Kyle woke up, still dressed, to the smell of bacon. Kyle grabbed a towel from the rack and a change of clothes as he went to the shower but stopped when he found a note taped on the door telling him to come downstairs in nothing but a towel. Kyle shrugged as he went to the shower. After his shower hid did as instructed and came down stairs in nothing but a towel. Kyle saw Jackie cooking in nothing but a bikini, then an idea sprang into Kyle's head. He snuck behind Jackie and when she wasn't doing anything dangerous he wrapped his arms around her midsection startling her.
"Hello beautiful." Kyle greeted her
"Hello handsome." Jackie greeted him
"So what's for breakfast? Bacon or something more, 'southern'?" he asked as he reached a hand to her pussy.
Jackie held up a red hot spatula "Don't even think about it." Jackie threatened
Kyle held up his hands "Ok, ok. No need to beat the shit out of me with a hot as hell spatula.
"Ok, let's eat, then lets go to the pool." Jackie said
"Why did you have me wear a towel if we are going to the pool?"
"Just wanted to see if you would do it."
"You are such a bitch" he said playfully
"Let's eat." She said as she held up two plates full of food
After they ate Kyle put on some trunks and followed Jackie downstairs and outside to the pool. They both spent awhile in the pool sometimes splashing the other. After awhile Kyle just lay on his towel basking in the sun with his eyes closed. Kyle was having a nice dream when he was awoken due to someone standing over him. Kyle opened his eyes to see a leopardess standing almost on top of him.
"May I help you?" Kyle asked sitting up
"ohh I'm sorry.: she apologized "I'm detective nemunaitis."
Kyle almost screamed out loud when he realized that the leopardess was the one that was chasing him before he came here, but instead of screaming he said "uhh... hello detective."
"Hi, nice place this is." She said
"I guess, but what brings one such as yourself here? Vacation?" Kyle guessed
nemunaitis looked both ways "actually I'm on a lead about the flame demon. We have gotten a tip that he is here." She whispered
Kyle sat there aghast at what he just heard. "Who gave you the tip?"
"Dirge of the infamy gang. Don't tell anyone about why I'm here or bout the tip, ok?"
"Oh sure, no problem." Kurt was really shock to hear that Dirge betrayed him. "you sure it's dirge?"
"Yes because we met in person."
Jackie walked up to Kyle "who is this?" Jackie asked
"I'm detective nemunaitis." Nemunaitis introduced
"Why are you here?" Jackie asked
"Vacation. I was thinking about taking this guy here and having him ride me like a stallion. Nemunsitis said as she patted Kyle's head.
"You can't!" Jackie said quickly
"Why? Is he your boyfriend?" she guessed
"yes." Jackie blushed "let's go." She added while dragging Kyle towards the penthouse. Halfway there Kyle got on his feet and followed her to the penthouse.
"That bitch! Who does she think she is, huh?" Jackie said whilst pacing in the living room.
Kyle was going to say something but his phone began to ring. "hello?"
"Give the phone to Jackie." Dirge ordered
"ok." Kyle said as he handed the phone to Jackie
"Hello?" was all she said for three minutes before "ok sir." She said at the end. "he needs me there." She said giving the phone to Kyle.
"Ok let's get going."
"No. no us, only I."
"So I'm to stay here while you go into a dangerous situation?"
"Looks that way."
"(Sigh) ok. Until we meet again." Kyle said as he passed her to start helping her pack. Unbeknownst to Kyle as he passed her a single tear went down her cheek as she whispered "so long Kyle. Please forgive me."
The rest of the day passed quickly and uneventfully as Jackie waited for her plane. Kyle and Jackie said their final goodbyes as Jackie boarded her plane. Kyle went back to the penthouse to get some sleep.

Kyle started coughing, causing him to wake up. Kyle saw that the room was full of smoke. He leapt out of bed and ran for the door, but when he grabbed the knob it burnt his hand. He grabbed a towel and used it to open the door, but when the door opened he saw that the whole penthouse was aflame. Kyle put on his shoes and pants as he readied himself to run into hell's inferno. He made a mad dash for the fire escape, which upon arriving found out that something was blocking it from the other side, so he made another mad dash for the elevator. When he got to the elevator door he forced it open and slid down the cable onto the elevator below. The elevator was on the sixth floor so he sent it to the first floor, but near the third floor the elevator plunged down the shaft and hit the bottom. Kyle got up and forced the door open and tried to find a way from the basement, which has yet to be thrown into Hell's inferno. He found a way to the floor above, which he took. When he walked into the room he was once again thrust into hell.
"FREEZE!" yelled a voice
Kyle turned to see nemunaitis pointing a gun at him. "we have to get out of here. Do you know where the exit is?" Kyle asked
"You're right we do, but first--" She pulled out some handcuffs "you're under arrest, flame demon."
"How do you know who I am?"
"Dirge told me after Jackie left the island."
"So dirge is a traitorous bastard."
"Either way you're under arrest. Put your hands on your head and get down on the ground."
"Leave now. It's either die in jail or die here, and I would rather die here."
"I don't care. Now get down on the ground." She said as some boards above kyle started creaking.
"no." Kyle said simply
"Get down on the--" she started ordering but was cut off when the ceiling collapsed between them.
"Just perfect." Kyle sighed "it might please you to know that Dirge ordered me to kill all those people."
"Wait. You're with the infamy gang?" she asked
"Yes I am and the only person who was an actual target was MR. Owens."
"What about his kid?"
"I killed his son because I had no other choice at the time, but his daughters are alive and safe."
"Hmm, it adds up but the daughters for some reason would like to see you again."
"I'm afraid I'll have to ask you to say goodbye to them for me."
"What are you getting at?"
"What I'm getting at is: I am to die here." Just as to prove his point the boards above Kyle groaned
"But why?"
"I've been betrayed by dirge and Jackie so I would rather die in a more comfortable place and this is as comfy as it's going to get." -Besides I have a hot demoness on the other side.- he thought
"Am I really hot to you?" wartrack asked
Kyle almost visibly jumped -Jesus fucking Christ! Scare me a little more why don't you, and as for your question: yes you are hot but I'm still somewhat pissed at you.-
"Thank you but if you die I can't be with you."
- (sigh) well then I should apologize for when I yelled at you before so, I'm sorry. Goodbye. - Kyle looked up and as if on cue the floor collapsed.
Nemunaitis could only watch as Kyle was crushed under the burning rubble. After sighing she proceeded to the exit.
"Anyone else on there?" asked a police officer
"Did you find Kyle?" Jackie interrupted
"You're supposed to be going home." Nemunaitis said to Jackie
"I know, but I wanted to see him once more. Now, did you find him?"
"I did but..."
Jackie gasped, covered her mouth and started crying. She fell onto her knees and cried her heart out. Knowing their relationship and thinking what she would do if she lost her husband, nemunaitis knelt down full of sympathy and cradled Jackie. They stayed like that for about half an hour whilst nemunaitis whispered things like; "It's ok. Quiet now." Etc and acted well... motherly. After Jackie calmed down she bought a ticket for the next plane headed home.

Wartrack just sat in her room as Kyle was crushed under the burning rubble. -No it can't be- she thought as she started crying.
"Are you ok?" asked a female demon who looked a lot like wartrack
"No" wartrack cried
"What happened?" asked the demoness as she sat beside wartrack
"Kyle died." Wartrack cried as she hugged the demoness
"How did he die?" she asked
"He was crushed under debris in a burning hotel." Wartrack cried
"Tell me what happened."
"What's the use mom? We can't bring him back."
"Just tell me what happened."
Wartrack proceeded to tell her mother what happened to Kyle woke in the fire.
"If you're pissed at him, why are you crying about his death and why were you searching for him?" wartrack's mother
"Some things anger can't get rid of, and I wasn't searching for him. I felt uneasy and I found him without even trying."
"Now calm down. I have to speak with your father." Said her mother, as she left the room. She went to the back yard "where wartrack's brother, nightmare, was fighting their father with dull metal blades. "Honey I need to talk to you." She said over the metal clangs.
"Ok. You can take a break." Feuer lancer said causing wartrack's brother, nightmare, to fall on the ground panting. "What do you want?"
"It's about wartrack. She is crying about Kyle, and what's worse is that she already connected her consciousness to his without knowing it."
"What happened?"
She explained what happened to Kyle, about the betrayal and the burning hotel.
He thought for a few minutes before he sighed. "Fuck. No matter how much I think about it, it always comes back to the same thing."
"What? She asked
"I need to ask a favor from the elders."
"No! You can't be serious!"
"I am."
"It's been nearly twenty-thousand years since that happened."
"I know, but it's the only thing I can come up with."
"(Sigh) ok, just try not to piss them off ok?"
"Don't worry, but don't tell wartrack what I'm doing."
"Why?"
"Just in case it doesn't work, I don't want to build up her hopes, only for them to come crashing down."
"Good point. But what if it doesn't work?" she asked as she hung her head
He lifted her head by the chin and kissed her. "Like I said; don't worry. Now I'll be back soon." He said as he left.
"Where is dad going?" nightmare asked
"Too see an old friend." His mother lied
