Chapter 14: Saviour

Kaze and Xavier both stared at each other. Wind, rain and thunder clapped over head. Xavier's skull mask steamed from the rain as the black flame from his blade sizzled each time a raindrop hit it. Kaze stood motionless watching his tagert stand still.

XAvier smirked under the mask as he suddenly blurred from sight. Kaze looked around and then looked behind him seeing Xaviuer attack with a slash to his chest. Kaze moved just in time as the tip of the blade cut his hoodie, causing it to fall free from his torso to revele a armour that has wires going into his body.

Xavier blinked as he twriled and slashed with his blade, only to hear thunder clash as his blade came in contact with his son's arm blade as well. They both stood on the roof. Both strengths equal as they growled with anger. Kaze smirked and blurred from sight. XAvier blinked as he reacted too slow and felt a slash go over his back. He grunted as he fell over.

"You move so slow old man!" Kaze growled.

Xavier looked over his shoulder and smirked as he thursted his paw out. Kaze grunted being hit from an invisibale force. He flew back into a building and grunted.

" I may move slow. but there are things you don;t understand...boy." Xavier said as he stood up.

Xavier growled as he ran and jumped from the roof and roared as he hit Kaze in the chest with his hind paw. Kaze gasped as he feltr the air from his lungs exit from his lungs. They both crashed into the building, cubicals and file cabnits tumbled and flew out the other side of the office floor. Kaze rolled in a rag doll motion.

Xavier panted as he stood there and chuckled as he looked to his son.

"Must find a way to sever the connection." Xavier thought to himself.

Kaze stood up slowly and spit blood from his muzzle as he smiled. He suddenl;y unsheathed a sword holding it backwards so the blade was pointing backwards. He took a stance holding one hind paw up from the ground. His arm blade up and his sword up as well. Xavier growled as he ran towards Kaze, he snarled as he jumped and came crashing down with his blade. Kaze smirked as he suddenly blocked the blade, twriled and kicked Xavier in the gut.

Xavier grunted as he flew black and hit a colum breaking it in half. He tumbled around and panted as he looked up. Kaze was suddenly over top of him agian. Xavier gasped and was suddenly hit in the face with a kick. He winced and flew back flipping through the air and out the window. He felt the rain and he fell to the street below, he hit with a termendouse force causing the pavement to crater under him.

Johanna looked out the window as she heard the crash and she whimpered. Her kits were whimpered as they cowered under the sofa. She walked over cooing them gently.

"Its okay, come one." Johanna whispered gently.

She hugged them close as she wraped herself and the two kits in the blanket. She huddled in the corner with them. She flicked her ear hearing a beep from one of the screens. She hit the button to a speaker beside her.

"What is it?!" She shouted.

"Mom, its me Kira!" Kira shouted back.

Johanna gasped as she hit the button to unlock the door. The panic room door slowly opened and Kira walked in. Kira smiled as she closed the door behind her, the other kits meeped and ran to their older sister. Johanna smiled as she got up.

"Kira, I have been worried about you." johana said hugging her daughter.

Kire smiled and hugged back. She held her family close as she looked out the window seeing an explosion.

Xavier grunted as he was slammed into the wall by the throat. Kaze snarled as he leaned in close baring his teeth.

"You will never win. I have been programed to destory you. This city and any other city that holds furs." Kaze snarled.

Xavier looked to his son. the mask had been cracked and broken over his right eye. He panted as he then smiled as he kicked hard with his hind paw. Kaze flew back and hit a tanker, Kaze snarled and laned on his feet. Both were panted, blood trickled down there neck from head wounds.

Kaze looked to the tanker then to Xavier as he jumped and kicked the tanker. The large tank of fuel flew towards xavier. Xavier jumped as then Kaze pulled out a large desert eagle and fireed a bullet at the tanker. The tanker exploded and Xavier was engulfed by the flames.

Kaze smiled as he stood there. His eyes watched as he blinked and held the gun up. Seeing Xavier walk out of the flames unharmed. Xavier just laughed as he walked out slwoly.

"Stupid boy, you can't really hurt me." Xavier roared.

Kaze opened fire at Xavier. the bullets seem to swurve off and hit other things. Kaze was paniced now as he emptyed the clip. He then growled as he ran towards Xavier and slashed at him. Xavier simply dodged each swip, his eyes searched for what ever it was that controlled his son. He then spotted it.

Xavier slashed and cut a small wire that connected to his spine. Kaze gasped as he suddenly fell over and panted in the puddle. Xavier blinked as he stood there, he was panted as he then looked up and seemed to relax as then the armour dissappeared and a bright light flew from his body. causing Xaiver to fall to his knees. then another from his head. He then fell to his paws, the two lights swurved and found their mark. Serie and Zak gasped as they awoke from their death. both panted as their throats were healed and they looked to each other.

Xavier panted as the skull mask never faded, his arm blade sheathed its self and he looked to Kaze. Kaze was unconcious and breathing ahrd. The armour on him seem to short circut and burn out, Xavier smiled and fell over from the loss of his power. But he just fell into blackness.

KAze screamed as he awoke and fell off the medical bed and he looked around. He was paniced as he thought he was captured still. Furs rushed in and helped him up. A female vixen smiled.

"Its okay Kaze. Your safe and at home now." She said softly.

Kaze blinked as he nodded and looked around. He then spotted his father laying on a bed across from him. He broke free fromt he furs and rushed over. He looked to his father who was still unconsious, He reached a paw out as he shakingly put it on his fathers shoudler.

Xavier's eyes shot open and he looked over. His red eyes striked a shiver down his son's back as he opened his mouth.

"your okay?" Xavier asked weakly.

"Yeah..I am fine." Kaze said.

"Good.."Xavier said.

KAze smiled as he knelt down and looked to his father. He felt tears well up as he held his fathers paw.

"Thank you for saving me...I knew you would." Kaze said.

Xavier smiled as he sat up slwoly and placed his paw on His son's shoulder.

"Your my boy, I will always protect you and your sister from anything." Xavier said.

Kaze smiled as he nodded and blinked seeing a female bat look at Xavier as she mended his wounds. Xavier winced as he looked over. He was getting stitched up and he just smirked and chuckled slightly.

"What is it?" The female bat asked.

"Never had this done before. I usually drink some blood and my wounds heal up just fine." Xavier said as he smirked to the bat.

The bat blushed as she nodded and ran to a freezer and grabbed a blood packet and handed it to him. Xavier smirked and took it with a wink, causing her to gasp and stand still nervously. Xavier took the blood packet and opened the tube and began to drink. He panted as he drank the whole thing down. His wounds slwoly but quickly healed right infront of Kaze and the female bat. Both blinked shocked and surprised.

"Will my wounds do the same?" Kaze asked.

"No, yours heal just as quick. But with out blood." Xaiver said with a pant. His lips covered in blood.

Kaze blinked as he nodded. He went back to grab his pants and put them on. Just noticing he was in a hospital robe. The bat giggled as she saw Kaze panic to put his pants on. She then gasped seeing Xavier step out his sheath bear and all. She blushed hotly seeing his sheath buldge out. Xavier blinked seeing this and he chuckled.

"Well, I know your enjoying the sight. But may I please have my pants?" Xavier said.

She gasped and grabbed his pants from the shelf to her side and handed them to him. She lowered her head.

"Thank you. But I must ask. How old are you?' Xavier asked.

"eighteen sir." She said with a whimper.

Xavier blinked as he shook his head. " Well I am atleast almost...hmm...atleast two hundred years old." Xavier said looking to the calander.

She blinked and looks to him. " Thats impossible." She said in shock.

"No, not really. I was born almost sixty years ago." Kaze said as he leaned on the wall.

"But you look like your just twenty." She yelled. She meeped and covered her mouth afraid she would make them angry.

Xavier chuckled as he looked to the bat, he ran his paw over her cheek. She shivered and looked to him in the eyes. He just smirked and shook his head.

"Dragons age much slower. I am a half breed but my son will llive longer than me. He has more dragon blood in him then I do." Xavier said as he looked to Kaze.

Kaze rolled his eyes as he walked out to find his way home. He meeped being tackled by his sister who was actually wearing a normal shirt and pants. He blinked and chuckled.

"Hey sis." He said with a slight chuckle.

"your okay!" Kira said gleefully.

"Yes, its over." He said as he kissed her forehead.

Back in the other room Xavier was explaining everything to the bat as he then walked out. with her.

"You see I have been alive and was at the war with the humans." He said to her.

She gasped as she shook her head." That was like....almost a hundred years ago."

"yes, but I had saved the city from a complet lock down from the humans." He smiled

Xavier was about to say another but he stoped as he spotted johanna sitting there with Zak. Zak blinked as he nodded, Xavier returned the nod as he let the bat go get her things. Johanna Looked up and walked over and placed her paw on his cheek. Xavier closed his eyes and held his daughters paw to his cheek.

" I can;t beleive your actually here." She said.

"I can;t beleive it either Hun." Xavier said as he looked to his daughters eyes. "So, you and Zak huh?" He said.

Johanna lowered her ears and nodded. She was wearing a purple dress and lowered her head.

"Yeah, for the past ten years. He and I were dating the first five. Then went and got married. It was ahrd to let you go...but...I spent ten years crying and well...Kaze and Kira both went to do their own thing." Joanna said with a smile.

"Yeah I kinda figured that out." Xavier said as he sighed. "Well you should go and make sure everything is alright."

"Your not stayuing?" She asked.

"no, I can;t. I got to find out what the humans are planing." He said as he smiled.

"Alright, will you be back?" She said as she hugged him and nuzzled his chest.

Xavier sighed as he held her close and kissed her ear. She whimpered and shivered.

"I am not sure." Xavier said with a heavy sigh.

KAze and Kira both looked over and placed a paw on ther mothers shoudlers. Johanna looked abck and hugged them tightly.

" I am glad to have you both back now!" She said with tears.

" we are to. But we want your permission to go with father." They both said.

Johanna blinked and looked at them. The back at Xavier.

" No.." Xavier said.

"Why not!" Kaze growled.

Because.." Xavier was to explain but an explosion was heard.

Xavier growled and blurred from sight as he appear outside. He saw in the distance lights. He snarled abit, hearing another loud gun shot. The large bullet was aimed right at Xavier and he grunted as he twriled and grabed the large bullet and hurled it back. As he stood there. Zak, serie, kira and Kaze all stood there.

"Sir! they are all outside the building!" A soilder shouted.

"Good, Fire!" The sergant shouted.

Suddenly a wall of missles, tank bullets and rifle bullets were heading for them all.

"Looks like we're at it again. Like old times eh?" Zak said to xavier.

Xavier smiled and unsheathed his blade. " Sure thing."
