Second chapter of my second installment!

Hey Everyone! Here is Chapter 2! Please leave comments and vote! They fuel me to continue writing! Glad you guys liked the intro! More development in this one! Hope you enjoy!

Well, this was quite interesting for a first day. I discovered that there was an LGBT group at my school, my "girlfriend" has a homophobic cousin, and Jason is a guardian god that I'm beginning to develop feelings for. Great. This is all I needed. Why did he have to come into my life? But what if it's for the better? That's equally possible. I've started noticing that Colin was starting to act a little distant around me. We haven't had sex in awhile either which was really disheartening. I will have to address that later though.

First, I need to talk to Ashley. I need to clear that up and settle that immediately. On my way to school I shoot her a message.

Me: So, I made an interesting discovery yesterday.

Her: I know! I'm so sorry! I didn't mean for that to happen! I totally didn't know! Please forgive me!?!? :( :(

I sighed. She really probably didn't know.

Me: Yes yes I forgive you. But we need to cover this up and end this before your cousin beats the shit out of me.

Her: He won't do that! I talked to him about it and set him straight. He'll leave you alone.

Me: Yaaaaaa that's not for sure. We need to stage a breakup. Not a bad one. A mutual one where we're going to remain friends. I thought I had more time to continue this, but with these events, and possibly future ones, I can't afford this.

Her: Really!?!?!? Are you sure!??!?!?

Me: Yes I'm sure.

Her: Ok. Lets talk in the hall before class.

Me: Sounds like a plan.

I put my phone away and sighed into the seat.

"Mom, when can I drive to school? I need the practice!"

Yes, I had gotten my permit over the summer. Wasn't a big deal. It'll be more of a big deal when I get my license. I got my permit late since I took driving school privately. But I'll be getting my license in the spring. Can't come soon enough.

"Soon honey!" she responded, smiling.

I rolled my eyes and unbuckled my seatbelt as we approached the entrance.

Roy and I got out and went our separate ways once inside. I noticed that Roy wasn't really heading towards his locker. Maybe he was going to visit a teacher or something.

I went and found Ashley by her locker and tapped her on the shoulder. She turned around and gave me a big hug and a kiss on the cheek.

"I'm sorry!" she said, giving me the puppy dog eyes.

"It's alright." I smiled, chuckling.

"So, what are we gonna do?" she inquired.

I pondered for a moment on the best way to do this without being suspicious. It was hard to think right on the spot but I had sometime in the car as well.

"Alright, we're going to have to wait a solid two weeks before we make it official. I would've suggested today but that's way too suspicious. I may change my mind and make it a month just to be on the safe side. Actually, lets do that. And we'll make it mutual. We're going to remain friends. Just didn't work out with us. But a month I think is enough time. You agree?"

"Yep!" she said with the one minute bell going off.

I darted off, "I'll talk to you later!"

Colin sat down in his class and stared at the teacher and board blankly. His mind was all over the place. He was really torn with what was going on in his life. Ty and him had such a great thing in the beginning. And then it got ruined. Thanks to him. Well, what they had was still technically great. But at what cost? Getting made fun of? Beaten up? Attacked? How could he go on like this?

And then there was Sarah. She had practically become his best friend. Amazing. That was the one word to describe it all. Simply, amazing. Why shouldn't she become his girlfriend? But what would she think? She'd think he's crazy. But, he did show interest in girls before Ty. Right? He couldn't even remember! Is that a sign that he shouldn't go through with this?

Back and forth. Back and forth. That's all his mind did during the entire class. He didn't even hear a single word that the professor had said. That's alright. He'll get the notes from someone else. The sound of the bell is what got him out of this trance. He got up and then paused for a moment.

A thought had come across. A thought that he had yet to think about this entire time. It was always followed by "If" but this time it had changed in form slightly. And his heart ached that this thought ran across his mind. He sighed as he continued to walk towards the door. He said it again in his head. He had to say it out loud to make sure it actually sunk in.

"I have to break up with Ty." He whispered to himself.

About halfway through the day, I caught Joe in the hallway. I hadn't seen this kid in awhile. Again we didn't have any classes together so that sucked.

"Yo Joe!" Yea I had a little rhyme, what of it?

He turned around and smiled.

"Yooo." He said in his usual tone.

I smiled.

"What's going on my man? How was your first day and the rest of your summer?"

"Good. Pretty low key. Like the classes so far."

Always the short answers with this guy. That's all right. He's still awesome.

"How are you and Colin?" he asked.

I sighed slightly.

"Eh, long story. It's getting hazy and shitty right now. Too much to talk about in this short time."

He nodded. "Well, I'm here if you need me."

I smiled and darted off, again, when the bell rang.

"We'll keep in touch! We gotta hang out more!" I shouted.

"For sure! Just let me know!" he shouted back, grinning.

I need to find that guy a girl. He's an awesome dude. Maybe I can get him together with Ashley once we "break up"? I'll have to look into this.

When I arrived to the locker room to change for gym, I had to do a double take when I saw Jason getting changed. He wasn't here yesterday though. I guess he must've switched due to some sort of a scheduling conflict. He began walking towards me. As if this couldn't get anymore stereotypical I started to panic and I could feel myself blush slightly. All right, got to get a hold of myself.

"Hey Ty." He waved and smiled brightly.

Wait. He knew my name? How? We haven't shared a class. And gym we were in separate areas. I didn't mention it on that day. Right? I was pretty scared shitless so maybe I forgot that I had? No. I definitely didn't. No matter. Had remain collected.

"Hi." I said, not very meekly. Proud of myself for that.

"You doing alright? Corey bother you again?" his faced turned to concern.

"Nope! I've been good. Thanks again for that by the way!" I smiled trying to not gush.

"It was my pleasure." He said, patting me on the shoulder as he walked on.

I went straight to my locker blushing a little more. I started to get a little hard-on from that. Are you serious!? The guy just talked to me! Thankfully, it went down fairly quickly and I changed and went to meet up with the rest of my gym class.

Luke went about his day as normal. The day was coming to a close and he hadn't see Roy at all except for the class they had together towards the beginning of the day. When out of no where he got a slap on the ass.

He turned around furious when he saw Roy standing there.

"What the hell were you thinking!?!?" he shouted.

Roy smiled and pushed him against a locker and started making out with him. Luke pushed him away.

"Are you nuts?! Did you learn nothing from your brother!?"

Roy chuckled.

"There's no one around! Relax all right!?"

Luke took a moment to look around. And sure enough, there wasn't actually around. He signed in relief.

"Still, you don't know someone could just come walking around. This is high school. It's different. You'll learn." He nodded towards the end of the hall.

Someone had turned the corner and walked right past them.

"See? If I hadn't stopped you who knows what could've happened." He remained calm.

Roy frowned. "I'm sorry."

Luke gave him a hug when he realized the other person was out of sight.

"It's alright." He whispered, running his paw along the back of Roy's head.

The rest of the week flew by. It was Friday. The big day. The end of the first week of school and the time I would finally meet this group. I waited anxiously and of course the day dragged. And dragged was an understatement. When the bell had rung for the last class I practically sprinted. And then I thought about it and that I should wait till most of the students are out before I start heading that direction. Maybe that's what they all do? Who knows. They could have their own little methods.

I changed pace and took my time. After about ten minutes when the majority of the school was out or in other clubs or sports, I headed towards the area where this infamous classroom would be.

I got a little lost at first since I had never been in this area but I finally made it. I stared at the door for a moment. Took a deep breath and walked in.

My eyes first met up with the teacher who jumped up.

"You must be Ty! We were beginning to think you weren't coming!" he said, smiling widely.

He wasn't flamboyant. Just very perky. Seemed nice though. Now I had to see who was the "we". I analyzed the group. The very small group. And then there he was. My savior. My god. Jason. I stopped breathing for a moment. A small part of me was not surprised that I'm seeing him here. However, I am still shocked. This jock was in this group. Well, I doubt he was gay though. Maybe he was just supportive? But he winked at me last year! I remember that! He flirted! Yes! Fuck yes! Ok, now time to calm down and look at everyone else.

I didn't recognize any of them. Never seen them once. It's a pretty big high school so I'm not surprised. Didn't take long to scan everyone else. There's six all together including the teacher.

"And Colin?" the teacher interrupted.

Oh yea. Colin. He didn't even mention it to me. I forgot the note had said that they were going to give him one as well.

"Um...he couldn't make it." I made up an excuse. Got that to clear up now as well.

"Oh. I see." He sat down.

I took a seat as well. Next to Jason of course. At this point I got a chance to smell his scent. And as expected, it was heavenly.

"Well, welcome to our group." Again, teacher interrupted.

I smiled. "Thanks for inviting me."

"I might as well start off with a little history. I'm Mr. Pitcher. You can just call me Mr. P. We've been around for a couple of years now. As long as I've been a teacher really. I'm fairly new and I got the group going and then the students came. I am not personally gay, cause I'm sure you were wondering, but I am very supportive and when I discovered this school didn't have a group, nor really supported it themselves, I decided to take action,"

I nodded. Pretty cool guy. He continued.

"You're welcome to come whenever you please. Just to get something off your mind, talk about coming out stories or to help you come out, etc. We do not force anything. If you do not want to, you don't have to. However, we did want to talk to you about this girl you're seeing."

I nodded. Right. I cleared it up for them. I gave a simple explanation of my logic and where I'm coming from and just to get some heat taken away from me.

"I thought that might have been the case." He said. I rolled my eyes mentally. Of course you did.

"But listen, we thankfully got graced with Jason. We consider Jason our 'gay guardian'. He is personally not out yet to anyone. I hope you don't mind me saying this Jason?"

I turned to Jason. He was looking at me. He just smiled and nodded. I did a little cheer in my head. Yes!

"But he's willing to protect those that are out from getting bullied. He can't be everywhere at once but he does the best he can. I heard before you got here the little incident. As you can see that's just one example."

I smiled widely. This is awesome. I guess I have my own little security. Well that's reassuring. Doesn't mean I'm going to come back out again and make a statement. Like the guy said, he can't be everywhere. And he's not even out and he can fend for himself. But as strong as he is, even he'll struggle when he's outnumbered.

"I am very grateful for what he did for me. We definitely are very lucky to have him around." I turned towards him and blushed slightly when I saw he was smiling at me again.

The rest of the meeting I decided to just listen. It seems how the process goes is that each student takes a turn to discuss anything they want. Literally anything. The primary topic was obvious but it drifted from time to time. I decided to myself that I had my turn clearing up the whole "girlfriend" issue. Jason didn't talk either though, which was unfortunate. I was hoping he'd have something intense to talk about.

The meeting ended after about an hour and as I was about to head out Jason stopped me.

"Listen, I give my number out to anyone just in case they need anything."

He pulled out his cellphone.

"What's your number so I can text you and you'll have mine?"

I gave it to him and was practically shaking. Yes. I'll have his number!

And then I mentally punched myself. Why am I getting so excited? Just because I'm in a rut with Colin I'm supposed to just move on? That's not fair to him. But he's not making an effort either. I held my thoughts for a moment.

"Thanks. You keep doing favors for me and I don't know how to repay you." I blushed.

"I'm sure arrangements can be made." He winked.

I blushed hard.

"But seriously. If anything is troubling you. Especially with that jackass Corey. You let me know alright?" He turned serious.

I nodded meekly.

"Good. I'll talk to you soon hun." He caressed my arm and walked off.

I stood there. Again, slightly hard just from his touch. If there's anything more I'd probably just explode right then and there!

And then my nagging thoughts came back to annoy me. Colin. Hm. What am I going to do with him? Well, his ears must've been burning because I felt my phone buzzed. My heart skipped a beat for I thought it was maybe Jason but it was Colin. I opened up the text.

We need to talk.

He couldn't be more right.

There's Chapter 2 for you! Hope you like it! Keep a look out for next installments!
