Bad Karma Chapter 7
"Passengers, this is your pilot speaking. We are 15 minutes out of Minneapolis, and the weather is clear and sunny. We will be landing in 20 minutes as we make our way to the landing strip. Thank you for flying with Flightnation Airlines, and I hope you have a wonderful stay in Minneapolis."
Karma opened her eyes and looked out the window. They were still above the fluffy cotton ball clouds that made her feel like she was in some sort of dream land where the land furrs and the sky furrs could join in a world of beauty. Sure, the birds would come to the land for various reasons, but when they described flight, it was almost unrealistic. The experience seemed different for every bird, but it always sounded so wonderful to Karma. She had heard of some genetic experiments that were being done to crossbreed land furrs and sky furrs, but she knew that should those experiments be introduced to everyday life, they would be discriminated against, just like furrs originally were in the times of humans. It took 50 years for furrs to be accepted into school and work places, and another 100 for them to finally be accepted into everyday society. Soon, humans were the oddity, but the ones that were left, eventually became furrs. It was only $200 for a human to come to a lab, be put to sleep, and wake up a furr with all working parts, blood was drained from their bodies, and replaced by bioengineered blood cloned from the Man-Wolf. Karma had heard the stories from her mother, and her grandmother, and they were passed down from her great grandmother, the one of the first Vixens.
Karma's extrodinary fur was the result of inbreeding, her parents were brother and sister, their parents were twins, and so on and so forth. As other foxes mated with cousins, their family stayed together as mates. Karma even had brothers and sisters that were also her aunts and uncles, as the parents would mate with their parents as well. Karma however, never believed in this type of life, and wasn't entirely sure if she should even be with another fox. The other kits would laugh at her strange colors, but in her teens, she met a pup who thought she was goregous, and decided to date her. Karma's mother approved of the dating experience, thinking it was just a phase. But when Karma and Rimmy mated 5 months later, Karma's mother was horrified. She could have understood if Karma had not mated with one of her brothers or sisters, but why not a young boy fox? Karma and her mother never saw eye to eye after that. Her mother used to rant that she would never have grandchildren ("That's ridiculous mother, you have so many children, that your guaranteed at least one grandchild", Karma had told her once), but Karma never thought of that until a year later when she began to long for kits of her own, knowing that she could never have any unless she left Rimmy and got pregnant with another fox, but she refused to leave her mate for reasons such as that.
Rimmy on the other hand, was a pure-bred Shiba Inu, perfect coloring, perfect body, perfect everything. His mother sorta liked Karma, but Karma had to bribe her mother in law with gifts and flattery. Rimmy however earned his respect through hard work, motivation, and good natured thinking. Karma didn't think that there was a thing in this world that Rimmy could not do. He was intelligent, a good worker, kind, loving, and was just a good person.
Two weeks prior, they had taken a plane to Minneapolis to look for apartments and a car, and ended up driving a Ford pick up, and a 2 bedroom apartment with a nice big kitchen, living room, and two bathrooms. The apartment was a short drive from Rimmy's Corporate office, so it's location was ideal, and there were plenty of schools in the area.
Today, as Karma flew into their new city, Rimmy was driving the truck with the last oftheir furniture to the apartment, possibly already there waiting for her. She missed Victoria, and her students, but she was happy that they were moving. It was as though this was a fresh start. No Dalton to bother her, and no mother to drop by unexpectedly to bitch about her daughter's "poor and senseless descision." All in all, Karma knew that this move was good for both of them, but she also felt as though there was something wrong with leaving. Had she left something behind? No, they had done a full check of the apartment. It was just this feeling of leaving everything you've ever known behind.
"Not everything," Casey said outloud.
Karma looked around the plane to make sure no one heard her.
Shut up, shut up! She thought. I don't need your bull crap. Oh get over it, Karma. Casey thought. You're no fun anymore. You've gotten hard, and I don't like it. Well too mother fucking bad, I'm not going back to that. I'm back on the pills, and I'm going to see another therapist. I will be rid of you.
"Attention passengers, we are beginning our descent. Please fasten your seatbelts."
Karma never took her seat belt off when she was on planes, she was fond of psych thrillers and horror movies, and feared being killed should the planes exterior fall apart. The descent of the plane was rather peaceful and free of turbulence, and when she unboarded the massive hull, she found Rimmy waiting at the gate. They hugged and kissed, and proceeded to collect her suitcase from baggage claim, and made their way to the truck, and began the hour drive to their new home.
It was about 6pm by the time they made it to that apartment, and when they entered, Karma took a moment to register the scent. It smelled like apples on an autumn day with a hint of cherry blossom under the spice. The scent came from the surrounding apartments, as well as the Glade plug ins the previous owners had plugged into the circuits. It was a lovely smell, and very welcoming to her nose.
Rimmy placed his hands on her waist and kissed the back of her neck, licking, nipping...He closed the door and began to massage her breasts from behind continuing to kiss her. He moved her red curls out of the way and found that special spot on her neck covered in that lucious brown fur and kissed it, sucking her delicious skin as she moaned loudly for his touch. Her spine arched and her ass went straight into his pelvis, her tail went rigid with pleasure. His lips made their way down her back and she squirmed under the growing ache that had started between her legs. The gnawing of arousal slowlymade its way into her belly and up her breasts into her hard pierced nipples. Rimmy circled his fingers around her areola, stiffening her nipples more.
As he kissed her back, he began unbuttoning her shirt, slipping it off of her small arms, undoing her bra in a split second, letting them fall to the ground. He felt her abs, softly massaging her white belly fur. Her moans were silenced for a moment as she smiled, and rested her hands on his. The gnawing feeling had gone, and he held her as they swayed back in forth.
"So you guys didn't have sex?" Victoria asked over the phone "No, Victoria," Karma sighed. The night before, Karma had fallen asleep while she had stood in Rimmy's arms, and he had carried her to their bedroom to sleep. Today was his first day at work, and Karma had 2 weeks before she started at the local university.
"Hey, I'm just saying, I'm surprised," Victoria told her. "I mean, a new home, new jobs, a new life, a new place to fuck..." "Victoria..." "Oh, Karma, I know it's not like that. Has the stalker been in touch?" "I haven't heard a word from Dalton, but I believe Carl and Laurel will call him today." "They are good guys, right?" "Carl works at the jail over there, and I think Laurel works at some kind of factory, I know his wife told me that they have puppies on the way." "Aw, how sweet." "Yeah, they are great guys. Carl is abit reserved, he lets his actions do the talking for him, and when he does talk, he doesn't bullshit you." "You think he would have actually let you kill Jai?" "Just maybe. Carl is definitely alpha material, so he has the self control to stop himself from doing a lot of wrong things, but it's possible that he would allow someone else to do that dirty work." "I need to meet this guy." "Haha, I'll send him your number. I have to go finish unpacking, I'll call you tomorrow, allright?" "Sure thing dearie, be safe out there."
Karma put the phone back on the receiver. About 10 minutes later, she heard the mail slot open as they received their first load of junk mail. She picked up the papers, and went through them, a couple welcome to the neighborhood letters, something from Victoria (which turned out to be some edible fruit bouquets), junkmail and two letters. One addressed to her, and one addressed to Rimmy. She put his up on the counter without looking at who it was from. The letter addressed to her made her heart race, and she almost fell over. There was no return address but she recognized the handwriting from Dalton.
She almost wanted to cry. It had not occurred to her that Rimmy would tell them their new address, and she panicked. She wanted to throw it away, or burn it, but she also felt that Rimmy should see it. 2 hours passed as she sat there staring at the letter, unaware that someone had entered the house.
"Karma, I'm home."
There was no answer.
"Karma?"
Rimmy walked into the dining room and found her sitting there with something in her hand.
"Hun, are you allright?" "Dalton sent this." "Oh, can I see it?" "It's addressed to me. I haven't opened it." "Well go on and open it. He's a friendly guy." "Abit too friendly for my taste."
Rimmy raised his eyebrows at her in surprise.
"Karma, what are you talking about?" "Rimmy, I don't want to open this letter. Dalton has been trying to sleep with me ever since we moved into that apartment back there. I thought I was done with him!" "What do you mean that Dalton's been trying to sleep with you? He's my bud, he wouldn't do that to me. I'd kill him." "Rimmy, I didn't want to tell you, he's you're friend, and I didn't want to take that from you, but enough is enough!" "Karma, I think we should open that letter."
Karma started to cry, and Rimmy had to take the envelope from her. He opened it quickly and took the letter out.
"I'm going to read it aloud, okay?
Dear Karma,
I thought I should send you a letter wishing you and Rimmy good luck over there in Minnesota. I know it must be rough thinking that your husband is a sleaze ball who fucks innocent women at the office to death, so I thought I should set your mind at rest. No one is a sleaze ball, I took care of the queen personally, and gave her everything you could have had. You could have fucked a real male, and had those kits you wanted, sure they wouldn't have had a father, but hey you're strong enough to stay in a marriage where your husband doesn't give a shit about you, so I think you would have made it. You should know, you seriously missed out with me. I know that you won't tell Rimmy, you love him too much to tell him about this, I mean you never told him before, why tell him now? I just thought you should know, don't think you are done with me. I always find a way to get what I want, and I want you on my cock. So don't get too comfy, bitch.
Dalton."
Rimmy was frozen, and Karma had broken into a severe fit where she couldn't breathe. Rimmy could not believe that his friend had been harrassing Karma all this time. He looked at her, and rubbed her back, trying to calm her down.
"It's allright," he whispered. "Rimmy, I'm s-s-so sorry-y-y" "Don't cry sweety, it's okay. I'm going to call the police, allright? He won't bother you anymore."
Rimmy picked up the phone, and sent the report of a sexual predator back in L.A. He then went into the kitchen to look for food, not bothering Karma who was finally breathing somewhat normally again. On the counter was a letter addressed to him from EIGS CO. He opened it, and gave a loud bark, making Karma jump.
"Karma, look," he said excitedly. "Look, c'mere read this, look, its from the Experimental Institute of Genetic Science Company, they've accepted us into their free genetic engineering infancy program."
Karma just stared, not sure if she actually heard that right. Then her stomach knotted and she vomited on the floor.
