A Cub's Hardships: After the Orphanage
Dante groaned as his new parents told him the "good" news. They were moving. "Do we have to? All my memories are here." His new parents, Dale, a black-furred blue-eyed rabbit, and Rebecca Hungerstone, a white-furred red-eyed rabbit, watched him as they tried to figure out if he was serious. When, after half-an-hour, they had decided he was they finally gave him an answer.
"Well Dante," Dale said, "mommy and I got job transfers after we decided that it'd be best for you to get out of here."
"Oh, you decided it and didn't include me?! I should get a say in the matter! I've lived here my whole life and you just want me to say that we can move right now?!"
"We're moving with or without your permission, boy! As your father, I can-"
"You're not my father! I watched my dad die!"
"That's it young man! You're grounded for disobeying me! That means no television, no computer, no games, and NO music!"
Dante's eyes went wide at no music. The boy followed his "father" to his room and watched as everything was removed. He sat on his bed and sighed. The little male didn't want any of this and knew that Dale wouldn't listen to any apologies.
