Tick Tock ~ Chapter 1
Starting a story since I had this one character who I loved drawing and was thinking of making my fursona when suddenly she simply disappeared. I stopped drawing her almost as soon as I came up with Clockwork, my current fursona, so I decided to delve into my thoughts to find out why.
That was the only thing to go through her head, over and over, as she flew through the air, a long stream of scarlet flowing through the air. Her eyes slits, she fell to the ground, legs crumpling feebly. She looked up at the hyena leering over her, ears folding and letting out fear-scent. The yellow canine bent down and whispered in her ear: "I am your successor. I will not let you live as long as I breathe on this hunk of rock you call home." she laughed, licking her muzzle. She looked up at the hyena as her vision grew dim and blurred. She could just make out the hyena lunging for her throat when a thought entered her head. What happened? Cream Cheese grunted and curled up under her blankets as her alarm blared inside her head. She flicked with her tail, causing it to fall and become muffled. She groaned and sat up, ears flattening at the sound of her mother's howl. "Coming!" she yelled back, swerving so her legs dangled off her bed. She yawned and kicked the alarm as it finally silenced itself. She stood, short tail swishing and eyes wide with excitement. Today was the day she would finally graduate from her old class as a character to a fursona! She bristled happily before containing her excitement. One of her old friends, Lyme, had became a fursona for one of Cream Cheese's assigned human's friends! She patted down her fur, shoved on a shirt, and continued out the door. She was about to go down the stairs when a howl froze her in her tracks. "Oh god." she moaned as an alabaster wolf clambered up the stairs. The look on his face told her he had seen her grades. "Young lady, with these grades, I'm surprised you are even qualified to graduate." he snarled sternly, violet eyes narrowed. "Yeah, yeah, I know, but I still get the thing, right?" she asked, eyes shining. He attempted to hold his stare, but lowered his head and chuckled. "Yeah, alright." he laughed, grinning. Cream Cheese gleamed brightly as the wolf nimbly stepped past her. She had plans for the night.
