A story I wrote back in 2022 for my good friend bobbob2 ; writing it up as a Birthday Gift for them.

Set in the Champion's universe, Razira is investigating a series of disappearances in the district of west side, leading her into a terrifying encounter with the web-slinging spiderpus Funnel Widow, one of Dr Genesis's many creations. Can withstand the terror of fighting the massive humanoid spider hybrid; or will she end up as Widow's latest meal?

“I don't like these reports, so many people in such a short amount of time, all in the same area and yet the MCPD haven't found a trace" Razira thought to herself as she stood on the top of a high rise apartment building, overlooking a section of the west side district.

The werewolf superhero had recently gotten word of a number of strange disappearances within westside, which at first appeared to be gang on gang violence between the New Purple Gang and the Cobra Lords; however it soon became apparent that regular everyday citizens were starting to disappear as well.

While the police were having trouble investigating the case itself, Razira took it upon herself to take it up and track down these missing people; as she felt, regardless of who they were, had family and friends desperate for their safe return. As a valiant hero with the Protectors of the World, it was her sworn duty to protect and save those individuals no matter what.

Bending her knees, she sprung forward and propelled herself off the rooftop, then focusing her pyrokinetic powers, her hands and feet became ablaze as she flew through the skies above west side, heading to the location of the latest disappearance; just outside the WCOC radio station.

It was a pretty short flight, as she gently landed on the footpath and started surveying the area. It was the afternoon and folks were still out and about in the streets making their way home for the day. Some people stopped and took photos of her as she stood there, others gawking at the muscular athletic toned werewolf donned in her red reinforced top, blue spandex pants and metal arm and ankle braces.

She just gave a happy smile to the crowd, then moved on towards the last spot the victim was seen, a 28 year old sound producer from the station itself; who was last seen on a smoke break in the side alleyway next to the building itself. Stepping into the alley, observing the side stairway leading to an access door into the radio station, and various dumpsters and old pallets resting up against the brick walls on either side.

“Ok, so he was last seen here by eyewitnesses after 8pm, from the report given by station staff, he was angered by a production hiccup during one of the evening broadcasts and went outside to stress smoke… Not the healthiest way to destress but to each of their own" Razira continued thinking as she tried to make sense of the crime scene. Looking down the alley, she saw that instead of exiting out into another street, it seemed to extend into a side alley.

Having a hunch, she moved down the alleyway, her nose wiggled a bit as she walked past the dumpster, trying to put the day's old trash smell out of her mind as she jogged down and turned left into the new alley. She was met with a straight up dead end, mostly loose trash, stacked up garbage bags and a sewer manhole. “Urrggh, well that sucks, looks like there's no way he could have gone that way.." Razira thought, her shoulders slouching in defeat as she began to turn back to the station alleyway.

…That was until something caught her eye from the stacked trash bags, something just barely shining in the afternoon sun. Curious, she headed over to the bags, having to hold her breath a little just so she wouldn't inhale or get an unwanted whiff of whatever contents had been left inside. As she started to move some of the bags, she felt something sticky like glue on her hand, and instantly reacted by flailing and trying to get it off.

Upon inspection, she found spider silk, but it was somehow different, extremely sticky and thicker than anything she has seen from any normal spider. “Ewww get off!" She muttered out loud as she shook her hand and finally ridded herself of the nasty substance. However she was quick to notice that the same webbing was coating and even binding the bags together, in a very unnatural manner.

“What spider would collect trash like this?" She wondered as she continued to move away the bags and break up the webbing, revealing a heavily webbed up section of a wall that had loosely placed bricks. Placing her hand forward, she unleashed a brief flash of flame on the webbing, melting it away as the bricks fell through a now exposed gap in the wall. “Ok either the victim was taken by a giant spider that is smart enough to cover their tracks, or someone is really into authentic halloween decorations…I really hope it's the latter!" Razira mentally said to herself, shivering a little at the idea of a giant spider on the loose in the west side.

Upon looking into the gap, she found it was large enough for her to fit in, and shining a flaming hand into the gap, the space inside extended down into what appeared to be a tunnel system, likely an old sewer tunnel or maybe a booze tunnel from the prohibition period. Squeezing through, she slid inside and carefully stepped down into the tunnel, thankful that it was dry and very much didn't smell like a sewer.

Looking around, she saw the tunnel itself extended downwards, a quick whiff of the dry air allowed her to detect the faint smell of a human, a scent trail to follow down, it was clear that the producer came this way and likely not willingly. She also picked up a strange scent that she couldn't make out, which concerned her somewhat. Still she pressed on and headed down the tunnel, her hand flame lighting the way, her tail swishing slightly behind her as she stayed alert.

Walking further, she saw whole barrels, dusty and covered in cobwebs laid up against the side of the tunnel, really old wooden ones. “Guess this is an old booze runner tunnel, one that was never discovered", Razira's thought process continued to press hold the idea that there was something criminal to all this, that was until she felt something wet and sticky on her foot. “huh?!" She said in surprise and quickly looked down to see a gobby mass of sticky liquid, which looked exactly like the sticky webbing she saw previously.

The mass she had stepped on was about the size of a small football, but her foot was stuck in good, as she jerked and tried to free her trapped foot from the goo. “Grrr come on! What the hell is this stuff!?" She snarled in frustration, unaware of the strains of webbing connected to the glob, that extended to more webbing along the walls; with each struggling gesture she made sending vibrations into the strains.

It took her a good minute or two to finally yank her foot out of the glob, then blasted it with a small fireball to melt it away in anger. “Yeah not so tough now are you sticky bastard!" She shouted, very much not enjoying the experience. It was then she noticed the webbing along the walls, and when she turned up the flame on her hand, noticed other sticky globs dotting the tunnel. She felt a shiver down her back upon seeing this, clearly they were traps, and more and more she was starting to fear that the idea of a giant intelligent spider might be more of a reality than she might like.

She wanted to turn back so badly, but knew she couldn't as doing so would be potentially not only abandoning the missing individuals, but also abandoning her principals as a superhero. She moved on more carefully, stepping over and avoiding the globs, as she headed deeper and deeper into the tunnel system. After what felt like hours of careful travel, she came into a large seemingly foggy space, with even more webbing spread out all the way into the concrete ceiling.

“What is this place?" She wondered, she had been all over Millennium City, yet this place was new to her, nothing on the maps for the city mentioned or directed to such a location, which appeared to be a vast underground storage complex of sorts. Her wonder of her surroundings however proved to be both careless and dangerous when she suddenly walked right into a floating blanket of thick webbing.

Her reaction was to instantly scream out in surprise and struggle, but it in turn triggered a tripwire mechanism for the web, as she was yanked upwards, howling and yelping as the blanket quickly wrapped and cocooned around her. Muffling she struggled and thrashed about like a bug stuck in a spider's web, panicked whines as she desperately tried to free herself before whatever created these webs came by to catch her.

In her desperation she unleashed her pyrokinesis from her hand and feet, engulfing her in an aura of flames which quickly melted the webbing, freely her from it's grasp; but in turn sending her falling down for a hard landing on the concrete flood below; as she crashed down with a thug and a pained yelp. “Oww dammit should have thought that one through…grrgh!" She grunted out and rubbed her shoulder and back before getting back up.

…Just in time to see before her the swaying hanging form of a cocooned person. “Aaahhhh!" She yelped out, staggering back and right into another swaying cocooned person, causing her to jump again. Looking around her quickly, there were several individuals all cocooned in webbing and hanging suspended off the ground from the ceiling. She shivered in fear, there was no denying it now that she was very much in the lair of a truly massive spider, one that had been abducting the citizens of west side.

With caution she approached one of the swaying cocoons and used her claws to rip and pry away the wrappings from where the head would be, and to her surprise and shock, saw the face of a Cobra Lord gangbanger, who's eyes was in a blank comatose like state, yet to her relief they were still breathing. “He's alive…meaning the others must be…" She said to herself as she quickly did the same to the other cocoons, prying open the head section and seeing they were all alive but comatose, some looking pale as if they had been drained.

“So you found my snacks little pupper! Was wondering when one of you little costumed do-gooders would show up!" Said a woman's voice, which seemed to echo all throughout the complex, causing Razira's ears to perk up and for her to instantly get into a defensive fighting stance.

“So you're a talking giant spider as well huh? Where are you then beast! I'm not gonna let you have any more victims!" Razira shouted out, looking around her in the fog, which she was sure was a mix of floating webs and dense moisture.

The voice only laughed back with a bellowing and condescending tone before continuing, “Foolish little pup, It's Razira isn't it?"

This made Razira's fear grew even more so, the fur on the back of her neck standing up as the voice continued. “Oh yes I know who you are, the moment you triggered my little early warning traps, it was easy for me to become aware of your presents and prepare for you!"

“If you are so prepared for me, how about you show yourself then!" Razira shouted back.

“As you wish, just hope for your own sake you aren't arachnophobic!" The voice sounded again, before the large room was suddenly filled with the hum of what sounded like air conditioning equipment. Razira saw the fog beginning to lift a little, and lights began to turn on in the corner ceilings, which gave some light to the area, showing the true size of the place, large enough to be an industrial warehouse.

It was out of the lit fog that she saw a shadow on the other side of the room, a massive humanoid figure stepping out with their hands on their hips, body swaying as they walked, she could have sworn they had someone equally massive behind them. Moving away from the swaying cocoons, Razira made it to the center of the room, ready to confirm this creature, and it was there that she saw its true form.

It was indeed humanoid, It had a chubby plump looking female body with a pear like shape to it, massive arms and legs and what appeared to be a spider like abdomen with spinnerets sticking out from the lower back. She wore a bodysuit that had a black and red marking matching that of a black widow spider, and thigh high boots and long gloves that were webbed at the fingers. What was most striking however was the head, which had a platypus like bill, with prehensile spider like fangs on either side of the bill itself, long puffed up hair upon her head and eight eyes, two large humanoid ones and six smaller eyes, all dotted across her forehead.

Razira couldn't believe what was before her, she never seen such a creature before, and didn't know fully what to expect, however she was kinda thankful it wasn't an actual giant spider; but knew she had to take this thing down if she wanted to get the victims out of here. “Either your really late on halloween costuming, or your the first time someone made a platypus into nightmare fuel…Got a name miss?"

“Funnel Widow, among the most successful of Dr Genesis's fateful creations", the spiderpus spoke, a satisfied smirk appearing on her face which only made Razira even more unsettled.

“Dr who? Never heard them before" Razira shot back.

“Oh but you will get to meet him soon…once i bring you to him! Oh the things he would love to experiment on with you!" Funnel Widow said, as she got into a stance much like that of a wrestler or grappler.

“Sorry but I don't do well with folks wanting to experiment on me! Gonna give you a chance now to get lost and release these people at once!" Razira said, as her left hand lit up in flames, while her right hand started forming a cold mist of aqua coloured ice.

“Then maybe you will enjoy being my next meal instead!" Widow shouted back, and without missing a beat, her abdomen shifted position and pointed its spinners directly at Razira, before firing out a steady directional stream of spider silk, intending to connect with the werewolf.

Razira however was quick enough to dodge out of the way in time, her eyes widening as the stream shot past her and impacted the wall. Before she could get her footing, Funnel Widow retracted the silk and pulled herself forward at a high rate of speed, zipping by and swiping out at the werewolf, managing to catch her in the face and knocking her to her belly.

She looked up and growled as the spiderpus reached the wall, using her legs to disconnect the web and began to crawl along the wall and onto the ceiling at a quick pace. Razira tracked her movements and got back to her feet, just in time to dodge out of the way of another attack to ensnare her in webbing, as she got behind a pillar and planned her next move.

“You're as quick as they say little wolf, but you can't dodge forever!" Widow bellowed out as she continued to crawl all over the ceiling, looking for Razira. The werewolf dashed out from cover and unleashed a barrage of fireballs at the spiderpus, forcing her to skitter away quickly as the flames impacted and melted away the mass of webbing.

The hybrid monster then started to unleash globs of sticky goop, the size of cannonballs at the werewolf, who continued to dodge and evade, backing her up and keeping her at a distance. Another barrage of goop was fired out at her, some of it shooting way over her, but the first impacting close, forcing her back; however she was too late to realize it was a ruse as she back walked right into a pile of the sticky goop, trapping both her feet instantly.

“Aaahh! No Get off!" She shouted as she pulled and tried to free both of her free, growling both in frustration and panic; and in turn taking her eyes off Funnel Widow. She barely had enough time to see a chunk of concrete come speeding towards her, causing the heroine to quickly bring up both her arms and brace them in front of her face. The concrete shattered on impact with her forearms, causing Razira to grit her teeth from the sharp impact pain caused by the building material. Then seconds later she felt that same sticky web latch onto both of her arms, sending a shivering sense of dread through her spine; the damm spiderpus set her up.

Funnel Widow quickly ran across the ceiling, anchoring the web to the ceiling and tightening it as Razira's arms are forced upwards, effectively trapping her in place with her arms held up towards the ceiling and her feet glued in place on the ground. The werewolf yelped and struggled as Widow descended from the ceiling slowly before her, landing gracefully and walking right up to Razira; who's heart was racing a mile a minute.

“Quick reflexes but not quick enough to escape my eyes! Now let's have some fun!" Widow chuckled, before clenching her fists then beginning to deliver hard fast punches and strikes to Razira's mid and upper torso, causing her to cry out and yelp in pain as she was rocked by each hit; effectively being used as a living punching bag. The spiderpus just laughed at the werewolf's pain, throwing even harder punches right at Razira's gut to make her go limp and become winded.

“Come on! Is that all you've got? Would be a shame if you failed our expectations now puppy!" The spiderpus smirked as she grabbed Razira by her muzzle and lifted her up, before delivering several hard slaps to the werewolf's face, all while mockingly laughing at her. Razira growled and closed one of her eyes from the stinging pain, shaking her head as she endured, then got mad as her hands became engulfed in flames, quickly breaking the web holding her arms, as she delivered a powerful fiery overhead hammer fist strike right on Widow's head, staggering her back as she became stunned.

Using this moment, Razira would blast both her feet with flames from her hands, quickly melting the goop, and shaking the rest off, before quickly crouching and launching herself at Funnel widow before she could recover; crash tackling her to the ground as she started delivering repeated strikes of her own in kind. Widow would take a few of the hits before blocking with her hands, but the werewolf continued to swipe and deliver more angered strikes; pulling back her fist to deliver a fiery ground pound.

It wasn't to be as Funnel Widow's spineret would fire off a powerful strain to a nearby wall, quickly yanking the spiderpus from under the werewolf just as she threw her fist, causing her to smash and crack the ground just where widow was moments before. Quickly shaking her hand as she got back to her feet quickly, she saw the spiderpus skittering across the wall quickly out of sign, putting them both right back to a twisted game of hide and seek.

“This is a lot harder than a thought…" Razira thought to herself, wincing a bit as she clutched her mid section, letting her regeneration kick in to heal the very heavy bruises under her top. as she listened for any sign of Funnel Widow. Taking a quick sniff, she picked up Widow's scent, then quickly turned around to see the spider hybrid leaping at her like a giant jumping spider, causing Razira to leap back and land a few feet away as Widow landed right where she was.

The two then rushed each other, throwing punches and kicks, trading blows and having it out with their fists, as Razira used her speed and reflexes to get in some good jabs and uppercuts on Widow's large torso frame. However with eight eyes, Widow started to catch on, blocking most of the werewolf's follow up against and locking hands with Razira. The two growled at each other, almost in a contest of strength as they both tried to gain leverage and advantage over the other.

Razira world with this, surprising Widow at first as she twisted and bent Widow's wrists and forced her to her knees, giving her a slight confidence boost as she smirked. However the spiderpus wasn't done just yet, and managed to push back and get to her feet again. She then took the werewolf by surprise by pulling back and jerking Razira forward suddenly, causing her to slam and bounce right off the spiderpus's plus sized form, making her stagger back, only to be nailed as Widow spun around and smacked her abdomen right into her, sending Razira sliding across the ground several feet.

She clutched her head and rubbed it as she slowly sat up, groaning from getting literally butt whipped by a spider hybrid, then yelped as more webbing latched onto both her feet and she was viciously dragged across the ground. She dug her claws into the concrete, trying to get some leverage as Funnel widow reeled her in like a fisherman pulling in their catch. As she smirked as she grabbed Razira by her feet, pulling her up and forcefully feeding both of the werewolf's legs up under her arms as she began to perform a giant swing wrestling move on her.

Razira yelped and panic screamed as she was rapidly spun around and around, unable to wriggle free as she was put through more than a dozen revolutions before getting tossed across the room. At the last moment she saw she was about to land in a mass of webbing, as she quickly blasted out intense jets of heat, propelling herself away from the webs as she dropped to the floor on her knees, her mind still spinning from the dizzy inducing move.

“Impressive, maybe you will endure until the end hero!" Funnel Widow taunted as she slowly walked towards the dizzy werewolf, however Razira had other ideas as she suddenly slammed both her hands into the floor and instantly froze the concrete in a directional blast right towards the spiderpus. Not only did the floor become icy and slippery, but she managed to trap the spider hybrid's feet to the floor, giving Widow a taste of her own medicine as she was now struggling to break free.

“Not so fun when it happens to you isn't it!" Razira shot back as she jumped up and slid on the ice as if she was skating, then with a powerful leap, she performed a dropkick right at Widow's chest, with the icy bonds on the spider hybrid's feet breaking apart as she was send flying back and tumbling several mattress from the impact. Razira flipped back up to her feet in time to see Funnel Widow hiss in pain and anger, getting back up as she scattered away again into the darkness.

“Getting real tired of you running off like a coward!" Razira shouted out as she surveyed the area and looked for any possible point that the spiderpus would come out to attack her again. All she heard back in return was more mocking laughter as Widow responded, “Oh how rich, well little puppy, why don't you come into the dark to find me…unless you're scared!". This struck a nerve with Razira, it was bad enough she was fighting this monster lady in an underground complex, but to fight in the dark with the risk of ending up in a confined space; that really did scare her.

But at the same time, she knew she had to take on the challenge, it was either facing her fears or letting those captive remain in peril. Lighting up both her hands in flames she rushed into the darkness, and as luck would have it she managed to catch Funnel Widow off guard. “Here I come!" She shouted as she leaped at the spider hybrid and engaged her in fiery hand to hand combat yet again; with her flaming fists managing to connect several times with the spiderpus, who hissed and shouted out in grunts of pain.

Razira saw that even with eight eyes, the intense blurry nature of her fiery fists was proving too distracting to Funnel Widow, who was now on the defensive; blocking and taking the blows as her body suit warped and tightened from the heat stress. In desperation she fired off a strain of silk from her abdomen and shot out of the darkness and into the open, with Razira following her and pressing the attack.

“I thought spiders were supposed to have great night vision!" The werewolf smirked with a taunt as she delivered a few powerful body kicks and more punches, which were more accurately blocked and resisted by Widow. “Shut up! I'm getting tired of your flames!" The spiderpus shouted back as she managed to forcefully grab both of Razira's forearms, as both women struggled; then delivered several painful muay thai style knee strikes to Razira's gut, causing her to sharply groan and cry in pain.

She then harshly shoved her to the ground, and before Razira could react, aimed her abdomen at her and spat out globs of sticky silk goop, connecting with the werewolf's feet and hands, sticking her in place on the ground. “Grrr No! Not Again!" Razira whined and shouted as she struggled again and looked up at the towering spider hybrid, who developed a devilish grin on her billed face. “I'm gonna crush you pup!" She bellowed out then shot a strain to the ceiling and reeled herself upwards.

Razira continued to struggle as she watched what Widow was doing, then her eyes widened as she observed her positioning herself to leap at her. She knew what was coming and desperately tried to break free, but the silk itself was too sticky, and what flames she tried to call upon couldn't get enough oxygen. “Look out below!" She heard Funnel Widow call out, as she looked to see the spider hybrid leaping and descending right at her, unable to free herself as more than 250 pounds of spiderpus body landed right on top of her, cracking the ground in a web-like pattern upon impact.

If Razira was yelping or screaming in pain, it was muffled as she was completed smushed under Widow's body, the spiderpus chuckling as she pressed down the grinded her weight right on the werewolf, adding more insult to injuring with pure body pressing torment. After a good minute she got back to her feet and stood over Razira's twitching form, and on her hips as she laughed “What's wrong too much for you?!"

Razira gritted her teeth and groaned “Uurrgh too much weight!" She thought to herself as her healing factor worked overtime to help her recover from being crushed against a concrete flood; on the plus side she could feet the bonds of the goop on her hands and feet wearing off, likely from heat friction caused by Widow's body press. She was still in too much pain from the impact to stop Widow as she crouched down and grabbed her, then started to spray and spin webs around the struggling werewolf.

Within a minute Razira was wrapped from neck to toe, panicking as Widow hoisted her up into her arms and smiled. “There we go! all wrapped up and nowhere to go! How about we take a little walk!" She laughed as she started tauntingly bridal carrying the struggling werewolf around the concrete web coated complex on a sort of tour; taking it slow and deliberate as she swayed Razira in her arms.

“Put me down! Let me ggoooooo!" Razira cried out in embarrassment and struggles as Widow continued to carry her around in a mocking fashion, even humming a tune as she made the experience even more humiliating; Razira was glad that the victims were unconscious and no one was there to witness her in such a compromising position. “But you look great, all webbed up and helpless pup!" Widow laughed then started to slowly stomp her way towards a dark section of the complex, which Razira instantly thought of as the spiderpus's main living space.

She struggled, knowing once she goes in there, she is done for, as struggled and even tried to bite through the web, only to get her mouth now stuck in the sticky material. She whined and was close to tears, her ears folded back as her heart raced, she needed to get free. She thought of something and quickly focused, and just as it looked like she would be lost forever to Funnel Widow's dark lair, her whole body bursted bright with orange and fired flames, surprising and earning a pained scream from the spider hybrid, causing her to drop the werewolf to the ground.

Upon impact the webbing melted apart and Razira rolled away quickly, her icy powers instantly kicked in to compensate for the intense burst of heat and coated her in cool icy mist to both cool her down and protect her; however it had the slight annoying side effect of making her fur damp instantly, much to her annoyance.

“I'm not gonna be taken prisoner so easily!" She shouted back, while quickly shaking off excess dampness from her body; then taking advantage of Widow trying to recover from the sudden heat exposure but leaping at her and delivering a powerful roundhouse kick to the side of her head, sending her crashing to the ground with a sickening thud. When the spiderpus tried to shoot out her strain to make a quick escape, Razira was ready 'Oh no you don't!" She shouted again as she blasted the strain, and leaped onto the spider hybrid for a rapid fire ground pounding.

Widow hissed and cried out more in pain as more punches corrected with her, her eyes shutting to try protect them from getting damaged as she covered her head, only to expose her midsection to more strikes. Razira mounted onto Funnel Widow and held back an icy fist, ready to strike, “Do you yield?" she demanded, hoping the monster lady would just quit already. Opening her eyes the spider hybrid hissed back and put her hands up as if yielding, “Truly you are as strong as they say, for a member of the Protectors.." she spoke out, drawing Razira's attention away from the slowly rising abdomen appearing behind the werewolf.

“Just shut up and yield already!" Razira shouted back, still at the ready. “No furball, it will be you that shuts up!" Widow smirked and gestured with her eyes to Razira to look behind her. As she did so she sprayed right in the face with a sticky glob of web that shut her muzzle tight and covered her nose, causing her to flail and stagger off the spider hybrid as she clawed the tried to get the webbing off her face, with muffled cries as she struggled to breath; allowing the spiderpus to get up and rush away quickly yet again.

Razira heated up her hands, gripping and yanking hard on the webbing as she softened it up and managed to pull it off, gasping for air as she fell to her knees, coughing and taking in deep breaths. She pounded the ground in frustration, this was starting to be one of her toughest fights yet, she needed to find someway to gain leverage back; however she didn't have time to fully process her next move as that familiar feeling of web strains impacting her body jolted her mind back to the find.

She had been ensnared by her back, looking up to see Funnel Widow cackling up on the ceiling, she tried to run and pull free but it was no use, as the spiderpus, reeled her off the ground and dangled her about; with Razira kicking and flailing to get free. “No use struggling pup! Time to teach you a lesson!" the monster lady called out as she gripped and began to manipulate the strain with her hands, spinning the werewolf around rapidly like a bolo. Razira screamed and yelped yet again, as she was violently spun around repeatedly, before getting tossed harshly into a waiting mass of webbing.

The web itself only slowed her force a bit as she impacted and bounced off the concrete wall with a thud, groaning as she slid down in the web and was entangled even more by it, barely able to move as she tried to desperately break free. Lucky for her she still had oxygen around her hands, and decided a mix of fire and ice would do the trick as she inflamed one side and froze the other, making parts of the web melt away while others became frosty and break easily. She descended down upon breaking from the mass of webbing, but her victory was short lived again as she was quickly snatched up by another powerful strain of silk spray, this time catching her around her torso and arms as she yelped.

Widow wasn't done as she pulled hard and reeled Razira towards her rapidly, then spun her rapidly again, before slamming her hard into the floor with another sickening thud; the strain breaking and Razira stopped moving after impact. “Ooooohh that sounded like something broke!" Widow taunted as she marched on over and heard groans and whimpering from Razira. She reached down and took hold of her, lifting her up as she gripped her torso, keeping her arms pressed against it.

Razira winced in pain, the impact indeed broke her arm, and her regeneration was going into overdrive as it mended the damage, and still she struggled to break free regardless of the pain. It was then she noticed the spiderpus licking her bill at the heroine, then opening her bill wide as she began to rear her head back; which confused the werewolf at first. Then with a sudden motion, Funnel Widow drove with her bill and chomped right onto Razira's head, engulfing it completely within her large maw all the way down to just past the werewolf's shoulders.

“AAhhhhh! EW EW EW EW EW GET OFF GET OFF GET OFF!" Razira yelped and shouted in a panic as her legs kicked rapidly, her tail thrashing about and her struggles became more rampant. She was literally in the process of being swallowed alive by a freaking platypus spider monster thing and she desperately wanted to break free. Her arm was still mending yet she badly needed her fire powers, wincing and growling, very much not enjoying the slobber from Widow's mouth, nor her breath, as she felt sharp stabbing pains on either side of her neck.

She knew she needed to get free, and weighing her options, she could live with her arm still out of commission for a bit longer; as she screamed out and unleashed flaming jets of flames from her hands, directly at Widow's feet. This caused the spiderpus's eyes to widen as she sputtered and spat out Razira from her maw, shouting in pain and staggering back, then quickly using her spinnerets to fire off silk and reel herself back into the darkness, clear in much pain.

Razira herself staggered backwards and crash landed on her backside, groaning and shaking the slobber from her, then clutching her arm as she snarled. She sat there for a bit as she felt her arm finally healing up, her breathing heavy and somewhat labored as she got back to her feet, resuming her fighting stance as she awaited Widow. But for some reason, she didn't come out to attack, instead there was an air of silence in the room, which only grew even more unsettling by the minute.

“Did I get her?" She thought to herself, as she wandered around cautiously, rubbing her neck abit which started to feel stiff and sore, likely from being chomped on from earlier. She then could hear faint hissing and breathing nearby, getting into a stance as she watched Funnel Widow stepping out of the shadows, her suit was even more heat damaged from before and she was likely trying to heal up herself.

“So had enough, looks like you couldn't handle your spice huh?" Razira quipped out with a smirk, only to wince and cough abit as the spiderpus gave her a chuckle in return. Then all of a sudden, Razira started to feel tingling on her lips, as if her lips started to go numb, and a nausea feeling started to take hold of her; as her head and neck began to throb with intense pain. “Oh my, are you sick all of a sudden?" Widow said with a mocking tone as Razira suddenly collapsed to her knees and coughed, feeling her airway tightening abit as she felt like vomiting.

“What….did you….do ….to ….Me?!" She called out while looking up at the spiderpus, who merely pointed at her set of fangs on either side of her bill. “Dr genesis made me using dna from several species of spider, but the venom compound is that of Atrax robustus, also known as the Sydney funnel web spider…pretty nasty stuff with its robustotoxin…Never tested it on a werewolf before but looks like the results are pretty conclusive!" Widow spoke, then laughed as Razira struggled to get to her feet, only to collapse down prone, clawing at the ground; she was in real trouble now.

Descending down upon her, Widow bundled Razira up and started to wrap her in webbing, with little to no resistance this time around from the werewolf as she scooped her up and carried her to the main part of her little nest. The heroine groaned and sweated in her grasp, with the venom running its course within her body, leaving her almost completely paralyzed.

Upon getting to the web, the spiderpus hummed as she threw Razira into th3 webbing and got to work ripping and adjusting sticky strains and manipulating the werewolf's body as she adjusted and stuck her in a spread eagle position, ensuring escape would be impossible. What struggles Razira would muster were fruitless as she was now completely stuck, whimpering as looked at a very pleased Funnel Widow standing before her.

She then watched the spiderpus pull out phone from her bodysuit. The case appeared to have some heat damage on it, likely from Widow getting hit by her fiery attacks earlier. The monster lady speed dialed a reprogrammed number and put it on speaker before speaking to another person on the other end, "I imagine you were impressed with our future test subject doctor?" She said with a slight Australian accent.

“Ah yes, she has proven herself to be quite the subject, she has already proven herself to be worthy of further experimentation, much more satisfying that previous subjects…However i feel she deserves more testing, so my dear Funnel Widow, feel free to put her through her paces, then bring her to me!" Said a voice over the phone, which was an older male with a thick polish accent.

“At once Dr Genesis!" Widow replied before hanging up the phone and tossing it off to the side into some web, looking at Razira with a lick of her bill yet again. “The dear doctor wishes for me to test you further! So I will, but I must say, all that fighting and getting burnt by you has made me quite famished!" She spoke out with a degree of venom in her voice as she walked over and grabbed the werewolf by her chest and head; feeling the fear coming off Razira.

“What are…you…gonna…do…to me?!" Razira demanded with as much strength as she could muster, as she tried to summon her ice and flames, but got nothing, clearly the venom inside her was messing with her powers and overtaxing her regeneration efforts. She got her answer as Widow leaned in and pressed her bill right up against one of her ears and whispered to her, “oh Razira, you know what happens when prey gets caught by a spider, You're gonna be my werewolf milkshake… And I'm gonna suck your dry!"

Razira's eyes shot wide with fear upon hearing this, only to grow even more as the spiderpus bite down and started to chomp and munch on her neck and shoulder, causing her to scream and cry out as she felt the bill bite down with force, and what felt like a painful tingling sensation radiating out from where she was being munched on. Widow shook the heroine in her bill, applying bite force pressure onto her neck and shoulder, then after several more chomps, she started to make a sucking motion, with the area she latched onto pulsing with a stronger more painful sensation, and flashing a pulsing purple and reddish glow with each suck.

Razira cried out more, she was shouting and even howling in agony, feeling both light headed and nauseous at the same time as she was being chewed on and having her energy and strength being literally sucked and drank out of her. She struggled more as much as she could but was helpless, just like the spider hybrid said, she was prey at the mercy of the predator; and the fear of being sucked dry and reduced to a husk was dominating her mind.

It was several minutes of feeding before Widow unlatched with a loud “Mwah" sound and licked her bill hungrily, as Razira went limp and breathed heavy, her neck and shoulder was glowing with a purple reddish bite mark the size of Widow's bill.

“Mhmmm Delicious! Who knew you werewolves were so tasty, and I thought that goodie two shoes Lionehart tasted divine; you on the other hand are like a strawberry shortcake…" The spiderpus bellowed out with a mocking devilish laugher; as Razira looked up weakly and saw that the burns on Widow's body were almost completely healed, likely from the energy she just sapped out of her.

“I think I'll have seconds…more, maybe thirds more!" Funnel Widow said as she harshly forced Razira back up and latched onto her other side of her neck shoulder with the same chomping and munching motions, causing the werewolf's screams of pain and agony to start up once again. “ARrghghh! LET ME GO! NO STOP! STtooopppaaap!" She shouted out, pleading for widow to stop this cruel feeding session as she was shaken about in place and then brutally sucked on for several more agonizing minutes.

She felt like her life was slipping away, her head spinning and glancing down; she could have sworn that the color of her fur patterns was becoming more dull looking as her vision would blur. Minutes later, Funnel Widow released her yet again with another loud “Mwah" sound, leaving the same reddish purple bite marks glowing on her as Razira collapsed limp in the webbing yet again. She could barely keep her eyes open as she watched the now fully restored spiderpus licking her bill from another successful feeding.

“Oh it's a shame I won't get to keep you as my little treat, your taste is just divine…But I'll ensure I get every last bite on you for the memories!" She taunted, as if ready to feed on her again, until the loud but muffled cries of a person echoed out from elsewhere in the complex, alerting the spider hybrid as she groaned. “Oh dear looks like someone's venom dose wore off…don't go away dear… not like you can anyway!" She chuckled before walking off to the source of the noise.

Razira was kinda thankful that the feeding had stopped, she didn't think she could take another one of those draining bites, but at the same time, she dreaded for the poor soul that Widow was likely gonna torture or worse. She needed to break free, but her powers were nowhere to be seen and she felt too weak to break free from the webbing itself. Then she started to feel something strange, the tingling around the bite marks was starting to grow less and less pronounced, as if her healing factor was kicking in again.

She then tried to jerk her arm, which had been broken earlier, and noticed it had completely healed up as well; plus she was beginning to feel less nauseous . “Is the venom finally wearing off?" she thought, as she tried to light her hands on fire, but saw they were still inactive; coming to the conclusion that her projecting powers had been turned off in order to focus solely on ridding her body of the venom compounds.

A loud blood curdling scream echoed out in the complex, likely one of the bound up victims being given another venom dose in order to render them unconscious again, making Razira's ears fold back; wishing she could have prevented that victim's agony. For now she needed to focus on breaking free from the web, as feeling and movement finally came back to her arms and legs, as she began to shift and try to rip herself free from the goop. “Come on Come on! let go!" She whispered to herself, knowing that the spiderpus woman could be back any minute.

Using her claws, she started to pluck and cut the webbing strain by strain from her arms, and was lucky to find that parts of the webbing itself was pretty old, Widow had gotten sloppy with this thinking she won, as she managed to free one of her hands, then a full arm and started going to work on the other. She was careful not to get stuck again as she cut her other arm loose and sliced at the webbing on her legs, which was abit thicker and newer, but able to still get free.

Then with one powerful and pained motion, she lunged forward and ripped the rest of her body free, would a loud thud on the floof, shaking off what webbing still remained stuck to her, she slowly got to her feet and rubbed her neck and shoulders as she staggered to a nearby pillar. She needed some breathing room, at least to catch her breath and let her body get the last of the venom out of her system and have these damm bite marks taken care of.

“She's gonna know I've gotten away, so I won't have much time" She thought out loud, herding Widow stomping her way back as she carefully moved in the shadows and as far away from the massive web nests as possible, one false move and she surely would be recaptured and be done for. She heard the stomping stop for a moment, then heard rushing footsteps as Widow hissed and got to the nest to see her prey had escaped.

“Looks like you're tougher than I thought little werewolf, no matter, you won't get far with that venom in you, and once I catch you, I'll twist you like a pretzel and finish you off for dessert!" She shouted out, stomping around as she started searching for Razira. Hiding behind another pillar, the heroine werewolf breathed heavy as tried to say out of sight, feeling more movement coming back to her body, wiping sweat off her forehead as she, and again trying to get her flames back up, she managed a small puff of flame, which was enough to tell her that the venom was gone, but her powers would need more time to recovery.

However that small puff was enough to alert the spiderpus, who caught a glimpse of the flames with one of her eyes, then unleashed a barrage of silk blobs from her abdomen right in the direction of it. “Found you!" Widow shouted, as Razira took cover and flattened herself against the pillar, hearing the splashing impact of the globs against it, and seeing other balls of silk go zipping past her and impacting a nearby wall, coating it in webbing.

“Ok that was close!" She said out loud, as she heard more hissing and stomping towards her. “I can't just keep dodging her all day, looks like I'll have to close in and brawl it out!" She thought to herself, then waiting for the right moment, she rushed out from behind the pillar and ran at the spiderpus in a zigzag pattern, narrowing dodging the monster lady's attention to ensnare her with web spray as she rushed forward and spear tackled her monster woman out of the darkness and into the well lit center of the complex.

Mounting and delivering several hard punches, Razira growled as her her fist connected with Widow's face and bill several times, only for her hand to be caught and the spiderpus managing to roll over and press her body down on the werewolf, causing her to gasp for air as she was smushed under the weight. Widow then mounted her and started laughing like crazy as she delivered several hard open palm face slaps to Razira's face, knocking her head back and forth and making both her cheeks red within seconds.

Resisting the urge to tear up or sob from the stinging pain, Razira managed to grab other of Widow's hands and wrestled with her on the ground, trying to force the spider hybrid off her, snarling right at her, and trying to get leverage by trying to wrap her legs around Widow's big body. The spiderpus had other heads as she pushed back with her body weight and managed to pin the werewolf, then pressing her chest right into Razira's muzzle, who reacted with instantly kicking and muffled protests from the unexpected breast press.

As she tried to struggle free, Widow raised her abdomen and briefly released the grip on one of Razira's hands, she spat a small glob of webbing into her own palm, before slapping and smushing her hand onto Razira's. She did the same with the other hand, spitting a glob and then smushing her hand onto Razira's other palm, sticking both her hands to Razira's as she pulled off the werewolf, who blushed red and gasped for air, only to be yanked up hand in hand with the spiderpus.

“Looks like we are bonding quite well don't you think?" Funnel Widow taunted, earning an annoyed groan and growl from Razira for the pun, as she tried to pull free, but finding the globs were now acting like strains of rubber bands, as they stretched out under tension. Then Widow grinned and pushed Razira backwards, causing the strains to stretch even more then snap back as she was yanked forward, sending her slamming into the spider hybrid's chubby form, her head wedged between the spiderpus's breasts while the rest of her body briefly compacted against the fat of Widow's torso and thighs.

Laughing loudly as Razira again moaned in pain, Widow repeated the yo-yo like display, pushing Razira back then yanking her forward and slamming her repeatedly into her body a least after a dozen times, earning pained yelps and howling whimpers as she was attempting to not only wear the heroine down, but likely injury her again so she couldn't escape.

When she tried to smash her against her body a seventh time, the heroine snarled in frustration, and used the momentum to her advantage, leaping on the rebound as she gave a vicious headbutt to Funnel Widow, causing her to stagger back. Jumping back she used the tension to launch herself again, ignoring the pain of the move she had just performed and did a double dropkick right to Widow's stomach, winding the spiderpus and breaking the strains as Widow was sent tumbling several meters into a concrete wall, which cracked on impact.

Razira landed on her butt and quickly ripped the webbing off her hands before clutching and rubbing her sore head and face. She was a bit dazed from the impacts, but knew she couldn't let up. Getting to her feet and digging deep for more strength, she rushed Widow before she could fully get up, slamming into her shoulder first and winding her again, before delivering rapid fire gut punches and knee strikes, then with a mighty howl, she gripped and judo tossed the spider monster woman cover her shoulders a good couple of meters, crashing onto concrete hard.

Widow flailed and convulsed on the ground, much like a spider in its death throes, with her legs and arms spazzing out and trying to curl up, and angry pained hissing coming from the monster woman. Razira approached with caution and shouted out “You're beaten, Funnel Widow, surrender and maybe they will let you eat bugs in prison" She quipped, walking over and in a fighting stance over the monster woman.

Widow hissed in reply and looked up at her, frowning and narrowing her eyes, clearly not happy with the joke. “I'm far from done with you dog1" She shouted back and shot out another large strain of silk, which appeared to be aimed at the werewolf, but Razira managed to dodge out of the way, only to realize the spiderpus was targeting the ceiling and launched herself upwards. Thinking she was trying to skitter away, Razira turned around to track, but instead found the spiderpus staying connected in place and swinging about like a pendulum.

Widow swung at her and kicked out, only for Razira to dodge rolled out of the way and get to her feet again. The spider hybrid came at her again, swiping wildly with anger, with Razira dodging again, growling as she leaped out and tried a roundhouse kick, but the spiderpus managed to not only dodge but whack her midair using her massive legs causing her to yelp and be knocked to her butt; then before she could recover, she came back around and knocked her prone with another kick yet again.

Growling as she got back to her feet, she saw the spiderpus continuing to swing around her, swiping her hands, some connecting and others being blocked by the werewolf as she defended. She managed to get in some hits on the penduluming spider hybrid of her own, managing to damage the already warped bodysuit that widow wore and even slash some nasty claw marks. However this seemed to only make the spiderpus more mad, as she ripped sone globs from the thick strain and started throwing them at Razira, some of them sticking to her and causing the werewolf to start trying to pull the goop off. However this left her open to even more goop being thrown, this time sticking her feet in place.

“Urrrggh enough with the sticky globs already!" Razira shouted in frustration as she tried to pull herself free, but was stuck in place. However this proved to be a distraction as Widow dropped down right behind her, suspended from the strain as she wrapped her arms and legs around Razira in a vice-like grip and started to constrict and squeeze her repeatedly in a painful pulsing manner.

Razira struggled and yelped as she was being compressed and the life being squeezed out of her, as the spiderpus laughed and taunted her. “I got you now you damm mutt! Gonna squeeze you until you beg for mercy!" She bellowed out with laughter, crushing more as she enjoyed Razira's suffering. The heroine continued to struggle and kick, but she was held off the ground, and close to tearing from the pain; she badly needed to get free.

She tried to set her hands on fire but they were still puffing flashes, not enough to make the spiderpus let go as she started to pull herself up slowly which continuing the squeezing; then Razira thought of something else, if she couldn't burn the spider, maybe she could freeze her instead. Putting faith in her abilities, she focused and gripped onto Widow's body, digging her claws in and unleashing a steady blast of icy old frost, which streamed across the Spider Hybrid's body.

The sudden cold started to freeze burn Widow and she let out a loud painful hiss, releasing and dropping Razira to the ground as the froze spread up her body and into the strains, frosting and freezing up to the ceiling before it snapped, sending the spiderpus crashing to the claw, as she flailed and hissed more in pain. By this time Razira was back on her feet barely, growling and wincing from being squeezed so tightly but slowly getting back into a stance.

Shivering and hissing, Widow got up as well, half her eyes were shut by the frost as she let out a loud hissing roar at Razira. “Screw giving you to the doctor! I"m going to suck you dry and give him your husk instead!" She shouted, her body covered in freeze burns as she aimed her abdomen at the werewolf and tried to blast her again, only for a hissing sound to come from her spinnerets, causing her to pause and look pale in the face.

Razira smirked at this while wincing and iced up her fists, “You focused so much on healing your wounds that you forgot to restock your webbing didn't you!" She quipped, which provoked Widow to scream out in anger and rush her. However Razira was more than ready, she ducked and dodged the swipes and strikes from Funnel Widow, throwing her own punches and kicks in return as she battered and pummeled the monster lady again and again; knocking her staggering across the complex floor.

Widow kept trying to continue but the assault was taxing on her, and the burns on her body had taken their toll, forcing her to lunge and try and bite Razira to steal some energy; only to be met with a powerful icy uppercut, followed by a point blank fire blast, which send the spider hybrid flying across the room and crashing against a wall. “Oh that was perfect timing…would have been embarrassing if my flames didn't come back in time" Razira thought out loud and stood there, sore bruised, bite marks on her body and still covered in some sticky webbing; as she looked at a still stirring Funnel Widow.

“Looks…like….I underestimate you….Know this Razira….You will be my prey one day, and you will never be able to escape my fangs!" Widow spoke in labored pained breaths, as she used the last of her strength to quickly skitter away in a limping fashion through a nearby sewer drain, just large enough for her to fit in. Razira rushed over but knew that the monster lady was long gone now…but in a way she was thankful the ordeal was over.

It would be at least two hours after the battle that the victims of Funnel Widow would be helped out of the cave by rescue workers, having been alerted by Razira; they arrived on scene and widened the entrance to the tunnel system. One by one they were helped out of the gap, and moved over to awaiting ambulances, while squads of Meta-SWAT searched the tunnel system for any signs of Funnel Widow or this mysterious Dr Genesis; finding nothing but Widow's destroyed phone, and several hidden cctv cameras, all which had self-destructed before they had arrived.

Razira meanwhile sat upon a nearby roof, enjoying the fresh air after being stuck underground fighting Widow for what felt like an eternity. She is thankful that she held out as long as she did, not only managing to push through with pure determination for herself, but for all those victims that she helped save. Despite her pain and aches, enduring the nightmarish torment was worth it in saving those lives.

As he looked out upon the skyline of Millenium city, she wondered about Widow's parting words to her, knowing that a future encounter with the monster woman would happen at some point; however she smiled, not matter how terrifying or scary the encounter was; she would be more than ready to face that. Even more so, if she ever met this so-called Dr genesis, she would make sure that he never again underestimate the wolf inside her, less he risked getting burnt!

The End
