The days started to blend together. With just a pinch of effort Veemon was able to keep up on daily activates. Veemon knew he wasn't ready for something as real as a relationship. Monodramon brought Impmon into what looked like the guys bathroom.

The doors opened again and this time Dorumon came in with Gabumon.

Scourge turned back as Gabumon said, "Oh no you don't. You have to fight me first."

Scourge asked, "I recall sending you to the hospital, was it not clear that you don't stand a chance against me?"

Gabumon said, "I'm not about to let you to hurt my friend."

Scourge said, "I thought you despised homosexuals such as him."

Veemon gulped but then Dorumon quickly said, "This place only smells of beer. From I can tell Veemon could have been with anyone in the bar."

Scourge said, "You're games don't amuse so well. I only have one objective but since this is getting out of hand I'll let it slid. After all I still have dignity when it at least comes to fighting. But I assure you that the threats have just begun."

Scourge walked passed Gabumon and Dorumon leaving the tavern.

Gabumon said, "I can't believe that guy, strolling in here like he owns the place and making all these crazy accusations."

Dorumon said, "You should be glad he didn't challenge you again. There's no way you've could have beaten a guy like him. On the plus side you'd have the concerned Amy looking after you almost unconscious body again."

Gabumon asked, "Do you really think Veemon would stand a better chance?"

Dorumon said, "No, that's why he's not going to."

Gabumon asked, "Then who's gonna stop this guy?"

Dorumon said, "I really wouldn't know."

Veemon would continue to hold up his secret away from Gabumon and didn't confront Scourge either. His concern or his own self being made it harder to sleep with Monodramon or in some cases even sleep at all. Veemon would push himself away from his friends once more to avoid Scourge pulling them into the threat. After school one day Veemon went to the tavern as he still resided their ever night but he had saw both Monodramon and Tikal outside mourning as the saw their tavern burned to the ground. A large crowd of Digimon who usual went there was also gathered around. Veemon couldn't believe that Scourge who go this far. The crowed started to look as the voices echoed the loudest.

Impmon had now known about the tavern and was hoping to meet Monodramon there. He kept going and went right passed Scourge. Scourge grabbed his neck and started to choke him. Scourge went behind Impmon almost using him like a shield. Everyone started to panic. Most of the class mates were there as well.

The tavern had been the most visited place so they decided to give Monodramon and Tikal a location closer to school to hold the tavern. Scourge said, "You must have a death wish or something. I give you credit you have a lot of tenacity and heart. You got my respect and that's very hard to do. But I still have match to finish. As soon as Veemon tumbled forward from the lack of balance Scourge gave a huge haymaker right to the center of the head splitting it open letting even more blood escape. Scourge almost rolled out right as about the mat was hit for three. Scourge's had an appalled look as Veemon almost had an upset victory. The crowd went nuts. Never had such a competitor come so close to having such a victory. Veemon rolled back too not letting Scourge lash out. Veemon was starting to get the edge. Scourge had been loosing focus. They both got in. Veemon went for a strike. When Scourge came in to push it away Veemon brought his other hand over and pushed Scourge's hand aside first. Veemon jumped up and shoved Scourge while wrapping his leg around making Scourge fall to the met. Veemon came up and quickly pulled Scourge's let. Veemon turned Scourge of and managed to get the other leg and turned his simple and unorthodox move into the sharpshooter. Scourge was in the center of the ring. Veemon didn't let go of his grip releasing two more just as powerful. Veemon got up as Scourge wobbled to get up. Veemon went for his finishing move again. Veemon came right as Scourge was in the center. Veemon got his head-butt in picture perfect. Scourge attempted to do the same thing as before. Veemon caught on and brought his hands out to block Scourge's hands. He landed then jumped doing a back flip still holding Scourge's hands back and delivered a massive axe kick. Scourge fell. Scourge pushed Veemon down as soon as he released his grip. Scourge crawled over and pinned Veemon, then Veemon cradled Scourge under so that it was Scourge's hands against the mat. The ref counted a three and victory finally held to Veemon as the crowd went wild. It was the biggest come back battle in the history of this school's record. Scourge rolled out of the ring now realizing what kind of fighter Veemon was and why he father had won too. It was Veemon's ability to not just use his heart to come back in to fall for the same mistakes but his rapid ability to learn as the match progressed and find new ways to strike an enemy down. Scourge kept his promise to keep it fair in the ring and let Veemon celebrate.

The next of day school Scourge didn't even come. As Veemon walked around and got many of a good job it was Gabumon who had his eyes on him. Veemon almost passed right by but then Gabumon asked, "So you're not gay right?"

Gabumon looked right passed him to see Gatomon.

Impmon started while talking to Veemon still, "Are you really going too..."

Gabumon got ready cracking his knuckles. Veemon turned back to Gatomon and grabbed her and pulled her away as Agumon was still focused on Dorumon.

Impmon just started crying and ran away.
