Tribal Wolves
"You know my father doesn't want you around me, Caleb," I said as another wolf sauntered up to me. Caleb smiled his roguish smile and crossed his arms.
"Jacob, you're skinning a deer. I can help if I want. Besides, the alpha's out hunting with his golden boy right now."
"He'll still smell you," I said as I got up and started to walk away.
I really didn't need the lecture from the alpha or my brother. I started walking away from the clearing of the camp and went into the woods.
"Where are you going," Caleb asked as he trotted after me.
"I'm going to pee," I said in a huff.
"Great," he said, "I was just on my way to mark the territory."
I twirled around and said with my ears back, "I...you... you can't come with me."
He gave me that pouty face he always gives me and took my cheek in his paw, "Why not, love?"
"Father wants me to focus on females. He says I'm being foolish. 'You can have the all the females you want after your brother,' he said."
"Then focus on the females for a while. I'll still be around."
"But I don't want females. I want-"
"Me?" Caleb asked.
I sighed and walked on. Caleb grabbed my hand to stop me.
"What about your brother? I can't imagine he's happy with this."
"He's your best friend, Caleb. But we've never really talked about, um, you and me before. Now can you let me go before I pee all over your leg?"
Caleb gave his smile and told me I might as well put my bladder to use. I agreed and turned to walk further into the forest.
As we made our way toward the edge of our territory, arms wrapped around my waist and fingers ran through my soft belly fur. I panicked. The fear of getting caught by anyone was too great for me. I whimpered Caleb's name and he shushed me.
He licked my ear and softly said, "The alpha's not here. Your brother's not here. Just relax. Can you do that, Sweetie?" I sank into his chest and nodded. "Good. Do you know the river we use to wash?"
My mood somewhat soured. Of course I know where the river is. He's treating me like a cub again. I usually hate that, but when Caleb does it, it's just annoying.
I sighed and said, "You know, you're only four years older than me."
He chuckled, mumbled something about hanging around my brother too much, and continued, "After we're through, lets walk over there and have some alone time." I opened my mouth to object, but he cut me off, "Who goes to the river at this time of day? Who cares who sees us?"
I felt my cheeks burn and I laid my ears down. Caleb released me and started ahead. "It's an open secret anyway."
"That doesn't mean it shouldn't stay a secret, Caleb," I mumbled as I walked behind him. I didn't want my father to punish him.
"Jacob, we've been over this."
Caleb walked up to a tree and pulled his loincloth aside. I quickly became interested in a spot of mold on another tree and blushed as I heard the stream hit the tree. "You need to be more assertive with your father, even if he is the alpha. You need to show him you can take care of yourself."
"But I-"
"I know," Caleb said as he pulled my tail.
I laughed and swatted him away. He tried to reach again, but I was too quick and pinned him against a tree.
"I know you can take care of yourself," he said with a grin as he wrapped his arms around me, "you just want someone to do it for you."
My eyes narrowed. "What!?!"
He said with a whining voice, "'Caleb, can you string my bow?' 'Caleb, I got a splinter.' 'Caleb, my tail hurts. Can you rub it?' 'Caleb, I wanna give you a blowjob.'"
I smirked, "I don't remember saying that last one."
"You don't? I remember-"
A lick on his nose shut him up. He raised an eyebrow and started rubbing his fingers through the fur on my back. My tail swished lazily behind me as I leaned in to lick his muzzle.
"What happened to getting caught," he asked with a mischievous smile.
I shrugged and nuzzled his neck, pressing my body against his. He pulled me closer. I blushed as I felt his member press against my belly through his loincloth. The heat coming from us was intense. I moved a hand to his head and pulled him into a kiss. Our tongues danced in our muzzles constantly gaining or loosing ground to the other. Soon we were fighting for breath and Caleb pulled away first.
He panted "You aren't the Jacob I know. What did you do to him?"
"I'm not allowed to let go once and a while?"
"Of course," he said as he ran his paws slowly up and down my back.
I grabbed his paws and slowly slid them down to my rump. I moaned into his chest as he squeezed my cheeks. We were both panting; I was trembling. I felt his penis throb; he felt mine. I rubbed my hips against his and felt his paws clench my rump. I thrilled at the thought that only two strips of hide separated our members.
My bladder suddenly seized and I stopped.
"Are we going too fast," Caleb asked.
"I need to pee."
I scrambled out of his embrace and pushed him aside. I pulled my loincloth aside and saw him watching me.
"Don't look."
"I'm not."
"Yes you are, you pervert."
"I'm looking at your butt," he said flabbergasted.
I blushed and looked at the tent in his loincloth. He followed my gaze and stroked himself. I blushed harder.
"You're still a pervert. Turn around."
"Fine, jeeze. Talk about killing the mood."
"Are you turned around?"
"Yes."
"Are you sure?"
"Pee already. I wanna continue."
I sighed and let myself go. I pinned my ears back as I thought about what we just did. That was too fast, idiot. What were you thinking? That's not you. What's he going to think of you now? But it was fun, and the danger of getting caught thrilled me. What if he wants to do it again? What if I_want to do it again? What would happen if want to go further? How would we go further?_ "'What if?' isn't going to get you anywhere," I mumbled.
"What's that," he asked.
I turned around, "Was that too fast for you? I know we haven't done much at all-"
"No," Caleb laughed, "we really haven't."
"-so I was just...wondering. Thanks for that." I gave an irritated smirk and shook my head. Damn it. Treats me like a cub and says the wrong things at the wrong time. "I'm going back," I said coolly and started to walk off. I suddenly couldn't stand being around him.
"What? What did I say," he said as he grabbed for my arm. I yanked it away before he could touch me.
"You didn't hear yourself just now? I'm not comfortable with...What if someone..." I trailed off and grew more frustrated. Didn't he realize anything? "We can't just do...things... like others can," I said, "It's just not..." Not what. Right? No, that's not it. I love Caleb. He loves me. "I'll see you later, Caleb. I just need to think about things for a while."
Great. That went well. I kicked a rock as I made my way back. Why did I have to go off like that? Why did he have to be such a jerk? He knows I don't want to be caught; especially like that. He can really sour a mood. What was I supposed to do? I was horny. I can't help that. I whimpered. I didn't get off and now I was aching. I thought back to the tree. God, it felt so good. I shook my head. I'm mad at him. I can't start thinking about stuff like that. Was that too fast for us? What if he's right? He is right. We really haven't done much. Poor wolf. I should really go back to him. I'm still mad at him, though. And I killed the mood. Yeah, I'll go back to him later. Let him think about what he said. My mind was really racing. I stopped and sniffed the air. I wagged my tail; the smell of roasting deer. The hunting party caught something at least. We wouldn't go hungry tonight, and that's always a good feeling.
I stepped into our camp's clearing and sniffed myself. Caleb's scent was all over me. I tried not to whine as I thought what my brother - or worse, my father - would do to him. I had to get rid of his scent without being obvious, but how? An idea flashed into my head and I quickly ran back into the forest. Soil should get rid of his scent. I rubbed as much soil into my fur as I could, hoping against everything this would work. I must've looked very odd to anyone passing by. When I was satisfied I sniffed my arm. My ears pulled back and I sighed; now I just smelled like Caleb and dirt. I'll have to avoid them. That's never easy. People notice you when you're the son of the alpha.
Thankfully the other wolves were preoccupied with the large roast. I made sure to keep my distance from my brother and father. I could stand across from them with the wind blowing the scent and smoke into my fur. I wagged my tail and smiled at how smart I was. An hour conversing with the other wolves did a lot to get over my frustrations with Caleb. In fact I didn't even smell him when he came up behind me and whispered in my ear. "Meet me at the river after this." I glanced over at my family. They weren't looking. I nodded. He gave me a quick lick on my ear and mingled with the wolves.
I stayed where I was and paid attention to the females. Running my hand down their hips or brushing their breasts. They saw right through me and giggled, casting glances at Caleb and running their hands across my chest. One was even bold enough to ask me when I was going to move to Caleb's tent. I snarled and snapped at her; there are some things betas don't say to their betters, even if they are true. But they enjoyed me nonetheless. Attention from one of the alpha's sons, even the queer one, made many lusting bitches and jealous males.
I finally made it to my brother's side. Saden was strong, lean, and gifted with a natural talent of command most wolves could only wish for. That's why he's in line to become alpha.
"Father, I'm glad the hunt went well," I said, giving him the proper greeting. His muzzle was graying and he couldn't give chase like he used to, but he was still my father. "There was trouble on the border of the northern pack. Hunting rights. It nearly turned into a skirmish. Isn't that right, Saden," my father asked, giving my brother a knowing look.
"Yes father," Saden said with a small nod. "Jacob, did you manage everything while we were away? No trouble?" A bitch put a paw on his shoulder
"Dear, not now. Enjoy the feast. There will be plenty of time to discuss these matters later". Tria was Saden's mate. She already had swollen breasts from her pregnancy. "Right now, I'm going to borrow your brother." Saden halfheartedly waved as he continued to chat.
We walked to the other side of the fire, a gnawing sense of anticipation growing.
"How's the cub, Tria?"
She laughed. "He gave his first kick this afternoon! I haven't told Saden yet."
"That's good! So that means you'll start preparing your own place now, right? You two can have some other place to mate without me trying to sleep next to you."
"Jacob, I know you masturbate when we mate"- I blushed-"cubs do it all the time. I certainly did. I just didn't think about a female while I was doing it."
I scowled and laid my ears back. "Does every female know about me and Caleb."
"I didn't," she giggled, "until just now. He is a handsome wolf, isn't he?" She probably smelt the panic and anger rise from me because she quickly added, "I'm not stupid enough to get into that argument. But your brother asks questions at night. About you. About Caleb. He's getting anxious for you to find a mate."
"What do you think I should do, Tria?"
"Like I said, I'm not stupid. But just between you and me, the only ones denying it are your brother and father."
"Thank you, Tria."
She gave me a lick on the forehead and we walked back to our family My brother turned to look at us with a curious expression.
"What are you two whispering on about?" he asked.
"Nothing that concerns you dear. Just pack gossip. Someone isn't being satisfied by her mate. It's all she complains about."
"Come now, Tria. Don't bore my brother with that nonsense," he said as he looked me in the eye smiling, "Gossip's something only females do, right Jacob?"
"Everyone knows if I had been born first, you would be the one stuck here all day," I said. "It's hard work managing and defending all these females when the hunting parties are away. Sometimes I wish for more help, but I realize we can't spare anymore males."
My brother's expression soured. "Is that why you pulled Caleb from my hunting party? To give you more 'help'."
"I didn't pull Caleb from anything," I said, trying my best to retain a snarl. If Caleb could nip at my emotions, Saden could open them up and eat their organs. "I asked for more help, and Caleb volunteered. I'm sorry Caleb wants to avoid you now, but maybe you shouldn't have ripped his head off when he wanted to help me."
"So it's just coincidence Caleb is working with you without us to look over your shoulder?"
"Yes. I'm not a cub anymore," I snarled.
"Says you," he snarled back. This was turning into a serious fight.
"I know what it is. You're jealous of me. I have Caleb now. You don't." I smirked. "Or are you jealous of Caleb? Is that it big brother? Do you want me?" I said. I then realized what had just come out of my mouth, and I cringed as I saw my brother's fist pull back.
"Enough, both of you" a rough voice said. We looked toward my father. "Jacob, I told you not to see Caleb anymore. Don't make me repeat myself. Saden, stay out of your brother's business. This is our problem. Not yours."
Saden looked at me with hate in his eyes. I instantly submitted. "I'm sorry Saden. I-I wasn't thinking." My heart was pounding in my chest. He snapped at me, drawing blood from an ear that was too slow, before I could react. I looked to Tria for help; she was already walking after her perpetually growling mate.
I sighed and looked at my father. He was leisurely running his claws through his sheath's fur, looking off into the distance. I stood there, tail between my legs, waiting for his command. My eyes were focused on his paw, his sheath gradually filling out.
"Go. Go away for a few days. Let Saden calm down. I don't care where. But we'll discuss this later."
I nodded and walked away from the fire. I went towards the river where we bathed, praying Saden wouldn't find me along the way.
