere minutes after he first received it. His claws dug into the rotting wood of the tree beneath him as the wolf lowered its much larger weight onto his back.
His opening stretched around the male beast's member. He a mixture of pain and pleasure as each inch entered him. The tapered canine tip quickly expanding to its full thickness.
Seth whined once more, attempting feebly to get out from underneath the monster on him. His endeavors were met with a painful bite from the wolf. His fangs dug deep into Seth's shoulder. They stayed like that as the beast continued to insert more and more of his cock into Seth's entrance.
His new canine opening pulsated and gripped the intrusion with a mind of its own. He could feel every little detail of the canine prick being shoved ever deeper, eventually coming to its hilt. Seth felt the massive balls of the werewolf on him as its dick bottomed out within him. The fog in his mind only became harder to navigate once the wolf began its thrusting.
Each thrust sent sensations that quickly went from painful, to pleasurable, to absolute delight and fulfillment.
The beast was not gentle, each thrust shoved Seth's entire body hard into the crumbling bark of the tree. But, without a single thought, Seth pressed his rear into the wolf's hips with each forceful movement.
The two wolves continued to their rutting under the light of the moon. The tree they were mating on had opened up a clear sight of the night sky once it fell, however many seasons prior.
The werewolf arched its back, each of its thrusts left more of its length within its newfound bitch than before, while their speed increased with each one. It growled as it felt its knot begin to form. The bulge of flesh stretching out Seth's entrance. Seth groaned, letting his long tongue roll out of his mouth, as he felt the wolf's member lock itself in him. His rational thought was now long gone. He panted, all he wanted was the satisfaction of his heat being quenched.
The werewolf let go of Seth's neck. Now, it too was panting as they approached their climaxes.
The woods were filled with the sounds of excited panting and the slapping of flesh together. The smell of sweat and musk filling the air was overpowering.
The werewolf took in a deep breath of air, before letting off a powerful howl as his member exploded within his bitch. Waves of spunk shot deep into Seth. He too moaned as his own climax came on. His insides clenched and vibrated around the gushing length within him. The heat of his new womb seemingly doused by the flood of cum. The wolf's knot acting as a dam, keeping the entirety of its load locked within.
They panted for a while, both feeling completely spent.
"I need to apologize," the wolf eventually said between deep breaths, "Even Bruno got better treatment than what you're about to get."
Seth, raised his head, his ears instinctually turning towards sounds of something, no multiple something rushing towards them. The sounds seemed to be coming from where he had originally run from. Towards the tavern.
The fog that had clouded his mind was clearing up now. He could once again think straight.
Seth yelped in pain as the werewolf stood up. His own ass now feet up in the air as his slit stayed firmly stuck on the wolf's knot.
"The rest of my brothers aren't going to let you leave until you're fat with one of our litters."
Seth could hear the sounds of howling coming closer. His mind now fully aware of what he was happening
"Oh, and uh," the werewolf continued, scratching its ear, "Werewolves can't exactly change back if they're heavy with pups," He lowered one hand onto Seth's back, rubbing it, "So it'll probably be best if you started staying with the other brood mothers. Don't wan't you alerting the local militia or anything of our family here."
