The Origin of the Demon Minotaur Samael

The story of Samil begins with Jameel Kensington, a 23-year-old black male who was born and raised in the DC suburb of Takoma Park, Maryland. A talented football and basketball player, Jameel was attending the University of Maryland on a football scholarship. He had hopes of playing in the NFL. Sadly, that was not to be.

Late one November night, Jameel was walking to his parents' house, when he walked into a drug deal gone bad. Poor Jameel was in the wrong place at the wrong time. The two parties in the bad deal began shooting at each other. In the process, Jameel caught two stray bullets. One in the chest, the other in the neck. By the time paramedics could reach him, Jameel had lost a large amount of blood. His life expired on the way to the emergency room.

The life of Jameel Kensington ends here, but the story is just getting started.

It was not Jameel's time to die. So he was not allowed into heaven. Leaving Jameel's spirit in a state of limbo. He had a choice. Wander the earth as a ghost, or enter the realm of Hell. Jameel's spirit did not want to be a wandering ghost, so he made the decision to go to Hell.

Jameel's entrance in Hell was noticed by many of the major players that ran the demon world. Most saw Jameel as a whipping boy. But one saw something different.

The Mother of all Succubi and Incubi, Lilith, saw Jameel as a spirit whose will would never be broken. She realized that Jameel had no real business being in Hell. But Lilith did not have the power to restore life to Jameel. She did, however, had an idea to use Jameel to Hell's advantage.

Jameel was summoned before Lilith. She explained to Jameel that while she could not restore his life, she could arrange things so that Jameel could return to the realm of Earth. But, she cautioned, that he would no longer be Jameel Kensington, but a deliverer of death. His entire appearance would change as well.

Lilith offered Jameel this opportunity. She gave him twenty-four hours to think about his decision.

Jameel went to his little corner in Hell and contemplated this offer. During this time, Lilith ordered that no demon disturb Jameel, lest they themselves would incure her rage. Those who knew of Lilith knew better to make an enemy of the Succubus Queen.

At the appropiate time, Jameel was summoned again by Lilith. She asked him for his decision. Jameel chose to accept the offer. He was willing to become Hell's newest "grim reaper".

Lilith stood up from her throne and approached Jameel. She explained that her kiss would transform him into the creature that Jameel held in high regard. She asked if he was sure of his decision. Jameel said he was, and that he was ready.

Satisfied with his decision, the Mother of all Succubi took Jameel to her private quarters. She gave her instructions to her personal guard that she was not to be disturbed regardless of the reason.

Lilith led Jameel to her bed and had him sit down. She them removed her garments, revealing her flawless, beautiful, body. She then proceeded to remove Jameel's tattered clothing; what was left of it, anyway. She then had Jameel lay down on the bed. Lilith straddled his legs, and took his manhood in her hands. Lilith now explained that he was no longer Jameel Kensington. She advised him to choose a new name.

Jameel thought for a moment, and decided that his new name would be Samael, which was the Hebrew name of an Angel of Death. The name means "whom God makes" and "venom of God."

Lilith liked the name. "Samael it is, then", she said. She then asked for Samael's loyalty.

Samael, the former Jameel Kensington, knelt before the Mother of Succubi, and the Queen of Hell, and pledged his loyalty to his new mother. He also pledged to deliver those who have earned a place in Hell, and those that have earned passage into Heaven, he would see that they were protected. Sama'el then kissed his Queen's right hand.

Lilith accepted his pledge. She instructed him to keep in contact with her through her lieutenant, the succubus Watamaraka.

"Rise, Samael, my newest son," Lilith commanded. "Go forth and do your duty."

Thus, began the life and sworn duty of Samael, the Demon Minotaur. The Angel of Death.
