Hypnovember 2023 - Day 27: Werewolf (Claimed by Thunder)
#27 of Hypnovember 2023
There's a beautiful full moon outside tonight. Beware of werewolves, everyone. I'm not going to say much about this story other than that - I think it'd spoil the fun.
Claimed by Thunder (https://www.furaffinity.net/user/thunderwolf2100)! Hope you guys enjoy it.
Thunder was used to taking walks all on his own.
It was a thing he'd been doing since he was young - going out for a stroll at night, especially if the sky was clear and the moon was round. As a wolf, he knew this kind of behavior was somewhat stereotypical, but he couldn't care less.
This night, however, things were different.
He'd been following the path behind the building he lived in, one that meandered between brambles and pine trees. It was a path Thunder knew well and had walked many times, but he'd been feeling restless ever since he'd left his house. He couldn't say he was a superstitious wolf, but it just so happened that the moon was gorgeously full.
And he couldn't stop looking at it.
It's not like that means something will happen, he kept on telling himself. Just that you're admiring the view, which is what everyone would do, wolf or not.
He'd always loved the night sky. So why did he have the weird feeling that his eyes were wandering to the huge silver globe hanging over his head more often than usual? Why couldn't he stop thinking that it was happening for a completely different reason tonight?
His head felt weird. Like all kinds of thoughts were rushing in and out, vanishing like moonlight before he could really process them.
Feeling the crusty gravel under his feet, Thunder stroked his elbow. His fur was tingling - there was an itch he wasn't sure he had yet scratched properly. As his claws sank across his soft fur, the wolf thought that he somehow found himself... bigger. Stronger. The more he walked, eyes glued to the moon, the less he thought he was feeling like himself. His body felt... altered.
His mind felt altered.
This is silly, he tried to think. I'm just taking a walk. I'm myself. I've simply been working out more often lately and I hadn't checked myself out until now. That's it.
He kept on repeating those ideas, over and over, trying to calm the growing voice inside of him calling for his attention. But he didn't want to waste any attention on that.
The only thing he was interested in was the moon.
And as Thunder walked, his eyes mirroring the fascinating white disc up in the sky, the wolf's clothes began to feel tight. Too tight. He noticed it first with the collar of his shirt. It was making it difficult to breathe. His shirt also felt tight around his shoulders and arms and chest. Restraining his movements. Distracting him from the full moon. Slowing his walk.
What had started as a minor discomfort soon became annoyance. Thunder had a sudden urge and ripped his shirt off with a growl.
His claws, sharper now, slashed through the checkered fabric as if it was butter. The wolf's chest swelled as he breathed in, finally free. Then, he shook his torso, fully exposed, until the last shreds of fabric fell to the ground. There. That felt much better.
When that was done, the wolf's attention turned to a different matter.
There was someone on the path. Not too far, just a few meters away.
The wolf's mouth watered as he imagined the scent of prey filling his nostrils, the texture of flesh in his fangs. The figure he could see at the end of the path was big, but so was he. He was big and strong and ready to bite. Thunder - or whatever remained of him at that point - fantasized with the idea of hunting until the wind blew and he caught a different smell. He got a bit closer just to make sure, but he already knew.
That wasn't prey. That was Master.
"I see you're having a good night," the other werewolf said as a greeting. "Hope you're not planning to have too much fun without me."
Thunder tried to speak, but only a low, rolling growl escaped his throat. The other wolf grinned, showing a smirk full of teeth. He was holding something in his huge paw - something at first Thunder didn't recognize, but that aroused memories inside his hazy mind.
"You remember this is, right?" the werewolf asked, still grinning. He raised his paw to put it in front of Thunder's face. "Your harness. Need to keep you nice and contained now, hmm? We can't let you think you're completely free."
Thunder growled again. His eyes glanced up at the silver moon - and when he looked back down, he realized the werewolf had already secured the harness around his thick arms and wide chest, leather straps neatly pressed against his shoulders. It felt tight, but not in an unpleasant way, like his clothes had. It felt good because Master had put it there.
He could also rip it off, of course. Tensing his muscles should have been enough to make the leather straps snap, but Master had said the harness was unbreakable.
And that meant it was.
A powerful wave of euphoria washed over Thunder when Master grabbed his harness' ring and pushed him closer, staring deeply into his glassy eyes.
"And of course you're not completely free. You belong to me as part of my pack. And you'll follow me wherever I go, won't you?"
Thunder howled in response, wild enthusiasm flooding his chest.
The loud sound died in his throat as Master sank his fangs hard on his shoulder, turning the howling into a soft whimper. For a second, he felt immensely submissive to Master, completely subjugated to his will... and then, as soon as those fangs pulled away from his shoulder, he felt powerful and strong and big and dominant again.
Master seemed to notice it in his eyes and chuckled softly.
"That's a good pup. Now, let's go hunt together. There's a long night ahead of us."
