Metamorphic Force Commission
#10 of Written Commissions
So I received this request, and payment, for a written commission about the first stage of an old arcade game Metamorphic Force.
A fun game, I played it while doing research to write this piece and made some basic discoveries such as the panther using Black Tiger Style Kung Fu.
It was fun to write and I added in as much detail as I could where I was able. Even in the more sexual based parts of the fights were the females and demon were trying to distract them in order to gain an advantage.
Regardless, it was a great time to write. I hope you all enjoy.
How could there be any doubt that something was wrong? The people had learned in short time to fear the island that had risen out of the ocean in such a short time. It hadn't risen alone, however, with it bringing lizard men, pigs, elephants, porcupines, and other agents of darkness that had been spreading across the land. Even the gods had grown nervous as one by one their demi-gods and heroes were being wiped out and torn away from the earthly plains. This news of human devastation had pushed its way through the ranks of Athens until the finally fell on the ears of Athena. Sitting upon her throne she crossed her legs. Hands gripped the arms of her chair where everyone was waiting to see what kind of decision that this goddess would make.
There was no need for people to approach her on this, she'd already sent out two of her best guardians in order to scout and solve the situation. Even holding her cool demeaner in order to calm her fellow gods, but this goddess grew worried where she had lost contact with them and was no longer able to sense her champions. There were still two others that she could send, but even now she was worried she may have sent the first two to their deaths. Regardless, she had to stand strong, she had to show the other gods that there was nothing to fear by this, and that everything was under control. It also meant that she needed to summon the other two guardians in order to put an end to this.
Two orbs of bright astral light would flow down into her court room. The guards were be prepared to do away with whoever it was that would enter so blatantly in these dark times, but the goddess waved them away, having called upon them to arrive before this court herself. The guards did exactly as they were told, nobody willing to disagree with someone as powerful as Athena. In their bowing grace they moved back into their stations where the light faded displaying the two that she'd called, the last hope for this world.
Claude had earned Athena's request where his swordsmanship and finess were far superior than those of his kinsman. His general fencing tactic had earned him the rights to her appeal, but his understanding of weapons to trade in the rapier for the heavier saber which would allow for him to perform heavier strikes capable of sundering armor, was what granted him her respect. She'd bestowed on him her gift as a guardian against evil, the animal spirits that would help him in his time of need. Even now his golden blonde hair was long and pulled back in into a pony tail, his cloths were refined, and even his face sang of wooed women. Any girl could look into his blue eyes an agree that this man was a catch.
Max was another story though, having dedicated his life to his craft, his soft face hadn't seen many women where his fists had righted the wrongs of many men. Where Claude had a sword, this man had no need for any weapons, his first and techniques made him as dangerous as any blade could possibly be. His outfit proved himself to be a brawler, the shoulder area thickened and the outfit loose enough to allow movement. Still he'd removed the sleeves himself to take that worry off his mind. His hair color was similar to his partner here, but it had been cut short on the top and front where it had been allowed a little longer in he back.
"Heroes," The goddess started out her speech, "I've summoned you here today because of a blight that's been overtaking the land. As you are already aware, an island has lifted from the ocean and is spreading it's beasts to attack the innocent. You, noble guardians, will be sent to this island in order to overcome it's denizens and defeat the King of Death."
At least one of the two had to question as to why the gods didn't step in to put a stop to this, but the information became obvious as the two realized that it wasn't the destiny of the gods to interfere, but the fate of humanity to put an end to this crisis once and for all. Other than this, it was never wise to question a god, no matter what the reasoning and logic. They have their responsibilities that kept their attention constantly. No, this quest was for the guardians that were summoned, and with honor and respect hey would be doing it as requested.
That bright light forming around their bodies again to slowly lift them from the ground. Traveling in this method took some getting used to, but was so much faster than walking, or even catching a ride. There was no mystery to the fact that divine travel was always going to be faster no matter if it's a portal or a ball of light the throws you across the sky at neck breaking speeds. The tip from Mount Olympus would have taken weeks, months, even longer without this, and thanks to the travel that Athena provided they were at the beach of this evil island in only a few seconds.
Even as the light faded from around their bodies it became instantly obvious that this land was cursed with heavy amounts of dark energy. Magics focused down until their sole purpose was to serve the forces of the King of Death. Even if they managed to defeat him, there was no guarantee that this island would ever go back to the way it was. Instead it was more likely that the abused energies would continue to create twisted trees and mutated animals for all time.
As soon as this transportation light faded from around them, they only had one direction to go in. There was no way back from here and the duo would need to finish off this king in order to get back. It was at that same time that the situation of their friends status became evident. Within seconds the beach flooded with lizard men. These creatures were long since known as being agents of the King of Death. Their entire society had been moved to this very island before it sunk the first time just for the sake of serving him more effectively.
The two humans looked to one another, each one ready to fight and die in order to stop this evil king from taking over. The saber was drawn from Claude's side just in time to slash across the air and catch a pouncing lizard, it became obvious right then and there that these creatures were playing for keeps. The martial arts of Max proved to be effective enough against these smaller creatures. Two hard punched to the chest would end with a third across the face. A backwards mule kick sent another back that had been approaching from behind. Another series of slashes followed by a devastating stab would end a few more.
Even against these odd, these two guardians knew that they had to press on. They knew that they needed to live this out and progress if they ever wanted to stop the attacks on their land. Claude moved in first, his sword moving with skill and finess in order to slash across the chest of one reptile. Another one would feel his blade to the side of that it's face, and another with a deeply delivered stab. All the time Max went into action. His foot lifting to the side of one head only to turn after the kick was delivered and send the heal of that foot down to devastate the collar bone of another. Two punches to another lizard's stomach followed by a cross to the monster's face would instantly prove what Claude was also realizing. The thick scales of these creatures protected the like a layer of armor. Even with their heavy strikes and fast cuts the two were in trouble.
Still these two had to push on, they had to get to the end of this long task even if it meant taking on every single lizard person on this island. He desperation adding it's effects to their blows. A lizard coming down from a higher location, aiming to slash its claws down the length of the brawler, but his skill brought his hands up to cross overhead and block the strike. With a jump he'd turn and launch his foot directly into the chest of the creature, sending it backwards before landing and delivering another kick to an approaching reptile.
The sword was held out in front of the swordsman, and even with that small bit of steel he'd created a wall to separate them from him. As one would come in to strike he'd slap its hand away with his blade before stabbing inward to finish the creature off. It wasn't as fast paced as the brawler, but still the defensive stance was more than enough for these creatures. That is until he looked over to watch the progress of his friend where he blocked the kick from a reptile only to find the tail coming around and slapping him hard along the side of the face.
"Max!" He yelled to him, but this alone was enough to break his wall of defense and a claw ripped away the fabric of his shirt and left deep cuts in his chest. Gripping his wound he want to get his mind back in the fight, but it was too late, the other lizards moved in fast, digging their claws into him and even ripping the saber from his hand in order to toss it to the side. Unarmed he dropped to the ground, doing what he could with this weight on top of him in order to crawl his way to his friend.
Max heard the yell, but before he could even react to it Claude was down. Pushing himself to his feet he'd pick up the fight were his friend had dropped. A hard hook, a fast jab, and a lizard pouncing onto his back only worked to wear down this fighter more until he was pulled onto his back on the ground, struggling to get up while the lizard populous continued to jump onto him, burying the two under a wave of green scales, armor, and whatever else they had brought into this fight.
They were hoping to have put this off for longer, to win this with just their skill alone, but it quickly proved that this tactic was not going to work. Instead they had to use that. The ancient power bestowed on them by the goddess Athena herself in order to title them as guardians. Even as the crushing weight continued to build these two focused inward. They'd focus on their instincts, on their rage, on their very souls until the power burst out from around them. Snarling at first these two grew slightly under the weight, but even as they're bodies changed the energy coming off of them threw the reptiles off of them to impact ground, rock, and ocean.
The shining white wolf that was once the swordsman snarled at the aggressors that had not yet been taken down. In a howl he'd charge in fast, delivering a heavy kick to one's side only to bounce himself up into the air and come down on another with a forceful punch that slammed the lizard into the ground itself. Max wasn't to be left out, he'd charge in as well with his figure as a black panther. Between the two they devastated these tiny lizard creatures. The brawler's hands were dangerous before, but now as a panther he had claws. His own long feline grip would take hold of the chest of one lizard where he impacted with his palm and soon slashed to the side in order to deal heavy damage. Another lizard came in to take his place, but it would only receive a kick to the chest before the black hands came to his size and thrust outward at the beast in order to strike with both hands at once.
"Tiger style from a panther. I never thought I'd see the day." Claude teased, gripping onto one of the lizards and bringing his fists up over and over again into the creatures stomach until it simply dropped to the ground.
Max chuckled to this and nodded, "Yeah.. but where's your sword?" he said back to him with a smirk over his lips.
Soon the final lizard dropped down at their feet and the two were finally able to advance from here. Their eyes falling on the sight of the ruins that used to exist on this island before it was taken over by the King of Death and sunk to the bottom of the sea by the guardians of the past. The black plume of smoke rising from the largest of the ruins would easily display exactly which one they would need to head for, but in order to get to it they needed to pass through the smaller ruined temples.
It was hard to tell when boots stopped hitting sand and started hitting stone floors, but the duo would press on, making sure to keep their new keen senses open for any kind of ambush that could come along. The second they entered the temple hands lifted to the beasts noses where they even had to take a step back. It was obvious that the lizard people lived here, but basic cleanliness was not one of their strongest talents. The scent reeked of the lizard's very existence, their unclean lifestyle leading to their dirty scales to smell terrible. The heightened senses of the canine and feline only made such a thing worse. Still they couldn't win if they reverted so the only option here was to continue on and deal with the smell.
Already new lizards were rushing towards them, aiming spears and axes to try and stop these invaders from continuing through their home. Usually it was just the men that fought, but where a large group of them had fallen at the beach it was up to some of the women to step in and take up the call as well. Even fighting women these two needed to get through, they needed to meet their goals here and take on the great evil in order to drive it back down, but thanks to these creatures dedicated service, they now need to fight their way through the entire lower society of the lizard creatures in order to progress.
The females of this small front line group smirked to one another, winking at the boys and even giving a soft hiss to them as they reach up to squeeze there large breasts. One even turning around to those off her hips only to be met with the smacking hand of another. The two guardians look to one another, curious about the situation, but having a hard time not watching the girls. Where one of the males rushed in with a spear Max would back hand the blade to the side before bringing his other hand up to break it. Just as the creature realized that his spear was broken the panther performed a heavy kick to the lizard's stomach in order to throw the reptile against a wall. The females though rushed in next. Max managed to push one off by the other two were able to tackle him to the ground.
Claude moved in quick to pull one off, but she only looked over the canine body and with a smirk pounced onto his chest. Feeling her busty body pressed tightly against his own drew a fast pant from the dog, but still he tried to push her off. That tail coming around to wrap his waist and keep her pinned on. The sharp teeth spread easily and the wolf knew that she was going in for a bite, but instead feeling his lips get pressed between hers where she kissed the canine deeply. In shock he kissed back, but soon regained himself in order to push her back enough to provide a hard punch to the side of the head and drop her down to the floor.
On max the girls were trying a more straight up fighting tactic. Where one would pin him down and the other would try kicking him. This feline gripping the female pinning him to the floor and in a fast turn he'd twist himself to throw her into the other as she prepared her kick. Only one of them got up from this and in a fast motion he'd get to his feet and slash across her ample bosom causing a loud scream from the female before a spinning kick to the head would silence her. She dropped to the ground from the kick, skidding across the surface of the stone squares that were left from this temple. Even as Max planted his foot back down, his focus on was moving forward.
This lizard society proved to be relentless. They'd just finished off the last wave and already more were moving in. They needed to advance from this spot, they needed to gain ground and get through this ruin, even if they don't take on every single lizard in this place, once they were at the other end they could run for it. The key here was advancement and the longer these creatures stalled them the closer the King of Death got to taking over the entire planet. Max starting with a fast punch, the two no longer falling for the seductive tactics of the females where the panther slashed with his claws across the armor of one only to reach up with his other hand and break the handle of the axe that had been coming down at him. This ended with a fast kick to the lizard's knee where he could twist himself around and land a final deciding fist straight down into the lizard's face.
Claude made his own attacks, jumping up high and kicking hard towards one. As his attack landed he'd turn himself with his other leg and catch the creature on the side of the neck. Another lizard grabbed, a single punch to the stomach, and a throw would land it against another, the heavy armor trapping that one on the bottom while this canine charged at a female. Even as she jumped up to cling onto him, this experienced wolf gripped her by her shoulders and brought her down just as he brought his knee up. The bone shatter impact sending her crumbling to the floor before he landed just behind her from his powerful strike. The two guardians looked to one another and started to sprint down the hallway, rushing their way through other potential ambushes and attacks as they charged their way ahead.
A fast punch ot the side of the skull to a lizard, the well-aimed strike to the chest and then stomach of another. Even as they brought up the bulkier boars these two continued their run. Finally they were at an impasse. A line of armored boars forced these heroes to stop in their tracked with their pointed spears ready to skewer them if they hadn't stopped. Already they could hear the sounds of the lizards and boars these two had passed catching up to them and there was no way they could take that kind of number. Even where the line of boars advanced these two met them with courage and determination, ready to strike them down just as they had others.
One boar among the rest charged in, stabbing out with his polearm only for Max to grip it by its base. With a kick he'd break the shaft right at the grip where the boar was holding it and now that it was hit weapon he'd turn it around and plunge it through the armor and directly into the chest. Even where the panther snarled to this creature and looked for the others to come at him as well the canine was forced to take guard where the others of that line charged in quickly. Max dodged another spear jab, and Claude backed away from the attack working to keep his footing. But where Max dodged he was able to get in close and strike at the parts in their armor, going straight for the vulnerable skin underneath. Once they'd been injured the feline made a hard slash with his exposed claws directly across the head and neck.
Claude backed up again to avoid another spear jab, but with the third one he'd black it to the left and put both spears away with one movement. This opened the boars up for the canine to deliver a hard series of punches to the two faces one ending in a hard uppercut to the jaw that lifted this wolf into the air and with an easy twist he'd make a solid kick that dropped the other. Ears perked and he'd look back behind him seeing the wall of lizard people they'd ran from catching up quickly. Taking some steps away his eyes turned immediately to Max.
With a fast yell and a quick run he'd deliver his message quickly and easily, "We've got to go." He said, leaving Max to look behind them before joining him in running.
"How are we going to lose them?" the feline asked, but soon was stopped again by a lizard person standing in their path.
She wasn't female, but she wasn't male either. In this way she was both and smiled at them knowingly. A lift of her hand would stop the approach of her clan proving herself to be their leader without ever having to open her mouth. She'd look them both up and down, smirking and even moaning at them as she moved her hand down her own body and lightly played with her easily naked slit under the full sized cock and balls she sported. It was to be teasing, to be alluring, to draw them in, but more so, to fill the air with her potent scent.
The scent alone dizzied the two guardians. Where Max lost his balance and dropped to the ground the canine moved to step forward. He had to try and stop this, if it continued much longer the they would be stopped here. There was no way Claude was going to simply allow them to be defeated by something as simple as odor. Max was with him in spirit where he couldn't find the balance to pull himself to his feet. The wolf did his best to try and make his way over, but the closer he got the stronger the smell became. Finally by the time he even got to her, she'd simply reach out and grip him, pulling Claude down on top of her and into a deep kiss. Despite his struggling there was nothing he could do to stop this.
Her hips bucked to his, rubbing against his own, where she even gave out a soft moan directly into his ear. He could only shiver this this, still fighting to get away from her or at least put a stop to this seduction. Even where he got weaker the canine still tried to resist her to the best of his abilities. This herm lizard person would put a stop to that as well and roll over quickly in order to pin him against the floor. She had stopped kissing him, but was still grinding herself against this scaled creature.
Even through a smirk her smile vanished suddenly when she felt the kick land at her side. It seemed that when she rolled over to focus on this wolf she wasn't able to keep her odor being fanned towards the panther anymore. The force of the kick throwing her off of the canine, but with her claws digging into the stone ground she snarled to the feline before charging in towards him. In a fast jump her sharp clawed legs reached out for him, forcing the panther to lean back in order to dodge the kick, but there was no dodging that thick tail that came down on him like a mace, forcing him to hit the ground hard.
Claude made his move as his friend impacted the stone floor. Moving himself into the point that this lizard herm was going to be landing and with a grab he'd twist himself in order to throw her. The claws of the lizard person gripping his chest fur and leaving a deep cut along his muscles before twisting in midair and landing on her feet with a grin. Even as she charged back in he'd move to jump backwards in order to create ground between them, but more so to get her to charge in at him while he's bouncing away from her. Those wolven lips folded into a smirk far too late for her to get out of her realized trap. Even when his furred hands wrapped around her shoulders the lean canine would thrust his knee directly into her chest before landing with his feet planted to the ground. She also landed from this attack, but did so on her shoulders before the force of the strike rolled her over her head to land on her stomach.
The lizard society rushed to her aid, circling their leader to see if they could do anything to help her, and in this time Max and Claude took the opportunity to leave the area. Taking the fast turn where the hallway here bent they immediately saw what the leader was trying to guard. A group of five girls were sitting around a double circle, evenly spaced with candles that were halfway burnt down from where they had been sitting and chanting for so long. Even without being able to understand their words the duo knew that they were closing in on finishing whatever it was that they were doing. It didn't matter what the goal here was, it couldn't be good.
In a bursting charge the canine and feline rushed in towards the females to, if nothing else, distract them from finishing their ritual. Each only looked at the group as the first lizard girl that they came to was forced into the center of the circle by where the panther tackled her with his full force. The other females shrieked from the display of the creature's brutal force. Looking to one another while they're friend groaned in the center of the circle, trying to inch her way from the beast that had attacked her. Max looked to Claude confused by their reactions, wondering why these females would act this way when the others have been relentless in their attacks.
The girls smirked suddenly, speaking to one another in their lizard tongue where they seemed to be discussing these males. The two brought their guards back up, but it was too late where one of the girls had already slipped behind them. They'd feel her claws at their backs forcing them stumble forward, Claude keeping his guard up against the girls while Max turned himself to the one that attacked. The two hadn't noticed where the girls had forced them into the middle of this circle. The one that had been on the ground slowly picking herself up, her hand lifting to her bloody lip to wipe it clean before placing that hand directly in the center of the double circle where these two were standing.
They'd look down to her as she made a run for it, the room strangely darkening around them. The two looked around and the girls would depart, not wanting to face the wrath of what was coming. An updraft picked up where the two stood and both separated to different ends of the room where they looked back to see the bright red flash that soon formed around the shape of this creature. As the light faded it displayed the goat demon, and in a smirk to these heroes he said nothing, only drawing his scythe into a perfect grip where he waited. The two guardians simply watched him, waiting for him to explain himself. They could sense the demon presence on him and heard the sounds of the remaining lizard people darting down the hallway to get out of this goat's way.
"None shall pass this point." He said to them, under direct orders from the King of Death himself not to permit anyone to venture onward, it looked like the spell casters had managed to finish their spell just in time for him to stop these would be heroes.
There was no choice, these two would need to fight him. The panther took the lead, moving in with a low stance that allowed him to kick upward. The foot blocked by the shaft of the scythe before an upward swing would force the panther into a backflip in order to avoid losing his leg all together. The attention on Max gave the wolf time to move in quickly to aim for a hard punching strike for the goat's back. The swing to the leg sent the scythe blade over the horned head of the demon in time to block the punch from the wolf before the shaft was twist in order to place that blade directly behind Claude's back. In a fast movement this demon pulled back on the scythe, aiming to cut the canine in half in one motion. His attack was stopped with a foot pressed to the very base of the shaft, stopping his attack.
Using that foot potion as a jumping point Max would leap into the air and twist to try for a high jump kick, a fast spin of the weapon knocking that foot away before it could come close to connecting. Another turn of the demon would bring him to face Claude again, thrusting that blade forward in order to impact the canine knee that had been lifted to hit him with the blunt side of the blade. A fast, strong pull on the shaft sent the butt of the shaft directly into the chest of the panther before he had a chance to land from his failed kick.
Max held his chest from the strike, but soon found that shaft around his body, pinning his arms to the side where this strong goat crushed the panther's body against his own. This feline bushed at the feeling of the demon's crotch pressed against his own, drawing loud pants from the breast even as he struggled. The hold only became tighter as his movement's failed to break him free from this hell beast, and finally the compressed chest, pinned between the scythe and the demon, forced the feline to go limp. With only a chuckle the goat moved to press Max's head against his shoulder, even petting him like a kitten as though to comfort him.
"It's ok, you don't have to fight me, kitty. Why don't you join me instead?" This demon said, while pulling the feline's head back and looking directly into his eyes with his crimson gaze. He could feel the thoughts of serving this demon in the back of his mind, snaking their way through, ordering him to betray his friend, and his goddess. There was no escaping it. His very self vanishing to the order.
The only thing that saved him was a hard jerk coming from the goat's body that forced the eye contact to be broken. In a snarl this demon turned to look at Claude who had landed a hard kick to his back. Even as he released the feline, Max simply dropped to the ground, working to regain his strength. Still panting hard from the attack on his very mind. The goat swung the blade hard at Claude, but in a duck and a dodge backwards he'd escape the attack.
The goat didn't seem fazed at all by the miss, but kept the blade pointed at the canine just before balls of fire ripped form the blade itself, one after another shooting towards the canine who used his sword trained footwork to dance his way around the first, a quick duck saved him from another, but he had nowhere to go for the last which impacted his chest hard sending him flying back.
This demon raced forward, but immediately felt the ground come up to hit him in the face where he found himself tripped by the one that had been on the ground earlier. Turning his attention back to the feline he'd quickly jump to his feet, scythe in hand only to feel a kick to the back of his knee from the canine forcing him back down. The final blow coming from the panther's black tiger style who swiped down at the back of his head and forced the face directly into the stone floor of this temple.
The demon laid there for a few seconds, simply shaking from the final attack. Slowly he'd push himself up from the ground to his knees. The two fights taking their guard where the demon started to swell, his arms and chest growing, but this wasn't the breast powering up. Panic and pain on his face as he reached up towards the sky and in a firing explosion would vanish, banished back to the hell pit that he was summoned from, scythe and all.
With a sigh the two looked to one another and even chuckled some for the fight. They'd gotten through the first of the higher minions that this Kind of Death could sent at them, and they weren't about to stop now. With a continue to their travel they'd work to treat their wounds on the go, still needing to complete their goal for their goddess and the planet. Their path ended with a fork, but the directions were obvious. One path vanished into the forests and mountains while the other opened up into a town. It was odd that there would be a town out here on a sunken island, but if anything there was proof that these people developed their establishments quickly.
"Which way should we go?" The wolf asked, looking down one path and then the other.
"We don't have the time for idol shopping or even medical treatment, so the village there would be pointless to us. I say we head towards the mountains." This panther answered trying to add reason.
"We might be able to find out what happened to the other guardians though. If they're still alive we should try to save them." The counter argument came causing the both to think. Regardless of anything their main goal here was to stop the King of Death, "I'll head to the town to see what I can find out. You take the mountain path and press on. Perhaps we could meet at the other end of the mountains if the paths cross again. Otherwise I'll see you in the King of Deaths chambers in our final fight."
With a smirk the panther agreed to this and the two would shake before splitting up to head in their individual directions. These two would meet again, but sometimes in order to advance a strategy a team must split up for a bit in hopes of coming back together. For now these two would head in their own paths, were the panther was used to the wilds in his martial arts training, the swordsman wolf was far better with people. Neither looked back where they trusted the other to make it through, and both were ready to advance to this final fight.
