Well, I'm back. Been what, three years since I last posted a story? Anyways, I'll be trying to write short stories for now rather than long, multi-chapter series, so don't expect a continuation of this or any of my old, unfinished stories. Maybe sometime in the distant future, but I just don't have the stamina for a novel. About this story in particular; it's based on the continuity of the Sonic Adventure and later games and/or Sonic X, but it's not part of them. Think of it as happening in an alternate universe so as to avoid any continuity errors. Finally, I want to give thanks to Kitsune Youkai for creating the picture that I use at the end of the story, I commissioned it from him and gained the idea for the story as he was coloring it. Kitsune Youkai can be found at http://www.furaffinity.net/user/kitsuneyoukai/ and http://kitsuneyoukai.sofurry.com/
Anyways, I hope you enjoy the story, and feel free to leave any feedback you feel may help me in my future stories.

A Tale of Two Foxes:
The Story of Miles and Millia Prower
It was just another day in Mobius, the sounds of birds chirping filled the air as illumination from the sun slowly spread over the landscape, revealing the green and brown of trees, grass and various other vegetation. The light spread further as the sun slowly climbed past the horizon, illuminating the brown wood and cold, silvery steel of the home and workshop of Miles Tails Prower. Inside, the sounds of metal clanging together reverberated through the shed in which he worked as Tails' fuzzy orange hands, blackened with grease worked a wrench to turn and tighten a bolt.
"Hey bud, is the Tornado almost done?" came the somewhat impatient voice of Sonic, his blue arms crossed over his chest as the sound of his boot rapidly tapping against the floor joined the metal clangs of parts shifting and moving from underneath Tails' blue biplane.
"I'm trying Sonic, but I just can't figure out what adjustment is needed," Tails' young voice echoed from underneath the Tornado in response, the orange vulpine shifting and squirming around as he gazed over the jumbles of differently colored wires and the cold grey of various machinery that made up the inside of the Tornado.
A silent sigh escaped Sonic's maw as he walked over to a nearby window, the sounds of his footsteps echoing from the hard, metal floor with every step. As he neared the window, he suddenly and quickly raised his arm over his eyes as a bright flash shown through the window in an instant, a blur of white reflecting off every object in the light's path. Sonic's eyes shut tight as an almost painful glare obstructed his vision, an exasperated "Whoa!" escaping his maw as he turned his head away from the source of the blinding light.
"Sonic, what is that?" Tails asked as the light from the flash made itself known even to the young fox underneath the blue biplane he had been working on. Tails' legs shifted and squirmed as he struggled to quickly remove himself from under the Tornado to see what had happened, his body slowly coming into view even as the flash of light died down, blurry white quickly being replaced by the normal colors of the workshop as Tails stood up and ran over to the window.
"Whoa, what was that? Hey Tails, you see anything?" Sonic asked as his eyes slowly fluttered open. A glare still obstructed his vision, but he was barely able to make out Tails looking through the window, the glare slowly fading as his sight became a bit clearer with each passing second.
"There's still a light out there, think maybe we should go check it out?" Tails responded as he stared at a bright glow emanating from the forest that the workshop resided in, Tails' hand acting as a visor as the glow was just under what could be considered blinding, yet fading bit by bit as time passed.
As the glare faded from his eyes, Sonic looked out the window at the fading light as well, then after just a second of consideration stated, "Alright, let's go. I'll get us there in no time!" Before Tails could even react Sonic's hand was on his arm, a yelp escaping his maw as his surroundings became a blur, the blue hedgehog speeding through Tails' house, through the door then zipping through the forest like a bullet.
"Ahh, Sonic!" Tails cried out as he felt as though he would be blown away like a piece of paper in the wind from how fast Sonic ran, blurs of green and brown surrounding him as Sonic quickly came to the source of the light that continue to shine brightly, yet no longer blinding. Sonic screeched to a halt, his feet digging into the ground below and kicking up patches of grass and dirt around where he came to a halt.
Tails took a moment to recover from the experience, his hand rubbing over his forehead and his eyes fluttering as he attempted to regain his focus. "Whoa, hey Tails, check that out!" Sonic said to the orange fox, gaining Tails' attention as he pointed over to the source of the light. Gazing over to where Sonic motioned, Tails saw a large oval of white, swirling energies creating what appeared to be a portal, the energies slowly dissipating as the portal shrunk at a accelerated rate; first slowly, but picking up speed as the seconds passed, energies breaking off from it.
"Hey Sonic, do you see that?" Tails motioned to a form laying face-up in front of the portal, partially obstructed by the white light that the portal emanated. As the light dwindled down Tails moved towards the form, the portal soon closing as Tails sauntered over to whoever it was that had come through, and soon got quite a shock as could finally make out what the figure looked like. "What?" was all Tails could get out, his eyes widening and his maw agape in dumbstruck awe as he saw orange fur of the figure's body, with white over its stomach, snout, and the tips of its... two tails? What also caught Tails' attention was the figure's chest; two smallish breasts that would just barely be a handful, heaving and shrinking with the female's slow breathing.
"Whoa, she looks just like you!" Sonic noted as he too gazed at the form sprawled out on the ground. Sonic watched as Tails knelt down next to her, the female's eyes barely open as she gazed up weakly at him.
"Who?..." she muttered as her eyes slowly closed, her vision blurred and slowly darkening as her energy was obviously drained from whatever experience she just had. Tails gazed up at Sonic, the look in his awe-struck and question-filled eyes seeming to ask what they should do.
"Hey Sonic, lets... get her to my place," Tails finally managed to say as he gently placed a hand on the vixen's shoulder, instinctively rubbing over the cotton-soft fur through his fingers as he gazed at her both quizzically and with concern.
"Okay bud," Sonic answered back, a bit of concern in his voice as well as he stepped over to the vixen, kneeling down and sliding his arms underneath the unconscious form, then with a grunt lifting her up into his arms. A short time later they arrived at Tails' bedroom, the sleeping vixen curled up in Tails' bed, sheets wrapped over her body and her chest raising and lowering in gentle breaths as she slumbered.
"Alright Sonic, I'll let you know when she wakes up," Tails told Sonic as the two stood in front of the front door of the house and workshop, the blue hedgehog halfway out, prepared to return to his own home.
"Okay bud, I'll talk to you later," Sonic responded with a grin, raising his hand to gives Tails a "thumbs up" before a streak of blue announced his departure, Sonic racing off to his own place and leaving Tails standing there, hand raised in the air and waving as his friend left. With a sigh Tails casually closed the door, it creaking as it swung before closing with a click.
"What should I do now?" floated in Tails' mind as he sauntered to the room in which the vixen who looked remarkably like him rested in his bed. Slowly he pushed the door open to the room, careful that it did not creak too much in case she still slept, and poked his head through the door to find her still curled in the white sheets. The vixen squirmed a bit under the covers, soft moans emanating from her as she mumbled incoherently, Tails softly stepping into the room out of curiosity as to what she was saying.
"Uhh, wha-" the girl mumbled softly as she opened her eyes, her eyelids blinking rapidly in an attempt to focus as she slowly and wearily sat up, the sheets resting just below her breasts. "W- Where am I?" she mumbled softly as she gazed at her surroundings, before her gaze froze at the male fox just a few feet away from her.
"Are... you okay?" Tails almost stuttered, trying to find words to say to the vixen who even now stared at him in wide-eyed amazement and near-shock. For a moment, she made no sound, Tails' words barely registering in her mind as staring at this fox made her feel as though she was staring into some sort of mirror.
"Uh, I... uh," she stuttered and fumbled with her words, not sure what to say, her eyes still wide with disbelief at what she was seeing. "Y- yeah... yeah, I'm okay," her reply finally came, inhaling deeply in an attempt to relax herself, her eyes still fixed on Tails though not nearly as wide as she relaxed in the bed. "So, um, who are you?"
Tails slowly relaxed as well as the vixen affirmed herself to be okay, taking just a few steps closer to her, a hand holding onto the headboard of the bed as he smiled softly and reassuringly. "My name is Miles, though all my friends call me Tails," he casually replied to her question, his feet rubbing into the floor as feelings of awkwardness rushed through him.
"Tails? That's... what my friends call me, though my real name is Millia," she told Miles, her eyes widening again even as memories started to rush back to her, the thoughts of flying through a portal, hurtling through it before she was deposited onto the ground of a strange forest. "He must have found me. Did that portal...?" she wondered, her hand idly rubbing her chin as more memories surfaced and her expression went from wide-eyed to somber as if those memories weren't exactly pleasant.
"Are you okay?" Miles once again asked Millia as he noticed her sad expression, his hand slowly reaching for her shoulder due to instinct to comfort her, but stopping before he did as he realized he had no idea how she would react. Millia noticed this as she turned to respond, staring at his hand as he began to retract it before she softly nodded and forced a soft smile to spread over her lips. Miles simply nodded again as he himself forced a soft, reassuring smile as well, finally deciding to take a chance and place his hand on her shoulder, gently rubbing and massaging over her muscles.
Millia gently murred at the feeling, her eyes lidding half-closed as she leaned into the massage, enjoying the hand rubbing her tense muscles. "So, is this your place?" she asked as she allowed her sight to roam around the room, noticing simple shelves and desks interspersed around the room, including a computer in one corner opposite the bed.
"Yeah, it's also my workshop where I build things! I have a plane in the other room that I'm trying to make adjustments to," Tails replied with wide-eyed eagerness to her question, garnering an excited reaction from Millia as she grinned eagerly at the mention of a workshop and a plane.
"Really? I like to build things, too!" she stated excitedly as she pushed the sheets off her body, revealing the rest of her form as well as allowing a slight scent to escape into the open. However, Miles did not even notice it as he was too focused on her words to pay attention to much else.
"Really? Hey, if you want maybe you can help me! I've been trying to make some adjustments to my plane, but I've been having some problems," Miles explained to her, his excitement barely contained, wasting no time motioning to the door. Millia simply nodded, her maw slightly open in a wide grin as she quickly hopped out of bed. However, a loud yelp suddenly escaped her maw as her legs quivered almost like jelly, having forgotten that she was still recovering from her ordeal. Miles yelped in surprise and shock as he instinctively turned around, his paws quickly grabbing Millia's sides in an attempt to assist her in balancing herself.
"Ahh, th- thanks," Millia stuttered as her breathing came in heavy and rapid gasps, hands grasping Miles' shoulders as strength slowly returned to her legs. Miles nodded in response as he kept his grip firmly on her, watching as she slowly began to balance herself on her legs as if trying to remember how to stand. Slowly Millia took small steps, toes gripping the floor as she slowly regained her ability to walk.
Miles gazed at her as she gradually took bigger steps closer to him, gazing at her as if to once again ask if she was okay, but noticing it, she simply nodded before he could as she rediscovered her strength and her pace became much more stable. "Thanks, Miles," she said to him again as she gave him a reassuring smile, a slight blush reddening her face from the slight humiliation of what just happened. A relieved sigh issued from Miles' mouth as he slowly released his grip on her, satisfied that she was fine now as he finally led her out of the room to show her his workshop, this time with a slower pace instead of rushing out the door.
"Wow, this looks a lot like my workshop," Millia stated as she gazed in wonder at all the machinery that littered every bench and strewn about the floor. Miles chuckled a bit as he simply motioned her over to the hanger where the Tornado was kept; walking at a slow, steady pace so as to not tire Millia out.
"Here's where I keep my plane, the Tornado!" Tails practically announced to the vixen as he opened the door to reveal the blue biplane parked on the floor. Her eyes widened in both familiarity and amazement as she looked over the wings, following them to the two cockpits of the biplane and the single propeller in the front.
"Wow! It looks almost like mine! Well, except I painted mine white," she stated eagerly as she ran a hand over one of the wings, taking in the smooth feeling of the blue-painted metal on her paw and admiring the craftsmanship. "So, what's wrong with it?"
"Well, I'm trying to increase its efficiency so it doesn't require as much power," Tails responded as he picked up a nearby wrench and a few parts from a nearby bench and began to climb under the plane, his legs pushing against the metal floor to position himself into the same position he was in earlier. Millia, noticing this, joined him underneath the biplane, Miles pushing himself a bit to the side to allow her room as she squirmed and shifted into a position that allowed her to easily view the wires and components jumbled together inside the Tornado.
Millia listened intently as Miles pointed out the various components, her eyes following his finger as he explained what function each component performed, his finger tracing bundles of wires as he described how everything was connected. She marveled at just how similar the biplane was to her own, her maw slightly open and her eyes following Miles' every move as memories of the layout of her own plane flooded her mind. Soon the clanging of metal against metal echoed through the workshop, the two vulpines discussing what pieces to replace, or if a capacitor should be adjusted. As the minutes passed a scent once against wafted into Miles' nose, somewhat stronger than earlier, his eyebrows rising as he wondered what the scent was. However, a sudden announcement of "That's it!" from Millia grabbed his attention, her eyes brightening and her maw agape in excitement as an idea formed in her head.
Even as she began to explain her idea to Tails, she was already working a tool, grunting a bit as she adjusted a bolt here and performed some rewiring there. Soon Tails' own expression brightened, his maw agape in a broad smile as he joined her in reworking components and switching around wires to complete the modifications that had given him so much trouble.
The two foxes giggled and smiled amusedly as they picked themselves off the floor, mechanical grease splattered all over their faces and hands, their fur sticky with the black liquid. Miles chuckled softly as he grabbed a towel and some liquid soap from a nearby bench, handing it to Millia to clean herself with while he briefly left to obtain another. Millia smiled softly as she squirted the soap onto her fur, her fingers scrubbing it in to loosen the black, inky substance before she rubbed the towel into her fur to remove the grease while mentally making a note to take a shower later.
A sudden ringing caught Millia's attention as it echoed into the workshop. Curiously, she walked to the source, her ears flicking and her eyes peering through a door as she heard a click and Miles began talking on the other side, gazing over to him to find him talking on a phone.
"Umm, hello? Oh, hi Sonic!" Tails spoke into the receiver, smiling as he talked to his best friend. Millia's ears perked at the name "Sonic," an expression of mild shock apparent on her face as her eyes opened wide, then softened into a somber expression as memories once again flooded her. With a sigh she leaned against a wall as Miles' voice was drowned out in a sea of memories, her tails drooping as a single tear flooded out from her eyes and matted the fur underneath it.
However, the sudden feeling of a paw on her shoulder as the soft voice of Miles softly calling out "Millia?" snapped her out of her trance, a gasp escaping her maw as she flinched from the sudden contact. "What's wrong?" Tails asked as he gazed worriedly at her expression, the vixen letting out a sigh as she leaned up against the todd.
"Your friend's name is Sonic?" She asked softly as Miles wrapped an arm around her back, gently running his fingers into her shoulder fur and softly rubbing her muscles. He nodded in response , his hand moving over her back to gently rub and massage the muscles there, wondering what had happened to her before she appeared in the woods. "I had a friend named Sonic, too."
Tails' mind wandered over what she just said, trying to puzzle how the two not only looked alike, but also how they both have a friend named Sonic. As he did his mind went back to the bright flash and the portal he saw just that morning, and gradually conclusions pieced together in his mind as to just what that portal was.
"I guess that means we're, um, kind of the same person, huh?" Tails revealed to the vixen next to him, a vixen that shared his looks from the color of their fur, to the tuft of fur on their chest. The only differences were their names and the fact that one was a boy while the other was a girl. Millia smiled softly at the news, having come to the same conclusion as she gently nuzzled Miles' shoulder. "So um, what happened to you? How'd you get here?"
"I, well..." Millia stuttered as she let out a sigh, her head hanging as she recalled what had happened before she found herself hurtling through an interdimensional portal. Tails, seeing her reaction, was about to say something, but she cut him off before he could get a word out; "Robotnik had captured some of our friends, so me and Sonic were flying to his base in my biplane to stop him. Amy was there too, she did not want to be left behind and managed to follow us. When we got there, Amy and Sonic were captured in cages when she ran on ahead and Sonic chased after her," she began her story, tails drooping once more and a foot rubbing into the floor as she recalled the events, Tails continuing to massage and rub her back as he listened. "I managed to avoid the trap and ran over to a console to try to release them, but then Robotnik showed up. He said he was going to throw us all into a portal to get rid of us. It was right next to where I was, but..."
Millia sniffled softly as tears began to well up in her eyes, her arm raising and rubbing over her eyes to wipe them dry. Miles let out a soft sight, his own expression somber as he gazed reassuringly at the vixen, his tails waving softly and idly in the air as she began her story again.
"The portal malfunctioned. Everything in the room started to explode... everyone was caught in it... Sonic, Amy... even Robotnik. Last thing I remember was being pushed back into the portal, and then I saw you a bit later after I came out of it," she ended her tale and huddled closer to Tails, sobbing softly as tears matter her facial fur. All Miles could do was to hold her close, gently massaging her as he attempted to come up with something to say, anything to comfort her, but came up empty. He wanted to cry himself; thoughts of losing his own friends like that filled him with dread and made him want to curl up into a ball.
However, he held his tears back and simply nuzzled Millia's cheek even as his hands massaged her back. She gazed up to him as he did so, a feeling of safety and contentment washing over her as he comforted her in the only way he could think of, and flicked her tongue over his cheek in a small, quick lick of appreciation. Tails was taken aback at the sudden gesture, gazing at her in surprise, but quickly formed a gentle smile and chuckled softly even as his cheeks turned apple-red.
"Um, thanks Miles for listening," she said to him even as her cheek rubbed against his, resting against his form for a moment before lifting herself up. "I, uh, think I want to go for a walk, if that's okay," she requested somberly, a sort of sad smile on her face as she said those words.
"Oh, okay. Well, if you need me, I'll be here," Tails responded as he rubbed the back of his head with a paw, thinking that she likely wanted some time alone. However, as he turned he suddenly felt a tug on his arm, his head turning back to see an expression of longing from the vixen.
"Actually, um, would you walk with me? I... don't really want to be alone," she almost begged Miles, the thought of being alone after everything that had happened almost causing her to tremble, her hand gripping Miles' arm firmly.
"Oh, okay," Miles responded as he felt her grip on his arm, his concern for her growing as he saw the way she acted. Wrapping his arm around her back, he slowly walked with her to the door of the house, the vixen cuddling close to him as they stepped outside and onto the soft grass of his front yard.
Time passed slowly as the two foxes wandered the forest near Tails' house and workshop, the Sun slowly creeping above them as the afternoon slowly passed. As the two wandered, soft grass between their toes and fresh air wafting in their noses, something else found its way into Miles' nostrils, an odd, spicy scent he had sensed earlier which appeared to intensify as time passed. As the two came to a clearing, sitting down in a small, soft patch of brown dirt the scent stirred feelings deep within the todd, the white-furred sheath between his legs rapidly filling as he attempted to make sense of it all. Millia also appeared to be affected by it as she squirmed slightly, the inside of her legs rubbing together as she felt an itch in her crotch, which served to only release more of that scent for Miles' nose to pick up.
"Uhh, w- what?" Miles stuttered softly as he felt something poking from between his legs. Looking down, his cheeks flushed bright red as he saw his quickly-hardening shaft poking free of his sheath, the bright-red rod making itself noticed as it slowly slipped free. Millia also noticed it, her own cheeks red in embarrassment and a little bit of curiosity as she stared at the tool, the sight of it only serving to intensify the itch between her own legs and making her squirm and rub against the ground.
"Ah, Millia, I'm s-" Miles began to apologize as he was about to hide his obvious erection, when suddenly he felt the soft fur of her hand rubbing against it, sending shivers through his frame as a sharp gasp escaped his lips. "Uhh, wha- what are you..." he moaned out as his body shivered from her touch, the pleasure coursing through him combined with the scent of her heat to drain away any resistance he might have otherwise had.
Millia did not say a word, her gaze fixed on the quickly-growing shaft on her hand, staring in awe as she took in the tool's bright-red color and the way it pulsated with her touch. Slowly instinct took over them both as Miles laid down on his back, his hands clenching hers to lead her over onto him. Gasps, followed by moans escaped their lips as Miles rubbed his hard shaft on Millia's vaginal lips, her fluids drooling on the rod and making it shine in the sunlight. Miles' arms wrapped around her in an embrace as his shaft poked at her entrance, sending sparks coursing through both of them as he suddenly plunged in, Millia's walls stretching from the intrusion, causing a pained yelp to escape her as her passage heated and throbbed in sudden pain.
"Ah, Millia?" Miles yelped from concern as the yelp flooded his ears, his eyes wide as he watched her bite her lip and let out a soft whimper.
"Just- just wait a second, okay? I'm okay," she responded through clenched teeth, her body shaking as her tunnel clenched down over Miles' cock, sending more shocks coursing through him that were only overcome by his concern for the vixen on top of him. Slowly Millia lifted herself up, but ensured Miles' shaft stayed buried inside her as she settled on his lap. Just as Miles was about to ask if she really was okay, a sudden surge of pleasure caused another moan to escape him as Millia slowly lifted herself up, her walls massaging and clenching over his shaft. Just as it seemed as though she was about to climb off him, Millia quickly lowered herself back on him, her body trembling as fluids rushed over Miles' malehood as it filled her tunnel, causing them both to squirm and shiver as pleasure flooded them like a river overflowing its banks.
Once again instinct took over as Miles grabbed her by the hips, pulling back as she lifted herself off him, before thrusting up into the tightness of her pulsating tunnel as she quickly lowed herself onto him once more. Their tails flicked wildly in the air as they continued their rutting, Miles' cock pulsating and squirting precum liberally as it dragged against her tight tunnel, rubbing over every inch and sending them both into pleasured moans and howls that echoed through the forest. Pulling Millia onto him, Miles wrapped his arms around her tightly even as his hips continued to thrust wildly in and out of her, pressure building within his furred balls even as Millia squirmed and thrashed in pleasure, her tunnel clamping down on him as juices flooded over his shaft in her first orgasm. A howl escaped her maw as she trembled and squirmed, the shaft massaging the walls of her tunnel keeping the pleasure high as another orgasm soon followed and she once again tightened like a vice over Miles' rod.
Miles' body tensed as the feeling of Millia's tunnel clamping down on him only served to build the pressure within his soaked, bright-red cock and white, furred balls. His hips continued to thrust wildly as his pace quickened, his teeth clenched, and the base of his cock began to swell into a knot. Somewhere in the back of his mind he seemed to remember something regarding this, something he had been told once but that thought was washed away by the flood of pleasure that rushed through him, his knot slipping past Millia's entrance before being yanked out with a audible "pop." Loud gasps and moans escaped the vulpines' lips, Millia's body trembling as her tunnel vibrated and clenched in another orgasm, while Miles' body tensed and his teeth once again clenched from the intense pleasure. With one last thrust into the tunnel, his knot slid past the vaginal lips and locked inside the vixen. Miles' balls drew up, his shaft tightened and twitched and his expression turned to one of release as cum poured from his tip, white, sticky seed coating his shaft and every recess of the tunnel that continued to vibrate and clench over him.
Even as the two-tailed foxes trembled and howled in pleasure, millions of tiny sperm swam through the cervix of the vixen, finding their way through her womb and into her tubes where they came across one of her fertile eggs. The sperm attacked the ova, weakening the outside barrier until one penetrated into it to leave the foxes with something for them to remember the occasion.
As Miles and Millia laid there on the ground, their breathing rapid and their hips joined together, the realization of what they just did hit them, causing their faces to grow beet-red as their minds raced over the implications that could arise. As Miles' breathing slowed and his mind came off his pleasure-fueled rush, he suddenly remembered what he had learned about mating, finally recognizing the scent he had smelled before as being her heat. The two just laid there, locked together as they stared into each other's eyes, worry and uncertainty emanating from their expressions.
Slowly, however, Tails expression to one of acceptance. Somehow, this just felt right. It was too late to do anything about it, and even though he only just met Millia today, if she was pregnant he was not about to ditch her. Slowly a smile spread across his face as he brushed his fingers through Millia's cheek fur, the vixen gazing into his eyes with a little bewilderment at the affections he gave her.
"Um, well, I guess we should get to know each other more, huh?" Tails quipped with a soft chuckle and then planted a small kiss on the tip of her nose. With a sigh, Millia nodded and gave a little smile of her own in return, lowering her head down to rest on his shoulder, curling their tails together as they rested on the soft ground. For Miles, at the moment it felt right, but thoughts of worry and doubt still crept in. He hoped that everything would turn out all right, that as they got to know one another that they would not end up with a sour relationship. She may have been technically the same person as him, but it was clear she could easily have lived a much different life, and only time could tell what would become of them.
Epilogue
As the months went on, Miles and Millia found themselves amazed at how similar they were. In both their worlds, they had friends in Sonic, Amy, Knuckles and the rest, and they both had an enemy in Dr. Robotnik, or Dr. Eggman as Miles knew him. With respect to the personalities, there were a few differences between the two. These differences were mostly due to their gender as well as subtle differences in the lives they lead. Fortunately, the others were willing to accept Millia, and though her pregnancy at first gave them pause, even that was eventually accepted and the two were able to live a pleasant life together. At least once a week Miles and Millia would take a walk through the woods to the clearing where they first mated, although as time went on this became increasingly difficult due to the bulge that formed in Millia's midsection, her energy quickly draining due to the extra weight she was forced to carry. However, this also created another one of their most memorable experiences as six months into Millia's pregnancy the two were on the way back home from another walk to the clearing. Her legs felt weak as she gently held her belly, prompting her to ask for a rest before they continued. Gazing around at their surroundings, Miles soon found a nearby log against a tree, which he decided to help her rest against so that she may recover. As Millia rested one had against her bulging stomach, her other held Miles' hand as he knelt down in front of her and rested his free hand on her knee, gently rubbing and massaging her with it, fingers running through her fur. As they stared into each other's eyes, they knew that this was right. This was where they wanted to be, here tending to each other and aiding one another, and with one more on its way, they would not give up any of this for anything in the world.
