Memories of the Past - Zack´s Story

It was in the early Morning after they both have had their First Time. Zack woke up first and at First Hand he didn´t know where he was but then all was coming into his mind as he looked over to Tessa sleeping Peacefully. He looked at her and smiled.

Somehow she looked more Beautiful to me than Yesterday. He thought to himself. Then he decided to surprise her with some Berries for Breakfast and so he Left the cave so silently that you could just have heard a pin fall. Once he was out he runs as fast as he could to the Place where he found some Berries Yesterday. There he collects as many as he could carry. Maybe too much but he doesn´t care. When he got back in the cave Tessa was still sleeping. He made all ready for Breakfast and then he slowly walks forwards her.

„ Oh look at the Sleepy Queen of my Dreams. Hey Sweety, wake up or you might miss something. " He said and then Kisses her.

She slowly opens her Eyes and was a little disoriented. Then Zack asks „ Have you slept well my Love? "

„ Yahn. Yeah but I think it was a kind too long for me. " She said Sleepdrunk.

„ Well then I have the right Thing to wake you up. Here eat this. "

He gave her an Orange Berry and she ate it all in one. Then she starts to tremble.

„ Gasp, Pant, Gasp. What was that Berry. It´s so bitter. " She said with her Tongue out.

„ Haha. Sorry. It was a Leechy Berry. You were just so tired that I have no other choice to do it. " Zack said with a Bright smile on his Face.

„ OH.YOU.... Wait till I get you. " She said and grabs his Body.

„ Haha... I´ll give up. You got me. " Zack smiled into Tessas Face and she smiled back and said „ Never do this again Honey will ya? "

„ OK I´ll Promise TO DO it again sometimes. " Zack laughed out loud.

„ Heh. You little Kid head.... HAHA. " Tessa laughed loud too because Zack was tickling her Side.

„ Ok.OK. Stop. Haha. Do you always get what you will, my Love? " She asks.

„ Nope, not always but many Times. " Zack Answered.

„Well then are you Hungry, Honny? He asks.

„ Yes I am. I feel like that I can eat an Ursaring. " She said back.

„ Then Follow me, please. " He said and they both get up.

They walked out of the Cave and then Tessa saw what Zack had made for Breakfast.

On a Snag were standing two Woodglasses, two plates on each side of it and in the middle was a Wood bowl full of Berries.

„ You made it all up for me? " She asks.

„ Yup. It was one of my Hobbies in the Past. I were... was very good at it. " He said with his Head going down a Bit. A Flash Memory comes up in his mind of an accident with a Tree....

„Why are you looking so sad hun? " Tessa asks ending his memory.

„ Ah nothing. Oh see. The Sun goes up. Quickly please sit down. „ He said.

„ Ok but why so fast? " She asks.

„ I will tell you but please, sad down. " He just said.

The Sun goes up to wake more and more Pokemon that starts to fly or ran around and in the middle of the sun was Tessa, covered in a soft red light.

„ Oh man, You are looking so ... so... I cannot tell in Words how Good you look, My Mate. " Zack said while holding her Hand. „ You must know I dreamed about it. You, the sun, the Pokemon. All was looking so real to me that I just have had to make it real. "

She just sits there and looked at him with a Red Blush on her Head.

„Well. Thank You. " She only said not aware of what was coming next.

Zack turned her Hand and put something on her Finger. Then he asks „ Tessa. Will you Marry me? And be my Mate for Lifetime? "

Tessa was shocked when she Heard that. Did he really ask me? Did he really ask me? Her Thoughts were running wild but then She said „Y... Yes... I will. „ She said and kisses him.

They were standing there kissing for about Three Minutes but for them it was just like Hours. Then suddenly they both felt a strange Pain in their arms. Zack in his Right and Tessa in her left. The Pain faded after a Few minutes and they were looking at their arms with a confused look. A Mark looking like a Crown has shown on their arms.

„ What could this mean? " Tessa asks.

„ I don´t know... „ Suddenly another memory was coming up his mind. He saw that Sign but only bigger on an another Arm holding his. But his Hand was so little and who was this Person. Suddenly the look went up and he could see who it was. _ Papa. Is that really you. Papa.. Papa..._ The Memory faded.

„ Heh are you ok? There is something that bothers you right? " Tessa asks helpfully.

„ Yeah. " Zack only said.

„ What is it? Please tell me. Don´t hide anything from me. "

„ I can´t. "

„ Please!!! "

„ I said I can´t " he said out a little bit louder.

Tessa starts to cry a bit.

„ OH no. I´m sorry. I´m so sorry. Please don´t cry. I don´t like it when you Cry. I will tell you . But not now. First please Trust me. But put a Bandage on that sign. Will ya? " Zack asks playfully.

„ Sniff. OK I will. " She just said.

„ Second I must ask you something. "

„Ask. "

„ Is your Town near here? "

„ Not very. It´s a 2 Day walk from here. Why you ask? "

„Well, when I Marry you don´t you think it´s better to know your Parents. Don´t you think? "

„ Well you got the Point. Ok lets go then but first we will have Breakfast. OK? "

„ Good Idea. My Stomach feels empty like a Howl. "

And so they eat their Breakfast. They Ate a lot but kept some Berries aside as Proviant. At Midday they start to go. They were walking through the woods without saying a word. Then Zack suddenly asks „ In which direction we have to go? "

„ straight ahead only. You cannot miss my Town. The Town is laying down under a castle ruin, which was earlier the home of Our King. " She said.

„ The King.... " Another memory shows up. It was again a Memory of his Father sitting in a Big Chair and wearing a Crown on his Head.

„ Hey. Wake up. " Tessa said but to late. Zack rams his Head right into a Tree.

„ AAAAAUUUUUUUUEEEEEEE. „ Zack said while Tessa left with a Paw in her mouth.

„ SSSSNNNNNNNN... Did it hurt? "

„ Yeah. But laughing at me hurts more. "

„ Sorry, but now I have it paid back. "

„What? "

„ Your joke. Have you forgotten that? " She said while pointing at his Head and laughs.

„ HAHA. VERY FUNNY. "

„ One stands clear. "

„ What? "

„ With you, the days will never get bored. HAHA. "

„ Oh YOU.. Wait till I get you. "

„ Catch me If you can. " She said and runs off.

„Oh wait not fair. OK YOU ASK FOR IT. " He said and begins to hunt her.

They were running a while. Zack gave his best but she was everytime a bit faster than him. Not to mention that she was playing with him a bit.

Dammit. She is faster than me. I Have completely forgotten that I´m no more a Guardian with my Powers. UFFF. I can´t hold this speed much longer but I don´t want to lose. OH Dammit if I only had my Powers. He though not recognizing that the mark on his hand had begun to glow white. Within seconds he runs faster and faster and then catches her. They both landed hard on their shoulders. Or even just Zack because he protected her fall.

„ Are you alright , Honny? " She asks

But he just said „gotcha ." With a smile on his face.

„ You will never change will ya, Kid head? " She said happily.

„Nope. But I guess that we just take a little break to recover ourselfs . " He said.

„ Yeah. " She said „ but why you were suddenly so fast? "

„I don´t know. Really. I was just thinking of catching you and then I Had you. It was just like I have become my Guardian Powers back for a second. "

„ Hmmm your Powers back? As you mention it. What Powers you have had back there ? "

„ Well it was first that Power that you have seen. Silence.´´ Then another power was Hyper Speed and my last Power was Power reserve pared with a dark Ball. "

„ Oh a Combination. If I only have seen one. "

„ Well sorry but that Seviper was not worth the work. "

„ I agree. Here eat a Berry so that the Pain goes away. " She said smiling.

They sat there a while and eat the last Berries.

„ Oh man. I was hoping that it holds till tomorrow. Dammit. Now we have to seek some other Berries. " Zack said.

„ Don´t worry , Hun. On our last stop for Today there are many bushes with Berries. Trust me. "

„ Ok. Got your Word. " Zack said and slowly got up to his feet.

„ Are you feeling good? " Tessa asks.

„ Yeah but first we have to go slowly please. " Zack said with a little sound of Pain in it.

„ It´s ok. It´s not far from here anyway. "

„ Good. Lead the way my Queen. "

„ HEH. How many times I should tell you that you don´t call me that? " She said laughing.

„ Just one more Time, Tessa, just one more time. "

And so they went on. After an Hour they arrived at a Fallen Tree. Zack looked at it and thought this Tree looks like the same one in my memory. Then suddenly another memory appeared but this time it was hurting him.

„ AH NO. OH MY HEAD.AH " he screams out.

„ My Love what is it? "

„ I don´t know there´s a memory inside my Head hurting me Terrible. "

„Tell me what can you see? " But he didn´t answer. He couldn´t tell her what he saw. He saw the Fallen Three in a Rainy night and there was laying something under the Tree. He looked closer and then got shocked. His Minds began to race in his Head. That was him. That was the Accident where he died.

„ NO, PLEASE, STOP. I DON´T WANT TO SEE THAT!!! " He Cries out loud and then the Memory was gone. He kneels near the Tree and starts to Cry so Deeply that even Stones have become Break. Tessa just knees beside him and sad „ Let it out Hunny, Hold me if You want to! "

After he heard this Zack holds her Tight and Cries into her shoulder. They just Knee there for about 5 min. Then Zack Highers his Head and whispered into Tessas ear „Thank you my love. Thank You that you are here for me. "

„ We´re else I should be than by your side. Will you tell me what you saw? I don´t mention it when not. "

„ I will tell you but please can we go to the LAST STOP. It´s already getting dark. "

„ OK. It´s just a few feet away. " She said and starts to go.

Zack stands up and looked to the Tree. He touches the place where his Body was laying in his memory and then goes off to.

After a Few Minutes later they arrived at a little Lake with a Waterfall on one Side.

„ The Dancing Waters. " Zack said.

„ Yep. How did you know them? " Tessa asks.

„ I will tell you when we are in the Cave up there. "

„ How did you know that there is a cave? " She asks more confused.

„ I Will tell you but please hurry. It´s starting to rain. " Zack said running or more going a little Bit faster.

Once they have entered the Cave it starts to rain heavily. The Two we´re sitting with other Pokemon around a little Fire that a Charmander had made. They were just sitting and looking into the Fire. Then Zack starts to speak.

„ Do you really wanted to hear what happens back out there by the Tree? "

„Yes please. Tell me! " Tessa answered.

„ Well then. You already know that I Died 100 Years ago. Right? "

„ Yep. You told me that. "

„ But you don´t know that I Died in a terrible Accident with that Tree we saw there. "

„ Really?... OH that´s why you cried. "

„ Yeah. I Have stored that Memory and the Pain in the deeper side of my head and already forgotten it but when I saw the Tree it was all coming back to my mind. "

„ I´m sorry to hear that. " Tessa said with a low voice.

„ No, No. You don´t have to. It was only a matter of time when it has to come back. " He said holding her close.

„ So, will you tell me what happened in the Past? " She asks more silently.

„ Yes I will. " Zack said and kisses her so that she was a little bit happier.

„ But please just listen and do not say a word, please. I don´t like to remember that Day. "

100 Years in the Past

„ It all Begins at a Sunny Midday in Springtime just like this Time now. " Zack starts to Remember the his Past.

„It was right after school and I was walking Home with my best Friend Tallan, another Zangoose Male within my Age and Class. The Hole Day I was in a Bad mood and Tallan tried his Best to Cheer me up. "

„ Hey my Friend. Why so Pissed. Be happy because today is your Lucky Day. " Tallan said.

„Lucky? I don´t think so!!! " Zack answered in a Bad Voise.

„ Hey, if I were in your Position I would be happy on my Birthday. "

„ Normally yes, but not today. If you have forgotten that I have to choose a Girl to be my Future Mate today? "

„ Yeah a Girl... " Tallan starts to think of a special one to him.

„ So why you are so upset then? " Tallan ask.

„ Actually there is one Fact that I can´t ignore. All the Girls I have seen were only interested on my Money or my Title. Not me. So I can´t choose one. "

„Why not? "

„ I will only marry a Girl that only wanted me and not anything else. "

„ I KNOW!!! " Zack said angry hitting the Wall with his Paw Hard.

„ OK.OK. I´d been just a thought. Come down. Anyways what do think about me and.... "

„ I SAID NO GIRLS!!!! "Zack shouted out loud and turns around quickly. Then it happened. He hit Tallan unprepared in the Face and he falls backwards. He hit the Floor hard with his Head and starts bleeding. He just lies there and didn´t move. Zack was just standing there and didn´t believe what just has had happen. DID this really happened? Oh God what have I done? I..I... KILLED MY BEST FRIEND. NNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! Zack thought and runs away.

„ I was just running. I just wanted to go away. Away from all. Then it starts to rain just like now. I decided to seek a Hideout to Relax. Then I found that Lake and the Cave where we were just in. After a while of watching the Waterfall I decided to name him. The Name I carve into this Stone right up there. " Dancing Waters´´. Then I just sit there again and watched the rain fall. My thoughts were running in all directions until my father suddenly appeared in front of me. "

„ Hallo there son ." The King said. „ Come Home with me, it´s getting cold out here. "

„ No, please let me here. I don´t want to go back. " Zack said crying.

„ Heh. Come on. All are fine with your friend and I managed to Vanish this old Rule. "

„ Really? " Zack asks. " You are not lying? "

„ Why should I Lie when it´s all true. " The King said while holding Zack close.

Zack starts crying like a Baby for about 5 min. Then he slowly got up and said in a low Voice „ Let us go Papa. "

„ OK. But wait. Take this over because we both did not want to get ill or do you wanted the be healed by your mother. You know she enjoys to Penetrate us. "

„ Yeah I know. " Zack said smiling. And then they went home. Halfway home suddenly a Flash hit a Tree and the Tree starts to fall. Zack realized it first and jumps aside. His father was not that fast and so Zack decided to Tackle him. He uses all of his Power and Tackels him so heavy that his father flies forward. He was safe but for a high Price. The Tree hit Zack hard and broke his neck. He was laying there and could not move.

„ OH NO SON! " The King shouted out loud. "Come one please, move! "

„ I... can´t. " Zack pants and spilled out some Blood.

„ OK Hold on. I get some help. " Said the King and runs away. Zack wanted to hold him back but he couldn´t do anything anymore. He slowly went to sleep and died a lonely death.

„ I don´t know how but suddenly I stand above my Body and watched it. I Was just thinking if it was real. I was able to move without any Pain. Then my father came back with some others to help me. I ran to them and said „father I´m here, I´m okay " but then he just ran through me and didn´t see me. He sat down on the Tree and said something to me but I ... DIDN´T ANSWER. He said „Come on wake up, wake up. No please don´t die. NNOOOOO. " Then I realized that I have died and starts to cry heavily.

After a while all the men left with my Body on their shoulders. I start to follow them but suddenly something grapped my shoulder. A man was standing behind me.

„ Don´t go with them. There is only Pain awaits you. " The unknown man said.

„ Let me go. I want to go with them.

„ AH. Well then I warned you. " The man said and disappears.

Zack starts to run. Within minutes he arrived at the village and saw the men just walking into the town. He runs and wanted to enter the village but was suddenly held back by an Invisible Wall.

„ Open that Wall. Let me inside, Please let me see my family!!! " Zack said crying.

Then that man appeared suddenly in front of him.

„I Told you that. Remember. " The man said. „ Here you find only Pain. "

„ How can I end this? Please help me! " Zack Pleaded.

„ Come with me. I show you the way. " The man said and so they start walking.

„ By the way? " Zack asks. " What´s your name? "

„ The name is Rafael. Archangel of our Gods. " He said.

„ What an Archangel? Do you normally not collect lost souls and send them? "

„ Well yes but how do you know who I am and what I´m doing. "

„ In my town stands an old Tempel and I have managed to read the Old Speak on the Walls so I learned much about our old Gods. "

„ Heh. Don´t call them old will ya. They don´t like to hear that. And to answer your question. Yes normally I do not collect Souls but sometimes I want to do that because it´s boring to sit and wait for a job. "

„ A so that´s why. "

„ So we have arrived. Here we are my Lord. You commanded it and I bring him here. "

Zack looks into the air and then see Arceus. God of Living and Death.

„ When your Parents will die you are not Allowed to see them or to bring them to me. Understood! " Arceus said out loud.

Zack Cries even more but then he said „ I accept it. "

„ Well then. " Arceus said. " Rafael, this Boy is now under your sight. He will live with you and goes on Missions with you first then he will have his Guardian training with another Trainer. "

„With me? Cannot someone other can do it, please? " Rafael said.

„ Do you want to disgust my orders with me? " Arceus said Eyes turning red.

„ No, No.OK, ok. Ill take the Boy with me. Oh man. Why I everytime. "

„ Because you are the best and besides you accepted the Boys Help plead. So you have no other choice. Have a nice Day you too. Hehe. " Arceus smiled somehow and disappeared.

„OK. Zack come with me. " Rafael said.

„ OK. I´ll come. "

„ That was a good number of you. And that old man has fallen for it. " Then suddenly a little Flash hit his hind. „ I Have heard that Rafael. One sat more and you take the complete Training. " Arceus said from somewhere.

„ OK .Sorry. I will not say something more. Old Idiot. "

Zap

Another Flash hit him.

„ Thanks. You are making now his complete Training. You blooming Idiot. "

„Ha. Old fool. Ouch. "

„ Why you are doing that? " Zack asks.

„ Because it´s funny to nerve this old cracker. OUCH. Hey! Not that High Volts. OUCH. My ass is burning you...? "

„Oh sorry to hear that. Here let me give you some water. "

„What. NO. Bbbbrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrlllllllllluppppp. " A Heavy waterfall was falling on him.

„HAHAHAHA. You look good. HAHAHA. " Arceus and Zack laughed.

„ Zack. " Arceus said.

„ That was your first lesson. Just be happy everytime and the Pain goes away. Oh and that smell of Rafael goes too. "

„ What should that bring? That´s only fun for me because you will lose within 10 seconds and I still have other work to do. See ya. " Arceus says and fades away.

„ Ok then. I made the mistake and will take the Punismend, so let us start your lessons tomorrow. Ok? "

„ OK. " Zack said smiling. And so they went on.

Coming back to Present

„And so I started the training as a Guardian. I learned much about it within many Years and after a while the Gods made me their First Guardian. All was fine at sight but in my Heart I felt only empty and lonely. But then I found the most beautiful Girl in the world. Laying on a lonely Lake. Lonely with her own Problems, just like me. The rest you already know. " Zack said with a tear in his eyes.

„Sniff. " Tessa starts. „ I haven´t even thought of such a tragedy. I feel so sorry just for asking you to tell me! "

„Hey. Stop. I said you don´t have to my Love and besides now my Heart feels much better when I told you my Story. " Zack said while he lick´s her Face clean from her Tears.

„ I know. I can see it in your Face and somehow I can feel it. " Tessa said looking into his Eye´s.

Then suddenly they both felt the Pain from their Marks coming back again but this time more Heavily.

„ Ouch!!! Why is this Mark hurting so much? " Tessa asks in Pain.

„ I don´t know. " Zack answered.

The Pain grows up and suddenly the bandages, hiding the Marks, were burned away. The Marks where Glowing white like pure light and slowly starts to surround them with a white Aura. Once the Aura was completed they both disappeared. The other Pokemon in the Cave where just looking in Disbelief but then one of them said „ I don´t know what have happened but that Mark on their Arms means only one thing! "

„ What? " Another one ask.

„That Mark means that the prophecy had finally come true. "

Zack and Tessa we´re teleportet to an unknown Place.

„ Where are we? " They both ask.

„ Right where you now belong! " A Voice said behind them.

Tessa turned her Head to look where the Voice was coming from but Zack didn´t. He was sitting there with his Eye´s wide open.

Could that be? That Voice? Could that really be him? Zack thought when he got up and turns around.

„ Well meet my Son. It´s been a Long time! " A man said to him while the man was holding the Hand of a Female.

„ For me it was kind of too long. " The female said.

Zack was only standing there and starts to cry again.

„What´s wrong Zack? " Tessa asks worried.

But Zack didn´t answer. Instead he runs to the two and holds them close.

„sniff. Sniff. I missed you, Mama, Papa. Sniff. Sniff. " Zack managed to say between Tears.

„ What a greeting. Tears. Is it normal to great his Parents with Tears? " His father asks.

„ I´m Sorry. Sniffs. I didn´t want to but I , Sniff, can´t stop them coming. "

„ It´s ok. My son. " His mother said. „ We missed you too. "

After some minutes of silence his father starts to speak. „ Well, well. You have been growing up since I saw you last Time. "

„ Don´t that have to be? Besides you saw me 100 Years ago last time. "

„ Oh! Was it really that long? "

„ Yes. Hahaha. " They both began to Laugh.

„And who´s that little Girl that stands up there? "

„ Oh sorry. Where are my manners? Mother, Father this is Tessa. My Mate and Future Wife. "

„ Nice to meet you my King and Queen. " Tessa said and starts to Knee.

„ No.No stop Kneeing. You are part of the family now so please stand up. " The King said. „ and besides don´t call us King and Queen. Call us mother and father, please. "

„ If that´s your wish I will accept it my Ki... I mean father. "

„ Good. Now that´s done let me speak some words with my son alone, will ya? " The King asks.

The Two Girls just smiled and walked a few steps away. Then Zack said „ I have to apologize to you. "

„ No you don´t have to! "

„ But what have happened at that Tree... " Zack was interrupted by his father.

„ I said you don´t have to. Instead I have to apologize for what I have done to you. If I have told you that I have changed the Rules one Day before your Birthday you maybe not have died. " The King said with a low Voice.

„ I Forgive you father. Besides if you have told me that, I have never met Tessa. " Zack said with one Paw on the Kings shoulder.

„ Yeah your right. And let me say that you made a wonderful choice. I´m very Proud of you. "

„ Thanks. That means a lot to me. "

Meanwhile by the Girls

„ So you are the Mate of my son. " The Queen said. „ Please tell me what you think of him. "

„ First I thought that he is one like the others but then... I don´t know. All changed suddenly. " Tessa said blushing red.

„ Ok let me ask otherwise. What do you like or maybe dislike about him? "

„Dislike... maybe his childness but on other Hand I like it. "

„ I see. So Raphael did a good job of training him. "

„ Did you expect something other ? " A man´s Voice said behind them.

„ From you ? No Rafael. And now go elsewhere you little peeping Tom. " The Queen commanded.

„ Ok.ok. Oh man. Why I`m Everytime the Bad Boy? " Rafael said to himself.

„ Because you are it everytime. " The Queen said.

„ Dow. That hurts. " Rafael said and starts to go but then hide´s himself quiet.

„ Haha. So that´s cleared please answer me one last Question my Dear. "

„ I will if I can. "

„ Do you think he will be a good father? "

Tessa turns her Head in his direction and then said „ if not him, who else will be good? "

„Yeah. Sorry for asking. Ok. Let´s go back to the Boys. " The Queen said and they both walked back to the Boys.

„ Hey Boys. Are you done? " The Queen asks.

„ Yep. But before you go back I have to tell you something about your Marks. " The King said. " Can you show me the marks please? "

Zack and Tessa do as they were asked for and showing them their marks.

„ As I expected. " The King starts. „ Do you know what they are for? "
