A leopard and his friends show off their archery skills while competing in a free-for-all mock battle
I have to admit, this was the first adult story I ever wrote and I think it shows. I felt a little awkward as I was writing it, though I'm sure it doesn't show as much as I think it does. Be gentle, I was innocent!
Enjoy, guys!
It wasn't the sound of rustling leaves that woke the young leopard from whatever daydream had gripped his mind, nor was it the sun glinting off of the dewy grass which lined the field he stood in with nearly thirty other boys and girls. It wasn't the sound of the instructor at the front explaining the rules of today's exercise; rather it was the growing excitement in the pit of the boy's stomach that finally roused him. These exercises were nothing new, held almost daily as both a means to provide fitness for the trainees as well as training for their upcoming lives as television's newest crop of prime-time athletes. The snow leopard had spent weeks playing out these very scenarios with the other furs gathered here, as well as others who were off doing god knows what in far-reaching districts of the compound they'd come to call home.
"Listen up kiddies; you know how to handle yourself so I won't waste time explaining strategy to you. You should know better by now, and those of you who haven't figured it out? Well, the crowd loves a bit of cannon fodder as much as they love a star. Believe me, I have a feeling we'll be seeing a lot of both out there" shouted out a rather oddly dress red panda at the front of the group. An older male, perhaps in his late thirties, he had donned the traditional garb of the instructors and guides of the institution. A simple white robe, non-descript but bunched at one hip to provide some shape to his form beneath it. It was accented only by a pair of wings sprouting from slits in the back. Angels they were called, not in spirit or mind perhaps but certainly in authority. As if they passed on the word of God himself, the angels were tasked with turning recruits like the leopard and his friends into competitive forces and, when appropriate, remind them that humility was something best remembered. He moved with a grace that befit his title, grin on his lips as he looked over his charges. While both the boys and girls wore similar outfits for their exercises, neither was particularly appropriate for public places and the eyes of the panda could not help but linger. Simple tank top jerseys bore the names of each competitor. Seemingly fit to be too small on purpose, the sporty tops left bare swathes of bellyfur exposed before giving way to one of two kinds of briefs. The girls wore low cut pink bikini briefs on their hips while the boys mirrored them with blue briefs, cut higher at the waist but perhaps a little too low themselves. The tight garments made a spectacle of the sheathes and balls hidden beneath the light cottony fabric. This fact was not lost on the boys, or the girls, but like all things the self-consciousness had faded with time and now only the pleasure of the sight remained.
The leopard, svelte like many of this kind, drew himself from his thoughts once more. While he hadn't intended to, the boy couldn't help but realize he'd been staring at the pink-clad rear of a raccoon girl standing in the rows of players in front of him. While he may not have noticed, lost in the eager anticipation of what was coming, the girl certainly had.
"See something you like, Kay?" she asked, a playful grin cracking along her muzzle. The grin drew a blush from the leopard as readily as the girl's realization he'd been staring.
"You know it, Sam" answered playfully. The flush faded as a cocky certainty, born from past victories, replaced it on the feline's features.
"Save it, lover bo--" the girl's answer was cut off by a sudden shout from the Angel.
"Arm yourself and get out of here, kids. You all know the rules. One hit kills for this match, no teams. If you need more ammo for your weapon you'll have to scavenge it from the dead." Kay had no idea what the rules were however. The boy had missed the instructions during one of his increasingly frequent daydreams. It wasn't long before they were made clear to him, however. The lines ahead of him were the first to rush forward, his row following and the feline carried along for the ride. The calm glade they had used for the pre-game gathering was filled with the sound of playful shouts and teasing catcalls. The Angel promptly moved out of the way to let the contestants past. Arrayed on racks just before the tree-line hung bows and quivers of arrows, and as the competitors rushed past each in turn armed themselves before vanishing into the dense foliage of the woods. This wasn't the first time they'd been armed with less than conventional weaponry; the games called for skills in numerous situations, and the leopard hefted his bow with a familiarity mirrored in his competition.
"Try not to shoot yourself this time will ya, cat?"
Kay turned just in time to see the large plush tail of Sam vanish down a small path, his witty retort dying on his lips as another familiar voice interjected.
"What? Not even going to bother run this time? Makes sense I suppose. Not like you're going to get very far." It was another boy, an otter. He was about the same size as the leopard, 5'8" or so and just as eager looking. The attempt at a taunt only drew a low sigh from the feline who couldn't help but smile as he drew a paw along the other boy's bared belly.
"Games been going for a whole two minutes and you're still alive, otter? I'm impressed." The answer came with as practiced an ease as the feline's ability to handle his bow. Drawing his paw away however he'd gesture towards the woods, "Come on, we need to get in there before they disqualify us"
The clearing was empty save for the Angel who stood by, waiting for his real-time updates of the game's progression. With a stern look spared for the two remaining boys he'd gesture towards the woods before letting his features melt into a friendly grin, "Get going before I have to do something drastic, boys" instructed before his attention returned to the small screen before him. Neither of the boys needed much more prompting and with a second spared to nock his bow with one of the blunted arrows they'd be using for the game, Kay headed into the woods while the otter headed elsewhere.
"Good luck, Aqua" was all Kay was able to say before the otter was gone.
The forest pulsed with the sounds of life as the leopard slunk through the foliage at his feet. Small brush and ferns provided little cover while preventing the boy from moving as silently as he'd have liked. The game had been on for nearly ten minutes since he'd parted ways with Aqua and the growing tension in the pit of his stomach only grew stronger with each passing moment. No doubt there had already been some deaths in the game and though he had yet to spot any opponents in the seemingly unending battlefield, Kay had no intention of allowing himself to be surprised. He stopped only long enough to examine the ammunition he'd been issued by the organizers. They were seemingly normal alloy arrows, white flights soft to the touch yet firm enough to hold their shape as the projectile flew. The tip had been blunted, a strange adhesive replacing the normally sharp tip; the games were not a blood sport, and though they ranged in terms of intensity there had never been a recorded death or serious injury in their ten year history. The leopard's imagination took hold while he wondered over what the adhesive was, though he knew from experience what effect it would have. The sound of a snapping twig nearby roused him quickly from just such a daydream. Ducking behind a tree, Kay couldn't help but notice the tenseness in his belly had shifted downwards, the front of those light blue briefs tenting up with the side-effects of his daydream; not at all unusual for the boy, nor unpleasant, but certainly distracting.
"Come on, where are you?" he muttered under his breath, blue eyes squinting as he peered through the clear avenues provided by the trees. His bow was up, ready to loose his first arrow of the match but it seemed whoever had snapped that twig had seen the leopard first. The dull sound of an arrow striking the tree by his head was all the prompting Kay needed to get moving. A short peal of laughter echoed from somewhere nearby, following the leopard as he moved swiftly through the underbrush.
"Better keep moving, boy! Almost got ya!" rang a taunt from the underbrush. The birds still twittered overhead as though nothing was happening below them. The leopard, however, was looking for the source of that voice. A faint pinprick of nervousness plagued his thoughts as he tried hard to ignore the needful cock jutting up into the fabric of his briefs. He ducked behind a tree, crouching to make himself a smaller target.
"What? Too scared to answer?" came the voice again, arrogance tingeing the words. Moments dragged on and the leopard couldn't help but notice his own vulnerability in his position. He still had no idea who was hunting him and moving now would only give him away that much faster, he was stuck! The leopard's luck, as it so often was, saved the boy from an early exit. His hunter was the first to move. Nearly twenty feet from where the boy crouched in the underbrush, the shaking of some leaves drew Kay's attention. Kay's bow rose slowly as the slight shaking became a notable rustling and finally a shape emerged. It was a collie, a shorter boy who looked as nervous as the leopard felt. It was a clear shot and the leopard did not intend to miss it. Paws shaking with his anticipation for such an easy kill, Kay forced himself to steady before loosing his shot. The arrow flew true, the soft sound of the bowstring the only warning the canine had before the impact of the blunted tip drew his wide-eyed gaze downwards.
"Agh! Are you kidding me!?" cried the canine as his paws moved to clutch the arrow jutting from the side of his belly, the leopard's aim was dead on and the collie was finished. The adhesive worked as it was intended, the arrow jutting outwards while leaving the struck collie unhurt. It would, however, not leave him unaffected. Kay could only grin as he watched the other boy squirm on his feet. The matching light blue briefs the eliminated boy wore showed off his straining cock as the leopard watched. As the canine's face contorted, pleasure oozing from every aspect of his features, Kay couldn't help but stroke himself through his uniform. The dog's bow fell with a hushed impact, bouncing slightly as it hit the mossy forest floor. The collie himself fell to his knees while choking out a groan that only helped fan the flames of the leopard's lust. The canine's gaze lifted as he looked about for the owner of the arrow and it was only as he spotted the leopard crouched nearby that he let out an orgasmic, "Ooohwaaa!" His hips could do little but thrust forward. The front of those briefs betrayed the sudden release of his cum, darkening with the gush of dogcum pulsing from the boy's tip. Thick ropes of it pulsed into the dog's uniform as his body shook with the violent pleasure of an unintended, but not entirely unwelcome, climax; Kay was transfixed. Time slowed to a crawl as the leopard's paw continued to stroke his own shaft, a grin growing on his muzzle as he watched the collie fall backwards onto the soft ground with a final groan. The arrow still jutted from his belly as he lay prone amongst the bushes he had been using as a hiding spot just seconds earlier. While it seemed to Kay that it took hours, it only took seconds before the collie ceased to squirm. The collie's cock was still thrust upwards, as if trying to mimic the arrow which had eliminated the arrogant boy from the game.
"Serves you right" chided the leopard as he moved forward carefully, eyes and ears open lest another competitor come running after the collie's noisy end. It took only seconds for Kay to slip the downed boy's arrows from his quiver, "You won't be needing these, will you?" teased gently as he looked over his prize. The collie was still breathing, his cheeks flushed and his breaths coming in short puffs; he couldn't move though. The adhesive on those arrows paralyzed their targets for the remainder of the contest. Somewhere, no doubt, the Angel had already learned of the canine's elimination and made the appropriate adjustments to the player roster. His first kill of the game under his belt Kay's grin grew broader, confidence filling his mind as he rose to his feet and once more headed out into the woods.
The pace of the game quickened, as if the leopard's successful elimination of the collie had sparked some newfound vigour in the remaining competitors. The occasional body laid out on the ground left the leopard confident he was headed in the right direction. He had yet to find Sam or Aqua in such a state though, and knowing that they might still be out there left the boy wary of moving too quickly. Kay was not so lucky as to avoid the others and the occasional body left in his wake was put there by the leopard's own bow. One girl, a cheetah, had nearly done the same to him. Had it not been for a fluke shot which had sent her to the ground with her paws between her legs and an arrow jutting from between the swells of her breasts, the leopard would have no doubt been the one to fall. Her cries of pleasure had drawn others quickly and Kay had left the area as shouts, taunts and the occasional orgasmic cry of shamed defeat filled the woods. The area had begun to collapse inwards as those still standing began to congregate. The action became a heated rush of volleys and those who didn't find cover quickly were quickly laid out the moment they tried to move. Not every defeat came this way, however. As the leopard found a moment of respite amongst a clump of trees choked with mossy rocks and tall grass he couldn't help but spot a flurry of activity nearby. Two furs had seemingly teamed up; A male and female lapine were crouching nearby, each facing away from the other in an attempt to cover as many angles as they could in the increasingly corridor-eseque layout created trees. It hadn't been enough though as they found themselves surprised by the sudden appearance of a tiger boy, an arrow already nocked and ready to loose upon whichever of the two moved first. Their bows fell from their paws and their arms lifted in surrender, their gaze turning downwards to hide the sudden blushes reddening their white-furred cheeks. The lapine boy, lithe and girlish with a shock of brown hair, shook lightly with excitement as he surrendered himself to the tiger. Like most of the boys by now, both the tiger and rabbit sported heavy tents in their uniform sand as he watched the tiger lead his prisoners off the leopard allowed himself the luxury of a soft groan. The scent of cum was heavy in the forest air and with the momentary danger of that tiger fading with his exit, Kay finally moved once more.
It was a flash of brown fur amongst the green underbrush that drew Kay to expose himself enough to follow quickly. Somehow Aqua had survived the now heated battle and had found his way through the woods without too much trouble. Despite the otter's luck so far however, he remained oblivious to the predator now stalking him. It wasn't until the otter had begun to climb a hill, which reared up from the otherwise flat forest floor like some dirt covered blemish on a pristine emerald lawn, that Kay would actually confront him.
"All that work of surviving just so I could shoot you down? How considerate of you, Aqua!" called the leopard as he lifted his bow and took aim at the other boy's figure. The otter was caught largely unaware, turning to face his attacker and letting out a despondent groan when he realized who it was.
"Come on! I can help you win if you let me go! Nobody cou--" the otter's pleas were cut short as Kay simply loosed his arrow. Aqua could only choke out a soft gasp as he bent forward with the impact. Much like the collie before, he could only stare down in surprise at the arrow jutting from his belly, a paw gripping his own shaft through his tented briefs. "D-Damn, got me..." almost sighed out as he tried to remain standing on his suddenly shaky legs. The incline of the hill seemed like an impossible obstacle to the struggling otter, the chemical-tipped projectile gripping him in its feverish grip quickly. Kay could only smirk.
"Another one down" teased the leopard gently as he watched his friend try to remain standing. It was a short fight though as with a final groan the otter toppled forward, the warm feel of his cum gushing into his briefs deepening the blush on the boy's face as he rolled back down the hill,. Ending up laying at the feet of the victorious leopard like some prize to be gloated over, the otter could only look up in helpless submission. "Right back where you belong, eh otter?" added the leopard as his eyes trailed over the prone form of his gasping and groaning friend.
The sense of accomplishment that warmed Kay's mind was short lived as a new form of warmth filled his body. The dull impact against his back drew a surprised cry from the boy as his hips thrust forward almost instinctively. Unable to see what had hit him, the leopard already knew. The arrogance which had allowed the leopard to strike down his first victim of the day had just led to the feline's end as well.
"Ugh..." gasped Kay as one of his paws moved to try and feel the point of impact, the arrow he'd dreaded to find hard to miss as he gripped it helplessly. Blue eyes wide the leopard's world spun in a sudden haze of lust and embarrassment, unable to even see who had just finished him. When the creamy spray of his climax filled his briefs the leopard could only stand there shivering, his face flushed and his legs giving out on him. The tacky feel of his own cum seemed to only excite the boy more though, heated breaths drowned out by the sounds of his own groans as his thrust up cock pulsed his sticky seed into the darkening briefs. Lingering behind his pleasure lurked the confusion over who had gotten him, but even that faded as the leopard collapsed forward to lay sprawled over the body of the otter he had just eliminated. As his climax ebbed and the boy's sticky briefs rubbed helplessly against the small of Aqua's back, Kay could feel his body beginning to lock up with the arrow's paralyzing effect. Before his vision faded however, the boy's questions were answered by a flash of pink from the bushes.
"I swear, if you boy's weren't so preoccupied with satisfying your cocks us girls might be in trouble" floated a voice on the summer air. Sam sauntered towards the piled up otter and leopard before bending down with a smile, teeth flashing briefly before her paw rose in a friendly wave. "Play nice now, boys" she added as her paws slid down Kay's body only to slip his remaining arrows from his quiver. "I have a game to win."
Kay watched her leave, unable to move let alone answer her teasing. As the sun shone overhead the boy let himself drift off into his own daydreams once again. A soft rumbling purr was all he could manage with his limbs locked up by the arrow rising up from his back. He would get her, he always did eventually. For now the boy simply enjoyed the feel of the warm forest breeze in his fur, the heavy scent of cum wafting from himself and Aqua and the feel of his friend's body beneath him. There was always another day, and always another game.
