Monika Ramirez Chapter 3
#3 of Monika Ramirez
Hello again >^.^<
So this is chapter three. I think this is going to break into a total of 5 Chapters. I will admit, this cuts off in a weird spot, but that's okay. I did up the rating because things get really dark from here, if it hasn't already. Anyway, enjoy!

It had been three months since her move. She was happy in her new place, and she hadn't thought about Rodolpho in six weeks. Work was going well, she and Antonio had quite the stack of cases to work through, so the money was good. Monika had made few friends, though she hadn't really been trying. She had mostly been spending time with Antonio, both at the office and at home.
They were working on a particularly hard case when her cousin came into the living room with a pair of coffee cups. He sat on the edge of the chair, the same spot he had been in all night. Trial was coming up and they needed to be ready. Monika ran her hand through her hair, closing her eyes. This was a tough one.
"We are never going to get this done." She spoke, discouraged.
"Sure we will." Antonio smiled up at her. "It will be a piece of cake when we get it organized." He sipped at his coffee and tried to sound optimistic.
"We have been at this all night already." Monika growled down at the paperwork, her tail twitching angrily. Her cousin sighed.
"You know what." He spoke, setting his cup down on the table. "We need a break. We can clear our heads, and we can get a fresh start in the morning." She looked up at him curious. "We haven't been out in weeks. There is a new club in town, just opened up." Her eyes started to brighten. "Lets go." Monika was ecstatic. The chance to get out and have a good time, a couple drinks. This was just what the doctor ordered.
"Sure." She grinned. "Lets do it." She stood, heading to her bedroom. "I'm just going to change cloths." Antonio smiled, sitting back in the chair.
"Take your time, cousin. I'm in no hurry, and it's my treat tonight, okay? Everything on me." He watched her bounce into her room, returning later dressed in a mini skirt, low cut dress shirt and platform heals.
"I'm ready." She smiled and turned around completely.
"You look lovely as always." He stood and kissed her cheek, taking her hand. "Lets go.
They walked through the door of the club together, laughing and beaming. This new place was packed already, lights shining, music thumping, crowd dancing. It was just what they needed. Some place to unwind, and a place to have a little fun. Antonio went to the bar to order them drinks, Monika made her way to the dance floor.
She had several partners immediately. Her hips did all the talking, and they were screaming for a good time. She kept her eyes mostly closed, moving to the rhythm and beat of the music, not caring about the lyrics. The music lived inside her, bouncing around and using her movements as their outlet. The crowd had parted around her as she moved, leaving her inside a circle of onlookers, dance partners moving in and out as she rejected them.
As the beat changed, Monika felt a familiar touch on her waist. Her eyes shot open, expecting to look up into Antonio's eyes. Instead, her eyes met the familiar golden ones of Rodolpho. He smiled down at her, pulling her in closer until their bodies moved as one, pressed close enough together it was as if they were making love on the dance floor.
"Hello, pussy cat." He spoke smoothly, his accent as sultry and sexy as she remembered. "Long time no see." Monika pulled away quickly. She threw her hands up, knocking him away from her at the same time.
"What are you doing here?" She spat.
"I'm looking for you," He took a step towards her. "I'm looking for my princess. I told you I would be here."
"I broke up with you. I left you, Rodolpho. I don't want you around." For every step towards her he took, she took one more step backwards.
"I know you didn't mean it baby. I know you were just angry." His eyes were pleading, his voice sexy. He knew how to push her buttons and he did it well.
"I meant every word, Rodolpho. You changed. There was something wrong about you. There still is." She put her paws out in front of her, blocking him.
"I made a mistake. A stupid decision when I cheated on you. I thought I could do better then you. I thought, but I know now I was wrong. You are the best, Monika my pet, no one is better then you."
"I- You cheated on me?!" Monika shook her head in disbelief. "You are going to admit this to me now and expect me to take you back?! Get out of here Rodolpho."
The exchange was starting to draw a lot of attention. Even Antonio, who had been flirting with three women all at once, was taking notice. He hadn't seen the large panther come into the club, and he knew there was going to be trouble. Monika needed to get out of there and fast. Antonio started looking for the nearest exit, the quickest rout to take his cousin to safety.
"I have every right to be here Monika." He stepped towards her again. "Why don't you come and have coffee with me, pussy cat? Let's talk this out. We never used to fight worse then we could talk out." He stepped forward again. "Please, give me a chance to explain."
Monika stepped back and found herself against the wall. She wasn't sure when or how she had backed herself into the corner, but she wasn't happy about it. She knew this wasn't going to end well. Her ears pressed back against her hair, and she looked down at the floor.
"Please leave me alone." She whispered. Her voice was barely there, and she wasn't even sure Rodolpho could hear her. All she wanted was to be left alone, to be back in her apartment preparing for the case at hand. She didn't want to be here, she especially didn't want to be alone with Rodolpho. He had been drinking. She could smell it on his breath. This couldn't end well.
"Let's go pussy cat." He knew he had her trapped. Stepping forward, he placed an arm around her waist and guided her towards the door. She looked around panicked, looking for Antonio. Where had he gotten off to. "We are going to talk."
"Let me go!" Monika struggled, trying to make it obvious to anyone around that he was taking her against her will. "I don't want to talk to you anymore! Get away from me." Her voice was starting to rise again, and she was contemplating using her claws.
"Hush now little kitty." Rodolpho placed a paw over her mouth and growled in her ear. "Don't make a scene. Everything will be fine." He started leading her towards the door, and she felt the tears rolling down her face. She tried to scream but her voice was muffled by the paw. Panic started to fill her head as the got closer and closer to the exit. Antonio was still nowhere to be seen.
Pushing through the crowd, Monika was forced to the door, Rodolpho urging her forward. She wanted to get away, wanted nothing more then to run screaming into the night. Everything was starting to rush around her while she felt like she was moving in slow motion. Before she knew it she was in the passenger seat of a car, Rodolpho driving, and someone else behind her. She wasn't sure how many people were in the back seat, but the feeling that this wasn't going to end well was growing inside her and she started to tremble.
"Why are you shaking, pussy cat?" Rodolpho smiled and she sank further into the seat. "You have nothing to fear." He started to laugh as he whipped out into traffic and sped away from the club. The tears continued to pour down Monika's face.
