Chapter 8

As the night turned to day and the storm gone. Letra and I went out into the living room. We both held each other's hands and smiled, feeling refreshed after the sex we had. The two of us saw everyone in the living room as Kira was playing on the Xbox.

"Well... good morning you two." Silver said

I smiled at my big bro and replayed.

"Good morning to you as well" As letra and me sit down in our rocking chairs.

"So... how was the sex little bro." Silver said with a grined.

I rolled my eyes with a smile.

"Do I really have to say anything... you know how it went."

"You know me little bro."

"Yeah, I know you" I laughed.

Letra rocking slowly and looked around and asked.

"What are we doing today?"

"Well... we can go back out and train some more since the storm is gone. Every bit of training will help your skills in become a good archer." Caylnn said.

"That would be a good idea love, I'll be talking with Shadow about some stuff while you go and do that." Silver said in a replay.

Caylnn nodded and got up as Letra looked at me and smiled giving me a kiss and followed Calynn. As I blushed and smiled at her.

"Lycan, Liki... took kira out and go play with her or do something. I need to talk to Shadow privately about stuff." The two knew it was alpha business when it came to being alone. If not sex then.

The three left even though kira wanted to still play Xbox, but knew not to dis-obey her father.

I sit there looking at Silver and spoke.

"What is it that you need to speak to me about?"

"Well.... I was wondering about something. You be giving up a lot but..."

"Silver...." I interrupted.

"I know where you're going.... I know you want me back at home with the others. If I do this I'm taking my truck and the tools I need to keep the maintenance on it."

"So you'll be coming back with us?" Silvers tail wagging happily.

"Yes... I will, but only if Letra will. You know that her mom is very sick and is staying close by."

"That is a problem, but she has her clone to do that."

"I know I have to tell her about the clone, but it's her mother. The one to help us find and get this house for us. I don't want her to just up and leave. I want to, but I will talk with her about it. If she says yes, then we will start heading out tonight back to Nebraska."

Silver nodded and understood where I was going now.

"Now on to some important business I had wanted to talk privately about this."

"What's that bro?"

"Well... I have been informed from an agent of the government that's vampire packs have been spotted more and more now these days. Since the day of Charles death, things were... different. Now those years have passed. Vampire clans have grown more and are trying to get a new vampire leader. I need your help to stop them as best as we can. I know this will be hard, but we have to do the best we can."

"How's come you're not taking Liki or Lycan on this. Aren't they the ones who know how to help with this sort of thing?"

"Yes, but I need your help with this one. The one who helped started it all, the one which let us be free to live with others. Ruli can't do it because I need him staying close by at the cabin with everyone else and take care of important matter why I am gone."

"How long will we be gone?"

"About two month's maybe."

I sighed a bit knowing that's a while.

"Well.... Two months.... I can handle that. I just hope my new mate will be okay with that. I kind of want to stay close by with her since she is a new wolf and all. Yeah, you're my alpha and I have to obey what you say."

Silver sighed a bit forgetting a bit that his bro has a new wolf on his hands now.

"I forgot about her being a new wolf. Though I know you're the one who is supposed to train her, but you don't know bow. Caylnn does and do does most others. I trained you on daggers since that is what seems best. Yet you know how to use your aura still right? That Liki taught you."

"Well of course...." I stopped and thought a bit.

"Is that why I have these red marks. The color of my fur and my eyes. I... I remember now. Pure black fur with golden colored eyes. Since Liki trained me I got these chain linked like marks and red eyes since I trained with him."

Silver nodded at me with a smile.

"You do remember.... I can see your starting to pick things back up like you did in the past."

I gave him a small smile.

"Well I will talk to her. Even if Caylnn has to stay here while we are gone. So as long someone I guess is looking after her. If she wants to come back to where we live then we will go there. If she wants to stay close by her mom, then have Caylnn or someone to watch over her."

Silver nodded at me with complete understanding.

"I understand little bro, we leave tomorrow morning. I will let you get your things ready and talk with your mate."

Silver left with that going out to watch the new wolf train with his mate. As I got up and started gathering up my weapons and leather holsters that a few of my throwing knifes, and my two daggers. As I started putting my stuff in my truck getting it prepped to leave Letra came up behind me.

"Hey my big wolf...."

"Hi hun... um wernt you training?" I smiled.

"Oh yes, but we are taking a break right now. By the way where you going?" she said

"I have an important mission from silver our alpha him and me have to go do, but I have a question for you."

She turned her head.

"What kind of question you have?"

"Well...." I hold her hands looking into her blue eyes.

"I know your mother is very sick and you're keeping an ear out for the phone, but I will be heading back to Nebraska to live there for a long time and I may not be back for a while. I was wondering well.... Would you come with me? The pack can make sure if something happens they can get a hold of you. A wolf will be close by the place. So they will make sure if something happens with your mother. So... would you come with me to our pack place? We do have our own room so you don't have to worry about that."

"I... I don't know.... I do want to come with you, yet I want to stay close by my mother."

"Well like I said we keep a close eye out and you get informed about it asap."

"You promise that I will?"

"Yes my love, I promise you." Giving her a loving nuzzles.

"Then ... I will come with you. When do we leave?"

"We leave first thing in the morning. Take a few things you know you'll need. Your clone will take over for you and do your job while you're gone."

Letra nodded and went to gather some of her stuff up and putting it in a rut sack and placing it in the bed of the truck. As I was looking it over making sure one last time the vehicle is good to go out in the forest area of Nebraska.

Silver inside now sitting watching TV with the others resting one last time before they hit the road. As I now come in seeing everyone including Letra.

"I heard the news Shadow. I am happy to hear she is coming with us." Silver smiled.

I smiled and sat down with everyone.

"The truck is all ready for us the topper is put on and I put the chair part in the back also so everyone can get in and go."

Silver nodded knowing my truck only seat only five in the cab, the bed we can now put the other two in.

"I know we were going to leave tomorrow, but it be best we get going now. The closer we get there the faster me and Shadow can go on the mission."

I nodded and long with everyone else.

"Okay gathers all your stuff then and put it in the bed. Leave room so the two getting in the back can get out." I said.

Everyone nodded knowing Silver, Letra, and Kira, and Caylnn are sitting in the truck.

As everyone had everything gathered and mine and letras clone are now running the place and jobs for us, I open the garage door and started the truck as everyone got inside. Silver sitting next to me up from as Caylnn, letra, and kira sat in the back. As Liki and lycan were in the bed area.

I back out and headed down the road going to I- 76 then onto I-80. Everyone was sleeping but me, Silver, and Letra. As Kira was fast asleep on Letra's leg as she smiled. I looked in my rearview mirror and smiled knowing we were going to be great parents.
