The Stalker
Have you ever felt like you're being watched? And I don't mean being in a crowd and feeling eyes upon you, I mean being alone in a dark area with no one around, but you still can't shake this terrible feeling of someone staring at you. You look around, check every nook and cranny to come up empty pawed, so you return to what you were doing, confident you're alone. You then feel the stare again, but try to ignore it. However, whatever is watching you gets annoyed by this and yanks your tail. You yelp and turn around, only to find nothing there. Getting a bit frightened by this, you try to pick up the pace of whatever it was you're doing and try to get done so you can get out of there. You then feel the stare again, but this time it annoys you. You spin around on the spot, and scream, "Who's there?" With all your might. You get no response, but you swear you can hear maniacal laughter behind a door, or under some boxes. You check to find nothing. You then turn and realize all too late there was a face there that had hollow black eyes and a twisted smile that seemed to be permanently scarred onto his horrible face. He was also very humanoid other than that, but his skin was pale and decayed. He stares straight into your soul with his menacing stare of pure hatred.Now, you only see this face for a second or two, and don't even notice it until you turn away, so how are you sure of this? You don't realize it at the time, but the monster stuck that image into your permanent memory, and you will never feel safe again.If you've never felt this, there's still a chance the Stalker is watching you. You should probably check, and to be safe, sleep with one eye open. Mwahahahahaaaaa...
