A Warriors Word

Sitting in a dark room, he softly whispers my name. Stalking the endless shadows, I can hear him, but I am blind. Deep breathe, take one at a time. Lick my lips, predict, where he might strike next.

"It's about damn time," I say. "Take my life, theres no more room for any more hurt, either way. " His breath stops suddenly, only slightly crawling down my neck. "You are wise," says the old Fawn, "Though you are young. Where is the wisdom coming from?"

I look down at a ground that I can't see, and softly whisper, "Somewhere.....way beyond me."

He snorts, and grasps my throat roughly, and spits in my face, "This is rubbish, don't you see?! You are no average little girl! You have more potential, more than you know! Dig deep! Find it for me! Have you not wondered why you understand so well? Your friends come to you, when no other will help."

His hooves loudly slapped against the ground as he let my throat free. "Do not act dumb with me! You seek power, but you need not pleasure, but the proud feeling from it. Tell me now that you are not respected. Your life, too valuble, has just now started. Take your time young one, you will soon see, for your wisdom is old, but not older than me."

The Fawn walked circles of age around me, making it effortly hard to breathe. "Take this message, I give you, see it true. For I am the only father to you. Son of earth, water, wind, and fire. Spirit channels to me through you, and it burns with fire's desire."

I gasped with desbeilief as I learn that what he speaks is true, he is my life essence, the one I am greatfull to. So I rise to my feet, a proud and strong Warrior. "To you, Fawn, I swear a dept of life, for if I die, I will find your light. In my path, I will be thy sight. Sworn to you, for the rest of my time, Fawn oh hear me, for I am sworn to your rights."

With one loud and mighty howl, the wolf in me began to seek the moon. Forever sworn to my Fawn, forever his dept I will make due.
