This short story is about to bros and one of them realizes he might be falling in love with his bro.
The long Departure

-Schools out-
The bell rang. "Finally schools out, I wonder what my bro is doing." Kory said.
Kory began to walk home which was only like a 10 to 15min walk. He began humming a tune that his bro got stuck in his head. Five mins later he was home. The door clicked and it swung open.
"How was school?" Scotty asked.
"It was boring and lonely as usual bro." Kory replied with a sad face.
"Hey c'mon I would love to be with you but I joined the navy." Scotty said.
Kory and Scotty hardly got to spend time together and they love each other very much as bros. Kory wish his bro wasn't leaving next week.
"I wish you didn't have to go on that long departure next week I am going to miss you." Kory said.
"Me too bro." Scotty said.
They hugged each other for a while Kory cried on Scotty's shoulder.
"Hey bro why you crying?" Scotty asked.
"I don't want you to leave it would feel like I've just been dumped." Kory said.
"Don't be ridiculous Kory your 18 im sure you'll be fine." Scotty said.
The thing is Kory has actual feelings for his bro that he is scared that Scotty might leave him forever. Kory smiled and was thinking.
"God damn it why do I have to be in love with you bro, you have always been there for me."
"Hey bro listen to me before I leave next week we are going to have the time of our lives as bros just us and only us, what do you say?" Scotty said.
"Sounds great!" Kory said and thought...
"Does he have feelings for me as well 
is it going to be a date?" Kory smiled happily, just have to wait and see.
-The day before the departure-
Scotty was already up before his bro and he began to pack his things for his long departure tomorrow. Scotty finished packing and went to Kory's room. He stood at the doorway smiling and whispering...
"Oh Kory I am sure looking forward to our day today, be up soon... I love you bro." Scotty said as he kissed Kory on the lips.
Kory smiled in his sleep and continued to sleep. Two hours later Kory entered the kitchen to the smell of breakfast.
"Smells good bro." Kory said happily.
"You've always had a thing for my cooking." Scotty said and smiled.
Kory smiled and sat down at the table near his bro.
"It was weird last night." Kory said with a pause.
"what was?" Scotty asked.
"well I had a dream you kissed me in the lips while I was sleeping." Kory blushed.
Scotty blushed and said.
"I think you are taking this departure too seriously bro."
Kory laughed and said.
"Yeah its silly in my dream it felt so real, like you actually did kiss me."
Scotty blushed more and said.
"How 'bout we get this day started, what you say?"
"You bet!" Kory smiled and nodded.
They bother got into the car and left to downtown.
"So bro where do you want to go?" Scotty asked and held Kory's paw.
"Im up for anywhere." Scotty said and smiled.
Kory blushed as Scotty grabbed his paw.
"umm how bout the beach hardly anybody goes there it will just be us bros." Kory said.
"Sounds great!" Scotty smiled.
They arrive at the beach and like Kory said there is no one in sight. They set up they're umbrella, chairs, and towels.
"What a wonderful day to go swimming." Kory said as he took off his shirt and shorts leaving a speedo on. Scotty was blushing and replied.
"Sure is a wonderful day." He began taking off his shirt as he felt paws halfway up his chest.
"Let me help you." Kory said as he took off Scotty's shirt.NJ "Do you want me to help you with your shorts?" Kory asked.
"No... I...I'm fine." Scotty said stuttering.
"Thanks though." Scotty said
Kory sat on the shore with his hind paws in the water. Scotty sat next to him and cuddled with him.
"You alright bro?" Scotty asked
Kory smiled and said. "Its nothing."
Scotty nuzzled kory and said. "I love you bro and I was thinking to cancel the departure."
"What?!, Why?" Kory was in shock.
"Well the truth is..... I kinda don't want to leave someone who is in love with me." Scotty said blushing.
Kory was silent for a while then said.
"How did you know and how long have you known?" Kory was surprised.
"Well it was silly, but after a while I started having feelings for you as well."
"Your serious!" Kory said in shock.
"Yeah I kissed you last night it was no dream." Scotty said.
"Wow we never knew we both had feelings for each other." Kory said.
"Since I already cancelled me long departure how about we go on a long departure." Scotty said happily.
"I'd love to bro." Kory said happily.
They both happily kissed and left on there departure.
-3 days later-
During they're trip together they were included in a car crash, they were hit by a drunk driver that was heading home from a party, Kory and Scotty both died instantly. When authorities arrested the drunk driver and looked at the wreckage Scotty and Kory were still holding each others paws
