As I crawled out of my bed I looked at my alarm clock. It had read 7:30 AM.

My tail curled up and my ears flattened against my head.

"shit..." I muttered under my breath,"I'm gonna be late for school!"

"Trenton!" I heard my mother call out, "Get your white furry butt down here now before your late!" she joked.

I found a pair or jeans and a green t-shirt and threw them on. As I combed my fur I took notice of my boyish features. I white fur all over my body except for my ears which were black. My eyes ember red, as if they were mimicking flames themselves.

"Ready mom!" I called down to her.

When I got to school I looked for my best friend Alex. He didnt know my secret but then again nobody did. I felt someone poke me in the back and as I turned around my tail curled up and wagged as a red fox with baby blue eyes came into view.

"Hey Alex!" my voice squeaked and I blushed underneath my fur, to be honest I am in love with him. But I don't want people to find out or might get Beat up, "what's Up?"

"nothin much." He laughed ,"What about you?" he asked me.

"Pretty much same."I huffed and and looked down,"Wanna come over after school today?" I asked him blushing a little once again.

"sure,"he smiled that beautiful smile of his. "I'll meet you here after school so we can walk to your place ."

"sounds good to me." i smiled back at him. It was better then good. I was practically doing back flips inside and I was loving every minute of it. The bell cut my happiness short though forcing me to leave my best friend an head to home room.

Chapter Two : gym sucks... That Is all.

Leave it to shitty school systems to make you take a shower after gym. I don't even sweat that much. Not that I mind seeing other guys you-know-what's. I'm just not fine with them seeing my junk...so when every one else is taking their shower I just sit on the bench with a towel wrapped around my waist waitinffor every one else to leave. But the only benefit is that Alex was

in my gym class. His perfect body, his snow white stommach fur which ended right between his thighs. The way the water glistened off his reddish brown fur, he turned Around And said some thing but I wasnt paying to much attention to sound At that moment.

Thats when I was shoved off the bench a my towel was yanked from my waist. I felt a kick to my ribs and then I looked up to Alex praying he would do something to help me. He got the message and ran out of the shower room. I felt a kick to the head and everything went dark.

Chapter three: Cubs honor

When I awoke, I was in the nurses office alone. "Fuck..." I groaned as I raised my right paw to touch my head. My eyes shifted over to the door as it Opened up and a brown squirrel walked in.

"Ohh your awake!"she said smiling and she walked right back out the door. At first I was puzzled at her reaction but then she came back with my mom and Alex behind her. "Do you know where your at Trenton?" The nurse asked me softly.

"School??" I answer while shrugging my shoulders.

"He is fine." the nurse laughed." Just a little banged up from his fall."

I looked at Alex in confusion. My eyes saying "Fall? What fall?"

He just looked back as if to say "Please don't say any thing!"

I lean forward and hopped off the table. "I'm fine see." I stand up not remembering that I was naked.

Alex laughed his ass off and I blushed through my fur. I covered my junk with both my hands and told him and my mom to get out for a second while I talked to the nurse.

When I was fully clothed and we were alone I sat back on the table." I have to tell you what really happened...." I sighed and looked her in the eye. " Two guys came up behind me in the shower room and pushed me off the bench i was sitting on," I looked at my feet then back up to her. "I was then kicked in the ribs by one of them and in the head by the other...I dont remember what happened after that.."

"I see..." she sighed,"Do you know why?" she asked worriedly.

My tail immediately went between my legs. Should I tell her ? I thought to myself. Yes I should tell her because I have to tell some one or I'm Gonna pop!

"I think it was because I'm gay..." I looked down at my feet cause tears were starting to well up in my eyes,"I don't want any one to know that I am gay or the fact that I don't feel attracted to girls at all..."

"hey..." she put her hand on my chin and raised my head up to see her eyes," You were born that way, and if other people can't accept you for who you are, then they are assholes." she took her paw and wiped away my tears," Want to know a secret of mine?"she smiled sweetly ,"I know how you feel because I am attracted to woman and when I was your age no one knew...I never even told my older brother who I told every thing." she laughed..." at least you had the guts to come out to some one you don't even know... I wish I had the strength you have..."

I seen the look of pain in her eyes as she said those words and I hugged her. I felt like a big weight was lifted off my shoulders and put out into the world . " Thank you." I sniffed and curled my tail."Promise me you won't say any thing to any one about me being beaten up?"

She smiled and raised her right hand and said "cubs honor."

Chapter four: heartbroken

I sat in the back seat with Alex as my mom drove him home.

"Hey do you want to come over to my place for a bit?" He whispered into my left ear.

"Sure!" I smiled and whispered back, "But you have to ask my mom." once again I was doing back flips inside.

"Ms.Power?" he said smiling really wide into the rear view mirror, "Do you think Trent could come over for a little bit?"

She looked into the rear veiw Mirror and chuckled a little, "If it's okay with your mother it's okay with me." she answerd and I looked at Alex and he smiled that beautiful smile of his and my heart skipped a beat.

Once we got to his place we bolted up to his room. It was the safest place in the house thanks to the fact that it was virtually sound proof.

"What happened Alex..." I went and sat Down on his bed as he closed the door and I seen his ears flattens against his head."why did you lie to the nurse?"

He didnt say a word to me and I knew something was wrong.

"did they threaten you?" I looked at him worried he was going to get himself hurt. Still he said nothing and it was beginning to make me a little angry. "Alex!" I yelled at him and his head snapped up and I could see he was pissed.

"I don't want to hang out with you any more because I don't want to be seen with a loser!" he barked and I felt like I was kicked in the ribs again... No worse... It felt as if some one had ripped My heart out of my chest and it was still beating.

"I-Is that what you think of me?" my voice cracked and I stood off his bed and looked directly into his eyes. "I guess this loser isn't welcome here is he..." I managed to choke out before opening his bedroom door and slamming it back shut. I left the house and headed straight back to school.

Once I got there I sat against the door to the main office a broke down crying. "Why would he say such hurtful things to me. He wasnt acting like the Alex I know and love!" I though to myself . that's when the door I was sitting against opened up and I fell backwards. my ears flattened against my head as I landed on a pair of shoes. I looked up and I seen two emerald green eyes belonging to a seventeen year old male wolf starring at me. " Are you okay?"

Chapter Five: An odd Meeting...

"Huh?" I blinked the tears out of my eyes.

"Are you okay?" the wolf repeated and he extended his paw to help me get up.

His fur was gray with streaks of jet black running through his fur. I took his paw And he lifted me up carefully to me feet.

"I'm fine." I sniffled and wiped away my remaining tears. " what are you doing in school so late?" I asked him curiously.

"Guidance councilor..." he huffed. " the guidance councilor told me to tell some one and maybe they will understand. I'm gay..." his head fell and his eyes clenched shut as if he was waiting to be punched.

"Me to..." I choked out." do you want to hang out for a little bit?...I could use a friend right now..." a tear ran across my cheek as I remembered what Alex had said to me.

"Whats you name?" he looked up and smiled a sweet smile.

"Trenton, yours?" I laughed and looked up into his emerald eyes.

"Matt." he replied sweetly. I took hold of his paw and folded my fingers in between his. I felt his paw wipe away my tears ever so gently and I forgot all about Alex for the first time in over four years...

"Want to tell me whats wrong?" he asked me softly

"Where do I begin..." i sighed and shook my head as we walked towards my house, hand in hand.

Chapter Six : Best day of my life.

As we were walking I got to asking questions...

"How long have you known?" I asked him blushing a little.

"That I was gay?" he paused for a second, " A little over a year now. What about you?" he asked curiously.

"Since I was about ten." I looked at him sticking my toung out playfully.

"Whats your out take on nature?" he laughed.

"I love all kinds of quadropeds and birds." I giggled, "What about you?" I asked him back hoping for an honest answer.

" Ohh I'm a nature nut." he said making a screwed up face which ended up with both of us laughing our asses off.

"Seriously though I love nature as much as I love seagulls." he said still giggling from that last out Burst," They are my favorite bird and will all ways be my favorite bird."

"Cool" I smiled and thought (maybe this is a sign that I'm not supposed to be with Alex but I'm supposed to be with Matt...) I looked at him and realized we were in front of my house. "well here we are..."I sighed and looked at my shoes. I felt his muzzle against my cheek and I turned my head so our lips were touching.

I pulled back after about five seconds and realized my tail was flailing around wildly.

"so," i paused to clear my throat," I'll see you at school on Monday?" I asked him while biting my lower lip.

He took out a piece of paper and a pencil as scribbled a phone number onto it.

"I'd like to see you before school starts." he winked and turned around to leave. I could see his tail curling up in anticipation above his butt.

I just stood there for about ten minutes after he was gone still stunned that I got a kiss and a phone number from a guy I just met Less then three hours ago.

I walked into the house and seen my mom sitting at the kitchen table.

"Trenton we need to talk..." she said sternly and I just gulped.

Chapter Seven: The Truth Comes Out...

My tail went between my legs and I didnt dare to move.

" mom I-" I started to speak but she cut me off.

"Why didnt you tell me you were gay..." she said nervously," I mean I would have under stood Trent." she looked at me with a puzzled look in her eyes and I couldnt delay it any further.

"because I thought you wouldnt understand... I thought you would hate me." for the third Time today I felt the tears welling up in my eyes.

" Trent I accept you for who you are and not what sex you decide to date." she said as she got up and put her arms around me.

"I will always stand by you one hundred percent of the time for any reason, no exceptions." she placed her muzzle on top of my head and gave it a quick kiss. " so what's his name?" she asked me with a big grin on her face.

"moo-om" I laughed. " his name is Matt and he is really sweet and nice and from what I'm guessing you saw he's a really good kisser!" I giggled

"Ohhh." she smiled and made a scrunched up face." what about Alex ?His mom called me saying that you left crying your eyes out."

My face Immediately went from happy to sad in a matter of microseconds when she said his name. "he said that he doesn't want to be seen hanging out with a loser like me... I loved him and he ripped my heart right out of my chest..." a single tear ran down my furry cheek.

"I see..." she sighed and patted me on the head..." want some ice cream? It's the best cure for a broken heart." she joked .

I smiled weakly and nodded my head." I'm gonna go call Matt and see if he wants to come over tomorrow if that's okay?"

"Yeah I want to meet the boy my son is dating..." she shook her head in disbelief, "I honestly never thought I would say those words." she laughed and padded off to the living room to watch TV.

I ran up to my room and grabbed the phone and dialed the number Matt wrote down for me, sat down on my bed and I hit send. The phone rang three time before he picked up. "hi Matt?" I said nervously, "do you want to come over tomorrow for a little while?"

"Sure Trent" his voice sounded so sweet, "Is around eleven okay?"

"Perfect!" I squeaked and I heard him laugh on the other end.

"See you then" he said sweetly, "Sweet dreams."

"you too." I added before I said good bye and hung up.

I sprawled out I'm to my bed smiling I laid there still thinking about that kiss. Slowly I curled up with my tail and drifted off to sleep...

Chapter Eight: The Damage is done

I sat at home waiting for Matt to arrive and meet my mom. the door bell rang and I flew to the door to open it. Standing there was my wolf. He was wearing a black t-shirt along with blue jeans. He stepped inside and looked around. "Nice place." he laughed as he focused his attention on me. "even nicer owner" he stuck his toung out and I growled playfully.

"Is he here yet Trenton?" my mom called out and matts ears went Flatt." dude your moms home?!?" he panicked and I laughed.

"Don't worry she found out yesterday about me... Well during the kiss..." his ears perked up and I licked his muzzle, " she wanted to meet you and I think now is the best time for that." I smiled and patted him on the butt just as my mom came onto view.. " oh you must be Matt!" my mom squealed and I blushed through my white fur "I'm Liz, Trents mom." I looked at Matt and even though his fur hid it. I knew he was blushing too... After my mom finished her meet and greet session she went into extremely question overdrive. "what are your..."she paused for a second ," Intentions...towards my son..." she was trying so hard not to smile but I new any minute she was going to burst.

" well I intend to ravishing him with love and possibly ...other things " he smiled lustfully towards me and I couldnt help but returning it.

" oh god," my mom put her head In Her hands, " I'm going to go bankrupt from buying condoms every other day arnt I..." she laughed and I looked at Matt and he nodded. "probably!" we both said in unison.

She just shook her head and me and Matt just giggled "I'm gonna go out for a bit." she sighed and grabbed her purse," There are condoms in my dresser if you..." she stopped and shook her head, " you know what I mean!" she laughed. And we looked at each other waiting to hear the front door open and close again. We ran to ran to my room knowing she was gone and all that could happen was the inevitable. I opened my dresser since I had my own condoms and i looked at Matt hungrily He complied by taking Off his shirt revealing his white furry stommach. I remembered Alex... His own stommach fur was white as well.. a tear streamed down my face as I remembered his and his face, his every thing.

"Are you okay Trent?" Matt asked me with a worried look on his face.

"Just hold me in your arms Matt. please... That's all I need right now. " shuddered and more tears fell. "okay... What ever you want

or need I'll do it to see you happy." he wispered as he wrapped his big arms around me and I buried my face in his chest fur He laid back and kissed the top of my head. We fell asleep like that. Knowing I was was safe in his arms. Knowing that I still wasnt over Alex. Knowing Matt knew... I loved him and he ripped my heart in two... Luckily Matt put it back together again and that I would soon get over him. I hope...

Chapter nine: every one hates Mondays ....

Me And Matt walked to school and be fore any one could see us we kissed each other good bye and promised we would meet up here after school.

my first class was bio. And I swore under my breath knowing I had that class with Alex sitting right beside me.

I walked into the class room and sat down. Alex stared at me and I flattened my ears. "what?" I growled ,"want to insult me some more?"

He turned his head some quick, knowing I was pissed.

"Fine ," he chuckled and shook his head. "Just pointing out you look like shit..."

" well you are a piece of shit!" I growled once again. I couldnt keep this up forever, I was about to break down and cry if he said any more mean things to me.

"look.." he said softly," I'm sorry but I can't be seen hanging out with you," the tears were coming and I could swear that I was about to just walk out. " but...it doesn't mean I don't want to still be friends..." I started to laugh when he said those words.

"shut the fuck up before I punch you in the nose and kick you In those tiny marbles you call balls you asshole." I barked and every one stare at me. The teacher walked in and it was deathly silent.

" what's going on?" he asked the class and no one said a word except Alex. " trenton's just being a whiny little bitch..." he laughed.

I pulled my arm back and socked him right on the nose. And fell backwards knocked out.

"Cant say I didnt warn him..." I growled and walked out of the class. As soon as I stepped across the threshold I started to cry from what Alex said... He's changed so much... I walked towards the nurses office to go talk to the nurse seeing as she was the only one that under stood what I was going through...

Chapter Ten: Return to the nurses office.

I opened the door praying she didnt have a pationt right now. She turned towards me and smiled. "what can I do for you Hun?" she asked me.

" I just need a place to hang out for a while." I sighed softly.

" well I didnt get to introduce myself properly last time we met." she smiled, " I'm Christen gale, most of the students call me Chris for short."

"You might get a pationt with a broken nose within the next hour or so." I growled. " Alex wouldnt stop making fun of me and I don't know why..."the tears ran free and I didnt even try to hold them back.

"Alex was the boy that came in here with your mom the other day right?" she asked puzzled. " let me guess.. He was your first crush and he found out and he started to hate you..." she raised and eye brow towards me and her paw touched mine. "remember what I told you on Friday?"

"He didnt find out..." I frowned, "He just...changed..." I remembered Matt..."if it wasnt for him saying that he didnt want to hang out with a loser I wouldnt have met Matt..." I smiled sweetly and looked up into her eyes." I came back here to come talk to you when i met Matt... He's the best thing that ever happened to me. He's kind, loving, caring, and he's mine." I wiped away my tears and laughed quietly to my self.

" a wolf right?" she laughed. "he's my son."

I stared at her in awe looking at the squrril.

"I adopted him when he was a cub," she smiled widely, "he never told me he was gay..." her smile widened and I laughed at the irony or the situation.

"Hes really cuddly" I looked at my feet and smiled," I love him... But I still have feelings for Alex.. What do I do Chris?" my smile turned into a frown quickly.

She took my left paw and held it with both of hers. " do what ever the he'll you want." she smiled. her ear flicked and she flew to her desk and pulled out a bandage and began wrapping it around my hand.

"now I'm going to have to keep you here so I can change the bandage in a hour." she said as the door opened and Alex walked into the room.

I low growl eminateing from my throat."how's your nose jackass?" I grinned.

" broken like your face is going to be in a minute if you don't get out of here!" he barked and I laughed. Inside I knew this was wrong . I shouldnt be fighting with him.

"why are you acting this way Alex?" I asked him throwing my arms into the air in frustration. "what's with the sudden change of personality?!?"

He looked down and my eyes opened wide. I could see tear drops falling from his face. "Alex?" I said softly, knowing that I was going to get an answer here and now.

"I love you!" he barked and I just stood there frozen...

Chapter eleven: the choices to be chosen

"What?" I said as I stared at him with eyes filled with tears. those words that I have waited so long to hear and it was too much. And I knew the right thing to do was walk out and leave him heart broken like he left me. "Alex you have no idea how long I have waited to hear those words." I smirked and laughed. "but I don't think you can love me the way my BOYFRIEND loves me Alex." I felt tears streaming down my face." I'm sorry but I-"

"I can change Trenton please!" he was crying as well and he stepped closer toward me. I laid my ears Flatt against my head as He placed his muzzle against mine and he kissed me with all the love he could muster and I pulled away from him. My tail fell between my legs and I laughed at the thought of my and Alex actually being together. " give me one week to make a final decision between you and m-" I cut myself off thinking of an alias for Matt," mike..."

Thank you he laughed and licked my cheek and I blushed deep red. He left the nurses office totally forgetting about his broken nose. And Chris stepped out of the back room," your going to have fun with this arnt you?" she laughed , I looked towards her and smiled.

" I'm going to jerk him around until he gets what he deserves. In the end I'm going to pick Matt. No matter what." I smiled at Chris and she laughed once again.

"Dont get too carried away." she stuck her toung out and removed the bandage from my arm and gave me a quick Hug. "and be careful about this okay?" she looked worried this time and I pulled away and raised my left paw.

"Cubs honor" she laughed and I trotted off to my next class.
