The Accident
It was early in the morning when Max woke up "Damn, what time is it...?" He looked at the clock next to the bed and sighed quietly, "It's only 5:30am... well there is no point in going back to sleep..." Max sat up on the bed and rubbed the sleep out of his eyes, he took his bathrobe that was hanging next to the bed and made his way to the bathroom. He stepped into the shower and turned on the hot water. He stood there for a while just thinking of his handsome mate that was sleeping in the bedroom. When he was finished he turned the shower of and stepped out of the shower, he looked in the mirror and saw his own reflection and let out a deep sigh.
Mean while in the bedroom, Thomas was still sleeping hard. Max came back into the bedroom and saw Tom just laying there still asleep. He sighed softly looking at Thomas "So cute." he said to himself.
"I wonder if I should wake him up, but he's so cute when he sleeps." He says giggling softly as he walked over to his wardrobe, he reached in and took out some clean clothes and put them on the bed gently. He slowly dropped his towel; he had around him standing there naked. He turned to look at Thomas lying on the bed fully naked because Thomas had kicked the blanket away in his sleep as usual. "Maybe I have time for some fun." He says looking at the clock. "No." Max say to himself a bit disappointed because he have to go to work and can't stay home and cuddle with his boyfriend.
"God you're so cute." he whispered to himself as he leaned over Thomas and gently kissed him on the cheek. Thomas slowly woke up from the kiss and gazed into Max eyes. "Hi sexy" he said as he dragged Max on top of him hugging him tightly, he give him a passionate kiss. "Hey Max... do you want to have some fun?" Thomas asked his still naked boyfriend grabbing his bum softly. "Oh I would love to, but I have to go to work." He licked Thomas' neck playfully. Thomas moans and squirmed under him. "Yeah, I know." A bit disappointed. "I'm sorry Thomas, I really want to stay here with you naked in bed, but I can't. We need the money." He kissed him deeply and ran his paw over Thomas' hard member softly. "Can you wait for me?" he asked Thomas. Thomas yawned and moaned softly at the same time. "Yeah I can." He said and smiled warmly. Max kisses him on the cheek "I'll make you some breakfast before I leave if you want?" "Yeah I would like that."
Max got up and put on his clothes. He got ready to leave for work as Thomas put on a pair of white boxers with red hearts on and walks down stairs. He took a seat at the kitchen table and turned on the TV they had on the kitchen counter. As they were eating their breakfast Max asked Thomas "What are you going to do today hunny?"
"Hmm... I don't know; sit home all day and maybe go to the mall or something else I don't know yet."
"Ok, I'm sorry hun that I have to leave but I need to"
Thomas flattened his ears against his head, waging his tail slowly. "Yeah I know, but I still wish you could stay here and cuddle with me."
"Come here kitten" Max hugged and gave his boyfriend a passionate kiss. "Let me make this up to you, its Friday so what do you say to a romantic dinner, maybe a movie and some fun after?"
"Yeah that sounds good, I will see you after work then."
"Yes, but I have to go to the store first and then I'll come home and make you the best dinner you ever had, well I have to go now but I'll see you tonight and you know you can call me if you're bored, ok?"
"Yeah, I will, now off you go so you don't be late for work."
"Bye Hun" Max said as he leaned in to give him a kiss on the cheek.
"Bye my sexy wolf"
Thomas stood in the window watching as Max got into the car and drove away. He sighed deeply "Now what am I going to do today..."
The day for Thomas was very slow and lame; he didn't do much at all. Just sat in the sofa and zapped through the TV channels.
Thomas sighed as he placed the remote control on the table in front of him and watched the clock "Its 7pm maybe I should call Max and see if he is on his way home."
He took out his cell phone from his pocket and looked up Max's number "There we go" he called the number on the display and put the phone against his ear and waited for Max to answer.
"Hello?"
"Hi Max"
"Hi hun, how are you?"
"I'm fine, and you?"
"I'm good, what are you up to hunny?"
"Nothing at all... I'm bored out of my mind. When are you coming home?"
"I'm on the way home from the store now so I'll be there in 20 minutes"
"Ok. I'll see you then, bye"
"Bye" he said and hung up the phone.
Just when Max ended the call he was going through a four way crossing and a speeding car from the right was running a red light. Max saw it too late and the car smashed in to the side of his car making Max smash his head on the window.
"T-Thomas..." Max weakly said and blacked out.
Max slowly opened his eyes but couldn't see anything. Everything was blurry; he could hear some strange sounds and tried again to look around but couldn't see. Suddenly he felt something really painful. It felt like someone had stabbed him with a knife. He tried to move but couldn't.
"Hello can you hear me? Sir?" said one of the paramedics that had arrived to the accident scene but didn't get a response.
"What is his name?"
One of the ambulance drivers took his wallet from his pocket and took out his driver's license.
"It's Max, Max Wolfen."
"Hey Max can you hear me?"
"...T...Thomas..."
"Max can you hear me? You have been in a car accident and you lost a lot of blood, you have to try to stay awake. Can you do that for me?"
"...T...Tom..."
"Damn we are losing him!"
They arrived at the hospital but Max was in very bad shape and no one knew if he would make it. After 4 and a half hour of surgery he was stable but was in a coma.
Meanwhile back at the house Thomas started to get worried because Max was late very late.
"This is not like him, where the hell is he" Thomas looked out through the window to see if he could see him. He pulled his phone from his pocket and called him.
"Hello?"
"Hello, who is this?"
"My name is Eric and I'm with the police."
"The Police?" he almost screamed and was getting really worried.
"Do you know a man named Max Wolfen?"
"Yes, he's my boyfriend." Getting even more worried.
"You may want to sit down, it's not easy to say this but Max is in the hospital, he is in a coma"
"A Coma!? What!?"
"He was in a car accident, a speeding car that ran a red light"
"He is in the hospital down town"
"I'll be there in 5 minutes." With that said he ran to his car and drove off to the hospital.
