Misfortune Telling
A black furred lupursyn or wolf-bear, with red hair and tiger stripes to match lounges in a suit that doubles as armor made of shark skin with an elaborate patch covering his left eye, sits in a dockside tavern with rooms to let for visiting sailors and wenches to serve a male's needs if that should be necessary for the right amount of coin. On the table before him is a tankard of ale and a plate of sausages, pickles and sauerkraut with a generous side of spiced potato wedges that he spears with the strange trident like weapon affixed to he right hand. It features a wide based triangular shaped blade with sickles on the side giving the lupursyn a veritable wealth of options in combat, something he is completely uninterested in at the moment.
Everyone in the Sea Nymph's Beer Garden, a fancy name for a place such as this with a lustful mermaid hoisting a tankard of something frothy on the sign of the establishment, knows the pirate as Kodyax, a Wave Warden among other things and few pay him more than a passing glance. None wish to raise his ire, even on a bad day when some of the patrons are deep in their cups, even on a bad day as the lupursyn generally does nothing to deserve such treatment and has even helped the proprietor, the girls serving the patrons and the patrons on more than one occasion so everyone treats him as a member of the watch off duty than anything else. Unfortunately while Kody is well into the kind of bliss one gets from having good booze and good food and the leisure time to enjoy them both, trouble walks in.
In this particular instance, trouble comes in the form of a white furred mink of great beauty, blonde hair, blue eyes and a reputation as dark as her form is fair. Her name is Ishtar and like the goddess she is named after she is as passionate as a raging berserker caught in the full force of his fury although her passion is far more carnal than carnage, which can be part and parcel of the problem. Ishtar is well known as a roving fortune teller and whore priest of an oraclular nature, never charging her clients anything more than a meal or a bed for the night shared with them, for it is also known that the oracle named Ishtar has a vow of poverty that she maintains as religiously as her other duties.
The old sea turtle who runs the joint sighs and makes sure he has some chicken fingers and fries made up and sent to whatever table Ishtar picks to patronize. Ishtar makes almost a bee line for Kodyax, giving him a smile before sliding under his table. Kodyax himself knows better than to interrupt Ishtar when she goes to have a drink at his faucet so to speak.
Kodyax smirks as Ishtar undoes his pants and just forks over the money for the mink's meal as he casually eats his own repast. Ishtar has entertained Kodyax before and it's mainly because she knows he'll treat her well that she keeps coming back for more. She gets him up and hard quickly and easily as she wants to start out with a salty milkshake as she massages his scrotum as she services him.
He gets an expectant look from the proprietor and gives the turtle a shrug of his shoulders. The mink can be twitchy about how far she'll go and the lupursyn knows this. It's only when deadly trouble comes in that he is forced to move.
Fortunately for everyone at tavern what Kodyax considers deadly trouble is nowhere to be found today. Long nosed goblins walk by the establishment and leer inside but Kodyax gives them a look and raises his trident hand menacingly for them to run of like scared rabbits. The rest of the patrons and staff of the place nervously laugh as they know that the only reason those shark goblins decided to harass someone else is because Kody scared them off.
Shark goblins are on Kody's perennial shit list due to the fact that they harass rob and murder just because they can; turning into sharks and swimming away to avoid the consequences of their actions. Kodyax is not about to go so far as genocide but any shark goblin that tries something with him is very likely to get stabbed. The one thing about having a weird trident in place of your right hand is that you're never without a weapon.
Ishtar drinks all of Kody's cum before sitting at the table proper for a meal; however, she keeps one foot straying into Kody's groin at odd intervals. Kodyax smirks and just enjoys his own repast as the mink is doing her best to keep him hard. Once their meal is finished, Ishtar lays on the table with her groin facing Kodyax and asks him to fuck her so she can do a reading from how his semen splashes on her inner walls.
Common decency, let alone proper decency, is not exactly something one finds at an establishment such as this. The fact that a crowd gathers around Kody's table goes without saying as the lupursyn complies with the mink's request and sticks his soft sword into her awaiting sheath. Both furs ignore the audience around them as they play with each other's bodies with Ishtar massaging Kody's balls and Kody fondling Ishy's tits.
Unfortunately when Kodyax climaxes inside of Ishtar the Oracle gets a vision.
"The Lord of Sharks and Squids is perturbed at the Wave Warden who has been thwarting his whims as of late. There shall come a reckoning in blood and tears for the Kraken Master is coming. Woe betide those who stand in his way!"
Kodyax just crosses his arms and shakes his head at the dire prophecy being issued as he has heard it numerous times before. He is not the only member of the Wave Warden organization opposed to the chaotic and nebulous entity ascribed, only one of the more active members. Everyone in the establishment looks to him as if to ask "What do you plan to do?" even if no one in the gathered has the courage to vocalize the inquiry.
Ishtar herself is concerned about the vision she just uttered and clings to Kodyax somewhat desperately. Garrison, the turtle proprietor of the place gives Kodyax a key to a suite upstairs, the same one he usually rents when he is spending a week or more in the area so as to make plans and receive reports from other Wave Wardens, not to mention orders from those higher up in the organization than himself. For her part, Ishtar is non-verbally offering to be the ranger's sex slave until he moves on, and offer, he is most happy to accept.
Garibaldi, a raucous frog entertainer and associate of the Wave Wardens as he keeps them well informed about what he sees in his travels, hops up from the lower docks to the Sea Nymph's Beer Garden humming to himself just a few minutes after Kodyax had gone upstairs to settle in. The tropical skinned frog sees the dark atmosphere and decides to try and lightened it up with a song and dance number for maximum silliness. In spite of themselves the levity takes the edge off the apprehension although Garrison still walks over personally with a beer to talk to his smaller friend.
"Many thanks for the levity, my friend," Garrison says evenly. "After Ishtar's dark prophecy we needed that desperately."
"And where is mad madam mink?" Garibaldi asks with a smirk. "It was a rough trip, or has she attached herself to someone for a bit."
"Aye, Wave Warden Kodyax is upstairs with her now," Garrison reports. "I know you sometimes pass on tidbits to the Wardens..."
"When he's ready, I would like to speak to him," Garibaldi says in all seriousness. "As much as I hate bad news, especially when it falls to me to bear it, what I have found out needs to be given to the right people." A thought just occurs to the frog. "You said Kodyax was upstairs?" Garrison nods in response. "He would be someone that can handle the trouble I've seen coming this way."
"Don't tell me the Shark Goblins have got some grand plan in their degenerate noggins again?" Garrison says with an exasperated sigh.
"Unfortunately," Garibaldi admits, "You just guessed the gist of it. Them and the Ogre Sharks have been riled up lately. I fear they may go on the warpath soon."
"Spot me on something, Garibaldi," Garrison prompts.
"I will if I can," Garibaldi accedes, "What's on your mind?"
"Both Shark Goblins and Ogre Sharks worship the Lord of Sharks and Squids don't they?" Garrison asks.
"Absolutely!" Garibaldi shouts to confirm Garrison's fears. "Did Ishtar mention that Demon God or something?"
"Yeah," Garrison admits. "She said he was pissed at the Wave Wardens for foiling his schemes in the mortal realm."
"So what else is new?" Garibaldi states with some annoyance. "Kody's been more active in spoiling his schemes but most of the guild does its best to make sure that bastard doesn't get his way."
"Which we're continually thankful for, believe me," Garrison states with a firm nod.
"Why do you think I gladly report to them regularly?" Garibaldi says proudly. "I may not be a member but I respect the work they do. And if what news I share with them helps keep us all a little safer, I'm glad to do my part."
"Garibaldi!" Kodyax says as he comes back down for a moment. "What brings you this way?"
"Trouble I'm afraid," Garibaldi says with a sigh. "the sea trolls, aquatic goblin tribes are up to something. As far as I know they're still in the planning stages but they're gearing up for the raiding season big time."
"Not good," Kodyax accedes, "Was there a spike in the birth rate I wasn't aware of?"
"More like a new ritual was discovered to turn their land based brethren in to versions of themselves," Garibaldi reports. "Leviathan is getting more creative it would seem."
Just then a siren sounds.
"Tsunami warning!" Garrison yells. "And tomorrow I'm due for to pay to have the wards renewed! Gods of Light and Darkness, PLEASE, make sure my place is not washed away!"
A fifty foot wall of water comes crashing into the docks and momentarily swelling the briny depths beneath the docks. The Sea Nymph's Beer Garden is underwater for the better part of a day as giant humanoid sharks prowl around outside. Kodyax shows his grafted weapon to a few of them as he prays to Morrigan Undine and her consort, Taranos the Storm Lord, the deities he serves personally as a ranger and a Wave Warden.
The stranger trident graft twinkles in its own light as a sign of his favored with the gods of nature who watch over sailors and pirates alike. Whether he is aware of it or not, he has been designated their mortal champion as tentacle fish shapes lurk in the distance but dare not get closer as they sense his presence and are afraid. Kodyax glares at them but can do little else for to battle the monsters outside he would have to flood the inn and this is something he refuses to do.
It's a difficult choice he has to make and one he is not going to make lightly as his duties as a Wave Warden are both clear and conflicting. He has sworn an oath to defend the innocent from the worst deprivations of the evils dwelling in the deep, and part of that includes hunting the monsters down and killing them. Kodyax prepares a full report on the situation for the higher ups on what he is choosing to do and why he is choosing to stay inside and keep the people here from drowning rather than going out to kill the things out there that he has sworn to destroy when they get bad enough to unduly threaten life and liberty.
While Kodyax is preparing his report, one of the abhorrynths is up to some mischief to take advantage of the distraction and molest Ishtar. Through the use of dark eldritch power it creates a series of portals for its tentacles to slip into the suite that Kodyax has rented but has not yet put wards to prevent it from doing what it is about to do. Eight tentacles in total flow into the room around the bed where Ishtar is napping with a bulb at each that opens to reveal an eyeball or a mouth of some sort.
Four of the tentacles wrap around Ishtar's limbs to prevent her from moving as the eyes on the end of each one captures her form for its aberrant amusement. Two of the reaming four close and invade her mouth to keep her from screaming as well as pushing past the lips of her labia to invade her insides; a tongue issuing from the bulb to lick around. The other two mouth tentacles clamp down on her breasts to tease and suckle at her tits.
Ishtar is awakened by the intrusions but finds she can do nothing more than moan in pleasure against her predicament. Mentally she is screaming for help but she knows it's mostly in vain and hopes Kodyax comes for her soon. The mouth tentacle finds something interesting to taste when its tongue reaches Ishtar's womb as some of Kodyax's sperm are trying to fertilize one of Ishtar's eggs.
All Ishtar can feel is the tongue at work as it gathers up sperm cells and egg cells as the abhorrynth devours the genetic material. A weary Kodyax comes up to find his suite invaded by tentacles which soon replaces his tiredness with righteous rage. An angry Kodyax verily assaults the tentacles invading his territory and especially the female that has so willingly given herself to him.
The abhorrynth releases Ishtar from its grasp and retreats but retains the semen and unfertilized egg that was in her womb. Ishtar hugs Kodyax desperately and clings to him, weeping all the while. Kodyax comforts Ishtar as best he can and holds her close.
It may not seem like much but Ishtar does feel a lot safer in Kody's arms as her pussy leaks cum onto his leather. Kody lays her down and licks at her tits as she moans appreciably at having a being she knows is doing this out of affection and not an expression of power. As the waters start to recede around them, Kodyax is naked in his bed fucking Ishtar as the mink lays in bed moaning as she lets the lupursyn have her way with her.
