A Day With Mommy
Hey, guys, this is a story I did for Toni Serinn. She has been like a mom to me, so I did this story for her and I thought would post it. I know this is not the type of story that I would normally write, but, hell, I love her, and, if this makes her happy, then I'm happy. I hope you all enjoy it. I also just re-typed this to do some spelling and grammer fixes so enjoy.

It was one of those lazy Saturdays when all you want to do is just lay back and let it go as you relax. Well, it was for everyone but Toni. She was buzzing around the house cleaning it. She would be relaxing with her mate but sadly she was away on a work trip this weekend.
"Well, that is the entire bathroom and the kitchen cleaned, which just leaves the living room and the bed-rooms." Toni said with a sigh. She was missing her mate and wishing she was here so that they could just relax with each other all day.
Toni walked out of the kitchen to clean the living room. She paused at the doorway. She leaned against it and smiled. Sitting there on the ground was her cub, KG. He was playing with some toy cars and not noticing her watching him. She just smiled and watched him for a little more.
KG was not like Toni. Toni was a Snow Klynx (part snow leopard, kitty, and Lynx), she had a white pelt with some gray around her arms and legs and red spots on her back and tips of her two tails that where 4 feet long. Her ears were also red tipped. She also had bright red hair.
KG was a black bear with purple horizontal stripes down his back and arms. He also had purple short spiky hair.
Toni and her mate, Selphi, who was a bunny, had found him on their doorstep on night. They had decided that, since they cannot have cubs they decided to keep him.
Toni smiled. She then walked over to her cub and sat behind him. She pulled him onto her lap and watched him play while gently nuzzling the back of his head.
"What are you doing, mommy?" KG asked gigging as he kept trying to play with his toy.
Toni smiled and watched him keep playing.
"Just watching you play, honey."
KG giggled and kept playing with his toy cars.
"Okay, mommy"
Toni smiled and watched her son play with his toy cars. She kissed the top of his head.
"So, honey, Momma Selphi is gone for the weekend. It's just you and me."
KG looked up and smiled. He giggled and shouted, "Yaaaaa, I get to spend time with mommy!"
KG paused and looked a little sad.
"But I'm going to miss Momma Selphi too."
Toni just kissed the top of his head.
"I know, sweetie, but she will be back soon, and she misses you too"
Toni smiled down at her cub.
"So let's cheer up, okay? And I was thinking if you are a good boy, we could go to the park today."
KG's eyes got big. He shot up and turned to face her.
"The park, mommy?! Oh, can we go, please? Please, please, please!"
Toni just giggled and smiled.
"Yes, honey, we can, but you have to pick up all your toys and get ready. Okay?"
KG nodded and quickly grabbed his toy cars. He ran off to his room with them as fast as his little legs could take him.
Toni laughed softly and got up to get ready herself. She loved to go to the park with him. It was always fun, and they got to spend time together. She went to her room and dressed in some better clothing. She thought it would not be a good idea to wear her PJ's to the park. She put on a pair of blue jeans and a red shirt.
Toni also got a bag ready for their little trip. After she got some toys and their launch packed away, she went to the front and saw her little KG trying to tie his shoes. She giggled. It was always the cutest thing to see him try, but she always ended up tying them for him.
"C'mon, shoes. Tie!" a frustrated KG yelled at his shoelaces. They were a tangled mess. His outburst only made Toni laugh and move to help him.
Toni untangled the shoelaces and told KG, "Remember, honey, it's the bunny goes around the tree though the hole and pull tight."
With a flourish, Toni finished tying his shoes for KG. She gave him a hug and a kiss on the head.
"Ready to go, honey?"
KG nodded and opened the door for them. He looked up to her with a smile. She smiled back and picked him up. She put him on her shoulders. Together they walked the park.
"Wow, mommy! I'm up so high!" KG giggled as they walk to the park. She giggled and kept walking with him on her shoulders.
"Yup, honey, you are. So are you ready to spend a whole day with your mommy?" she asked with a smile.
"Yes, mommy, I am. It's going to be so much fun!" he replied with a big smile.
They lived about ten minutes away from the park, so it did not take them long to get there. When they got there Toni let KG down to play on the playground with the other little cubs there. Toni found a nice little bench to sit down and watch her son play.
Toni giggled as she watched KG play with a little fox girl and her friends. She thought, Oh he's going to be a real ladies man when he gets older!
She shook her head and watched him play some more.
An hour went by, and the little fox girl and her friends had left. It was just KG playing now, but it did not bother him. He was still playing and having a grand time. She looked around at the trees and the nearby lake.
Toni suddenly heard a loud thud. KG started to cry. Her head shot over to see what happened. She saw KG on the ground holding his elbow and crying. Toni quickly ran over to her wounded cub and scooped him up in her arms.
"KG! KG, what's wrong? What happened?!" she asked quickly in a concerned voice.
"I..I..I w..w...was r..r...running an..and I f..fell" he get out around sobs. Tears were streaming down his cheeks.
"It's okay, sweetie! It's okay. Mommy's here."
Toni gently rocked him until he calmed down. She smiled at him sweetly and said, "Now let's take a look, honey, and see what the damage is, okay?"
KG nodded and lifted up his left arm to show her his elbow. There was a little scrape with some blood coming out. She smiled to him and carried him over to the bench. From her bag she dug out a little first aid kit and pulled out some Neosporin and a band aid that did not stick to fur so now owies when it comes off. She dressed his wound and gave it a little kiss.
"There all better, sweetie," Toni said with a kiss on his forehead.
KG snuffled and smiled.
"Thank you, mommy. It feels better now."
The cub opened his arms and gave her a big bear hug. She smiled and hugged him back. She held him close to her. She was relieved that there was no real damage to her little boy.
Toni looked down at her watch and saw that it was about one PM. She smiled at her boy and asked him, "Do you want to get some lunch, honey?"
KG nodded his head snuggled close to her. She smiled and picked him up. She grabbed her bag, and together they walked over to the lake. She spotted a tree close to the lake. They sat down in the shade.
Toni pulled KG onto her lap. She took a sandwich from her bag and handed it to him. She took another for herself form the bag.
Toni smiled and said, "Eat up, honey. Mommy made you your favorite!"
Toni took a bite from her own sandwich and started chewing.
"Really!?" he asked happily and bit into his own sandwich. He smiled and said, "Yaaaaa! PB&J! You're the best, mommy!"
KG happily kept eating. He smiled the whole time he was eating.
Toni smiled back and ate her PP&J sandwich as well. The meal passed in silence in a few minutes. Neither wanted to stop eating their lunch to talk. Besides, they had all day to talk afterwards.
"Okay, honey, all done?" Toni asked while crumbling her wrapping up and putting it back into the bag.
KG nodded and handed her his wrapping. He snuggled down into her lap and said while smiling at her, "That was really good, mommy. Thank you!"
Toni smiled back and hugged him.
"You're welcome, honey, and you don't have to thank me. It's my job"
Toni dug into her bag and pulled out a kite. She held it above him and asked. "You want to play with mommy?"
KG's eyes got big and he smiled just as big. He loved kites more than almost any other type of toy. He jumped up for it and giggled.
"Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Can we, mommy?! Can we!?"
Toni giggled and handed him the kite . She watched him run off with it, trying to get it to fly. After a few failed attempts, he got it up in the air and walked back to his mommy. He sat in her lap holding onto the handle of the kite to keep flying it. They sat like that for some time, him flying the kite and sitting happily on his mommy's lap. She snuggling him close and saying how pretty it is.
After about an hour, the winds died down, and it started to get chilly. They packed up, and she put him back on her shoulders. They walked back home.
"So, did you have fun today honey?" Toni asked The young cub giggled and looked down at his Mom.
"Yup, momma! I did! It was lots of fun. I liked playing with the kite the most. Oh, and playing with that fox girl Hannah!"
Toni just laughed and shook her head at the last comment. She kept walking home. When they got there, Toni let KG down and told him to get ready for his nap. He nodded and ran off to go get ready.
She unpacked and went into the living room to find KG sitting on the sofa waiting for her.
"Mommy, will you take a nap with me?" he asks cutely and a little sleepily.
Toni smiled and picked him up. She lay down and pulled him to her chest. She kissed his head and said, "Okay, honey. Nap time now."
KG nodded and snuggled up against his momma. He placed his head to her chest and yawned softly. He fell asleep, quickly followed by his momma.
The hours went by uninterrupted as Toni and KG slept. Toni woke up first and looked at the clock on the wall. It was about five PM. She looked and saw her little boy sleeping soundly on her chest, snoring lightly. She smiled and gently stroked the back of his head.
Toni said softly, "Sweetie. Sweetie you need to wake up. Nap time is over."
KG groaned a little and stretched out his arms and legs as he slowly woke up. He fully awoke finally and smiled at his mommy.
"Okay, mommy. I'm up."
KG yawned and stretched again. She smiled again and kept stroking his head. She gave him a hug and held him tight to her.
"Okay, honey, are you hungry?" she asked him as she kept him close to her.
KG nodded and cuddled into her. He was still a little sleepy.
"Yes, mommy, I am. Is it dinnertime?"
Toni nodded and picked him up. She brought him into the kitchen with her and sat him in a chair before she started dinner. Fifteen minutes later she came to the table with two plates of chicken nuggets and some fries. She smiled and put a plate down in front of him and one at her seat beside him. She warmly smiled at him and said, "Ok sweetie eat up"
Toni giggled when KG quickly and hungrily began to eat his food. Still smiling she starts to eat hers as well. The next few minutes went by in silence as the two were too occupied with eating to talk.
"All done, mommy!" KG said holding up his plate to show her.
"Very good, honey!" Toni replied, she took both plates to the sink and rinsed them off. She left them in the sink to do later.
"Ok, sweetie, what do you want to do now?" she asked while walking back over to the table. She picked him up and sat down in his chair. She put him onto her lap and nuzzled the top of his head.
"Hmmmmmm, can we watch a movie together, mommy?" he asked. He giggled as she nuzzled his head.
"Sure we can honey."
Toni picked him up and walked into the living room with him. She took a seat on the sofa. She lay down with him on top of her again and turned on the TV with the remote.
"Ok, honey. Well, the Great Mouse Detective is in the DVD player right now. Do you want to watch that?" she asked while petting his head.
KG smiled really big and nodded quickly.
"Oh, can we, mommy? Please?"
Toni giggled and turned the DVD player on. They both snuggled into each other and watched the movie. Two hours passed before the credits start to roll,
Toni looked down to see a half sleeping KG on her chest. She smiled at him and said "I think it's bedtime for a certain little one."
KG looks up a little scared.
"Mommy, can I sleep with you? The bad bat guy in the movie scares me, so can I sleep with you, please?" KG asked in a pleading voice.
Toni looked at him with a warm smile.
"Of course you can, honey, and momma will make sure that no bad things get you. Okay?"
Toni nuzzled the top of his head until KG calmed down.
KG looked up and asked in a sleep tone "Then can we go to sleep, mommy? I'm really tired."
KG put his head on her chest and yawned.
Toni smiled and picked him up. She turned off the TV and DVD player, and they headed off to bed. But first she stopped by KGs room and grabs some of his Pj's and headed off to her room. She walked into the bedroom and got her Pj's and got changed and then helped KG. She then walked over to the double king size bed that she and her mate loved so much. She turned on the table lamp next to the bed and crawled into it. She lay on her back and pulled little KG onto her chest and snuggled him close to her.
"Okay, honey, do you want me to read you a story?" she asked him as she petted over him softly as she held him close.
KG nodded and snuggled against his mother. He yawned and said sleepily, "Yes, mommy."
KG yawned again and closed his eyes.
Toni smileed and grabbed Go Dog Go. She opened it and started to read to him. She wrapped her tails around him and kept him close as she read to him. She finished reading the book and looked down to see her little cub sound asleep on her chest, snoring lightly with his paws wrapped around one of her tails.
Toni softly said as she stroked the back of his head, "I love you, sweetie, you hold a very special place in my heart, and I will love your forever and ever."
Toni reached over and turned off the lamp. She burrowed into the covers with her little boy. She fell to sleep with a smile knowing that tomorrow was Sunday and that they had another whole day to spend together.
Before she fell asleep like her son, Toni whispered again. "Forever and ever."
